Abstract

In general, women's saving and loan activities are one of the activities in the form of savings and loan, which all members are women. Bengkalis Sub-district as the Capital of Bengkalis Regency in Riau Province has also participated in this activity since 2011. The discovery of 19 groups of users of Savings and Loans Women who are delinquent due to their business traffic jam. It was found that the process of meeting the financing needs of the business or the basic socialization has not been fully realized. This is due to the limited capital or funds available in the Kecamatan Activity Management Unit of Bengkalis, which has an impact on the waiting list of the unaffordable group of prospective Savings and Loans borrowers. The majority of female groups who utilize the Women Savings and Loan Fund are not entirely to be used in improving household economic activities, but the business capital obtained is used for activities that are merciful. The problem in this research is how the implementation of Savings and Loans Activities for Women Groups in Kelamantan Village Bengkalis Subdistrict, and what are the factors - obstacles in the implementation. The purpose of this study is to know the implementation of Savings and Loans Activities for Women Groups in Kelamantan Village Bengkalis District, and the factors - obstacles in the implementation.This research approach using qualitative research method. The location of this research was conducted in Kelamantan Village Bengkalis District Bengkalis Regency. Informant research using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed by descriptive method using qualitative approach.The results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of Savings and Loans Activities for Women Group in Kelamantan Village Bengkalis District Year 2016-2017, less run well. Weaknesses in the implementation of Savings and Loans Activities for Women Groups in Kelamantan Village Bengkalis Sub-district Year 2016-2017 occurred in the mentoring that has not been emphasized on business development and marketing and coverage of poor households is still relatively small.Keywords: Activity, Save and Borrow Women's Groups

Abstract

This study was conducted at Resty Menara Pekanbaru Hotel where located on Sisingamangaraja,No. 102,Pekanbaru. The problem of this study is the target of the hotel room occupancy has not been achieved in the last four years, this is allegedly influenced by employee performance. This Study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and emotional intelligence on employee performance in Resty menara Pekanbaru hotel.This study is using descriptive and quantitative analysis with the help of SPSS program. The target population comprised of 51 employees in Resty Menara Pekanbaru Hotel. The sampling chosen is based on census method that 51 persons that taken from overall target population. The method of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. To test the hypothesis in this study is using simple linear analysis and analysis of multiple linear.The result of research indicates that for the t test, organizational culture and emotional intelligence partially have a significant effect on employee performance. And the result of F test indicates that organizational culture and emotional intelligence simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, with R square value of 0.319. This shows that the organizational culture and emotional intelligence have an influence of 31.9% on employee performance, while the remaining 68.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Emotional Intelligence, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Education is a means of educating the nation. Through the education of every citizen is able to maximize the potential establish a life and advance civilization. School-Based Management in an effort decentralized management of education in Indonesia is expected to improve the quality of education on an ongoing basis. The purpose of this study was to know the governability in the implementation of school-based management in Elementary School 18 Pekanbaru. This study uses the theory Sutoro Eko with qualitative approach and descriptive methods. This research was conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique is done by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the managerial capacity of the principal that the Management of the planning and evaluation of programs, curriculum, teaching and learning, workforce, equipment and supplies, finance, student services, relationship between the school and community and school climate have been going well, but the principal must increased its performance on manjemen workforce, equipment and supplies, school finance and school and community relationship management. While the political capacity, the principal has been able to gain political legitimacy to exercise its authority. The school principal has the capability responsive, regulatory and symbolic good.Keywords: Governability, School-Based Management

Abstract

Sukamaju village is the village of transmigration general public placement imported from Java Island; West Java, Central Java, and East Java. Sukamaju village is dominated by oil palm plantations, so that many people who work as farm laborers of palm included in this study are housewives. Work carried out by female workers, more dominant on the part of treatment. Type of work is the provision of palm fertilizer (nurture), picking up a fallen palm fruit, palm pest poison (spraying), and mow the weeds around the palm tree (chop).With the employment of the villagers Sukamaju take advantage of opportunities or employment opportunities, causing a lot of people who are interested to become laborers, including women. In addition, there are other reasons why women choose to work as laborers which are due to environmental factors (comfort in the workplace and their family support), the desire factor and the most important is the economic factor. According Wiliam J. Goode, women worked mainly due to poverty. The tendency for women to work is also due to economic factors. The location of this study conducted in Sukamaju village, Singingi Hilir district, Kuantan Singingi regency. The population in this study is housewives who work as farm laborers of palm, sampling technique that used in this study is senses method, the sampling technique when all members of the population used as a sample. In this study a population of female respondents as many as 42 people so that all the population sampled. Analysis of the data that used is a descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Where the content of this study contains a discussion of the result of the research is in depth explanation and interpretation of the data that has been represented. After a discussion of the results is given, then the next can be inferred. From the research results can be seen that women who go to work as laborers due to the economic demands, they are required to supplement the family income. Moreover, the desires to send their children to college also cause women to work, although only as laborer palm.Keywords: Social Conditions, Women’s work

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of organizational climate and job satisfaction on organizational commitment (studies on nurse of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru).This research method is descriptive and quantitative using SPSS 17 program, wherein the samples used are nurse of RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru with respondents as many 76 people. For a sampling technique used census method. The data collection is done through questioners and interviews.The results of the analysis using the validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test , t test and F test so it can be seen that variable organizational climate to organizational commitment, that job satisfaction significantly influence organizational commitment, and significant influence between society together climate and job satisfaction on organizational commitment.Keywords: Organizational Climate, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment

Abstract

The progress and development of a tourist attraction is always accompanied by good management methods. Among the most important is the management of visitors given attractions ranging from before visiting, during a visit and after a visit. Andalus Family Tourism is a tourist attraction that has its own way of managing visitors. This study aims to find out how to manage visitors in the Family Tourism Andalus. This research uses descriptive qualitative method to analyze the problem based on interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation which are then drawn conclusions. The subject of this study was obtained from the results of interviews with key informants, namely, the deputy chairman of the Andalus Family Tourism management. And the results of the research carried out, it appears that the manager of the Family Tourism Andalus shows that management specifically for managing visitors is still in the starting stage and looks simple. Management is still focused on tourist attractions. So that it has not made this tourist attraction a halal tourist attraction. Keywords: Management

Abstract

This study aims to partially and simultaneously examine the effect of leverage and cash holding on firm value. Where the independent variables in this study are leverage and cash holding and the dependent variable is firm value.     This study uses secondary data in the form of company financial statements and annual reports of property and real estate companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique, which is used by 16 companies. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test and coefficient of determination test using SPSS 23.     The results of the analysis show that partial leverage (t test) affects the value of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, cash holding variables partially (t test) affect the value of property and real estate companies listed on the Exchange Indonesian effect. Simultaneous test results (test f) show the influence of leverage and cash holding variables on the value of the company in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.   Keywords: Leverage, Cash Holding, and Company Value

Abstract

The performing arts is one of the values of cultural heritage especially in rural communities Kampar Kampar Kuok. In the performing arts calempong there are aspects that are rich in symbolic meaning represented from physical objects, musical instruments. The aim of the study is to determine the meaning of the symbolic situation, meaning the products of social interaction and meaning interpretation of the performing arts in culture in the village calempong Kampar Kuok.This study used qualitative methods to approach symbolic interaction. Informants in this study is calempong players, coaches studios, community and village leaders Kampar Kuok. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation.The results showed that the meaning of the symbolic situation in the art of calempong performances in the village of Kuok Kampar Regency consists of the main tools, musical instruments, calempong, drum, saluang, while the social object of performing arts calempong is non verbal perilkau in the form of movement and kronemik. The meaning of social interaction products of performing arts of calempong in the form of performing arts performances calempong good side players, public figures and spectators. Players interpret the performing arts have the art of cultural value. Kampar community leaders interpret the performing arts have the value of solidarity. While the interpreter interpreted the performing arts as a motivation, as well as feelings of pleasure and pride. The calempong player's open actions include the facial expressions of the calempong music player against the rhythm of the music and the attitude of the calempong players in performing the performing arts of calempong.

Abstract

Wayang is a shadow puppet show art that contains many elements of art, both music art, literature, craft (art) and others. The art of wayang kulit in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir regency is under the community of transmigrants to continue to be preserved. Wayang kulit Raras Irama is the only leather puppets in Bagan Batu that are in great demand and interesting to study. The purpose of this research is to know the process communication of wayang kulit Rajas Irama and the meaning of wayang kulit Raras Irama in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir This research uses qualitative method by using Symbolic Interaction theory. Subjects in this study were Dalang (trainer), Sinden, Music Player, people who invited wayang kulit and public (audience) performances chosen by Purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are done through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed the communication process performances wayang kulit Raras Irama in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir consists of performance preparations, shadow puppet performances and performance closures. The meaning of wayang kulit performance for Raras Irama wayang puppets includes puppeteer, sinden and music player. Dalang interpreted wayang kulit as self-expression, communication media and self-identity, sinden mean wayang kulit as cultural preservation and communication media and music player understood wayang kulit as cultural preservation and also communication media. The meaning of wayang kulit for the community that invites the show of Raras Irama wayang kulit in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir regency as entertainment, education and interaction as well as self identity. The meaning of wayang kulit Raras Irama for the general public in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir regency ie as entertainment and information. Abstract

Film is a media of mass communication that still have audiences until now. Film have some functions such as informative, educative, and persuasive. Beside it, film also become a media of life representation. Researcher lift a film entitled Tabula Rasa that representation unity in diversity values within. Tabula Rasa is a film that merge unity in diversity values between the characters. Tabula Rasa storied about struggle in life of nomads from two provinces in Indonesia. Within different things, they are can melted and re-found their dreams because of foods. The goal of this research is to know the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth by Roland Barthes that have in Tabula Rasa film. Beside it, to know the values of unity in diversity representation in Tabula Rasa film.The research method is cualitative that referring to semiotics analysis of Roland Barthes. The subject of the research is values of unity in diversity with research object is Tabula Rasa film. Barthes describes 3 his opinions that denotation, describes about signifier and signified in reality with explicit meaning. Connotation describes about signifier and signified related in non-reality with implicit meaning. And myth describes about customs and reliance applied in society.The result of this research show that scenes researched related with the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth by Roland Barthes. And the result also shows that have the representation of unity in diversity values in Tabula Rasa film are inclusive behavior, accomodate pluralistic character, not looking for his own win, deliberation to reach consensus, based on love and willing to sacrifice. From those 5 indicators researcher found the values of unity in diversity deeply and detail such as cultural diversity of nation, tolerance to differences, democracy, and to help each other.Keyword : Representation, Film, Unity in Diversity
