Abstract

This study examines the effect of marketing l'oreal and local products to compete with other cosmetic brands in Indonesia. Multinational Coorperation or MNC is a form of cooperation that is engaged in various fields of production and range of operations across market borders. L'oreal is one of the multinational collaborations that is growing rapidly in this research. This research is theoretically built using the theories and concepts of multinational cooperation. Researchers formulate all data from books, journals, encyclopedias, media, and websites. The theoretical framework in this study uses qualitative methods. This research proves that PT. L'oreal Indonesia has several ways so that its cosmetic products can compete with other cosmetic brands in Indonesia in 2010-2020.Keywords: Business competition, Multinational companies, market country boundaries, Multinational cooperation concept.

Abstract

Good debt management will determine whether or not the company's activities. This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of debt management as a tool to increase the profitability of PT. Nusantara V Pekanbaru Plantation. In this study using quantitative descriptive data types. Sources of data used are primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data using financial statement data from PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru period 2016-2020, and using ratio analysis.            The results of research on debt management as a tool to increase profitability at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru shows that debt management in increasing profitability is not good. This is because in 2016-2020 all debt management as measured by the solvency ratio and profitability is still fluctuating. Keywords: Debt Management and Profitability

Abstract

The underdevelopment of micro, small and medium enterprises tends to be misunderstood by various parties. One of the problems that has caused the underdevelopment of small businesses so far is the government which substantially does not want to be serious in carrying out a strong to protect and side with the interests of small businesses. In this case, the role of the government is needed which is marked by the existence of law No.9 of 1995 concerning small business as the backbone and strengthening the structure of the national economy. In reality, there are still various kinds of problems faced by number of business actors in Kampar District, the number of which are quite large and still need to get encouragement and guidance, other problems that arise are the low quality of UMKM human resources, and the development of UMKM in Kampar district is still not optimal. Local governments have a strong enough role in advancing and developing small businesses in their regions. So this needs to be analyzed further regarding the efforts of the Kampar district government in empowering UMKM. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. The types of data in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis.The results of this study are several efforts from the Kampar district government in empowering srikandi batik UMKM in sibuak village, Kampar district. Including the implementation of entrepreneurship training which is held in order to improve the ability of UMKM actors in managing their UMKM businesses. Based on several related indicators in empowering UMKM, it can be concluded that the Kampar district government through the trade department, cooperatives and UMK has tried to maximize the empowerment of UMKM in accordance with good indicators, but in the rality it is still considered less than optimal due to the lack of public knowledge and also the limited scope that is far from the reach of the government so that is not comprehensive. Abstract

This study aims to describe the roles of ASEAN in escalating the tourists visits in Philippines especially in 2015 to 2017. With the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), all ASEAN member countries use it as a forum to achieve the national interests countries, as well as Philippines. Philippines uses ATF as a forum that facilitates to promote domestic tourism. Philippines is a country that has tourism potential and has a dynamic but relatively good rate of foreign tourist arrivals.This research theoretically has built by using pluralism perspective on International Relations and supported international organizational theory. Formulation of all arguments, data, facts, and theoritical framework in this research using qualitative methods. ASEAN Tourism Forum plays an important role in the development of regional tourism. ATF is a step of regional cooperation in order to promote ASEAN as one of the best international tourism destinations. ASEAN Tourism Forum has positives impact on the development of the Philippine tourism industry in terms of escalating foreign tourist arrivals in the Philippines. Abstract

This study examines the changes in the jathilan dance in the art of Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) Changes in the Jathilan dance in the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari art. 2) The relationship between jathilan changes to the socio-economic conditions of Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari. This study used qualitative research methods. Theory used Talcott Parsons AGIL Theory. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. In this case, determining the informant using a purposive technique that has been determined previously. The informants of this research were seven people. The results of this study change the jathilan dance because there are social deviations and the inclusion of keyboard music. However, it did not appear from 1995 to 2007. This change in the Jathilan dance followed the adjustment of the Reog Ponorogo art group in Java. Changes that occur in clothing, music, songs, and movements. The change in the jathilan dance, which was originally male, has now changed to female. With strong cultural principles they do not mind the amount of wages they receive. On the other hand, the appearance of this art is so that it is always maintained and can preserve this art. Keywords: Change, Jathilan Dance, Reog Ponorogo

Abstract

Early in 2020 the world is tossed with the advent of the corona virus (covid-19). In the face of the covid-19 pandemic, all parties must rise and not continue to crash under the conditions, especially in the tourism sector. Pokdarwis is part of a society that plays a crucial role in recognizing awareness of the covid-19 health protocol in a tourist attraction. The assessment aims to know the role of pokdarwis in covid-19 socialization healyh protocol, recognizing the efforts pokdarwis performs in Covid-19 socialization of the acttractions Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi.wich is an icon of Pekanbaru, has become one of the tourist acttraction areas that implement CHSE during the pandemic. The uses qualitative descriptive methods, the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The informants in this study consisted of the head of Pokdarwis, the caretaker, and the coordinator of the tourism object area rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi Pekanbaru. in the stages of planning, implementation, and utilization stage have been done by Pokdarwis even if they have not been properly implemented. Pokdarwis efforts in the socialization of covid-19 health protocol by following BISA activities, and maintaining environmental sustainability by mutual assistance. Abstract

This study found that the management of restan land in Banjar anjang Village, Kerumutan Subdistrict, is still not going well, because the implementation is still being used for personal gain by planting palm oil on restan land and village treasury land, various inhibiting factors that cause non-management of treasury land assets villages both administratively, planning and utilization, including: There are no village officials who have the appropriate background in the field of asset management both knowledge, expertise in finance and reporting, as well as the status of land titles that are still unclear, so that village treasury land assets what should be village income and used for the public interest is managed by the community privately. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency and the Office of Manpower and Transmigration. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data, and the informants in this study were the Head of the Manpower and ransmigration Office, the Head of Banjar Panjang Village, the Secretary of Banjar Panjang Village, the Head of Community Welfare Affairs in Banjar Panjang Village, the Chairperson of the Village Tas Land Management, Head of Restan Land Management and Community Leader of Banjar Panjang Village. This study uses the theoretical framework of policy implementation according to Van Meter and Van Horn theory The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the policy on the use of restan land in the village of Banjar Panjang has not been carried out. It can be seen from the Van Meter and Van Horn Indicators 1) standard and policy objectives that the policy targets related to Restan Land are intended for residents of the KK fraction. 2) Resources, HR who do not have expertise in the land sector, inadequate facilities and infrastructure in matters of asset management. 3) the character of the organization, the government of Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency, the division of tasks is not in accordance with the duties and functions of each agency. 4) the attitude of local government implementation is considered that the commitment or support for the implementation of this program is good enough that village land, especially restan land, is allocated for family members and residents who need it. 5) communication between communication organizations is one of the factors that hinders the implementation of the policy on the use of restan land in Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Regency. 6) the social, economic, social and political environment in this persuasive process received a lot of resistance from the public. Abstract

Japan imposed a ban on imports of chicken meat from Indonesia. The Japanese action was due to the fact that Indonesian chicken meat could not meet the standards set by Japan. The import ban on Indonesian chicken meat has been implemented by Japan since 2004. Indonesia is trying to re-export chicken meat to Japan by increasing the quality of domestic production. This study aims to explain the response given by Japan in responding to Indonesia's request to export chicken meat. This study uses an explanatory qualitative method with a mercantilist perspective and foreign policy theory. According to the mercantilist perspective, the state is an important actor in international trade. The economy is a tool to achieve the interests of the state. the active role of the state is very important in international trade. The theory used is the theory of international trade. By using this theory, we will find out how Japan is in the interest of the state in conducting trade with Indonesia. The results of this study concluded that Japan accepted Indonesia's request to reopen the import of chicken meat. However, Japan imposed conditions for chicken meat from Indonesia. First, Indonesia can only export processed chicken meat. Second, companies that will export have met the standards set by Japan. Third, Indonesia is opening beef imports from Japan. Abstract

Community participation is a tool to obtain information about the conditions, needs, and attitudes of the local community, if they feel involved in the process of preparation and planning and democratic rights. So that community participation in forest and land fire control causes a decrease in the number of fires, although there are still fires in Rokan Hilir Regency. Then the handling of fires in Rokan Hilir Regency is carried out with the Rokan Hilir District Regulation No. 41 of 2017 concerning the implementation unit for controlling forest and land fires in Rokan Hilir Regency. And the urgency of this research is expected to provide a role model in solving the fire problem by changing the policy perspective from top down to bottom up. The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in supporting forest and land fire control policies in Rokan Hilir Regency. The theory used is based on 4 indicators of the form of community participation from Cohen and Uphoff, namely participation in decision making, participation in implementation, participation in benefit making and participation in evaluation. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. In collecting data, the author uses interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that community participation in forest and land fire control policies in Rokan Hilir Regency has decreased the rate of forest and land fires in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2019 - 2020 in accordance with Government Regulation Number 45 of 2004 concerning forest protection so that community participation is achieved. in supporting forest and land fire control policies. Abstract

Pig farms in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province with dozens of livestock are troubling residents. Its existence results in air pollution and scattered waste. However, this seems permissible. Because, until now there is no prohibition or relocating the farm. This study seeks to determine the coordination between the Environmental Service of Kampar Regency and Siak Hulu District and Pandau Jaya Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. In collecting data, the author uses interview and documentation techniques. After the required data is obtained, the data is grouped and described according to its type and analyzed using qualitative analysis. The results of the study explain that the Regional Government Coordination between the District Environmental Service and Pandau Jaya Village on Pig Farm Waste in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District according to 3 Coordination indicators (1) Agency Effort, (2) Unity of Action, and (3) Common Purposes. The results of the study indicate that in coordinating so far, they have worked by making efforts in dealing with waste from the pig farm by holding meetings. However, there are still shortcomings, namely in involving inter-agency efforts and taking an action is still constrained due to unclear laws. Then in achieving common goals between agencies, efforts have been made to achieve effective results even though they have not been fully resolved. Keywords: Coordination, Pig Farming Waste
