Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve the achievement science of school year 2015/2016. The subjects of the research was the students class VA of SDN 181 Pekanbaru in number 44 students. It is a classroom research by two cycles. The data of the research shows that the achiement having improved. It is proven by the score result of the theacher’s activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 10% to 70% (good category) and cycle II 80% (good category) improved as 5 % to 85% (very good category). The students activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 5% to 65% (good category) and the cycle II improved by mean 75% (good category) improved as 10% to 85% (very good category). The research finding also having improved, where before the learning cycle learning model. Was implemented on the passed based score was 18 students (40,90%) by mean 62,20. The cycle I, the passed students having improved as 28 students (63,64%) by mean 78,55 and on the cycle II improved to be 37 students (84,09%) by mean 83,64, this show that the application of learning learning cycle model can improve science learning outcomes grader VA SD Negeri 181 PekanbaruKeywords: Learning Cycle Model, achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is less of result in writing skills at grade III class. This is because teachers taught monotone, did not use instructional media, and lack of mastered classes by teachers. Therefore, this research aimed to improve the narrative essay in student writing skills by using picture series. This research was done in class IIIC SD Negeri 94 Pekanbaru. The total of number 37 students. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). This research using data analysis techniques activities of teachers and students activities, the analysis of narrative essay writing skills as well as improving narrative essay writing skills. Based on the results of this research by using the media picture series, the student’s skill every cycle has increased the average on the basis of score obtained from homeroom III 53,51, after conducted the action in the first cycle increased to 60,24 and the second cycle increased to 72,81. It can be concluded that using media picture series can improve the writing skills narrative essay third grade students of SD Negeri 94 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Picture series, writing skills, essay narrative

Abstract

Abstract: One of several factor which influenced learning achievement is interest. This study aims to determine the relationship between student interest in student learning outcomes in mathematics fifth grade students of SDN Cluster 4 Districts Limapuluhkota Pekanbaru. Pebelitian methods are correlational. Mechanical sampling using cluster. Methods of data collection using a scale and technical documentation of the value of MID second semester. The analysis technique used is the technique of analysis Product Moment. Test requirements analysis in the form of normality and linearity test. Engineering analysis and test requirements analysis using SPSS 20. Results of research is conducted indicates that there is a relationship between interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN group 4 Districts Limapuluhkota Pekanbaru obtained rxy of 0.374 with a low correlation level and also interest in learning to give effect to the results studied at 14%. Dioeroleh t test results obtained thitung 3.722 and 1.663 ttabel this case shows that there is a significant relationship between interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN Cluster 4 Districts Limapuluhkota Pekanbaru.Keywords: Interest In Learning, Mathematic Achievement

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is the low result of learning mathematics in grade V at SDN 184 Pekanbaru with an average value was 64,66. While the KKM mathematical specified school was 75. From 38 students, only 15 students who reached the KKM. The objective of the research is to improve the result of mathematic lesson of V grade students at SDN 184 Pekanbaru with implementation of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay. This research was classroom action research with two cycles. The subject of this research is student of VA grade with 38 student which consisting of 18 men and 20 women. Based on observational sheet of teacher and students activity showed that teacher and student activity were improved every meeting. The activities of teachers in implementation cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay in the first cycle at first meeting was 75% (enough) and a second meeting was 79% (enough). And second cycle at first meeting was 88% (good) and the second meeting was 92% (very good). Activity of students in the first cycle at first meeting was 71% (enough) and a second meeting was 75% (enough). And second cycle at first meeting was 83% (good) and the second meeting was 92% (very good). Mathematic learning outcomes before implementation cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay with average 64,66, after implementation cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay average UH I increased by 16,23 to 80,89, and average UH II increased by 28,96 to 93,62. Based on the analysis of data of this study it can be concluded that cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay outcomes mathematic class V SDN 184 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Cooperative learning model type course review horay, mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students 008 Lubuk Siam. It can be seen from 23 the number of students there were 7 (30.43%) of students who reach the limit KKM and 16 (69.56%) declared not complete the assigned school KKM is 69. The average value of grade 56.7. The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes IPS with the implementing cooperative learning model TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 008 Lubuk Siam. The results of this study after study conducted, obtained an average value of 70.2 UH I increased with the percentage of 23.81% and the UH II average value increased to 80.4 percentage increased to 41.79%. Once applied cooperative learning model TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) in the first cycle increased with the percentage of 56.52% in the classical is not finished, while in the second cycle there peningkatandengan percentage of 82.60 classically been completed. Activities teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of 70.83% categorized enough activity. The second meeting increased with 79.16% percentage has increased with both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of the activities of teachers has increased the percentage of activity 87.5% with both categories. At the second meeting of the second cycle has been increased with the percentage of 91.66% with a very good category. Activities of students in the first cycle the first meeting of the percentage of 70.83% categorized enough activity. The second meeting with a percentage of 79.16% has been increased with both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity has increased the percentage of activity 87.5% with both categories. A second meeting has been increased with the percentage of 91.66% with a very good category, thus the implementation of cooperative learning model TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) can improve student learning outcomes IPS.Keywords: TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the low of student’s achievements on the subject of natural sciences. Therefore, it is necessary to study learning by Learning Cycle model. This learning model is a student-centered teaching. So that students can master the competencies that must be achieved in learning with the active role, so that students are able to reveal prior knowledge and the opportunity to refute, debate their ideas. This is a good approach to learning science. The main objective of this study was to examine the learning outcome of students who obtain the IPA between learning through Learning Cycle model with students who received conventional learning. This research was conducted in SDN 006 Integrated Kubang Jaya grade students IVC as the control class and the class IVA as an experimental class using Rondomized Pretest-Posttest control Group. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis, in the experimental class earned an average of initial tests 63.12 into 75.05 on the average score of the final test. While the control group gained an average of initial tests of 62.74 and increased to 72.94 on the average of the final test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the average at the beginning of the test and the final test, but there was no difference statistically significant increase in learning outcomes among students who obtain IPA learning through Learning Cycle model, of the students who received conventional learning.Keywords : Learning Model Learning Cycle , Student’s Achievement Natural Sciences

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know wheter there realtion between self efficacy and motivation of learning mathematics 5th grade of elementary school in 6th regional of Kecamatan Tampan, Pekanbaru CIty. Sample research determined by sampling random, election of sample relied on technique of Cluster Sampling, so that in this research is specified by 86 respondents. Data collecting conducted by using questioner. This research used correlation of Pearson's product moment. The analysis of the research data obtained by the coefficient correlation between self efficacy with motivation of learning mathematics of 0,77 with the p value of 0,000. It has shown that there was a significant relation between self efficacy with motivation of learning mathematics elementary students, the increase of self efficacy, followed by an increase in motivation of learning mathematics 5th grade of elementary school in 6th regional of Kecamatan Tampan, Pekanbaru City.Key Words: self efficacy, motivation of learning mathematics

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the process and improve learning outcomes of students with the application of mathematics learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the class Va Pekanbaru Elementary School 126 School Year 2014/2015 on the Basic Competency Standards Using Fractions in troubleshooting. The subject of this research were 22 students with 11 male students and 11 female students with heterogeneous capabilities. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study was done by using observation and tests. Sheet observations will be analyzed by descriptive narrative that aims to describe the activities of students and teachers during the learning process takes place, while the achievement test will be analyzed with criteria mastery Minimum (KKM) and analysis of average value, to determine whether or not an increase in results learners before and after the application of the learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL). The results show an increase in mathematics learning outcomes Va grade students of SD Negeri 126 Pekanbaru. It also is also seen in the activities of teachers at each petemuan increasingly visible from the average percentage of the first cycle of the first meeting was 70% and at a meeting II to 80% and the percentage of the second cycle of the first meeting were 90% and meeting II to 95%, while average analysis of learning outcomes of students on the basis of scores, daily tests daily tests I and II, where the average value of the study of students at the basic score is 59.0, while the first daily test average value of learning outcomes of students is 63.2 as well as the daily test II, the average value of learning outcomes of students 77.3. From the research, it can be concluded that the application of the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Va grade Elementary School 126 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Learning Application of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Math Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrack : The purpose of this research is to improve learning achievement in natural science on fifth grade students at SDN 22 Pekanbaru on academic year 2014/2015 through “the application of problem solving learning’. This research was conducted on March 2015. Subject of the research is fifth grade students SDN 22 pekanbaru, which contain twenty students. There are 15 boys and 5 girls. Type of the research is collaborative classroom action research (teacher works with Researcher). This research contains two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meeting. Parameter of this research is student’s achievement after action for each cycle (first and second daily test). Instruments of the research contain learning tools (syllabus, RPP, LKS, learning result paper sheet), students and teacher observation sheet. Data will be analyzed descriptively. Average of students learning achievement increased in which the begining students score of students was 64,5 (very poor). It improved into 75,4 (good) in first daily test. In second daily test the score increased to 83,2 (very good). Average of student activity in first cycle is 65% (enought). And it improved to 85% (very good) in second cycle. Average of teacher activity in first cycle is 65% (enought). And it was improved to 87,5% (very good) in second cycle. Based on the data, researcher concludes the application of Problem Solving learning can improve learning achievement in natural science on Fifth grade students at SDN 22 Pekanbaru.Keyword: problem solving learning, learning achievement of natural science .

Abstract

Abstract: The research carried out base on the lowly of the result of mathematic subject in 2nd grade SDN 005 Lenggadai Hilir which is about 55,25 within minimal completeness criterion stated is 65. The subject of this research is 2nd grade students of SDN 005 Lenggadai Hilir which is total of 20 students, consisted of 10 boys and 10 girls. This was a classroom action research which has two cycles which was conducted on March 23rd to April 2nd 2015. The purpose of this research is to improve student’s achievement on mathematics of the 2nd grade student SDN 005 Lenggadai Hilir with the application of inquiry learning method. Instruments for collecting data are teacher’ and students’ observation sheets and test. The data shown that either learning process or students’ achievement increased. This was seen from students’ and teacher’s scores in learning process increased. First cycle at the first meeting teacher’s activity was 66,66% categorized as enough and increased at the second meeting became 79,16% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher’s activity increased as 83,33% categorized as good and at the second meeting it increased became 91,66% categorized as very good. While students activities in learning process also increased. At the first cycle at the first meeting students activities was 62,5% categorized as enough and increased at the second meeting became 75% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of students activities increased as 79,16% categorized as good and at the second meeting it increased became 91,66% categorized as very good. The average of student’ achievement on basic score was 55,25, UH 1 was 64,5 and UH 2 was 78,75. From basic score to UH 1 incresed 16,74%, and from UH 1 to UH 2 increased again became 22,09%. However, the ending of daily examination was 85%. Based on the result it can be concluded that impementation learning through inquiry learning method increased learning process and students’ achievement on mathematic students 2nd grade of SDN 005 Lenggadai Hilir.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Methode, Learning Achievement on Mathematics
