Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that is found in the class V Elementary School 74 Pekanbaru, which shows the result of learning mathematic is still relatively low. The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes of mathematic fifth grade students of SDN 74 Pekanbaru with the application of cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type. The hypothesis of this study is that if applied cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type it can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 74 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the class VB SDN 74 Pekanbaru in March to April , 2016. The subjects were students of class V Elementary School 74 Pekanbaru which amounted to 33 people consisting of 19 men and 14 woman. This form of reseacrh is classroom action reasearch (PTK) are planned as much as two cycles. The data in this research is quantitative derived from the teacher activity sheet, students activity sheet and student learning outcomes data through daily test also. Based on the results of research of teacher activity sheet seen rising each meeting. At the frst meeting of the first cycle of 70%, the second meeting rise 77,5%. In the first meeting of the second cycle of 87,5% then at the second meeting increase to 92,5%. Student activity observation sheet also increased at every meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 67,5%, the second meeting increase to 72,5%. While in the fist meeting of the second cycle of 85%, then at the second meeting increase to 90%. Mathematic learning outcomes has increased from an average value base score to UH I increased by 30.4 % with an average value of UH I 84.69 ( 84.84% complete category ). UH II on the average increased to 86.69 with the percentage increase of 33.51% (90.90% complete category). Abstract

Abstract: This research focuses on understanding the kindergarten teacher education S1 on the evaluation of learning in kindergartens throughout the city districts pekanbaru a foot umbrella. The purpose of this study was to determine teachers understanding tk overview of evaluation. This research was conducted in kindergarten se umbrella of a foot-districts with the number of respondents as many as 44 teachers from 26 kindergartens there. The research is descriptive with quantitative approach with simple random sampling technique. Research results are seen learning evaluation of each indicator which is in the category of "less good". and the percentage perindicatornya: (1) explain (63.63%) (2) provides an example (62.12%) (3) estimate (59.84%) (4) maintain (59.65%) (5) differentiate ( 59.09%) and (6) concludes (56.06%). To enhance teachers understanding of the evaluation of learning, it is recommended to teachers to be given the opportunity to follow the training of early childhood teachers understanding in order to more optimally.Keywords: the understanding of teachers , evaluation of learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the condition of the Elderly Family Development program activities in terms of Hope Elderly Against Elderly Family Development activities in Desa Sungai Selodang Kecamatan Sungai Mandau Kabupaten Siak. The research problems are whether Hope Against Elderly Elderly Family Development activities in Desa Sungai Selodang Kecamatan Sungai Mandau Kabupaten Siak performing well?. The purpose of this study was to determine the Elderly Hope Against Elderly Family Development activities in Desa Sungai Selodang Kecamatan Sungai Mandau Kabupaten Siak. The population in this study were 49 and 20 people for the trials, the technique of sampling techniques used are saturated Sampling Simple as many as 49 people. Instrument of data collection is a questionnaire with 173 statements and after the trial live 160 valid statement to be used as a research instrument. Data analysis through quantitative descriptive analysis. From the calculation of the percentage of responses obtained by the research findings Hope Elderly Of Activity Family Development Elderly in Desa Sungai Selodang Kecamatan Sungai Mandau Kabupaten Siak is very high on indicators of control with the average percentage (SS + S) 97.677%, this means that Bina Family Elderly in Rural Selodang river Mandau Siak river District has not done well so Hope Against Elderly Elderly Family Development activities in Desa Sungai Selodang Kecamatan Sungai Mandau Kabupaten Siak is high.Keywords: Hope, Seniors, Elderly Family Development Program.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based by the problem of grade 5 students in writing.In writing letters students often make a mistake. Some mistake was in writing letterswhich is the procedure of writing capital letters. Students often make a mistake in thebeginning of a sentence, people’s name, important places, job title, and essay’s title.This is the problem that often found in teaching writing at school. This research aims todescribe and analyze the understanding of grade 5 students of SD Negeri 136Pekanbaru in using capital letters. The research method is using descriptivequantitative research methods with subjects all of grade 5 SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaruwith the number of 120 students. The data collection techniques are using test, with aresearch instrument that is the understanding of using capital letters as many as 36questions. Based on the research results, there are 12 students that were in an excellentcategory 10%, 20 students in a good category 16.67%, 40 students in sufficientcategory 33.33%, and 48 students in worse category 40%. Overall, students gainunderstanding of 55.69% with sufficient category. This illustrate that understanding thegrade 5 students of SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru in understanding capital letters issufficient.Key Words: Understanding, capital letters

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the fact that is found in the class VB SDN 13 Pekanbaru, which shows the results of learning of mathematics is still relatively low. Formulation the problem is this research is : “Does the implementation of Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR) model can improving results of learning of mathematics students of SDN 13 Pekanbaru?”. This research aims to improving results of learning of mathematics students of SDN 13 Pekanbaru with implementation Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR) model. The hypothesis of this study is that if the implementation of Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR) model, can improving results of learning of mathematics students of SDN 13 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in SDN 13 Pekanbaru in March 2016. This from is research is classroom action research (PTK) are planned as much as two cycle. The subjects were students of class VB SDN 13 Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016 which amounted to 31 people consisting of 13 men and 18 women. Based on the results of research of teacher activity sheet seen rising each meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 78,85%, the second meeting of the first cycle of 84,62%, at the fourth meeting of the second cycle of 92,31%, and the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 96,15%. Student activity observation sheet also increased at every meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 73,08%, the second meeting of the first cycle of 86,54%, at the fourth meeting of the second cycle of 92,31%, and the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 94,23%. Mastery learning outcomes to repeat at first cycle increased 19,35% from the base score of 38,71% to 58,06%. In the second cycle increased by 25,81% to 83,87%. The average value in the base score 60,48, UH then the first cycle to 68,87 with an increase of 13,87%. Where as the second cycle of the average value of UH becomes 80,16 with an increase of 32,54%. Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the low results obtained by the social studies students. Researchers speculate that one contributing factor is the lack of interest of the students towards social studies, and the assumption that social studies is a boring subject. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship of class IV student interest Cluster III Elementary School District of Rumbai, Pekanbaru learning outcomes social science. This research is expected to provide benefits as a description of the relationship between interest in learning outcomes and how much influence exerted by these interests. In this study, the research is a Cluster III State Elementary School District of Rumbai, Pekanbaru in class IV. As in this study, researchers used a descriptive quantitative study aimed to describe and create a picture of the relationship between interest in learning with student learning outcomes. In the implementation of this research instrument used is the questionnaire technique. The study population numbered 340 students, of the total population of the research samples taken as many as 102 students. Results from these studies it is known that there is a relationship between interest in learning with learning outcomes in which the correlation coefficient of 0.241. 0,241  0. Ha accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between the variables x (interest in learning) with variable y (learning) with a low degree of relationship between variables. For significance, showing that the obtained thitung ttable 2.479 and 1.984. If thitung ≥ ttable, 2.479 ≥ 1.984 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant relationship between interest in learning with student learning outcomes. Interest in learning gives the relationship of 5.8% and 94.2% by other factors beyond the variables used. Therefore the authors submit suggestions, which are expected in implementing teacher learning is able to generate interest in learning the lesson it with a variety of ways, both the methods used, techniques vary, and others.Key Words: interest learn, result of learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by lack of the students mathematics learning outcomes, with an average of 69.41 and KKM school that has been determined is 72. This form of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes grade fifth students at 018 primary school Sungai Keranji through the implementation of project-based learning model, implemented in the second semester at year of 2015/2016, with as many as 34 students research subject. The research instrument consisted of learning the instrument and data collection instruments. Data collection techniques were used that technique teacher and student activity observation, test engineering and technical documentation. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of teacher and student activity data and analysis of student learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using simple statistical test. After using project based learning model, there was an improvement both on teacher and student’s activity and also the mathematics learning outcomes. Activities teachers in the first cycle of 72.5% with enough categories increased in the second cycle becomes 82.5% in good categories. Activities of students in the first cycle was 72.5% with enough categories increased in the second cycle to 85% in good categories. Percentage completeness of learning outcomes in basic math score of 52.94% with an average of 69.41 increased in the first cycle of 82.35% with an average of 75.61 in the second cycle increased to 88.23% with an average of 84, 91 . improving student learning outcomes from basic score to UH I amounted to 8.93%, while improving student learning outcomes from basic score to UH II amounted to 22.83% .This shows that the implementation of a project based learning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes grade fifth students at 018 primary school Sungai Keranji.Keywords: project based learning model, Mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: One of factor that influence low capacity of determining the intrinsic elements of the short story is during the learning process of students is less interaction and difficult to understand the subject matter. That’s why the author need to did the research by sociodrama method. The learning method is capable of making active students in developing science and involve the students as a whole, provide the opportunity for students to acquire and understand knowledge directly, as well as the learning process becomes memorable and long lasting in the minds of students so as to improve the ability of determining intrinsic elements short story. The main objective of this study is to determine how much influence sociodrama method to the abality of determining intrinsic elements short storystudents at class V of SD Negeri 184 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted SDN 184 Pekanbaru in class Vb as the control class and class Va as the experimental class using randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the results of Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with significance level α = 0.05, pvalue (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) 0.024 <0.05. The results this study is application sociodrama method significantly the abality of determining intrinsic elements short story than use of conventional method.The effect sociodrama method the abality of determining intrinsic elements short story is 55% while 45% are influenced by other factors.Keywords: Sociodrama method, the abality of determining intrinsic elements short story.

Abstract

Abstrak : This research is motivated by the lack of the students learning outcome in Mathematics. It is indicated by the students’ mean score (68.33). Form 24 students, there are only 10 students (41.67%) who can reach score above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) and 14 students (58.33%) are still in beneath average score. The score of the minimum mastery criteria (KKM) which is decided is 70. Based on the fact, the researcher tried to use a classroom action research by apply the pair check method. The aim of the research is to increase the learning outcome in Mathematics of students grade IV of SDN 02 Bandar Sungai , Sabak Auh Subdistrict, Siak regency in school year 2015 / 2016. the population is all students of the fourth grade as many as 24 students who consist of 10 male students and 14 female students. The research is conducted as many as three cycles. The cycle I consists of three meetings; two of them are learning processes and the last meeting is final test of the cycle. Cycle II consists of two meetings; one of them is learning process and the last meeting is final test of the cycle. Cycle II consists of three meetings; two of them are learning processes and the last meeting is final test of the cycle. The application of the pair check method can increase the students learning outcome in Mathematics. It is shown by the percentage of the students who reach score above of the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) increase from 41.67% and the mean score is 68.33 to 70.83% and the mean score is 72.08% in the cycle I. It increases again in cycle II become 91.66% and the mean score is 80. There is also an increasing in the percentage of teacher’s activity. It is shown by the percentage of teacher’s activity from 79.15% in cycle I to 97.90% in cycle II. The percentage of students’ activity is also increase from 70.80% in cycle I to 95.80% in cycle II. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the application of the pair check method can increase the students learning outcome in Mathematics of students of grade IV SDN 02 Bandar Sungai, Sabak Auh subdistrict, Siak regency.Keywords: pair check method, learning outcome in Mathematics

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the lack of IPS student learning outcomes, it is seen in the he problem in this research is the lack of IPS student learning outcomes, it is seen in the value of students who reached the KKM (Minimum Criteria for completeness), only 14 (40%) of 35 students. While KKM specified school is 70, meaning many students who have not reached the KKM is 21 people (60%). Based on these problems need to be done to implement the action research Auditory Learning Model, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR). In the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of activity the teachers gained 83.3% in both categories, at the second meeting of the percentage increased to 87.5% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle the percentage increased to 91.6% with very good category, at the second meeting of the percentage increased to 95.8% with very good category. Activities of students has increased, in the first cycle of the first meeting of the percentage of the student activity gained 79.1% in both categories, at the second meeting of the percentage increased to 83.3% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle the percentage increased to 87.5% with very good category, and at the second meeting of the percentage increased to 91.6% with very good category.Average students achievement in before application is 64 increased to 74,3 in the first cycle, and increasing again to 91,2 in the second cycle. While the classical completeness in the first cycle and the second cycle is reached. This means that the Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition (AIR) implementation can increase students achievement at IPS in fourth graderes SD Negeri 032 Kualu.Key Words: Model Auditory Intellectualy Repetition (AIR), IPS achievement
