Abstract

Abstrak: This research is motivated phenomenon are still many students who are not able to carry out their work independently, such as making the bed individually, to prepare for school, set up a schedule of study and prayer. Independent attitude is very necessary is grown on each students themselves. The problem of this study is How Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. No matter the purpose of this study was to determine the Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. The population in this study was 26 caretakers and 1,513 children in foster care. While the sampling technique in this research is total sampling techniques and sample proportional. Data collection techniques by observation, using a questionnaire, Interview, and documentation. In analyzing the data this study uses quantitative data analysis techniques. These results indicate that the Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City in the category GOOD with 42.32% and the percentage of category LESS WELL with the percentage of 57.68%. Then the hypothesis are accepted. Key Words: Values, Character, Independent .

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the students motivation learning with implementation playing answers cooperative learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with non-equivalent control group design. The subject of this research are students class VII at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru, total of 72 students as divide into two group, experimental group and control group. The data in this research is a score of leraning motivation pree and post of treatment by implementation of playing answers cooperative learning model, analysis of the data uses descriptive and inferential analysis. Then, reference to the improvement of the students learning motivation by normalized gain (gain-N). The result of this research, score motivation of students at experimental class in high category and increase in the middle category with N-Gain 0,3, and the control class in the low category with N-Gain 0,1. While the results of inferential analysis showed a significant difference in motivation learning between experimental class and control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model playing answers able to improve the motivation in physics science study of students at class VII SMPN 34 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Learning, Playing Answers, Motivation.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is (1) to know the history of the origin of the tradition of Pacu Jawi in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (2) to know how the implementation of Pacu Jawi tradition in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (3) to know the function of Pacu Jawi tradition for the community in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (4) to know the values that are contained in the tradition of Pacu Jawi in Sungai Tarab Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience (5)to know the shifts that occur in the tradisional of Pacu Jawi in Subdistrict Tanah Datar Regency of west Sumatera Provience. This research use descriptive method with qualitative approaches which will give complete information that can useful to science. The result of this research show that the Pacu Jawi is a tradition which had already been passed down from ancestor since hundreds of years ago that is still maintained until now. Pacu Jawi has a function and contains the values for the life of the community.Key words: Pacu Jawi, Tradition

Abstract

Abstrack: The background of this study is students low mathematice achievement of X grade at SMK Kesehatan pro-skill Indonesia. This research conducted in second semester of academic years 2016/2017. The aimed of study is to find out whether there is significant effect of using “Kancing Gemerincing” as a technique in cooperative learning (STAD) toward mathematice achievements of students grade X at SMK Kesehatan pro-skill Indonesia. The study employed the pre-experimental research focus on post-test in control group design. The sampling of technique was purposive. There were two sampling in this study; the experimental class was using “kancing gemerincing” as a technique and the control class with conventional learning. The instruments in this research are the results of students test and the observation sheet of teacher and students activities. The finding of this research showed experimental class better than control class. So, it can be concluded there was effect of using “kancing gemerincing” as a technique in cooperative learning (STAD) toward mathematice achievements of students grade X at SMK Kesehatan pro-skill Indonesia.Key Word : The result of mathematical, “Kancing Gemerincing” as a technique,cooperative learning (STAD), pre-experimental research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to describe the level of sains generic skill at the second year students of MIA program of SMA 8 Pekanbaru toward student’s competency of calor material and it’s movement. This research was a survey research. The result of the data analysis used descriptive analysis which described the level of student’s sains generic skill. The subject of this research was 76 students of MIA program at the second year. The data gotten from this research was in average percentages of the student’s level of sains generic skill in solving the physics phenomenon. This instrument was developed based on the indicators of sains generic skill. Then, the data was categorized based on the level of sains generic skill category namely directly observation, non-directly observation, language symbolic, logical inference, cause effect relationship, modeling of math, awareness of big scale, and concept construction. Based on the data analysis showed that the average percentages of each indicators as follows: 75,72% for directly observation, 47,07 % for non-directly observation, 69,01 % for language symbolic, 78,91 % for logical inference, 68,13 % for cause effect relationship, 69,54 % for modeling of math, 58,49 % for awareness of big scale, and 65,07 % for concept construction. The overall percentages of the students’ generic sains skill was 67,16% categorized into high level. The highest percentage was 72, 37 % and the lowest percentage was 27,63%.Key words: Sains generic skill, Solving problem, Logical thinking.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity sheet on reaction rate subject. This research was a reseach and development (R & D) with the 4-D model that comprise of Definition, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. It was only to developed phase and limited tryout. The research was located in FKIP Riau University. The students’ activity sheet were used as research objects based on discovery learning. The research was analyzed by descriptive statistic, that calculated by percentage of validation value. The average of four aspects of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as properness of the content, languages, course and graphical were 90,50%,, 86,67%, 89,50%, and 93,75%, respectively. So, the average totality of student’s activity sheet based on the discovery learning was 90,37% that means valid criteria, the LKPD Developed was proper to use. In addition, the percentage of students response on LKPD was 90% with very good criteria.Keywords: Student Activity Sheet, Discovery Learning, and Reaction Rate.

Abstract

Abstract : The problem this research is the student achievement of social studies fifth graderes SDN 16 Kuala Penaso still low with an average value of 55,25 and minimum completenness criteria (KKM) social studies is 65. Between students, amounting to 30 people only 10 students who achieve classical KKM with 33,33%. This research is Classroom action Research (CAR), wich aims to improve the learning process in the classroom. Formulation of the problem : is the implementation of cooperative learning model type kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve students achievment of social studies at SDN 16 Kuala Penaso. The research was conducted on march 11, 2015 to march 20, 2015by 2 cyclees. Subjects were students of SDN 16 Kuala Penaso, totalling 30 people who use the data source. The data collection instruments in this research is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. Based on the conduct of research with the implementation of learning models obtained results koopertif STAD type of activity the teacher in the lerning process in cycle I frist meeting was 66,66% and at the second meeting of teacher activity increased by 12,5% to 79,16%. cycle II firs meeting and the second meeting of activity increased by 4,17% to 83,33% and the second meeting of activity increased by 7,83% to 91,16%. Result of data analysis of students activities in the first meeting cycle with the first meeting of an avarage of 62,5% and at second meeting of activity increased 12,5% to 75% and a second meeting of activity increased 16,7% improve to 87,5%. At the firs meeting of the second meeting of activity increased 7,5% to 95%. This research presents the results obtained each before the implementation an improve in base score sycle with the average being, 58. In the first cycle improve an average of 73,33 with increase as 27,29% and an impove in the second with an average of 86,66 with increase as 40,22%. Result in the research that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve students achievement of social Studies at fifth graderes SDN 16 Kuala Penaso.Key Words : Model Learning Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Fave graderes students Achievement

Abstract

Abstract. Based on preliminary observations in SDN 003 Belimbing Kecamatan Batang Gansal Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Found the problems in learning class IV. Teacher deliver the subjed matter only uses one method, The teacher is not able to create on atmospher thet allows students to learn creatively, in the learning process does not involve students and teacher only centered on the teacher allone, students are not active in learning, many students play in learning, students fear asked, the student were not involved. So the impact on students learning outcomes are sttil relatively low and does not meet the standar KKM 65. This type of research is classroom action research with two cycles, each cyles there are four meetings.The subjed this study is fouth grade students of SDN 003 Belimbing Kecamatan Batang Gansal Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, consisting of 30 students, 10 male students and 20 female students.The data collection technigues from this study is the observation achievement test, and documentation.The results showed the activity of teacher in the first cycle to abtain a score of 11 in the first meeting with less category and a score of 13 in the second meeting with enough category in the second cycle scored 16 in the first meeting with well category and a score of 23 in the second meeting with a good category. Students activity on first cycle abtain a score of 11 category 1 less at a score of 13 meeting, and a score of 13category is guite at the meeting 2 in the second cycle increased by a score of 16 categories either at a meeting of 23 category 1 and score very well on the second meeting.Mastery learning classical first cycle 15,70% and the second cycle inreased to 100%.The conclusion of this study is through the implementation of cooperatif learning model type STAD can increase the activity of the teacher, student activities, and student learning outcomes SDN 003 Belimbing fourth grade in science subjects.Key words: Cooperative Learning Model STAD, Learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discuss about the effectiveness of think pair share technique in increasing the mastery of Japanese vocabulary for XI IPS 1 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study to determine whether the technique of think pair share effective to improve mastery of Japanese vocabulary class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. In this study, the writer used a weak experimental research design with marked by the absence of class comparison. The technique of collecting data by giving a test. The test results on pretest and posttest are increase, on pretest the students'average score is 66,5 whereas on posttest is 83. The test results are processed using statistical t-test manually to find out how much significant level of students learning outcomes when using the think pair share technique. Based on statistical test data processing found to = 7.78 and tt = 2.85 (5% significant level), to tt then H0 rejected and Ha accepted, it means that significant influence on the effectiveness of think pair share technique in increasing the mastery of Japanese vocabulary class XI IPS 1 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Learning Vocabulary, Technique Think Pair Share, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN 035 Sekeladi Tanah Putih by the number of students sebanya 20 students. This study was conducted with two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with 1 time daily tests. Instrument of data collection in this study is the observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet and achievement test. The results of the data analysis activities of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting of the 65.63% increase to 68.75%. In the second cycle the first meeting and the second meeting 78.13% increase to 86.00%. Furthermore, the results of data analysis activities of students in the first cycle the first meeting and the second meeting 67.50% increase to 72.50%. In the second cycle the first meeting and the second meeting of the 77.50% increase to 84.00%. From the results of this study showed that student learning has increased average student learning outcomes in basic score is 69.75 increased in the first cycle to 79.50 increase again in the second cycle 80.75. To complete learn the basic score is 9 people (45%) increased in the first cycle to 17 people (85%) and increased again in the second cycle to 19 people (95%).It can be concluded that applied Model Cooperative Learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN 035 Sekeladi Tanah Putih.Key Words: Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), learning outcomes IPS
