Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is to see how the effect of interval training on smash results in PB badminton athletes PB ASSHOFA. It is known that athletes have the ability to play badminton less well, especially in doing smashes. This can be seen from the way students do smashes, punch techniques are still less sharp and directed. The elasticity of the athlete's waist is also still less visible than the student's body posture is still tense and less flexible. Coordination of the athlete's motion is still not good, thus reducing the punch result, this cause is caused by a lack of training methods to improve the quality of smash blows. The basic techniques in badminton are grip, footwork, service, under hand, over head, dropshot, netting. This type of research is an experiment. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of interval training on smash results in PB Asshofa Pekanbaru badminton. The population in this research amounted to 17 people. The sampling technique is the sample aims (purposive sampling) so that a sample of 8 athletes from PB Asshofa Pekanbaru was obtained. The instrument carried out in this research is a forehand smash test, which aims to measure smash punch ability. After that, the data was processed with statistics to test the normality with the Liliefors test at a significant level of 0.05. The hypothesis proposed is the effect of interval punch training on smash results. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded as follows, that there is the effect of interval training on the smash results on PB ASSHOFA Pekanbaru because, where t test analysis is obtained, the results of t count are 27.40 and t table is 1.860, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.Key Words: punch interval training, smash

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to find out what type of motivation that first semester students of English Study Program FKIP UR have in learning English. This is a descriptive research that has only one variable applied. In conducting this research, there was 1 class selected with total sample is 40 students, using clustering sampling technique. A set of questionnaire was used to collect the data adapted from AMTB (Attitude/Motivation Test Battery) designed by Gardner (1985). The result of the students’ questionnaire responses shows a percentage score of 97.5% for intrinsic motivation and 92.5% for extrinsic motivation indicating that the students are motivated by their internal and external desire. The results show that they study English because they want to improve their English language skills and also want to use their English for their career.Key Words: Motivation, Learning English

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research aims at increasing Biology learning activities and outcomes in cognitive class XI science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru through the Application of Numbered Head Cooperative Learning Model Together (NHT) is assisted by fortune wheel props. The subject of this study was students of class XI Science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 19 students, all of whom were male. Student learning activity data was obtained from the observation activity learning sheet assessed by the observer. Biology learning outcomes in the cognitive domain are seen from the absorption and completeness of learning. The results of this study indicate that student learning activities increased by a percentage of 80.26 (sufficient category) in the first cycle and increased to 87.9 (good category) in cycle II. The absorption of students also increased from cycle I to cycle II from 79.95 (enough category) to 86.95 (good category). Student completeness increased from cycle I to cycle II, with completeness percentage 78.95% (enough category) to 100% (very good category). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Application of the Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) assisted by the Wheel of Fortune Props can improve the activities and learning outcomes of Biology in the cognitive domain of class XI Science 3 Darul Hikmah Islamic Senior High School Pekanbaru.Key Words: NHT Type Learning Model, Wheel of Luck, Learning Activities, Cognitive learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to develop and determine the feasibility of modules based on learning model of pemaknaan on the topic of periodic system of elements. This research method is research development (Research and Development) using a 4-D model that include phase of Define, Design, Development, Desseminate. Instruments that used in this research are validation sheets and respons of teacher and students sheet.. The module validation component includes aspects of content feasibility, language feasibility, presentation feasibility, graphic feasibility and pemaknaan aspects. The result of this research development show that module based on learning model of pemaknaan developed valid with the average score of module validation results by the validator team were 90.28% for content aspect, 93.33% for language aspect, 88.33% for presentation aspect, 87.5% for graphic aspect and 91.67% for pemaknaan aspect. The result of respons teacher and student of MAS Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru and SMAN 4 Pekanbaru about module in a row 86,54% and 97,88% with very good criteria.Keyword : Meaning Based Learning Modules, Periodic System Of Elements

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the feasibility level of learning books according to the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) and the scientific literacy level of class XII biology learning books based on 4 dimensions, namely science as a body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science as a way of investigation and science and its interactions with technology and society. This study uses a quantitative approach with the content analysis method. The sample in this study was the biology learning book for class XII by Irnaningtyas in the 2013 curriculum which was chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained from the results of book feasibility and the level of scientific literacy by using book feasibility instruments according to the BSNP and a sheet of scientific literacy level analysis based on 4 dimensions. Stages of analysis were divided into 2 stages, namely the stage of book feasibility analysis and analysis of the level of scientific literacy of biology learning books. The data analysis was using descriptive statistical methods. The results of the data analysis show that the level of feasibility in the analyzed learning book has been declared feasible according to BSNP. At the level of scientific literacy, only the scientific dimension as a body of knowledge gets a good category. The results of this study can be used as material in the development of learning books based on the content of 4 dimensions of scientific literacy in balanced proportions. Abstract

Abstract: The Ratif Saman ritual is the tradition of the village net (village), the people of Resun Village, is a traditional ritual that is carried out to clean the village from disturbances of spirits and bad people who intend to disturb the village. The purpose of this study is (1) To find out a brief history Ratif Ritual Saman Community Resun Village North Lingga District Lingga Regency Riau Islands Province. (2) To find out the process of the Saman Ratif Ritual of Resun Village, North Lingga District, Riau Islands Regency. (3) To find out the changes that occurred in the Ratif Saman Ritual in Resun Village, North Lingga District, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Qualitative method is a method that does not use numbers in data collection and in providing interpretation of the results. The results of the general research that the authors wrote ratif saman rituals in the resun village communities are carried out depending on the condition of how many calamities, but at this time it is rare to do this ritual.Key Words: Ratif Saman, Tradition, Resun Village

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve of learning process and to improve mathematics achievement with applied the learning Search Solve Create Share (SSCS) model. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject is student of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota in academic years 2018/2019, which total to 31 students. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitatively, while the students Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitatively. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process after to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and active in learning process, they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score (25,81%) to the first test (48,39%) to the second test (74,19%). For the achievement of score the first test (41,93%) to the second test (87,09%). Results of this research indicates that application of the learning SSCS model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement of the students at class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter linear programming and matrix.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Search Solve Create Share (SSCS)

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine how much influence classroom management has on the concentrtion of student learning in IPS learning at SMP 35 Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using simpel linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. Sampling techniques proportionate random sampling with a total sample of 143 students. The results of this study indicate that class management is in the good categor, while the learning concentration of students includes a fairly good category. From the test results it can be seen that calssroom management has a positive and significant effect on student learning concentration. Meaning if the management of the class is good then the concentration of student learning will be good too.Key Words: Class Management, Concentration Of Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of study discipline and student allowance on the learning achievement of X MIA students on economic subjects at As-Shofa Islamic High School Pekanbaru. this research was conducted at As-Shofa Pekanbaru Islamic High School class X MIA on Economics subjects. The study was conducted in October 2018 to January 2019. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study is class X MIA I and X MIA II at As-Shofa Islamic High School Pekanbaru academic year 2018/2019. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA as many as 55 students, because the population was less than 100 people, all of them were used as samples, so the sample in this study was 55 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the learning discipline has a positive effect on student learning achievement, which is equal to 0.117. Pocket money has a negative effect on student learning achievement which is equal to 0,0007235.Keywords: Learning Discipline, Educational Pocket Money, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to examine the influence of Problem Based Learning model on social studies learning outcomes in State Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019. This study uses quasi-experimental methods (quasi experiment). The population of this study was the seventh grade students of Pekanbaru State Junior High School 13 which consisted of ten classes with a total of 277 students. The number of samples of this study is one class, namely class VII 2 as many as 31 students obtained by class sample techniques. Data collection uses observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis used is the Paired Samples Test. The results of data analysis showed that there were significant differences in the average value of the class given the treatment of the Problem Based Learning model and the class given the lecture method treatment, where the experimental class was higher than the control class. So that it can be concluded the learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model influences student learning outcomes on social studies subjects. In this study there are several suggestions put forward by the researcher, namely to the teacher that the teacher should multiply the variety of learning models used, so that it fits between the learning model and the subject matter. To Researchers Furthermore, research using Problem Based Learning learning models for other researchers is expected to examine students' interest in learning or motivation in learning by using the learning model.Key Words: Problem based learning, learning outcomes, social studies at junior high school
