Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled Nilai-Nilai Budaya dalam Novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi by Boy Candra. The aim of this study is to describe the cultural value in novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi by Boy Candra. The types of this research is qualitative descriptive research that trying to solve the problem based on existing data. Based on this research was found 70 data of cultural value, (a) human and loves 12 data, (b) human and beauty 10 data, (c) human and pain 15 data, (d) human and justice 2 data, (e) human and a view of life, (f) human and responsibility and devotion 11 data, (g) human and nerves 13 data, (h) human and hope 10 data.Keyword: Cultural value, novel Pada Senja yang Membawamu Pergi

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the initial description obtained from observations at the research location in TK Nurul Huda, Bukit Raya Sub-District, several problems were found: some children were still confused if the child mentioned number 4 but the number 5 was indicated, when the teacher wrote 1-10 on the board and ask the child to answer and point to the number 7 on the board, only a few children are able to answer and point to the number, when the child is asked by the teacher to connect the symbol according to the number symbol on the child worksheet, there are still many children who are wrong in connecting it.This study aims to determine the effect of the game Bingo Numbers on the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers of children aged 4-5 years in TK Nurul Huda, Bukit Raya City, Pekanbaru. This study used an experimental method with the design of the pretest posttest control research group design. The population in this study were children aged 4-5 years totaling 40 children and the sample used was 40 children divided into two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The data collection techniques used are observation. Data analysis techniques use the t-test. The results of this research hypothesis test obtained t = 18,689 with sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0,05 which means that there is an influence of the ability to recognize a very significant number symbol after using the Bingo Numbers game during the learning process. Effect of Bingo games Numbers on the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years in TK Nurul Huda, Bukit Raya City, Pekanbaru, amounting to 45% included in the medium category.Keywords: Number Symbol, Bingo Number

Abstract

Abstract: The research background was related to the lack of motivation to learn PPKn on 8th grade students at SMPN 18 Senapelan Pekanbaru kecamatan senapelan kota Pekanbaru. The problem formulation is: “is there any effect on the use of hide and seek learning model toward students’ learning motivation?”. This study aims to determine the effect of hide and seek learning model upon learners’ motivation. Using experimental research with descriptive-qualitative approach, the sample was taken based on the "Random Sampling" technique. VIII D class as an experimental class were applied hide and seek learning model, while VIII A as the control class which used conventional methods. Homogeneity test, t-test and gain test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a difference percentage on students’ motivation level between two classes (tcount=39,48> ttable=1,99). The average learning motivation on experimental class was from 21.42 to 27.22 while the average learning motivation of PPKn in the control class was from 21.97 to 22.66. With contributions as much as 0.5 included in the category of "medium", thus there is an effect of using hide and seek learning model and conventional learning model towards student’s learning motivation to learn PPKn in SMP 18 Senapelan, Pekanbaru .Keywords: Hide and Seek, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract : This research was carried out because still of the low social studies learning outcomes of students in a class V elementary school Babussalam Pekanbaru which were caused by teachers not yet using strategies that matched the characteristics of students and learning material. For that, researchers fix student learning outcomes by implementing a strategy Quick On The Draw . The form of this research is PTK which was conducted as much in two cycles. The research time date 7 to 22 May 2018 is located in Babussalam Elementary School with the number of students is 21 people. From the results of data analysis, there was an increase in teacher activity from cycle one by 67.43% with sufficient categories increasing to 96.29% with excellent categories. Student activities also experienced an increase from cycle one by 62.96% with a sufficient category then increasing to 96.29% with a very good category. Increased teacher and student activities have an impact on student learning outcomes which also increase from a base score of by 67.43 increasing to 82.67 with an increase in precentage of 22.60%. Based on data analysis, it is proven that if a Quick On The Draw strategy applied can improve student social studies learning outcomes.Keywords : Quick On The Draw Strategy, Social Studies Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is based on the low motivation of learning  PPKn of the students at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there any significant effect of using Expert coat learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru ?". This study aims to determine the effect of using Expert coat learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru in August 2018. This research was a quantitative descriptive which is experimental research which the students of grade VII SMPN 40 Pekanbaru became the population in this study. The sample in this research was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. Where the class taken into the sample was students of class VII C (experimental class) given the learning model of Expert coat, and class VII D (control class) were students who were given the conventional method. Then data analysis by using homogeneity test and "t" test. Based on the result of research indicated that there was an effect of learning motivation between student who using Expert coat learning model and conventional method in SMPN 40 Pekanbaru (  > ). Where there was an average increase to motivation in learning PPKn of experimental class  from 20,23 to 22,23 and the average of PPKn learning motivation of control class from 16,07 to 19,13. Thus the hypothesis which reads that there is an effect of using Expert coat learning model to students’ motivation in learning PPKn at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru, can be accepted. Keywords: Expert Coat, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to know the grammatical errors made by the third years of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru the academic year 2018/2019 in writing recount text. Descriptive method was employed in this research with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The selected sample was XII MIA 5 students which consisted of 28 students. The sample was selected by using random sampling technique. The research findings provided the most common types of errors made by the students was error of selection with the number of errors was 323 or 78,00%. Moreover, it was followed by error of omission with the number of errors was 48 or 11,60%, and errors in addition and ordering fewer than 6%. Error of additon with the number of errors was 24 or 5,80% errors and errors of misordering with the number of errors was 19 or 4.60%. The errors performed by the students of SMA 1 Pekanbaru were caused by the influence of the first language and the second languageKeywords: Error Analysis, SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, Omission, Addition, Misordering, Selection.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of parents job and achievements of craft learning and entrepreneurship on the interest of entrepreneurship in students of SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Provinsi Riau. Population in this study were students of class XII that is as many as 159 students and sample of 114 students with a simple random sampling technique. The data collection of this research is documentation techniques. Data analysis used multiple regression linier. The result of this research is the parents job has no effect on significantly to interest of enterpreneurship which obtained tcount -0,106 < ttable 1,658 and significant value 0,000 < 0,05. Craft enterpreneurial learning achievement significantly effect to interest of enterpreneurship which obtained tcount 2,676 > ttable 1,658 and significant value 0,000 < 0,05. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between parents job and craft enterpreneurial learning achievement where obtained value fcount 3,586 > ftable 3,08 and significant value 0,000 < 0,05.multiple linier regression equation obtained in this research is Y = 26,075 – 0,110x1 + 0,274x2. Seen from the calculating 0f R2 (R square change) obtained value of 0,061. This mean that the contribution of the influence of parents job and craft enterpreneurial learning achievement is 6,1%, over 93,9% influenced by other variable outside this research.Keywords: Parents Job, achievements, craft entrepreneurial learning,interest of entrepreneurship

Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to determine the level of scientific attitude graders VIII5SMPN 21 pekanbaru with the approach of scientific rendering uses experimental methods on learning subject matter light in the lesson 2013/2014.This type of research is research pre-experimental design in the shape of One-Shot Case Study. Data is collected thatquestionnaire of scientific attitude after the close of students learning to the matter light. A descriptive analysis of the results, obtained an average score of scientific attitude of 37 students of 3,87. It showed that scientific attitude student with the approach of scientific rendering uses experimental methods class VIII5 SMPN 21 pekanbaru having high category.Key words : scientific approach, experimental method, scientific.

Abstract

Abstract : The phenomenon in schools today, both in public schools and private schools, many children fill their free time by smoking. Nowadays smoking behavior is a behavior that has been commonly encountered. Smokers come from various social classes, different statuses and various age groups. This might be because cigarettes can be easily obtained and obtained anywhere. The objectives of this study are: To find out the description of social relationships of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. To find out an overview of the confidence of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. To find out the relationship between social relations and self-confidence of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. Time of study in May 2018 in the 2017/2018 school year. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to 74 students. The study sample was 22 students. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: communication and social contact (social contact) have a big contribution in supporting the social relations of students who smoke. various aspects support the improvement of self-confidence of students who smoke such as mental and physical conditions, adaptation and communication, family education background, life experience, etc. have a big contribution in supporting their self-confidence.Keywords: smoking, social interaction, self confidence.

Abstract

Abstract: Ethnic is a community that displays language equation, customs, habit, region dan history characterized by the inner bond of its members. Chinese ethnicity is an individual who sees himself as a “Chinese” or is considered so by his environment ethnic Chinese originated from a region of China called Hokkien and then they became immigrants in a area in a area called Thailand and eventually the immgrants found Selatpanjang close to Singapore and Malaysia and settled there. The purpose of this research is (a) to find out about the entry of Chinese ethnic to Selatpanjang (b) to know the factors of ethnic Chinese arrival to Selatpanjang (c) to know the cultural mixing of Chinese society with local community in Selatpanjang (d) to know the response of local people about the existence ethnic Chinese in Selatpanjang. This research method is descriptive qualitative research procedurs that produce descriptive data in the form or written or oral words and behavior from people .That can be seen through the existence of temple Hoo Ann Kiong.Keywords: Ethnic Chinese, Selatpanjang
