Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Bangko Bagansiapiapi Rokan Hilir Regency. The goal is to determine the effect of school library utilization on student achievement. The population in this research is 289 students and the sample is the students of class X and XI IPS of 74 students taken with Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique is done through questionnaires and documentation techniques. Further data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed that the variable utilization of school libraries have an effect on student achievement variable with significance 0,001. To improve the learning achievement, students should improve the utilization of school libraries. For schools, to improve the use of school libraries need to add library materials such as reference books, enrichment books, journals, and textbooks so that learners can find a source of reference.Keywords: School Library Utilization, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research was about the use of card games or dominoes as chemo-edutainment media. The developed research was applied to improve students learning result on the subject of atomic structure and periodic system of elements in class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. This research is quasi experiment with the randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Technique of taking sample using the cluster random sampling. The used samples were XI IPA2 as experiment class and XI IPA4 as control class, that the class determined randomly after testing normality and homogeneity. The experiment class was given treatment using card games or dominoes as chemo-edutainment media, whilst the control class was not given treatment. The analysis of data was used t-test. The results demonstrated that the data was found tscore > ttable (11,07 > 1,66). This showed that the use of card games or dominoes as chemo-edutainment media could significantly improve the students learning result on the subject of atomic structure and periodic system of elements in class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Card games or dominoes as chemo-edutainment media, Learning Result, atomic structure and periodic system of elements

Abstract

Abstract: Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. The objective of this study was to develop a workbook of Technological Knowledge (TK) for Stregthening Natural Science Teacher Competencies. The book was developed from essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test. Design, develop, simulation and validation of workbook by internal validator conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education FKIP University of Riau. External validation by experts, pilot test and user response of the workbook in MGMP IPA Pekanbaru. Workbooks validated on four aspects of the Technological Knowledge include format, content, illustrations and language. Validated workbook will be disseminate after revised. The workbook can be used as a learning resource by the teachers to improve technology competencies and teaching and learning process.Keywords: Natural Science Teacher, Technological Knowledge, Workbook

Abstract

Abstrack: The study was carried on because of the low grade science students learning outcomes SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu which has not reached the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) set is 70. The problem of this research is "Does the application of cooperative learning model think Pair Share (TPS) can Improve Learning Outcomes science Student Class V SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu? ". The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students at SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu to implement cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The hypothesis of this study is If implemented cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS), it can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. This research was done in class V SDN 010 Sialang Makmur in the 2nd half the Academic Year 2015-2016 at the time the study began on April 6, 2016 until April 25, 2016. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study were students of class V SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu beehive with the number of students 16 people, 10 men and 6 women. Based on the results of the research activity sheet teacher, student activity sheets and student learning outcomes are seen rising on each cycle. In the first cycle of teacher activity with an average percentage of 72.91% persiklus increased to 91.66% in the second cycle. Activities of students in the first cycle of the first with an average percentage of 70.83% persiklus increased to 87.49% in the second cycle. Increase student learning outcomes of basic score is the percentage of completeness 37.5%, with an average of 63.75, an increase in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness of 62.5% with an average of 70.31 and a percentage increase of 9.33%. Increased again in the second cycle is the percentage of completeness of 87.5% with an average of 78.12 and a percentage increase of 18.39%. So the results of this study in accordance with the hypothesis of action.                                  Keywords: cooperative learning, Think Pair Share, IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract: Application of Cooperative Learning Model Group Investigation (GI) in the Learning science aimed at translating the abstract more concrete material, so the material can be conveyed and students absarak Sakan understand and enable the understanding will be stored in the memory of students. This research aims to design programs of learning programs with the application of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) so that it can improve student learning outcomes, especially the subject of the motion of objects. the implementation of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation to improve learning outcomes IPA third grade students of SDN. 009 Kampung Dalam Kacamatan Sungai Apit. This data was obtained from the data class act. With the formulation of the problem "Is learning model application koopertif group investigation IPA can improve learning outcomes of students on the subject of the motion of objects of class III SDN. 009 Kampung Dalam Kacamatan Sungai Apit ''. explained that the first meeting of the first cycle of the score obtained from the activity of the teacher is the first meeting of the percentage gain of 66.6% and a meeting kedua75% with good category. Meanwhile, the first meeting of the second cycle of activity the teachers gained 91.66% and 95.8% the second meeting. Activities of students from the first cycle to the second cycle increased from 64% to 81.2% in the category both in the second cycle. An increase of 17.2%. Data in the form of class action replay test students' understanding on the first cycle at 64% and 81.2% silkus II besides an increase of 52.17%. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Group Investigation, learning outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematic achievement through the implementation of cooperative learning model of numbered heads together. The research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade X MA Muhammadiyah BerTI Pekanbaru in the even semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 22 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. The result of the research show that the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematic achievement has improved after applying the cooperative learning model of numbered heads together. The learning result in the first cycle found that the percentage of student who achieve KKM is 59,1 and the second cycle was 77,3%  which increased the percentage of prior actions that only 45,5%. Therefore, The cooperative learning model of numbered heads together can be used as an alternative in learning.                                                                                                                         Key Words: Numbered Heads Together, Cooperative Learning, students learning mathematic outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students achievement in learning mathematics especially grade VIII-7 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of  14,6% on the test  about Tribe Factorization Algebra. This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve learning result in mathematics in grade by implementation of  ARCS Motivation  Strategy  in Cooperative Learning Model STAD. ARCS Strategy is a strategy that was developed based on a review of the motivation with the aim to enable students to learn. This study aims to determine the completeness of student learning, attention , relevance of teaching materials to students' needs , confidence and satisfaction of the students on the material equation of a straight line. The subject of this research were the students in the class VIII-7 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru that consist of 16 boys and 26 girls at the first semester of academic year 2016/2017. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and student’s mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematic from the basic score with percentage 14,6% to 47,6% on the first test and 78,5% on second test. The frequency distribution  analysis as well showed an improvement student achievement are increasing the number of student who received higher criteria on the first test and second test compared the number of student who received higher criteria on the basic score. On the low criteria, the number of student at  interval 21–40 descreased from basic score to the first test and second test. Furtehrmore, on the higher criteria, the number of student at interval 81-100 increased from basic score to first test with 4 students into 10 students, then have increased on the second test with 23 students. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of ARCS Motivation Strategy in Cooperative Learning Model STAD)  improve the student’s achievement of learning mathematic in grade VIII-7 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru  in the first  semester academic years 2016/2017.

Abstract: This study titled Writing Ability Personal Letter VII MTs Al-Ittihad Rumbai.. This study aims to determine the level of writing ability personal letter of class VII MTs Al-Ittihad Rumbai. The method used is descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach. Data of this study is to test write personel letters. (1) The results of this study found the ability to write the place and date of the letter student class VII MTs-Al-Ittihad Rumbai. (2) The ability of a salutation. (3)The ability to write a personal letter student class VII MTs-Al-Ittihad Rumbai. (4) the ability to write greeting cover. (5) The ability to write signatur. Abstract

Abstract: The porposes of research were to know improvement of student achievement and the effect of the application of cooperative learning model MURDER to increased student achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in Class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This research was a form of experimental research with the design randomized control group pretest-posttest. The study population was all students of class X at SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The samples were students of class X.3 as experimental class and class X.2 as the control class. The experimental class was applied cooperative learning model MURDER, while the control class using discussion method. Data were analyzed using t-test. Results from the study showed tcount>ttable (4,58 >1.67) and category increase student achievement in the experimental class at 0,79 with high katergori while the experimental class category increase student achievement by 0.55 with category so it can be concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model MURDER can improve the student achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model MURDER, Student Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the principles of manners on the novel by God, I'm so Terrorist by Damien Dematra on the shape and scale of politeness contained in the novel. The method used is descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach. In this study, the authors used two techniques namely engineering documentation or literature and data collection techniques by reading a novel By God, I'm so Terrorist by Damien Dematra as a source of overall data, mark and underline every utterance in accordance with the forms of the principle of courtesy and scale politeness, identifying each utterance in accordance with the principles of courtesy and scale of politeness, classify the principle forms of courtesy and scale of politeness on the novel by God, I'm so Terrorist by Damien Dematra, and analyze and make a description of the principle of courtesy and scale of politeness on the novel by God , I'm So Terrorist by Damien Dematra. Data of this study totaled 95 data from the research I have found in this study is the shape and scale of politeness is the principle of courtesy shaped maxim of wisdom consists of twelve data, the principle of courtesy shaped maxim of generosity consists of fourteen of data, the principle of courtesy maxim shaped compliment consists of twenty data courtesy shaped simplicity principle consists of seven data, the principle of courtesy shaped match consisted of twenty-three of data, and the principle of courtesy shaped kesimpatian maxim consists of nineteen data.Key Words: principle of manners, forms the principle of courtesy, politeness scale
