Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the character likes to read students towards the learning interest of PPKn in the Mine 4 Middle School in Tambang District, Kampar Regency. As for the population, there are 322 students in class VIII and 64 students using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are through observation, questionnaires and documentation. In analyzing using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are influential characters like reading students towards the learning interest of PPKn in the State Middle School 4 Tambang District of Kampar Regency. This is evidenced by a series of simple linear regression tests between X Variables and Y Variables, obtained Fcount (34.30) > Ftable (4.00) with Sig. (0.000) ˂ (0.05) thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The meaning is that the Influence of Characters Like Reading Students Against the Interest in Studying PPKn in SMP Negeri 4 Tambang, Tambang District, Kampar Regency is significant.Key Words: Characters likes to read, interest in learning PPKn

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to find out whether there was a significant effect of using realia in teaching writing descriptive text on the writing ability of the second year students of SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The instrument used in this research was tests (pre-test and post-test) which contained writing activities in describing objects. The population of this research was the Second Year Students of SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. The sample of the research was the class VIII.4 which contains 29 students. The needed data were collected by giving test about writing descriptive text (pre-test and post-test) to the students. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed that the mean score of pretest is 29.88, and the mean score of posttest is 63.74 and the difference between the two mean score is 33.85. Besides that, t-test of this research is 25.758 and t-table of this research is 2.048. It means that the t-test score is higher than t-table (25.758>2.048). It can be concluded that there is significant effect of using realia (real objects) in teaching writing descriptive text on the writing ability of the second year students of SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted. Thus, the use of real objects can be used as media in teaching writing descriptive texts.Key Words: Real Objects, Writing Ability, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of field observations on the ability to hand washing knowledge of students has not developed optimally. So it is necessary to apply the turn over game. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using turn over game on the ability to hand washing knowledge of children age 2-3 years. This research was conducted at KB Bintang Cendekia Tampan District Pekanbaru City, during January 2019 to Apr 2019 for observation and research. The research used experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design with 12 samples. The data collection technique used in this research is using observation sheet the ability to hand washing knowledge of student. Data anlisis technique using t-test by using SPSS program ver 20. From result of data analysis obtained tcount equal to 19,768 bigger than t table = 2,201 with sig 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there are differences in the ability to hand washing knowledge significantly before and after the application of the turn over game. Based on hypothesis test results obtained there is the effect of use turn over game to the ability to hand washing knowledge of children age 2-3 years KB Bintang Cendekia Tampan District Pekanbaru City of 61,64% .Key Words: Turn Over, Hand Washing Knowledge

Abstract

Abstract: From the observation and monitoring of the 3000 Meter Club Junior Athletics Sprint Athletes in PASI Riau that the talents and interests possessed by athletes are very large. This is evidenced by the perseverance and perseverance of the athletes in carrying out all the training programs provided by the coach. But from the results of the observations that the author has done at the PASI Riau Athletics Club during training and during the competition, many athletes did not optimally perform athletic movement techniques and quickly experienced fatigue. Especially the middle distance race numbers consist of 800 m, 1500 m and long distance distances of 3000 m and 5000 m and 3000 m steeple chase for boys and girls, while for long distance numbers that is 10,000 m, marathon 42,195 km required good physical condition, because for this distance requires maximum aerobic strength starting from start to finish. The purpose of the study was to find out "The Effect of Interval Training Exercises on the Durability of 3000 Meter Running Athletes Club Junior Athletics PASI Riau The population in this study were 6 people consisting of male groups. Sampling is determined by taking the entire population into samples (total sampling). This research instrument uses a 15-minute run test. The analysis technique uses the t-test. Based on the t-test produces tcount of 2.233 with ttable 2.015 then H_a is rejected, at the level of alpha (α) 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of Training Interval Training on Durability of 3000 Meter Running Athletes Club Junior Athletics PASI Riau.Key Words: Interval Training, Endurance

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been conducted at Pekanbaru City Junior High School in October to November 2018 which aims to determine the implementation of the scientific approach to science learning in class VIII students of Pekanbaru City Junior High School using purposive sampling technique. The samples used in this study were grade VIII teachers, totaling 10 teachers, namely SMPN 1 Pekanbaru, SMPN 3 Pekanbaru, SMPN 4 Pekanbaru, SMPN 6 Pekanbaru, SMPN 7 Pekanbaru, SMPN 10 Pekanbaru, SMPN 12 Pekanbaru, SMP N 14 Pekanbaru, SMPN 20 Pekanbaru and SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. The instruments used were scientific approach questionnaire, observation sheet and document assessment sheet. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by the value of the product moment at the level of 5% using the SPSS application and descriptive analysis was carried out. The results of the questionnaire validation scientific approach in stage I with a significant level of 5% with 5 respondents, which is equal to 0.878 and found that the questionnaire is not yet valid. Then stage II validation was carried out with a significance level of 5% with 10 respondents, which was equal to 0.632 with the results of 4.50 with very good criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that what is done in the implementation of the scientific approach to science learning in eighth grade students of Pekanbaru City Middle School shows that the scientific approach has been implemented very well.Key Words: Analysis, scientific approach, science learning

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to determine the correlation between self-esteem and writing ability of the first year students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This is a correlational research that hastwo variables. The sample of this research is one class consisted of 38 students. The class was chosen by using Cluster Random Sampling Technique.Self-esteem questionnaire and writing test were used to collect the data. The self-esteem data were collected by using a set of questionnaire FLSES (Foreign Language Self-Esteem Scale) designed by Hassan (2001). The data of writing ability were taken by administaring test of writing. The collected data were analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The result showsthat there is low correlation between students’ self-esteem and writing ability with the correlation value 0.312,while the coefficient correlation is as big as 9.7 %. The self-esteem of the students is categorized in “average” level and the writing ability is categorized in “good” level.It indicates that the students’ self-esteem influences their writing ability. Based on the finding, it would be better for the students to pay more attantion on personality aspect, such as self-esteem in learning process of writing.Key Words: Correlation, Self-esteem, Writing Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This reserch is intendedto see the correlation of elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordination with the result of free throw on women basket ball club, Young Ladies Pekanbaru. The purpouse of this research also to train member, so they can do free throw with good method. With Young Ladies Club as the population , sample in this research is all population that contain 12 members. Instrument that has beed used in this research is elasticity test of wrist, throw and catch tennis ball, and free throw test, to measure shooting skill when doing free throw. After that, data counted with statistic, to examine normality with lilofors test onsignificant level of a (0,05). The Hypothesis of this research shows there is correlation of elasticityof wrist and hand-eye coordination with free throw result. As the result of this research with statistic procedure, researcher finds conclution that is correlation about elasticity of wrist and hand-eye coordination with free throw results, with calculating result the correlation of elasticity of wrist with free throw skill is rhitung (0,91) > rtab(0, 4973), correlation of hand-eye coordination with free throw rhitung (0,82) > rtab(0,4973) and correlation of elasticity of wrist and hand eye coordination with free throw skill is Rhitung (0,96) > rtab(0,4973).Key Words: Wrist Flexibility and Hand-Eye Coordination, Free Throw.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know the effect learning motivation to students learning result in SMAN 1 Cerenti. The population of this research is all students of grade X IPS in SMAN 1 Cerenti which is consist of 138 students and this research use proportional sample technique, it is taking sample from some sub population with the proportional quantity. To measure the quantity of population using issac table with error degree 10%. Based on Issac table with error degree 10%, if population in this research is 138, so the sample is 92 students. Data is collected by using quisioner about learning motivation which is given to respondent. Data analysis uses simple linear regresi test. Based on the result of learning motivation effect of X IPS students in Economic subject in SMAN 1 Cerenti is 0,100 or 10%, meanwhile the rest is 90% effected by other factor that is not researched in this research such as intergency factor, attention, interest talent, ripeness, and readiness. For teacher, it is supposed to give praise, gift, and make new and creative learning method that is more interesting, so that it can increase learning motivation and trigger student achievement.Key Words : Learning motivation, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out if there is a significant effect of One Stay Three Stray method on the ability of the second year students of SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras in comprehending recount text. The research design was a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling. The mean score of post-test (76.30) was higher than mean score of the pre-test (53.50).Therefore, alternative hypothesis was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It means that there is a significant effect of One Stay Three Stray method on the ability of the second year students of SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras in comprehending recount text.Key Words: Reading,Reading Comprehension,One Stay Three Stray,Recount Texts

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the background of the October 15 hotel event. But at this time many people did not know the events of the Siantar Hotel. This is due to a lack of curiosity about History in its own area. This study uses field research methods and literature studies to support informant data. With the type of qualitative descriptive research. The research was carried out in West Siantar Subdistrict, Pematang Siantar Municipality, with research informants, namely West Siantar people who were over 50 years old. Data collection techniques in this study are techniques through interviews and field observations. In this study it can be concluded that the Eruption of the Siantar Hotel Event on October 15, 1945, was motivated by a flag incident in the Siantar Hotel which turned out to disturb the Pematang Siantar Youth. Where the Netherlands / NICA tries to raise its three-color flag and is added with arrogant and arrogant actions and behavior displayed by Dutch / NICA soldiers to the people of Indonesia or the people of Siantar which of course will provoke the emotions of the people who have long been hidden to reciprocate. The Siantar Hotel event on October 15, 1945 pioneered the breadth of the Indonesian Proclamation of Independence in Pematang Siantar and Simalungun, where after the hotel siantar the young men were more courageous to oppose the Netherlands / NICA or more enthusiastic in fighting for Independence and more earnestly in defending Independence. owned or felt by Indonesia in general and Pematang Siantar in particular. So the Siantar Hotel event on October 15, 1945 gave a huge influence in the struggle for Indonesian Independence. Key Words: Event, Bloody,Siantar,October 15, 1945
