Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise from interviews conducted by researchers ie students in SMA Negeri 1 have a bad attitude of discipline. The school has made various rules or rules along with severe sanctions with point system and additional punishment, this is done to foster discipline in student. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of implementation of disciplinary sanctions on the discipline and effectiveness of the implementation of sanctions against student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hiir Kampar Regency. This research method using quantitative descriptive analysis, the data in the analysis by using simple linear regression. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the percentage of respondents' responses recapitulation answer about the effect of implementation of sanctions against student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kampar Regancy, The effect of sanctions on student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kabupaten Kampar is 63%. Implementation Effective sanctions in the formation of discipline. This can be seen from 64.4% of respondents who stated that the implementation of sanctions in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency included in the category is quite good or quite effective.Keyword : Implementation of sanction, discipline of student

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted because of the low learning at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru class VC. It can be seen from their final examination results with an average score of 57,5 when the success is 75. In order to solve this problem, the which starts with students’ involvement in thinking by themselves after reading the materials provided, followed by reading and developing ideas with their peers and then followed by writing conclusion and reports. This research is an action research which consits of two cycles. Cycle I consits of two meetings and one daily exam at the end of every cycle. The subject of this research isthe SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru class of VC which contains of 40 students, consisting of 19 females and 21 males. Before the learning model cooperative script was applied, the teacher activity in cycle I improved from 66,67% which is categorized as well , to 79,17% which is categorized as good as well. Adn then it increased again in cycle II and became 87,5% which is categorized as very good, to 93,83% which is categorized as very good. Then student activity in cycle I improved from 62,5% which is categorized as well, to 70,83% which which is categorized as well. And then it increased again in cycle II and became 83,33% which is categorized as good as well, to 91,76% which is categorized as very good. The students’ learning outcomes increased from 57,5 to 69,63 in daily exam I and it improved again in daily exam II, becoming 78,13. With the implementation of learning model cooperative script,the students’ learning outcomes improve by 20,63. Therefore it can be conluded that the implementation of the learning model cooperative script can increased the learning outcomes of Social Subjects at the SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru class of VC.Keywords: Learning Model Cooperative Script, Learning Result, Social Studies

Abstract

Abstract : The objective of this research was to find out the effect by using PQ4R Strategy in teaching reading. PQ4R Strategy is one of the strategies proposed to be a good strategy in improving the students’ reading comprehension. PQ4R consists of a six-step process involves previewing, questioning, reading, reflecting, reciting & reviewing. This research is an experimental research focused on quantitative approach. There are two variables: Independent and dependent variable. The independent variable is using PQ4R strategy and dependent variable is the students’ reading comprehension. The population of this research was the second year students of SMPN 11 Pekanbaru and the writer choose 8.6. They were 40 students. The writer used reading comprehension test items inform of multiple choice as the instrument for the measurement of comprehension achieved by the students after applying PQ4R Strategy. The obtained data were analyzed by using SPSS version 16.0. The result of the data showed that from 40 students. It was found out that in PQ4R Strategy there are 34 srudents (85%) who belong to the excellent category and 6 students (15%) who belong good category. In other words, the researcher can said that the Reading Comprehension of second year students of SMPN 11 Pekanbaru was in Excellent Category.Key words : Testing, Reading Comprehension, PQ4R Strategy

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes SDN class IIIb Kampar 001 Kampar Timur through the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together. This study was conducted in SDN 001 East Kampar in class IIIB, while the time the study was conducted in the academic year 2015/2016. As the subjects in this study were teachers and students of class IIIB SDN 001 Kampar Timur, with a total of 25 students, consisting of 11 men and 14 women. Design of this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). From the results, it can be concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together can improve learning outcomes IIIb IPS graders of SDN 001 Kampar Timur. The increase of the average score of the base to the first cycle at an average of 58.52 into 71.20 with an increase of 12.68 (76%). An increase from the first cycle to the second cycle, ie from an average of 71.20 into 77.60 with an increase of 6.4 (96%). Based on the conclusions and the discussion on the above results, related to the application of the model Numbered Head Together has been done, the teacher asked a few suggestions, namely: It is expected that teachers plan to improve the situation of the discussion thus further enhance students' activity in learning activities in the classroom with the type cooperative learning Numbered Head Together in the learning process IPS.Key Words: learning outcomes IPS, Numbered head together

Abstrak :The backround of This research is process learning class lll Ml An Nasiah Manggala Sempurna Kecematan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Study of Ips still domination with the teacher so make the students passive and study achievement is not satisfied with the scor average in on KKM. This research study of porpuse to know or unknow the influence cooperative modelying type example non example decent individual or classical with result learn students class 111the study of IPS MI An Nasiah manggala Sempurna Kecematan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir.This research doing 22 students. Collegue the data with observation used sheet observation for model of data to learn cooperative type example non example. Through UAS 1 and UAS 11 for data learning. The result of this rise in cycles first than it was before the act or before PTK. The result of the study which occurs before held PTK and cycle increase of 1 15,20% for this cycle 1 the student have finisih with the total 12 students with finish 60%, while in cycle of 2 happened increase with the total 30% with finish of students 15,19, for cycle 11 increase the total 90% so, happened goald difference increase with cycle 1 and cycle 11 with total 30%. While the students activities for first meeting cycle 1 with total 53,5%, second meeting with total 67,75% and cycle 11 for first meeting with total 89,28%, second meeting with total 96,48% so, between cycle 1 and cycle 11 happened increase with total 32,26%. From this research and matery have explanation that with used model cooperative learning type of NHT. It is true then activitias and learning of students happened increase more is very good. Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning achievement and the influence of firing line active learning strategies on the subject matter of Buffer Solutions in class XI of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The form of this study is an experimental study using the Pretest-Posttest Design Randomized Control Group. The study sample consisted of 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 2 as the control class which had tested normality using the Liliefors test and tested homogeneity using two average similarity tests. The research hypothesis was tested using the right-t-test. The results showed that the application of active learning strategies for firing squad formation could improve student learning achievement on the subject of Buffer Solution with tcount = 3.78> table = 1.67 and the magnitude of the effect of increasing student achievement was categorized based on the N-Gain value of 0.75 which is included in the high category. It can be concluded that the application of active learning strategies for firing squad formation can improve students' learning achievement on the subject matter of buffer solution of class XI SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with the effect of an increase of 0.75.Key Words: Strategy for Shooting Squad (Firing Line), Learning Achievement, Buffer Solution.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ math achievement at class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 37,5%, there are only 15 students from 40 students who achieve the Basic competence completing mathematical models of the problems associated with systems of linear equations of two variables and their interpretation and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is classroom action research. This research aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru through the implentation cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray. The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru consist of 19 male and 21 female students with the heterogenous level. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students’ math achievement from the basic score with the percentage 37,5% to 52,8% on the first daily test and 62,5% on the second daily test. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Type Two Stay Two Stray can improve students’ math achievement at class VIII2 SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru in the second semester 2015/2016 academic years.Key Word : Students’ Math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and to increase the mathematic learning evaluation by implying cooperative learning of Talking Stick. The subjects of this research are student in grade VIIID of SMP Islam Terpadu Bangkinang at the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Total number of participant are 23 whose academic achievement are heterogen. This research have 2 cycles, each cycle have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle closed by daily exam. The data collected by observation and examination at daily based. The data analised by narative descriptive analysis and statistical descriptive analysis. The implementation succes if the improvement of the learning process and the number of students reach KKM increase at daily examination I and daily examination II. The research result from the observation form shows that teacher and student activity are better after the treatment implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as discuss, presented LKS, responded to presenter group, and gave the learning conclusion. The students also tried to solve the quiz from teacher in a great manner. The number of students whose achieved basic score of KKM,; daily examination I (first cycle), and daily examination II (second cycle) are 21.74%, 39.13% and 60.87%. This research shows that cooperative learning of Talking Stick can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning evaluation for VIIID of SMP Islam Terpadu Bangkinang.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe mathematics result of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 65 Pekanbaru was too low because students were subjects who geint knowledge so that they were pasive in learning process. The purpose of this study is to Improve Students Mathematics Learning Outcomes throught implementation of direct Learning Model. The research problem is whether the implementation of direct learning model can improve mathematics out comes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 65 Pekanbaru? Based on the research the results of the study indicated that teacher is activities increased about 84% in the first cycle with a good category to 93.7% in the second cycle with a very good category. Students activites also increased about 56.2% in the first cycle to 93.7% in the second cycle with a very good category. Learning outcomes of students increased 26.31 in UH I of first cycle and increased 88.35 at UH II of second cycle. Based on this research it can be concluded that the implementation of Direct Learning Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 65 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Model , Direct Learning , Math Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The problem this research is the students achievement of science lessons at SDN 023 Sedinginan fourth B graders still low with an average of 61,25 and minimum completeness criteria (KKM) science lessons is 70. Between students, amounting to 20 people only 12 students who achieve classical KKM with 60,00%. This research is Classroom Action Reseach (CAR), which aims to improve the student achievement of science lessons class IVB at SDN 023 Sedinginan with implementation cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT). Formulation of problem: is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together(NHT) can improve students achievement of science studies at SDN 005 Sedinginan. The research was conducted on April to Mayl, 2016 by 2 cycles. Subjects were students of SDN 023 Sedinginan, total 20 people who use data source. The data collection instruments this thesis is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. This thesis presents the result obtained each day before the action an improve in base score cycle with the average being 61,25. In the first cycle improve an average of 72,5 with increase big as 18,36% and improve in the second with an average of 81,00 with incrase big as 32,24 %. Activities of the teacher in the learning process in cycle of 22,91% with incease big as 64,58% and the second meeting improve to 87,49. Result of data analysis of students activities in the first cycle with the first meeting of an average of 22,91% with incease big as 64,58% and the second meeting improve to 87,49. The and classical increase for 40% increase to 30% for 70% at the firt cycle, next increase 5% to 95% in second cycle. The result in research can conclution in the class IVB at SDN 023 Sedinginan that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) can improve student achievement of science lessons at fourth B graders SDN 023 Sedinginan.   Key words: Kooperative Learning, Numbered Head Together, Result Of Science Studies
