Abstract

Abstract: The research conducted low output IPA students’ class IV elementary school Negeri 65 Pekanbaru. There were many sixteen students that Achieve Criteria Minimum were just six students (37.50%), while the students not able to Achieve Criteria Minimum were 10 students (62.50%) with the main 62.50.The purpose of this research to improve output IPA students class IV Elementary School Negeri 65 Pekanbaru with implementation model Learning Cycle. Model Learning Cycle is a learning that centered to learning and using five stages that wera: (a) engagement, the teaching catching learning material to real life around students, (b) exploration, a discussion to buil a draft that study with an escort task studnts’ paper (LKS), (c) explanation, a delegation of students wrote the results of the discussion on the blackboard, then study together in discussion class, (d) elaboration, students discussion again a group to lad work activity (e) evaluation, students did individual quiz to measure students’ comprehension that has been learned. The data Analysis of the research base score output students IPA was improvement in the firs cycle and second cycle. The improvement seen from students’ output before using model Learning Cycle that were 62,50 to the second cycle become 80. Percentage of teacher activity after applied learning models a Learning Cycle at the first cycle in the first is 50%. increase in the fourth meeting of the second cycle becomes a 85% with a category very well. Percentage students’ activity in the first cycle in the first meeting were 55%, with category enough improvement in fourth meeting in the second cycle improve become 85% with category very good. It could conclude that implementation model Learning Cycle can improve the outcomes IPA students’ class IV Elementary School Negeri 65 Pekanbaru.Keyword: Learning Cycle, Learning Outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research is based on the low level of the results of learning math grade II SD Negeri 77 Pekanbaru, caused by a teacher teaching focused on books, students who are less interested learning materials and a lack of innovation in the learning process. The action taken is the implementation of Direct Learning Model. This research aims to improve the results of learning math grade II in SD Negeri 77 Pekanbaru year 2014/2015. Design research is Research Action class (PTK). The research was conducted in two cycles with four (4) stages of cycle. Data collection instruments used, namely the observation sheets teachers and students as well as test results of learning. After the applied learning models direct then the results of the study showed that application of the model of direct learning can improve the results of learning math grade II SD Negeri 77 PekanbaruKeywords: Direct Learning, Student Achieevement The Result of Mathematics Studies

Abstract

Abstract:   This study aims to improve students learning outcomes in civic studies for grade IV A SDN 161 Pekanbaru, through the application of cooperative learning models of talking stick. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subject in this study were students as much as of grade IV A SDN 161 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. And the number of students as 35 people. Instrument used in thisresearch are observational sheet and test in the last cycle. This research was conducted in two cycle. From the analysis of the data the researched found that there is an improvement in student learning outcomes. This increase is evident from the results of student  learning  before using  model talking stick  is 68,85 square on the second cycle increased a 79,28. On the basic value there was only 16 (54,28%) students who achieve the learning mastery . in the first cycle, the student who achieve the learning mastery were increased. It was about 14,29% from the basic value, it rached 21 (60%) students . On the second cycle the student who achieve the learning mastery were increased about 30 (25,71%) from the first cycle., become 85,71%. The same thing also happened to the students learning activities. In the first cycle, students learning activities is 68,75% and on the second cycle, students learning activities were increased about 18,75%from the first cycle, become 87,50%. Based on the analysis of data of this study it can be concluded that the use og Talking Stick in Cooperative Learning Model can improve students learning outcomes and learning activities for grade student of IV A SDN 161 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of field observations of the ability to know the geometry of the students have not developed optimally. So that should be the application of geometry dakon game against the ability recognize geometric shapes. This study aims to determine the effect of applying geometry dakon game against the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Dahlia Mandiri Muntai Village, District Bantan Bengkalis. This type of research is the experiment with one group pretest and posttest design. Sampel used in this study 20 students. The data collection techniques were used that observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-test using SPSS 17.0. Based on test results obtained hypothesis t = 12.931 with Sig = 0,000 table = 1.729, for ttest > ttable with sig level 0.05. Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after the game Dakon geometry. Most of the game dakon geometry influence on the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Dahlia Mandiri Muntai Village Bengkalis Bantan District is 51.64%. Key Words : Ability Shape Geometry, Geometry Dakon

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of spiritual intelligence of students before and after the given group counseling and guidance to know how much influence the group to increase spiritual intelligence of students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. Question in this study is: How much influence the group guidance to increase students' spiritual intelligence? Method in this study is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest design. Population of this study amounted to 76 students. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. Samples were taken from 25% of the population, so that elected 30 students who have low spiritual intelligence in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Results of this research study shows that there are significant positive effect of group counseling to increasing the spiritual intelligence class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru by 25%. Abstract

Abstrak: Disputes are a form of discord by individuals or groups because they have different attitudes, beliefs, values or needs. The process that occurs when an individual or group negatively affects another individual or group by engaging in physical violence that makes the other person's feelings and feelings disrupted. The purpose of this research is to know the cause of the dispute of society IV Koto with V Koto, to know the characters involved in the dispute between society IV Koto with V Koto, to know the resolution happened in dispute between society IV Koto with V Koto, To explain the impact of the dispute between the community of Koto IV and V Koto. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data obtained from the interviews are then analyzed in their own language. The location of the research is Padang Panjang City. This research began to be implemented after the exam proposal until this thesis is completed. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques, interview techniques and literature study techniques. The result of the research indicates that there has been a dispute between IV Koto and V Koto in Padang Panjang City in 1815 because the problem of gambling and dispute took victim from community IV Koto.Keyword: Community IV Koto with V Koto, Dispute

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to develop non-experimental student worksheet in Newtonian gravity. This research was conducted starting from May until June 2017. It is reasearch and development classification using ADDIE model without the implementation level. The subject was Newtonian gravity in the 10th grade, 2nd semester, senior high school physics subject. The research was conducted by analyzing the curriculum of physics subject in senior high school associated with Newtonian gravity, mapping the student worksheet assignment which fits to the curriculum, and the worksheet which was arranged and developed based on the planning above. The prototype of the worksheet was produced and then validated by the experts such as three physics lecturers and two physics senior high school teachers. The aspect of validation which has been assessed was the feasibility of presentment, content, and languange. After gaining the feedback from the experts, the worksheet was then edited, revised, and validated. The result of this research was analysed descriptively. According to the data, it can be concluded that the student worksheet which has been developed entirely has been catagorized as 'very high' and 'valid'. The result of validation from presentmen feasibility respectively was 3.59; 3.67; 3.75; 3.70, the content feasibility showed, 3.64; 3.65; 3.65; 3.63 , and the languange feasibility was gained in the number of 3.62; 3.62; 3.54, and 3.40.Keywords: development, non-experimental student worksheet, Newtonian gravity

Abstract

Abstract :This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes mathematicsof fourth grade students of SDN 24 Kuala Penaso Kecamatan Pinggir by implementing cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). The research subjectswere fourth grade students who have theheterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles. The first cycle comprises four sessions with a one time UH in the end of each cycle, end the second cycle consists of two sessions with one time UH in every end of the cycle. As well as having four stages, are planning, implementation, observation and reflection, the results showed the activity of teacher and student has exhausted resources were well after done action. On a base score of students who reach the KKM is as much as 40% of the students achieved the first UH KKM as much as 60% and UH two students who achieve the KKM as much as 85%. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model TSTS can improve the process of learning mathematics and improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Kuala Penaso Kecamatan Pinggir of the odd semester of the academic year 2013/2014.Keywords: Learning Process, Mathematics Outcomes Learning, Cooperative Learning, TSTS, Classroom Action Result.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in Physics Learning Outcomes class X SMA N 4 Pekanbaru using model Inquiry Training. The research was conducted of the month April 2017 to July 2017. The form of this study was Quasi Experimental Design with design Intact Group comparasion. The sample of research in class X1 and X2 with the number of students 38 and 37 students in SMA N 4 Pekanbaru. Where in class X2 as experiment class and class X1 as control class. The research instrument used is test result of cognitive learning. Data collection techniques are tests of cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential analysis.The results showed that the average score of the absorption of students with the application of training inquiry is 71.51% with the higher category, while the average absorption class with the application of conventional learning 63.71% with a lower category. Thus concluded that the application of learning models Inquiry Training can improve student learning outcomes in learning Physics in harmonious vibration material in class X SMA N 4 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Inquiry Training model, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the ability of the second year students of SMPN 32 Pekanbaru in using appropriate preposition in a reading text. In particular, this research focuses on their ability in using preposition of place, time and direction. There were 40 students selected using cluster random sampling as sample of this quantitative study. The data were collected using a reading text test with 20 multiple choice tests. The try out was conducted to check the validity and reliability of the test. It was found that the ability of the second year students in using appropriate preposition is poor to average level with mean score 58,88. This research recommended the students to make themselves familiar with more elaborated use of prepositions. Students can also comprehend more about the conceptualization of prepositions in many contexts by practicing writing and speaking that would require them to use prepositions. Further research can focus on how to overcome the high level of difficulties of English prepositions materials.Keywords: Students’ Ability, Preposition.
