Abstract

Abstract: The Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center was built based on the idea of the Regent at that time, Mr. Drs. H. Achmad, M.Si, that the mosque was founded because in the Rokan Hulu Regency area there was no representative mosque to serve as a place of prayer and religious activities at the district level. In 2015 the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center was awarded as the best mosque in Riau Province. The purposes of this study are 1) To find out the background of the establishment of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center in Pasir Pengaraian Rokan Hulu Regency 2) To find out the function and role of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center on community life in Rokan Hulu Regency 3) To determine the impact of the existence of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center towar life in Rokan Hulu Regency 4) To find out tourists' perceptions of the existence of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center in Rokan Hulu Regency. The method of this research is qualitative and quantitative. The result of this study shows that the existence of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center has a significant impact on the society life in Rokan Hulu in social, economic, educational and religious tourism fields.Key Words: The Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center, Society Life

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to produce a multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOT) that is valid on straight motion material and can be used in learning. The type of research that will be used is research and development (according to Sugiyono). The object of this research is a multi-representation module based on High Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material. The research instrument used was a validation sheet for developing High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) multirepresentation modules that would be prepared based on standard assessment indicators set by the Ministry of National Education regarding the guidelines for writing modules with some modifications according to the requiredmodule specifications. The steps that will be taken to conduct data analysis in this study are to convert the module validation sheet using a Likert scale in order to obtain quantitative data . The results obtained showed that the aspects of the feasibility of the content, language, graphics and presentation of each module are valid with good and very good categories. Thus it can be concluded that the multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material has been valid based on aspects of content worthiness, language, graphics and presentation so that it is appropriate to be used as a learning resource that guides students in understanding straight motion material.Key Words:Multi-Representation Module, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Straight Motion.

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the students motivation learning by using media simulated virtual PhET through contextual approach at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a true-experimental, with the pretest posttest- control grup design. The subject of this research is students class VIII at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru, total of 96 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of motivation before and after learning physics by implementation of media simulated virtual PhET through contextual approach approach at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis. Then, measured the improvement of the students motivation by The result of this research using SPSS 23. Score motivation of students at experimental class in high category and increase in the middle category with score 5,13, and the control class in the low category with score 3,24. Therefore, it can be concluded that the using of media simulated virtual PhET through contextual approach able to improve the motivation of students at SMAN 10 PekanbaruKey Words: Media simulated virtual PhET, contextual learning, Motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this researh it still a lack of muscle strength of the arms and shoulders during serving up a ball can not pass trough the net Based on these problems the writer give the standing barbell triceps extention exercises to know the effect of standing barbell triceps extention on muscle arm strength and shoulder in doing up service on the men's volleyball team of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru doing service up get the maximum result. This type of research is experiment with design one group preteset-posttest design. Population in this research the men's volleyball team of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru is the entire population of 12 people. While the sample technique used total sampling where all the population is sample. The sample in this study amounted to 12 people of the men's volleyball team of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. The instrument use in this research to test of muscle strength of the arms and shoulders is expanding dynamometer test. After that, the data is processed with statistic normality test with liliefors test at significance test level α (0,05). The hypothesisis the effect effect of standing exercise barbell triceps extention on muscle arm strength and shoulder. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there are an average pretest 17,00 and posttest 20,25 with an increase 3,25. Based on t test, analysis produces thitung 10,8 and ttabel 1,796, meaning thitung> ttabel.Thus, there effect of of standing barbell triceps extention on muscle arm strength and shoulder in doing up service on the men’s volley ball team of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. .Keywords: Standing Barbell Triceps Extention, Muscle Arm and Shoulder Strength

Abstract

Abstract: This education is conducted because of the low of learning result of Math class V student of SD Negeri 9 Pangkalan Nyirih, KKM set at school, that is 65. From 20 students, reaching KKM 4 student while student who do not reach KKM is 16 students with average value average student (58.50%). To solve the problem then the researcher apply problem solving method, the purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes of SDN 9 Class V Pangkalan Nyirih Rupat District with the application of problem solving method, the result of research is average value of the average score of the students ability is 59%. Increased in cycle I by 72%. In cycle II also experienced an average increase of 77%. After applied method of problem solving mastery learn student increase to 90%. The teacher activity of the first meeting of the first cycle of the percentage is 50% with the sufficient category and at the second meeting of the first cycle the percentage increases to 54% with sufficient percentage and on the activity of the Cycle II teacher the first meeting of the percentage of 75% with the good category and at the second meeting increased to 91 % with very good category. The activity of the students at the first cycle meeting is the percentage is 50% with enough category, at the second meeting of the cycle I the percentage is 54% with enough category, the first meeting of second cycle of the percentage is 83% with good category, at the second meeting increased to 91% very good, from this research can be concluded that by applying problem soling method can improve the result of learning mathematics of student of class V SD Negeri 9 Pangkalan Nyirih.Keywords: problem solving method, mathematics learning result

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimedto determine the level of anxiety of English students in speaking English. The populations in this study werethe second year English Faculty FKIP Riau University students. Onthe implementation,the researcher used simple random sampling technique (n = 30). The data were collected by distributing a set of questionnaires adapted from FLCAS (Foreign Language Anxiety classroom Anxiety Scale) and designed by Horwitz et al., 1986. Based on the data analysis, it couldbe seen that their anxiety level is in the moderate category, with an average of 2 , 78. Specifically, the data analysis also showedthe level of student anxiety in each of its components, with an average at a moderate level with an average score of 2.80. This shows that their level ofEnglish anxiety is in the moderate.KeyWord: Foreign Language Anxiety, Component Anxiety

Abstract

Abstract: This research to determine the quality of peda anchovies (Stolephorus sp) treated with length of fermentation and salt concentration for the student worksheet design that was conducted in March 2017. This research was carried out by two phases: the field research and design student worksheet (LKS). Research experiments were conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial 4x3 with 3 replicates in order to obtain 36 units of the experimental design. Parameters observed include protein content, fat content, pH value and organoleptic value which include aroma, color, texture and taste. The results showed that the length fermentation and salt concentration significant effect on protein content, fat content, pH value in the peda anchovies (Stolephorus sp). Where the best fermentation anchovy is found in T4G1 treatment (20 days length fermentation with 15% salt concentration) with protein content of 7.9%, fat content of 0.17%, pH value of 5.96 and the most preferred organoleptic by the panelists because it has a very tasty taste, scented-peda began to sharply aroma, the texture of fish that have been destroyed with a gray-brown color. Results from the study are used as a design student worksheet (LKS) on the subjects of biology in high school.Key words: Length of fermentation, salt concentration, Peda Anchovies and Student Worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses about the errors of using Wa and Ga particle carried out by third grade student japanese education program FKIP Riau University Academic Year 2017/2018. The purpose of this research was to find out and describe the errors in the use of wa and ga particle on what functions were most often performed by students and how students understood the use of wa and ga particle in Japanese sentences. This research is descriptive qualitative, to obtain data, the instrument used in this research is a written test. The object of this research is third grade student japanese education program FKIP Riau University Academic Year 2017/2018 who have passed the bunpou 4 courses which are 32 students. Based on the results of the test, students made more mistakes in the use of wa particle than ga particle. Student errors in the use of wa particle occur mostly in functions to show a thing that contrasts/contradicts what is said behind it (100%) and functions as a topic marker in negative sentences (90,6%). Student errors in the use of ga particle occur mostly in functions to affirm the subject (90,6%) and function to show the subject of intransitive verbs (84,3%).Key Words: Error analysis, Wa and Ga particle

Abstract

Abstract: The motivated of this study is the restrict of mathematics learning instruments as supporting learning in Curriculum 2013 . This study aimed to develop mathematics learning instruments with approach Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on plane of triangle for 7th grade SMP/MTs. Learning instruments in this study are lesson plan and student activity sheet. This study method used is 4D model by Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel that consist of define, design, development, and disseminate, but the study only done to development step. Based on the results, data analysis can be concluded that the study of mathematics is very valid to the average ratings for the lesson plan is 3.68 and the average ratings for the student activity sheet is 3.65. The student worksheet has also reached the practical qualification in mean percentage of student responses 98% in the small group trial.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Instrument, Approach Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Research and Development.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the result of observation in the field toward confidence of student, it find that confidence of student are not yet improve optimally. So, there is needed applying of fashion show activity. This research has a purpose to know the influence of fashion show activity. This research of applying fashion show activity toward confidence of 5-6 years old children in early childhood Aqila Kids District Tambang Regency of Kampar. Sample of this research are 14 student of class B. Technique to college data is using observation technique and technique of data analysis is using t-test with using SPSS 18.0 program. Hypotheses of this research is there are very significant influence toward student confidence after applying fashion show activity. This is knowing from the result of data obtained t=17.298 p=0,000 because p < 0,05. So, it can be conclude that there has a very significant different of student confidence. confidence after using fashion show activity in teaching learning. So, its mean that Ho refused and Ha accepted that means there are very significant different between before and after doing the experiment with fashion show activity. The effect of fashion show activity to confidence of 5-6 years old children at early childhood Aqila Kids District Tambang Regency of Kampar e as much as 32,5%Keywords : Confidence, Fashion Show Activity
