Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this study is a minimize of performance ability in free throw shooting. This is presumally because the lack of hand-eye coordination, the relationship between hand-eye coordination with the free throw shooting in the male basketball team at SMA N 5 Pekanbaru. The sample in this study is the Male Basketball team at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru which consisted 12 people. A sampling technique was overall population (total sampling). The instruments used in this research is to test hand-eye coordination which aims to measure the eye-hand coordination skills test set shoot with the free throw shooting that aimed to measure skills penalty shot. After that, the data was processed statistically with lilifors test at significant level 0,05α. The hypothesis is there is significant relationship between eye-hand coordination with the results free throw in a game of basketball. Based on analysis of test lilifors produce L count (x) of 0.190 and 0.242 tables L, L count (y) amounted to 0,084 and 0,242 L table, meaning L count <L table, then the samples came from normal populations. From the calculation of product moment correlation between eye and hand coordination gained the results of free throw shooting where r arithmetic (-0.142) <r table (0.602) therefore Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Thus there are no significant relationship between eye-hand coordination withthe shooting male basketball team at SMAN N 5 Pekanbaru. In summary insignificant correlation does not always mean there is no relationship, although the relationship is very low or weak.Key Words: Hand-Eye Coordination With The Result Free Throw.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at finding the effect of picture series on reading comprehension of the second year students of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. The method used in this study was quantitative research and the research design was quasi-experimental study. The researcher used Cluster Random Sampling technique to choose the sample. For 165 students of the population, class VIII B was chosen as the experimental class and VIII D as control class. The instrument of this research was in form of multiple choices test for pre-test and post-test. The test was narrative text and there were 30 multiple choice items for each test. The researcher used formula t-test to analyze the data. The result of this study shows that there was a significant difference on students’ reading comprehension of narrative text by using picture series and without using picture series. The mean score for experimental class was 61.5 (pre-test) and 83.8 (post-test). The mean score for control class was 71.8 (pre-test) and 82 (post-test). It can be seen that on the df =81 in the degree of significance 5%, the value of degree significance is 1.98. By comparing the value to and tt the result showed that to is higher than tt (to>tt = 5.44>1.98). The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using picture series on reading comprehension of the second year students of SMPN 40 Pekanbaru.Key words: Effect, picture series, reading comprehension

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe tittle of this research is repetition on collection Perempuan Wali Kota poetry by Suryatati A manan. The purpose of research is to analyze the kind, function and repetition meaning . This research is a qualitative study with descriptive method. The data such as words, pharases, clauses, and sentences. The data of this research are 60 datas. The result of this research found the kind of repetition, that are (10) epizeukis, (4) tautotes, (10) anaphora, (10) epistrofa, (1) simploke, (10) mesodilopsis, (2) epanalepsis, (10) anadiplosis and new (2) epistrofa introgratifa, and (1) epistropfa numerelia repetition. Futhermore, the function of repetition that are (25) assertive to explain, (6) notices, (1) suggest, (2) boast, (2) complain, (1) prosecute, and (1) reporting. The function of directive that are (5) command, (1) pleading, (1) suggesting, and (3) advising. The function of commisive (1) ineffective. Identify Ekspression to explain about praise (6) and identify declarative as the question to explain about name (4)  and  (1) appointing. The meaning of repetition that are (14) cognitive meaning or referential, (9) emotive or pictoral, (4) construction, (5) grammatical, (8) proposition, (11) central meaning and (9) idiomatic meaning. The dominant kind of repetition found is epizeukis, anaphora, epistrofa, mesodilopsis, and anadiplosis repetition (10), and assertive statement is dominant repetition function found (25). The dominant meaning of repetition found that cognitive of referential (14). The element of aesthethics contens dominate on collection Perempuan Wali Kota poetry by Suryatati A Manan. Keywords: repetition, kind repetition, function repetition, repetition meaning, poetry.

Abstract:This research is motivated by changes in the meaning of values in the Bardah music tradition. where there are changes in the tradition of bardah music in ancient times and today.the formulation of this research problem is“what aspects have changed in the bardah music tradition in the second village made in koto gasib district of siak district and what factors influence changes in the meaning of the value of the bardah music tradition in the second artificial village in the koto gasib district of siak district. the purpose of this research is“to find out what aspects have changed in the tradition of bardah music in the artificial village II of the KotoGasib district of Siak Regencyand to find out what factors influence changes in the meaning of the value of the Bardah music tradition in the artificial village II of the Koto Gasib district of Siak Regency , practically the results of this research are expected to increase knowledge for readers and increase knowledge for the researchers themselves.Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Respondents in this study were taking 10 simple people, 4 of whom were bardah musical instruments players. Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative methods.the results of this study are: where found changes in the tradition of bardah music, these changes include "conveying the teachings of the Islamic religion, the teachings of lust control, the application of education for bardah musical instrument players, community togetherness in the bardah music tradition, community participation in the bardah music tradition, preserving culture in the bardah music tradition and adding ideas to the bardah music tradition.where in the changes that are very influential, namely in the factor of technological progress, where in today's technology advances are very rapid and make a change in the musical tradition bardah.Key Words: Change, Bardah Music Tradition

Abstract

Abstrak: The research aims to determine whether the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sample of  research is X MIA 2 as the experimental class, X MIA 1 as the control class.control class and experimental class normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. The experimental group was treated implementation of IMPROVE while the control group without implementation of IMPROVE.  T-test right side was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained  tcount>ttable is 4,084 > 1,667,meaning that the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru  Key Words: IMPROVE,  Learning achievement, chemical bonds

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to analiyze students High Order Thinking Skills in solving HOTS questions. The method used in this study in survey research to provide an overview of the patterns and levels of class X HOTS of students onbusiness and energy material. The subjects of this study were66 students in class X high school in the Tampan district of Pekanbaru.The research instrument used wasa matter of bussines and energy HOTS. Data collection techniques by providing instrument HOTS to class X students who have studied bussines and energy materials. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the instrument HOTS are able to analyze High Order Thinking Skills of class X students in all the Tampan district of Pekanbaru with an average in the unvavorable category.Key Words: HighOrder Thinking Skills Students, Test intruments HOTS, Effort and Energy

Abstract

Abstract:This research was conducted with the aim to determine the relationship of eye hand coordination and wrist hand flexibilityto the skills of long servicebulutangcis at the PB Garuda Clubin Bandar Sungai. The problems found in this study are eye hand andwrist hand flexibilityare still not optimal, it isseen do badminton long service, thay arelook stiff when swinging wrist hand flexibility will be reduced then the ball is out of control again, losing direction of the goal so the ball hangs in and out to the side of the court. This research was conducted in the Jaya Mukti Hall. Jalan 4 Sehat 5 Sempurna, Kec.Sabak Auh, Siak district, Riau was conducted in Maretto September 2019. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, in which a total population of 8people was selected as a sample.Based on the results of the study that the author has described in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn: "There is a significant correlation simultaneously between eye handcoordination and wrist hand flexibilityto the skills of long service athletewho take part in badminton in the Club PB Garuda Bandar Sungai" where from the calculation results obtained by the multiple correlation coefficient (Rtest) obtained R count = 0.9450while Rtable obtained by 0.754, so Rhitung> Rtable. Abstract

Abstract: This research was designed to describe the students’ ability in comprehending recount text. The aim was to find out students ability in comprehending the text. This descriptive research took place in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru from March to April 2015. The sample was 40 students from VIII2 class that took by using cluster random sampling. In collecting the data, there were 30 questions that included in this test. The duration time for doing the test was 40 minutes. The data was analyzed by calculating the students’ score individually and finding out the mean score. The students’ score classified into four level mastery; they are: poor, poor to average, average to good, and good to excellent. The data was presented by using graphic. Based on the result finding of this research, the students’ ability in comprehending recount text at second grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru was in poor to average level. Meanwhile, the mean score of the whole students’ scores was 52.6.Keywords: Students’ Ability, Comprehending Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the characteristics of transpiration of dominant plants post fire peatland in Rimba Panjang Village, Kampar District. The results of the research will be utilized for flipchart media design of the influence of external factors on the growth and development of plants in Class XII Senior High School. This research was conducted in February-June 2017 by using 2 phases namely (1) Stage measurement of transpiration rate of dominant plants; (2) Stage design of Senior High School Biology flipchart media. The research used survey method with observation in Rimba Panjang Village, Kampar District. Determination of sampling location was done by purposive random sampling based on the gradient of fire time and the samples were taken by using the line method. Flipchart media design is done by analysis and design phase. The main parameters in this study were the transpiration rate of dominant plants of sapling level and environmental factors namely soil moisture, light intensity, temperature and humidity as supporting parameters. The results showed that the transpiration characteristics of dominant plants after fire were influenced by the time of the fire. The transpiration rate tends to decrease from the observation site with the longest fire incident time (2009) to the new site experiencing the fire incident (2017). After a fire incident, plants need time to recover from damage both in function and physiology of plants. Differences in environmental conditions at each site with a gradient time observation of the fire is influenced by the high and low intensity fires. Based on the research results developed as a teaching material that will be presented in the design of Senior High School Biology flipchart media.Key Word: Peatland, Transpiration Rate, Flipchart Media2

Abstract

ABSTRACT Industrial seafood is one of the micro-enterprises that are currently in great demand by most people in Pekanbaru . Increased public interest in seafood will be potentially huge market opportunity to earn huge profits . When going to open a seafood industry means one must consider how the profitability of the business 's ability to generate earnings that will be a picture of the effectiveness of the business . The purpose of this study was to determine the level of profitability of microenterprise industry types seafood. The population in this study were all kinds of micro-businesses of seafood industry in Pekanbaru listed in the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM in Pekanbaru as many as 44 population . This study used purposive sampling method with the following criteria : 1 ) the type of industry Micro seafood which carries on business in Pekanbaru . 2 ) Micro-businesses in the seafood industry types with financial records in running their business . Techniques of data collection was through interviews . Analysis using averaging techniques and technical profitability in net income . The results showed that the average net profit industry types seafood industry as a whole amounted to Rp 5,369,185 , - . And the highest profitability in the amount of 48.36 % so that capital can be returned within a period of 3 months , and the profitability of the other respondents , namely a maximum of 19.00 % and can restore the capital within a period of 6 months .Keywords : Profitability , Micro, Micro Type Seafood Industry
