Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of Japan during the Tokugawa shogunate, to know what IS the background of the Meiji Restoration, analyzed the thinking of Fukuzawa Yukichi on the modernization of Japan, to know the development of education in Japan, knowing the cultural development in Japan and determine the effect of Fukuzawa Yukichi’s thought against Japan modernization. The method used in this research is descriptive method of historical research, a method that discuss several possibilities to solve actual problems with the way collect data, organize or classify, analyze, and interpret. The study concluded that Fukuzawa Yukichi thinking about modernization in Japan dilator background by the desire to make Japan as a free and independent country in the world. Fukuzawa Yukichi thought about the modernization of education is: a. Datsu A Ron (out of Asia). The most important target is "the pursuit of surpassing Western countries". In an effort to follow the example of the Japanese Western countries so as to expand and colonize neighboring countries before World War II. Fukuzawa idea was used by the military government which intends to build a "Neighborhood East Asia Co-Prosperity". The idea of the famous blaze in his book entitled "Gakumon no susume". Fukuzawa wrote "As the most powerful way to achieve the country's goal is through education because God does not put another human being". Thought Fukuzawa Yukichi that became a cornerstone in the development of culture in Japan are: cultural changes done in Japan should start from the local values deemed superior, applying mental Bushido or way of life samurai (hard working, honest, follow the leader, not individualistic, not selfish, responsible, clean heart, to be shameless). In Western culture we can all apply in our daily lives but traditional Japanese culture should still be upheld as the hallmark and foundation of life of Japanese society. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the influence of family environment and entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of vocational high school students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive carried out in SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Provinsi Riau. The population in this study are 400 students. The sampling technique using random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 200 students.The data were collected through a questionnaire and documentation. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive technique and multiple regression. Results of the data shows that the family environment has partial positive significant effect on entrepreneurial interest for SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Provinsi Riau student. Then entrepreneurial knowledge has partially has no effect on the interest in entrepreneurship SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Provinsi Riau student. Results of the data analysis shows that simultaneously family environment and entrepreneurial knowledge have a positive significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship of the student of SMK Negeri Pertanian Terpadu Provinsi Riau.Key Words: Family Environment, Entrepreneurial Knowledge, Entrepreneurial Interest.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at finding the ability of the second year students of English Study Program FKIP Univeritas Riau in listening to conversations. The writer used Cluster Random Sampling technique to choose the sample. There are three classes for population of this research consists of 90 students there are class A, B and C, class B was chosen as the sample consisted of 30 students. The instrument of this research was in the form of multiple choices test which consisted of tryout and sample. The test was listening test. The test had four scripts and each script had five questions based on listening question comprehension components, so there were 20 questions for the script. The writer used SPSS 16.0 Program to analyze the data. Based on the results, there are two students in the excellent level (6,7%), and eleven of the students (36, 7%) were at good level, 33,3% were at mediocre level, and 23, 3% was at poor level. So, from the result of the calculation, the majority of student’s ability in listening comprehension on conversation was at good level. The data also indicated that the highest score obtained by students was 85 while the lowest score was 30, and for each classification of question, the mean score of the students’ ability for finding main idea was 65,33 finding detail was 42,00, identifying inference was 66,00 and identifying restatement was 52,00. It means that identifying detail was the students’ lowest score and finding main idea was the students’ highest score of the second year students especially students from class B of English study program FKIP-UR in listening comprehension on conversations.Key Words: Ability,Conversation, Listening Comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurship attitude on entrepreneurial interest at economic education department university of riau. It’s using a quantitative descriptive approach, the population in the study is students who have taken entrepreneurship courses as many as 203 students and the population was taken as sample (purposive sampling). Data collection technique using document and questionnaires. The analysis of data was used path analysis. The result showed that the the entrepreneurial knowledge is in medium category, entrepreneurship attitude is in medium category, and entrepreneurial interest is in medium category.Key Words: Entrepreneurial Knowledge, Entrepreneurship Attitude, Entrepreneurial Interest

Abstract

Abstract: The research problem is in learning this knowlage social science (IPS student learning outcomes is still very low, there are still many students who are less able to infer the learning material, many  students are passive, lazy student asked. It is very clear from these problems, students can not absorb the material well. Seeing these conditions need to be changes and   improvements in learning process. Implementation Approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to improve learning outcomes knowlage social science grade 1V SDN 014 Pujud on material economic activity and utilization of natural resources. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)  is a learning process that emphasizes the involvement of students in full process to be able to find a material that is learned by plugging in their lives. Subjects in this study were students of grade 1V SDN 014  Pujud with total of sixteen students. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK) was conducted in two cycles with two meetings and one repeat of the end of each cycle. Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet and repeat the test end of the cycle. IPS learning ability can be seen from the increase in base score with an average value of 66.87 with complete categories, the first cycle with an average value of 74.04 with the category is not exhaustive and the second cycle with an average value of 90.03 by category completely. Evident from the average yield basis, the first cycle and the second cycle must be increased. In the first cycle of 62.5% and has increased very significantly in the second cycle of 87.55%. The results of analysis of data obtained from the results of hypothesis conducted refer  to standard completeness of student learning outcomes, and this means that the application of the approach Contextual Teaching and Leaning (CTL) is received and can improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN 014 Pujud. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, IPS, Application of CTL approach

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the influence the quality of service to customer satisfaction at the workshop Fadil Motor Ppekanbaru city. Population in this study were customer of workshop Fadil Motor Pekanbaru as many as 112 customer, and the sample of 53 customer. Measurement of data using the question form and documentation. Analysis of data used is simple linear regression. The result of research based on simple linear regression showed quality of service influence to customer satisfaction at the workshop Fadil Motor Pekanbaru, this can be seen from constant value (a) equal to 45.733 and regression coefficient value (b) equal to 0.479 with regression equation 45.733+0.479. Seen from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained the value of 0.360. Means that the contribution of quality of service influence on customer satisfaction outcomes of 36,0%..Keyword: Quality of Service, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: K.H Umar Usman was Indonesian independence pioneer figure from Teluk Kuantan. The pioneers of independence are those who have struggled to bring Indonesian to independence, being recognize and ratified as a pioneer with a decree of social minister of indonesia. The purpose of this study is to know the biography of K.H Umar Usman, what he had done and his truggle after independence of indonesia. The method used in this study is a historical research consists of four stage, they are heuristics (source collecting), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The data was collect from interview and book. The data obtained from interviews and the books were analyzed by using own words. this research wasconducted in teluk kuantan. This research was conducted starting from the issuance of research permiti until this thesis is done. The technique of collecting data used were interview, library research, and documentation. The result showed that K.H Umar Usman was a pioneer of independence based on the decision of the social minister of Indonesian republic with number pol 3/65. The pioneer of independence was given for his struggle against the colonialist. The struggle by K.H Umar Usman was done by religious an do dak’wah. The struggle by K.H Umar Usman is also done in political way occupying several Importand potitions.Key word: K.H Umar Usman, independence pioneer, struggle

Abstract

ABSTRACK : The purpose of the research is to analyze factor’s affect interest saving on BRI Syariah Pekanbaru. Method of the research is quantity by statistical analyze. Sampling method used by researchers is a probability sampling (cluster sampling) is a technique where each member of the sample on the take the population has the same opportunity to become a member of sampling. Sample technique uptake incidental sampling. The data used in this research is the primary data is obtained from the division of a detailed questionnaire to the customer. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The primary data is collected from customer who save their money at BRI Syariah Pekanbaru. The questionnaire is answered by 250 respondents that chosen randomly. The secondary one are obtained from BRI Syariah documents, website and other media. Data analysis method used is the partial correlation, correlation multiple and regression multiple test with SPSS tools. The result reveals that the factor’s affect interest saving in BRI Syariah Pekanbaru is syariah culture, reference group, perception stimuli by partial and multiple analyze.Keywords : Interest saving, syariah sub-culture, reference groups, perception stimuli

Abstract

Abstract:This research aimed to determine the correlation between the vocabulary ability of the first year students of Abdurrab Vocational High School Pekanbaru and their reading comprehension in narrative text. The sample of this research were 48 students. The sample was chosen by using Cluster Random Sampling Techniques. The data in this research were vocabulary and reading comprehension tests which were analyzed by Pearson Product Moment Formula in SPSS 23.0. The results of the study show that there was a correlation between vocabulary ability and reading comprehension in narrative text. The value of the correlation coefficient was 0.502. It was considered that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In scale correlation by Sugiyono (2010:231), 0.40 – 0.70 meant that the correlation between vocabulary ability of the first year students of Abdurrab Vocational High School Pekanbaru and their reading comprehension in narrative text categorized as intermediate correlation. In other words, the students’ vocabulary ability affects their reading comprehension.Key Words: Correlation, Vocabulary Ability, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted because of the low class IV student learning outcomes in social studies with an average of 68.20, and below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school at 70 in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Meanwhile, the number of students who reached KKM only 11 students (44.00%) while those not reached KKM amounted to 14 people (56.00%). The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes IPS fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Gajah Sakti subdistrict Saber with the application of learning models make a match. The results of observation of activities of teachers in the first cycle of activity first meeting is 45.80% less category, at a second meeting be 58.30% enough category. At the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 79.25% both categories, and the second meeting increased again 95.80%. While the observation of the activities of student activity can be seen from the first cycle of the first meeting is 41.67% less category, at a second meeting be 54.17%. At the first meeting of the second cycle of 75.00% and second dipertemuan increased to 91.70%. IPS learning outcomes from initial data to the UH 1 which is an average of 68.2 increased to an average of 69.4 with an increase of 1.76% to 2 UH increased to an average of 81.4 with an increase of 19.35%.  Key Words: Make A Match, learning outcomes IPS
