Abstract

Abstract: This study aims is to describe the difficulties experienced by students of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru and explain the factors causing difficulties in solving HOTS questions based on Heller Stages indicators. This research uses survey research methods. The research procedure used is preparing instruments, determining population and samples, taking research data, analyzing research data (descriptive analysis), and summarizing research results. The instrument used in this study is a matter of such diagnostic tests HOTS essay about work and energy as much as 5 questions. Other instruments in the form of a questionnaire, this questionnaire consisted of 12 statements and compiled based on indicators of the Heller stages and learning material about work and energy. The subjects of this study were 7 classes taken from 3 classes using stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that among all types of Heller stages that had the highest percentage of difficulty values were the 1st Heller stages, which illustrated a sketch of the problem with a percentage of 47.3% included in the difficult category. Based on the questionnaire, students made the most mistakes at the 3rd Heller stages, namely writing a formula that was used with a percentage value of agreeing to 92%.Key Words: Student’s difficulties, Problem solving, HOTS questions in physic, Heller Stages,Work and energy.

Abstract

Abstrack: Problem formulation in this research is how is the management oflearning facilities in PKBM Mitra Riau jaya Cemerlang Marpoyan Damai DistrictPekanbaru City? This aims to determine the Management of Learning Facilities in theCommunity Learning Activity Center (PKBM) of Riau Jaya Cemerlang, MarpoyanDamai District, Pekanbaru City. This study uses a qualitative research method and usesa descriptive approach that aims to provide a systematic description of the ongoingsituation in the object of research that is the Management of Learning Facilities at theCommunity Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Mitra Riau Jaya Cemerlang MarpoyanDamai District Pekanbaru City. Data obtained based on the subject of researchers orinformants of researchers as many as 3 informants. As a reference for conductingresearch in the field, researchers prepare a grid in the form of a question format topresent interview material to respondents. Abstract

Abstract : Purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Treatment Gurindam 12 to Increase Social Interaction of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru Students. This research is a quantitative research with experimental research type. The population of this study was 35 students, the sample used was 8 students who were indicated to have low social interaction. The technique sampling used in this study was an Experiment with approach one group pre-test and post-test. Data collection techniques used are through questionnaires / questionnaires for students. In this research, the hypothesis proposed is that there are differences in significant students 'social interactions before and after they are given techniques Gurindam 12 and there is a significant influence on techniques Gurindam 12 to increase students' social interactions.In this study, social interaction variables were obtained before being given techniques gurindam 12 included in the low category with a percentage of 25%, moderate category with a percentage of 75%. While after being given technique gurindam 12 social interaction students increased to a high category with a percentage of 62.5%, a medium category with a percentage 37.5%. Social Interaction of 8 students who were previously in the low and moderate category experienced an increase after being given techniques gurindam 12 through group counseling which were mostly in the high category. by 89,4% while 10,6% is influenced by other factors that come from within students and the environment.Key Words: Gurindam 12, social interaction, group counseling

Abstract

Abstract: The 2013 curriculum is a curriculum that emphasizes on character education, especially at the basic level that will form the foundation at the next level. This curriculum has been implemented at SMAN 1 Kandis in Siak Regency since 2018. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is an extension of the education level one (SBC) curriculum. This research aims to, (1) To find out the Implementation of History Learning in Curriculum 2013 at SMAN 1 Kandis Regency, (2). To find out the factors affecting the learning of History in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMAN 1 Kandis Siak District, (3). To find out the supporting factors in learning History in implementing the 2013 curriculum in SMAN 1 Kandis Siak District, (4). To find out student feedback on History Learning in the 2013 curriculum at SMAN 1 Kandis Siak District. In this study we used qualitative descriptive method as a reference to conduct research on Curriculum Implementation 2013 In History Subjects At SMAN 1 Kandis. Qualitative research aims to gain a holistic view of something based on the viewpoint of the person being studied. Qualitative research relates to the ideas, perceptions, opinions or beliefs of the person being researched. The research period starts from the submission of the proposal title to the completion of the author's thesis. The result of this study is the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in learning history at SMAN 1 Kandis in Siak District. Key Words: Curriculum 2013 in SMAN 1 Siak district

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive-quantitative research design which is aimed at investigating the difficulties of second semester students’ English Education Study Program at Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Riau in pronouncing English vowel. The subjects of this study were the second semester students’ English Education Study Program at Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Riau. 32 students employed in this study were given the Pronounciation Test. The findings of this study revealed that the student knew about their difficulties in pronouncing English vowel. This result showed that the participants had good pronounciation skill. Based on this research the mean score of second semester students of English Education Study Program at Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Riau were good.Key Words: Pronounciation, English Vowel, English Education Sudy Program.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the issuance a Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Context of Accelerating Handling of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). The formulation of the problems in this research is how perception of PPKn students Universitas Riau towards the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Context of Accelerating Handling of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). The purpose of this research is to find out perception of PPKn students Universitas Riau towards the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Context of Accelerating Handling of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). The research method is descriptive quantitative. Based on the result of the research, it is found that the result of the calculation of respondents who answered “Agree” amounted to 71.5% where this range is in “Good” with a presence of 66.67% – 100%. Abstract

Abstrak: Abstract: This study aims to determine students' science process skills by applying the guided inquiry learning model to the substance pressure material. The research method used is a quasy experiment with a Posttest Only Control Design design. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The sample was selected two classes randomly from a homogeneous population of 33 students as the experimental class and 32 students the control class. The research instrument was a test of science process skills. The data were collected through giving process skills tests to the research sample after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively to see the average absorption capacity of students' science process skills and inferential by using the T-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the science process skills of students in the class that applied the guided inquiry learning model and the class that applied the conventional one. The average score of students' science process skills in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can improve the science process skills of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Pekanbaru on Substance Pressure material.Key Words: Guided inquiry, Science Process skills , Tekanan Zat
