Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how much the contribution of the explosive power of the leg muscles, the contribution of eye and foot coordination, the contribution of the explosive power of the leg muscles and the coordination of the eyes and feet with the shooting accuracy of the SSB Patriot Muda Kuok players. The study was conducted using a correlational research design which aims to determine how much the contribution of the independent variable, namely the leg muscle explosive power (X1) and eye and foot coordination (X2), to the dependent variable, namely the accuracy of the football shooting results (Y). As for the population in this study, all research objects, namely the Patriot football SSB players, which consisted of 25 people, namely Patriot Muda Kuok SSB players. Based on the results of the research that the author has described in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the leg muscle explosive power has contributed to the shooting accuracy of the Patriot Muda Kuok SSB, which is 69.38%. Furthermore, the results obtained by eye and foot coordination contributed to the shooting accuracy of the Young Patriot Kuok SSB of 84.45%. There is a joint contribution between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the coordination of the eyes and feet with the shooting accuracy of the SSB Patriot Muda Kuok of 85%.Key Words: Contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination withshooting accuracy

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students inparticipating in economics learning. The purpose of this reasearch is to find out.Implementation of learning strategies to improve thinking skills in increasing economiclearning outcomes at SMA N 1 Lirik. The population in this study were all students ofclass X SMA N 1 Lirik which consisted of 6 classes. The sample selection was carriedout by using a clutser sampling technique so that the class X IIS 1 sample was producedwith 25 students. The data collection techniques were observation using researchinstruments, observation sheet, teacher activity and student, and test technique usingpretest and posttest research instruments. Futhermore, the data were analyzed using thet test, and the normalized gain test with the help of SPSS version 22. When viewed fromthe results of statistical test analysis with the t test data, posttest value of theexperimental and control classes, then the sig value of the experimental and controlclasses, then the sig value is 0.000<0.05 and it can be said that there is significantdifference between pretest and posttest. And when viewed from the normalized gain test,the increase in the pretest and posttest scores obtained an n-gain value of 0,57 in themoderate category, it can be concluded that the learning strategy for increasingthinking skills ( SPPKB ) in class X can improve learning outcomes in economicssubjects.Key Words: Learning Strategies , SPPKB, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by many corruption cases that occur in Indonesia, one of which is Edhy Prabowo and the increasing cases of alleged bribery related to the export permit of lobster seeds to the investigation stage. The formulation of the problem in this study is how Riau University Students’ Perceptions of Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Committed by Civil Servants / State Administrators. The research objective was to determine the Riau University Student Perceptions of the Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Committed by Civil Servants / State Administrators. The benefits of research results for students are to provide an overview of Riau University Student Perceptions of the Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Committed by Civil Servants / State Administrators. This research method is descriptive quantitative, data collection instruments are quastionnaires, interviews, and documentation consisting of 8 indicator with 45 statements. The population in this study were students of the University of Riau as many 32.436 people. The sample in this study was taken using the Qouta Sampling technique, and sampling using the Icedental Sampling as many 200 people. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the average percentage value of the alternative answers to the dominant respondents were 76,39% where this range was in the Very Good category with the existence in the range 75,01% - 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the Perception of Riau University Student Against Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Committed by Civil Servants / State Administrators is Very Good.Key Words: A Criminal act of Corruption

Abstract

Absract : This study aims to analyze the influence of the role of parents on students' learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic on ips subjects in MTs Darul Falah Tangga Batu Rokan Hilir Regency. The population in this study was all students of MTs Darul Falah Tangga Batu. Data collection techniques are conducted using questionnaires to obtain data on the role of parents and students' learning motivations. The sample was taken by 94 students from 146 students, using stratified random sampling proportionate technique to determine the number of samples taken. The collected data is then tabulated and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed the value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) on the parent role variable was 0.486 and the learning motivation was 0.115. It shows that if the sig value > 0.05, then it can be concluded that there is an influence on the role of parents on students' learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic in ips subjects in MTs Darul Falah Tangga Batu Rokan Hilir regency and distribution normally. Based on this description, parents are encouraged to show more role in paying attention and encouraging their children to have optimal motivation in following the learning process in school, especially in Covid-19 conditions.Key words : Parent Role, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This thesis is entitled "The Development of Wahidin Education Foundation in Bagansiapiapi City in 1987-2014". The purpose of this research is to find out (1) how the history of the establishment of the Wahidin Education Foundation (2) How the development of the Wahidin College Foundation in 1987-2014 (3) The role of Chinese ethnicity in the Wahidin College Foundation. This research uses a historical approach, data collection methods with field studies in the form of observations and interviews as well as archival and document studies. This research was conducted at the Wahidin Education Foundation School in the City of Bagansiapiapi. After the data has been collected, data testing is carried out with source criticism, namely by testing the authenticity of the sources and comparing one data to another, such as comparing the results of interviews with written evidence. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that the Wahidin Education Foundation School was born with a background of several ethnic Chinese in Bagansiapiapi, in 1957 at which time the educational conditions in the city of Bagansiapiapi lacked fields for schools. So some of the ethnic Chinese and the surrounding community agreed to build the Wahidin Education Foundation, considering the importance of education. The founder of the Wahidin Education Foundation also hopes that this school can form a young generation who has competence, a sense of nationalism and a strong foundation of religious education according to their respective beliefs. The research results of this thesis are: (1) The Wahidin School of Education Foundation was founded in 1957, the first initiator was Kapitan Weng and was legally legalized in 1967 in front of a notary. (2) The Wahidin College Foundation School has experienced quite rapid development over the years, in several aspects such as the number of students, the number of teachers and several equipment that meet educational needs. (3) The role of Chinese ethnicity plays a very important role in the development of their special education in the city of Bagansiapiapi as evidenced by the establishment of the Wahidin Education Foundation.Key Words: Wahidin Educational Foundation in Bagansiapiapi City

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of booklet design in class X bacterial high school learning material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Riau University in March- Mei 2020. This research was conducted in 2 stages: the experimental stage and the second stage is Booklet Design that is analysis of the potential development of high school learning media Bacteria and Fungi class X material. The study used an experimental method of descriptive qualitative research design. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that endophytic bacteria isolated from Laban plants can be used as a booklet design of class X bacterial material for SMA KD 3.5 and fungi material KD 3.7.Key Words: Bacteria, Booklet, Fungi

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the spread of covid-19 in Indonesiawhich is increasing and expanding across regions and across countries accompanied bythe number of cases or the number of deaths. Likewise, as happened in the city ofPekanbaru, 1,174 were confirmed positive for the corona virus (Corona.Riau.go.id).This increase has an impact on the political, educational, economic, social, cultural,defense and security aspects, as well as the welfare of the community. Theimplementation of health quarantine is a joint responsibility of the Central Governmentand the Pekanbaru City Government as a form of protection for public health fromdisease or public health risk factors so that the COVID-19 outbreak and public healthemergency can be overcome immediately. Health quarantine is carried out throughobservation of diseases and public health risk factors for transportation means, people,goods, and/or the environment. As well as quarantine in the form of Large-Scale SocialRestrictions (PSBB). This research method is descriptive quantitative, the datacollection instruments used in this research are questionnaires, interviews anddocumentation. The variable of this research is Riau University Student Perceptionwhich consists of 11 indicators with a total of 27 questions based on ResearchInstruments. The population in this study were Riau University students with a totalpopulation of 32,436 people. Sampling from the entire population was taken using theQuota Sampling technique and to determine the respondents consisting of 10 peoplefrom each faculty at the University of Riau researchers used the Incidental Samplingsampling technique. Based on the results of research and recapitulation that has beencarried out by researchers, respondents who answered Strongly agree (SS) + Agree (S)42.4% + 41.8% = 84.2%. Thus, it can be concluded that the perception of RiauUniversity students towards the Pekanbaru mayor's regulation number 74 of 2020regarding large-scale social restrictions in the context of accelerating the handling ofCOVID-19 in Pekanbaru City is at 75.01% - 100% and is categorized as Very Good.Key Words: Student,perceptios,, large-scale social restrictions

Abstract

Abstract: This research investigated factors influencing students’ speaking performance and students’ speaking problems and also identified the reasons why those factors were considered to influence students’ speaking performance. This was a descriptive research that used both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Using cluster random sampling, this research took 28 students of English Education Department, Universitas Riau in the academic year 2019/2020 as the sample of the research. The data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires, open-ended questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. Data from all sources were triangulated to validate the data. The result of closed-ended questionnaires showed the factors influencing students’ speaking performance from the most influencing factors to the least one, as followed: (1) time for preparation and topical knowledge, (2) listeners’ support, (3) self-confidence, (4) feedback during speaking activity, (5) listening ability, (6) anxiety, (7) motivation to speak, (8) time allowed to perform a speaking task, and (9) pressure to perform well. Moreover, vocabulary mastery and interaction with native speakers were found to be other factors that were mentioned by the students. Furthermore, the research also showed the position of the speaking problems ranging from the problems that the most students encountered to the least one, as followed: (1) students used Indonesian language in English class, (2) they were worried about making mistakes, (3) they spoke very little or not at all, (4) students were shy to speak English, (5) they were fearful of criticism or losing face, (6) they could not think of anything to say in class, the last (7) students had no motivation to express themselves. Moreover, pronunciation issues were found to be another problem that was mentioned by the students.Keywords: Factors, Speaking Performance, Speaking Problems.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the DDFK (Definition Design Formulation Communication) learning model Problem Solving in class X Science 1 MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The benefit of this research is that teachers can be used as alternative learning models to help deliver material to be more innovative in teaching. Students are expected to be able to further enhance students' understanding and learning outcomes in physics. This type of research is a pre-experimental design research in the form of a one-shot case study. The subjects of the study were students of class X Science 1 with 32 female students at MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research instrument used cognitive learning performance test questions about Work and Energy material. Data collection techniques in the form of providing learning outcomes tests conducted after learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by describing student cognitive learning outcomes. From the results of the study, the average student absorption is 70.75% with a good category and the effectiveness of learning with a good category. Seen from each learning meeting conducted, the highest average absorption capacity was at the first meeting, which was 84% with a good category, while the average absorption capacity was the lowest at the third meeting, which was 53% with a fairly good category.Key Words: Cognitive Learning Outcomes, DDFK Problem Solving, Work and Energy

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the supporting facilities for the implementation of learning and the relationship between problem-based learning through e-learning and students' critical thinking skills. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were students of class XI SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. The problem based learning based of students' critical thinking skills with indicators of analyzing, synthesizing, recognizing and solving problems, concluding, and evaluating. The collection of data on critical thinking skills is a survey with observation. Based on the results of the research, SMA Islam As-shofa stated that it has adequate facilities for e-learning. Students on average have facilities in the form of hardware, software, and a learning community. It can be concluded that the implementation of learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model through e-learning on the aspect of students' critical thinking skills is running well in accordance with the relationship of e-learning activities with problem based learning and has been accompanied by facilities that support adequate learning.Key Words: E-learning, Problem Based Learning, Critical Thinking, Facilities
