Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe the outcomes learning of IX SMP students by implementing constructivist approach using virtual lab on magnetism and its uses and to find out the improvement of the outcomes learning of IX SMP students on magnetism and its uses. This research method is quasi experiment (Post-test only control design) applied to student of SMPN 1 Bangkinang Kota and the instrument of this research is cognitive learning outcomes test on magnetism and its uses. The object of this research is experiment class that given any treatment (implementing constructivist approach using virtual lab) and control class that implementing conventional approach. The result of the study shows that learning outcomes of IX SMP students that implementing constructivist approach using virtual lab on magnetism and its uses is higher than the learning outcomes of IX SMP students that implementing conventional approach, and there is also an improvement about the learning outcomes of IX SMP student that implementing constructivist approach using virtual lab on magnetis and its uses.Key Words : Constructivist Approach, Virtual Lab, Learning Outcomes, Magnetism and its uses.

Abstract

Abstract: This development aims to produce an e-module of biodiversity material based on science literacy for high school students. This research was carried out at the FKIP Biology Education Study Program, Riau University, SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru from November 2021 to April 2022. The instruments used are validation sheets and response questionnaires. The validation sheet consists of 3 aspects, namely aspects of e-module format and graphics, aspects of content feasibility (presentation techniques and science literacy), and aspects of language assessment.. The results of the phase 1 limited trial obtained an average score of 3.82 with an excellent category. Meanwhile, the results of the phase 2 limited trial got an average score of 3.83 with an excellent category. The results of this study show that the e-module of biodiversity material is based on quality science literacy so that it can be used as a learning resource.Key Words: E-module, Science Literacy, Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstract: Covid 19 has had many impacts on various fields, one of which is the field of education. SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras began to apply PTM-Limited in September 2021. In implementing PTM-Limited, several problems were found that students complained about, such as assessments that were charged with assignments and a decrease in understanding of the material.The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the evaluation of the biology teaching and learning process in limited Face-to-face learning in grade XI science at SMAN 1 Pkl. Kuras. The samples of this study were students and teachers of grade XI science at SMAN 1 Pkl.kuras. The instruments to collect the data were questionnaires and interviews. To analyze the data used descriptive quantitative analysis techniques and percentages. After analyzing the data, it can be concluded: the learning planning aspect is categorized as good with a percentage of 71.72%, the learning implementation aspect is categorized as good with a percentage of 72.91%, and learning assessment aspect is categorized as good with a percentage of 64.13%. So overall, the total average percentage of the evaluation of the teaching and learning process of biology at PTM-Limited in class XI IPA SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras is 69.59% categorized as good.Key Words: Learning evaluation, Biology teaching and learning,Limited Face to face Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the diversity of insects in lowland rice farming in Bungaraya Village, Siak Regency as a biology pocket book design for class X SMA. The study was carried out in lowland rice farming in Bungaraya Village for insect sampling. Meanwhile, insect identification was carried out at the Laboratory of the Biology Education Study Program, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, FKIP, Riau University. This research was conducted in October - November 2021. This research consisted of two stages, namely identification and analysis of insect diversity, the second stage was the design of a pocket book. Parameters measured in this study were insect species composition, insect diversity index, air temperature, humidity, and light intensity. The results showed that the diversity of insects at rice planting age had different diversity. Insect diversity at stations I, II, and III was moderate. The diversity index value at 30 days of rice planting age was 1.87, 60 days of rice planting age was 1.58, and 90 days of rice planting age was 1.55. The types of insects found in lowland rice Oryza sativa Kampung Bungaraya consisted of 5 orders, namely Odonata, Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Lepidoptera. The results of the study can be used as an alternative source of learning in the form of a pocket book for learning biology in high school.Key Words: Insect, Arthropoda, Pocket Book, Bungaraya

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between arm-shoulder muscle explosive power and leg muscle strength with smash accuracy in female badminton extracurricular at SMP Negeri 4 Tambang, Tambang District. It was carried out in the field of SMP Negeri 4 Tambang, Tambang District on November 20, 2019 to November 23, 2019. The population in this study were female badminton extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 4 Tambang, Tambang District who actively participated in badminton extracurricular activities, with a sample of 21 people. This research was taken through arm muscle explosive power test, leg muscle strength measurement test, Smash accuracy. Data collection This research was conducted using a correlation research design. Data analysis was carried out using product moment correlational analysis statistics. Before the data was analyzed, the normalization test was carried out with the Lilliefors test. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a relationship between arm and shoulder muscle power with smash accuracy on women's badminton extracurricular at SMP Negeri 4 Mining, where rcount (0.550) > rtable (0.532). There is no correlation between muscle strength and smash accuracy in women's badminton extracurricular at SMP Negeri 4 Mining, where rcount (0.048) > rtable (0.532). There is a relationship between arm and shoulder muscle strength and muscle strength with the accuracy of the extracurricular smash of women's badminton at SMP Negeri 4 Mining, where rcount (0.550) > rtable (0.532). So the results obtained from this study that the physical condition is good enough to get the accuracy of badminton smash. From several physical conditions, the variables are arm and shoulder muscle power and leg muscle strength. Key Words: Arm-shoulder explosive power, leg muscle strength, smash hit accuracy

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the types, forms and meanings of giseigoand giongo in the comic Online One Punch Man Vol 1-3 Karya One according to thephonological point of view using the theory of onomatope forms (Akimoto, 2002)phonological theory (Tsujimura, 1996) and the theory of vowel and consonant meaning(Hamano, 1986). This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The source of thisresearch data is Online Comics One punch man. The results of this study show that stopvoiceless sounds coming from the velar are characterized by the consonant /k/ whilestop voiced sound coming from the velar and heavy sounds are characterized with theconsonant /g/, retained sounds are characterized by small tsu, nasal voiced sounds arecharacterized by the consonant /n/, vibrating sounds from the palatal are marked withthe consonant /r/ and continuous sounds are characterized by repetition.Key Words: Onomatope, giseigo, giongo, phonology.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aim to analyze the completeness of the tools and materialsfor the biology laboratory practicum based on the basic competencies of the 2013curriculum in class XI biology subjects. The type of this research is descriptivequantitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Thetime of this research is in January-February 2022. The preparation of researchinstrument is carried out at the Study Program of Biology Education, Riau University.Data and data sources were obtained from biology laboratories, teachers andlaboratory assistants. The data collection instrument in the study were in the form ofobservation sheets and interview sheets. Based on the results of data analysis, it isknown that the biological laboratory equipment and materials at SMAN 8 Pekanbarubased on the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 24 of 2007obtained an average of 90.33 % with a very complete category. Meanwhile, thebiological laboratory equipment and materials at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru based on thebasic competencies of the curriculum 2013 obtained an average of 89.25 % with a verycomplete category. So it can be concluded that the tools and materials at SMAN 8Pekanbaru have met the standards that have been set, both in terms of indicators ofeducational equipment or teaching aids, experimental equipment, and consumables.Keywords: Analysis, Tools, Materials, Biology laboratories, Curriculum 2013

Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on analyzing flouting of conversational principle conversational maxim in anime Back Street Girl’s Gokudolls. This study is aimed to describe types of Grice’s conversational maxims frequently floated in anime Back Street Girl’s Gokudolls to describe the implicature of the floats of the maxims. The writer employs descriptive qualitative approarch to reach and conclude the research findings in this study. In analyze the writer refers to Grice’s cooperative principle theory, and means-ends analysis by Geoffrey Leech. The data was obtained by listening to the conversations spoken by the characters in the anime Back Street Girl's Gokudolls. Then the speech that flouting the maxims and cause implicatures are recorded and marked. The results of this study indicate that the characters in the anime Back Street Girl's Gokudolls flouting the four maxims of cooperation, maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of manner. Of the four maxims, the most flouting are in the maxim manner and the least is the flouting of the maxim of quantity.Key Word: Implicature, Cooperative Principle, Back Street Girl’s Gokudolls, Anime

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to analyze physics is one of the skills needed in today's 21st century. This study aims to determine the ability to analyze students and to determine the difference in the ability to analyze high school students using the KIT Mechanics media and not using the media in the Business and Energy material for class X SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control design research model. The population of this study was all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kandis for the academic year 2020/2021, with a sample involving 30 students from each class X IPA 1 as the experimental class, and X IPA 3 as the control class. The research instrument used was in the form of post-test questions on the ability to analyze physics in the form of objective questions accompanied by reasons for the answers, totaling 20 questions. In the matter of the ability to analyze physics, there are 3 indicators, including indicators of analyzing C4, evaluating C5, and creating C6. Then the results of the research were analyzed descriptively in the form of the ability to analyze physics and inferential in the form of normality test, homogeneity test, and independent-sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that learning using the Mechanics KIT media was able to improve the ability to analyze physics in the Business and Energy class material. X SMA Negeri 1 Kandis. This can be seen in the average obtained in each experimental class and control class.Keywords: Mechanics KIT Media, ability to analyze physics

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been carried out which aims to determine the types and benefits of yard plants in Desa Sungai Banyak Ikan and to design a pocket book on the types and uses of yard plants by the community in Desa Sungai Banyak Ikan for high school biology learning. The research was conducted in the community yard of Desa Sungai Banyak Ikan and the PMIPA FKIP UNRI laboratory from March to April 2022. Research data collection was carried out through a preliminary study to the field to determine the state and enviromental conditions in the research location, direct observation to each resident’s house that was used as the research location, interviews with residents, and identification of yard plants. The result of the study were used to design a Biology pocket book for high school students. This handbook is designed for biodiversity materials. The design of the pocket book was carried out in April 2022 until the data collection stage. There are two stages of pocket book design research, namely the analysis stage and the design stage. The analysis phase consists of curriculum analysis and subject material analysis. The design steg includes making lesson plans and designing a pocket book. The conclusions obtained from the results of an inventory of the types and benefits of yard plants by the Desa Sungai Banyak Ikan community as a pocket book design for high school biology learning are the types of plants found around the residents’ yards, namely 20 types of ornamental plants, 5 types of medicinal plants, 23 types of fruit plants, 6 types of spice plants, and 7 types of vegetable plants. In addition, a pocket book design is producet that can be used as an additional reference for Biology learning, especially biodiversity material.Key Words: Yard Plants, Desa Sungai Banyak Ikan, Pocket Book
