Abstract

Abstract: Role play is one of teaching techniques that can be used to familiarize students to use the language orally. It provides more oportunities for the students to use the language orally and build interaction with each other. This study was a pre- experimental research. This research was aimed to find out the effect of role play on the speaking ability of the first year students of SMP N 14 Pekanbaru. This reasearch was conducted toward the first year students of SMP N 14 Pekanbaru from May to June 2015. The subject of this research was class VII.7 which consisted of 32 students. The data was collected by giving a pre-test and a post-test to students in the form of picture descripyion. The data was assesed by the three raters and analyzed by using SPSS 20. The result of the reserch showed the interval score in the pre-test and the post-test was 10.49 where the score of the pre-test was 50 and the score of the post test increased to 60.38. Therefore, it can be concluded that role play gives positive effects to the students’ speaking ability.Keywords:Role Play, Speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to find out the ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Kubu in reading comprehension. This research focuses on students’ reading comprehension in terms of finding main ideas, factual information, the meaning of vocabulary, identifying references and making inferences,.The data were collected using reading comprehension test with multiple choice type. The test contained 25 items. The try out was conducted to check the validity and reliability of the test. Based on the research, it was found out that first: the ability of the second year students in reading comprehension is in the mediocre level with the mean score of 54.9. Second, the students’ mean score in finding the main idea is in good level with the mean score of 61.47, finding the factual information is in mediocre level with the mean score of 51.76, in finding the meaning of vocabulary is in good level with the mean score of 61.17, in finding references is in mediocre level with the mean score of 53.5, in finding inference is in mediocre level with the mean score of 46.47. As a conclusion, the highest score obtained by the students is in finding main ideas with the mean score of 61,47 which is categorized.into good level , and the lowest score that the students got is in finding inference ,with the mean score of 46.47 which is categorized into mediocre level. This result of this study suggest that the students to learn more about reading comprehension.Keywords : Study, Ability, Reading Comprehension.

Abstract

Abstract: Cooperative has expressly designated by the government as the container economy of the people. Government policy is in accordance with the 1945 Constitution article 33, paragraph 1. The development and growth of a cooperative is highly dependent on the quality and participation of its members. So that the success of the cooperative to be realized, the participation of members should be increased. There are several ways to increase the participation, that is material and non-material. With outstanding service quality will encourage the participation of members in participating in cooperative activities. This is due to benefit members and the results obtained when joining a cooperative member. This study aims to determine whether the dimensions of service quality has a significant impact on the participation of members of Koperasi Bina Sejahtera Pekanbaru. The method used is quantitative, data needed by researchers is a questionnaire and other documents that support of research undertaken. From the research that has been done, the regression equation Y = -3.818 + 0,588X1 + 0,355X2 + 0,334X3 + 0,118X4 + 0,134X5. Simultaneously the service quality affects participation (F-test of 9.113 with sig. 0.000 <0.05) and partially (t test) dimension of empathy and physical evidence did not affect participation. Testing the coefficient of determination shows the quality of services affects the participation of 43.5% (adjusted R-square = 0.435).Keywords: Foreign Ownership, Government Ownership and Agency Costs

Abstract

Abstract: The performance of teachers was instrumental in realizing the ultimate goal of the school, and it's all but regardless of how the leadership and policies provided by the school principal. Performance is influenced by various factors one of which revenue and salaries. Revenues have an impact tranquility and comfort of teachers in teaching. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the leadership style of the principal and income of teachers on teacher performance in Junior High School at District of Rambah. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative method. The survey results revealed the principal's leadership style Junior High School at District of Rambah tend to use democratic leadership style, while revenues included into the category of being a teacher and teacher performance included in either category. SPSS revenue from the test results of the most influential teachers on teacher performance in the Junior High School at District of Rambah that is t count (5,005).Keywords: Leadership, Incomes, Performance

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research as a result of their undisciplined students with violating school rules. In this case the school must devise an effective rules against the student discipline code. regulations in education should not contain elements of violence because it can be bad for the development of students. One form of rule that is in use at the school is a point system. According Sceafer (In Yusransyah: 2013) points system is pretty good punishment applied in schools, because this penalty is objective, not using physical violence, enacted as soon as possible and the punishment must be clear and bright. Penalty points also involve the parents so they can help school monitor and awareness to students who commit violations. This study aims to determine whether there Influence Points System Implementation Rules Against Student Disciplinary Character at SMPN 1 Bantan Bengkalis. The population in this study were all students at SMPN 1 Bantan Bengkalis. The sample is determined by using purposive sampling of students who earn as many points as 34 people. Instrument data collection is a questionnaire consisting of 38 questions about the disciplinary character students before and after getting points. Data were analyzed using t-test. hypothesis "There Influence Points System Rules Against Discipline Character SMPN 1 Bantan Bengkalis” acceptable. This is evidenced by a series of t-test to compare the character of discipline for students before and after getting points. From the calculation results obtained t t0 = -8.73 and t table or t = 2.03 = 8.73> 2:03. Due to larger than than t then Ho is rejected.Keywords: Point System Rules, Discipline Characters

Abstract

Abstract: The research is entitled “the effect of group counseling toward the self adjustment level of the tenth grade forestry vocational school of pekanbaru in 2014/2015 academic year. It is aimed at 1) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students before the group counseling was implemented. 2) finding out the ongoing implementation process of counseling the tenth grade students. 3) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students after the group counseling was implemented. 4) finding out the differences between pre-implemetation and post-implementation of group counseling toward tenth grade students’ self adjustment level. 5) finding out whether there is an effect of group counseling toward tenth grade students’ self adjustment level. The research subjects are 100 students of the tenth grade of forestry vocational school of pekanbaru. 30% of the population that is equal to 30 persons were taken as samples by using random sampling. As a description of students’ self adjustment level before the implemetation of group counseling, most of them are categorized as unfavorable, a small portion of the students are categorized as very unfavorable, and none of them are categorized as pretty good, good, and very good. While, as a description of post-implemetation of group counseling, the students’ self adjustment level are 16,67% categorized as good, mostly 83,33% are categorized as very good, and none of them are categorized as very unfavorable, pretty unfavorable, and very unfavorable. Based on the hypothesis result test, it shoes that there is significant effect of group discussion toward students’ self adjustment which is amounted to 48%.Keywords: Group Counseling and Self-Adjustment.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study was conducted to analyze the quality level of customer satisfaction at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Population of this study are customers of PT. Bank Negara Indinesia (Persero0 Tbk in 2014 amounting to 25.500 and 10% of the population sample of 100 respondents. The sampling based technique incidental. Data were collected through a questionnaire while using data analysis techniques importance performance analysis (IPA). The results showed that most customers are quite satisfied with the services given PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Seen from the results of testing the level of customers satisfaction with the method importance performance analysis (IPA) there are seven attributes that go into quadrant A ( top priority) which means considered important by customers but not maximum or unsatisfactory.Key words: Customers Satisfaction, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA)

Abstract

Abstract: Conformity (Three Angel Fit) between program management and members explained the quality level of participation of members of a cooperative. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability (Three Angle Fit) between programs, management and members in improving the participation of members in the Cooperative Taxi driver (Kopsi) Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive method. The survey results revealed there is conformance (Three angle fit) program, the management and members in improving partiisipasi cooperative members on taxi drivers. With the average percentage of Three angle fit (three conformity) in this study was 94.7% including the appropriate category and yield enough percentage of member participation in cooperative taxi drivers (Kopsi) already is high that the average total amount that is equal to 96 , 1%.Keywords: Three angle fit, programs, management, members

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to examine the effect of Education and training for Service Cooperative. The population used in this study there are 42 cooperative management 15 cooperative at Subdistrict Ukui, Pelalawan, the sample in this study were 36 cooperative management, type of data used is quantitative. Data analysis technique using multiple linear analysis, t test and f test with significance level of 0,05%. The result showed that the education and training simultaneously affect the service. Based on the partial results of the study showed education no significant effect on the service, meanwhile training significant effect on the service. The coefficient of determination shows that the education and training care service affect 65,1% and the remaining 34,9% are not described in this research model.Keywords: Education, Training and Service

Abstract

Abstract: Somebody who could not understand themselves and others is the one that had negative self-understanding. The aims of this research were 1) To know the describe of X class boarding school student’ self understanding before doing the guidance group, 2) To know the process of guidance service group in term to increase the students’ self understanding in dormitory life, 3) To know the scribe of self-understanding of X class boarding school students’ after doing the guidance group, 4) To know the diffrence of X class boarding school students’ self-understanding before and after doing the guidance group, 5) To know the effect of guidance group to the increase of X class boarding school students’ self-understanding. This research used pre-experimental method with one group pretest-postest design. The subjects of this research were X SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru of academic year 2014/2015 that contained 100 students’. The sample determine used purposive sampling technic and the samples of this research were 30 participants. To distinguish students’ self-understanding before and after the guidance service group, this research used “t” test and thitung had a greater score than ttabel at 5% level (10,69 > 2,000). Thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which meant there were significant diferences between students’ self-understanding before and after doing guidance service group in this research. Then, the result of product moment test r = 0,36 and determination coefisien r2= 0,12. Based on the research that has been done it could be concluded that after doing guidance service group to X class boarding school SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru students’ self-understanding has increased in the amount of 12%.Key Words: Guidance Service Group, Self-understanding, Boarding School.
