Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and practical LKS which based open-ended approach. This research is a kind of research and development whose three stages of reseach, including front-end analysis, prototype and assesment. Technique of data analysis is done by descriptive analysis. From the result of this reserach, it was produced the valid and practical LKS which based open-ended approach for triangle and rectangle material for the first grade of junior high school. Validity, according math experts, means after revising and practicality means after trying out toward students of first grade of SMP 1 Baso. So LKS based open-ended for  triange and rectangle material which constructed by researcher has been valid from form, content and language used. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is get a product module assisted maket media that valid and practic. Kind of research was used in this Research of Development. Model of development were used are 4-D, they are define, design, develop  and disseminate. Prosedure of research have been done in there phase, they are phase front-end analysis, prototype phase and assessment phase.  Base of research was know module assisted maket media have got valid. Result test praktikalitas via questionnaire responds, observation and interview, module assisted maket media is practic. Indeed, quality of product development was conducted valid and practical bases on the result validate and praktikalitas have been done.Key words: development, module, maket media, biology learning

Abstract

Students ability are low to understands physics concept that cause misconceptions incorrectly concept. In the effort tackling student misconceptions, earlier have among been differentiated student which misconceptions, know concept and lack of knowledge by using CRI (Certainty of Response is Index) method. To the effect this research to analyze student misconceptions and what material that misconceptions happens. Student of X.2 and X.3 MAN 1 Bukittinggi that will be analyzed misconceptions by give test multiple choice  with reasoning  end as much 30 problems and will be analyzed by using CRI method. Result of research to point out misconceptions that happening high enough. Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to know that understanding of student mathematics concept with applying Student Facilitator and Explaining model is better than conventional study. This is a quasi-experimental study, the design of Randomized Control Group Only Design. Research procedures can be divided into three phases: preparation, conduct implementation and completion. Research instrument used was test students understanding of math concepts. Test instrument was developed by compiling test, validation test questions, test and analysis of test items. Analysis using t-test. Results of this study showed an increase in students understanding of mathematical concepts, differences in average value, standard deviation and variance between the experimental class and the control class.Key words: models of student facilitator learning and explaining, the ability of understanding mathematical concepts

Abstract

This reseach aims to construct an interactive CD as media instructional for mathematics at the algebra arithmetic operations are valid and practical. This development research uses 4-D model, the definition, design, development and disseminate. This research is only done through the development stage. In the definition phase is done analyzing the syllabus and students. Furthermore, the design of a prototype interactive CD as well as a research instrument validation sheet and questionnaire. At this stage of development, interactive CD tested for validity by experts, and performed limited testing to see the practicality. This research has produced an interactive CD media with valid category based on the results of the validity test is 81.16% and get a positive response from students as test subjects practicalities is 86.21%, so practically categorized interactive CD media.Keywords: Interactive CDs, Autoplay media studio 8, Operating arithmetic algebraic

Solution skripsi this starting  from the root of the matter that is (1)book which available in school and have personally by student still limited, many student which gone off at subject physics because the ganerally assum, physics at difficul and boring. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine whether the ability of mathematical connections with students through contextual teaching and learning REACT strategy is better than the ability of students to learn mathematical connection with conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental design with a randomized control group design only. Research procedures can be divided into three phases: preparation, implementation phase and the completion phase. The research instrument used is the mathematical connection ability tests. The hypothesis was tested with the help of MINITAB using one-way t-test. The conclusion of this study is the ability of students in the application of mathematical connections contextual teaching and learning with REACT strategy is better than the ability of mathematical connections in the control classes. Key words: contextual teaching and learning with REACT strategy, the ability of mathematical connections

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the students’ achievement and activities by applying cooperative teaching of team assisted individualization (TAI) type and PQ4R strategy at the grade students’ of SMAN 1 Tigo Nagari. The design of this research is guasi experimental research by randomized control group post-test only  design. The procedurs of this research ensists of preparation, operation and post operation. The instruments of this research are test and observation sheet. The technique of data analysis used by the research was t-test. The result of the research shars that there is a significance differences of man score, standard denation, and variant among the control and experimental class. Therefore, it can be encluded that the students’ achievement of experimental class is better than the control class.Key words: cooperative teaching, type TAI and PQ4R Strategy, biology teaching

Abstract

This development research aimed to result mathematics lesson plan with PBL base educatinal character valid and practice. This lesson plan develop used 4-D model  which modified beccome 3-D. In this  research data colleting by using validation sheet, observation sheet, interview guidance, practicality questionnaire, and student evaluation sheet. Technic of analysis data of validation result, questionnaire observer of critic  and creative character is statistic descriptive. Mean while result of observation to logic thinking charackter, interview, and self evaluation analized with descriptive. Result of research show that lesson plan are fulfill valid and practice criterion also can develop student logic thinking, critic, and creative character.Key words: lesson plan development, Problem Based Learning (PBL),Character education
