Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know mathematics communication ability of students by applaying cooperative learning model type TTW at class XI.IPS SMAN 1 Sungayang. The study was quasi eksperimental research with the draft of research was Randomized Control Group Only Design. The subject of this research obtained from the final test. The hypothesis of this research was tested by MIINITAB program named t-test one way. The results showed a difference in mean value, variance and standard deviation in the second grade sample. From the result of t-test, research obtained that p-value 0.00, so the hypothesis of this research is accepted at significant standard α = 0.05. So, concluded that the mathematics communication ability of students was by applaying of cooperative learning model type TTW higher than students in conventional leraning.Keywords:  Cooperative Learning, Think Talk Write (TTW), Mathematics Communication Ability

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to find out students’ learning outcome of biology subject in applying cooperative strategy type two stay two stray by use of problem solving method for students in class XI sains SMAN 7 Padang. Kind of this research is pseudo experimental research in randomized control group only design. There are three phase of the research procedure, namely: pre-operation, operation and post operation. The research instrument of this research is achievement test. There are some phase to design this instrument test, first, creating the test, doing validation testing, doing try out, and analyzing the question. Technique of data analysis is normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. The finding of this research shows that there are differences of mean score, deviation standard, and variants between experimental class and control class. It shows that students’ learning outcome in experimental class that applying cooperative strategy type two stay two stray by use of problem solving method is better than control class. Abstract

LKSS developmental research physics gets problem solvings basis on brazes x semester II. at SMA aims to result LKS physics gets basis Problem Solving  one that valid, practical and effective for student to braze x semester II. at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban. This research included research development. This research comprise of three phases which is: define, design, and develop. Feasibility quiz is done on SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban that involves 2 teachers, 3 lecturers and 35 students. In this research have resulted LKS physics gets basis problem solving one that valid, practical and effective. From analisis data can be concluded that (1) Result validate to LKS physics gets basis  problem solving one that is developed for class x semester II. is so valid. (2) test-driving Result those are done at class x 7 at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban Kab.50 kota point out that have accomplished praktikalitass criterion which is gets to be used and is performed deep learning process. (3) test-driving Result those are done at class x 7 at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban Kab. 50 kota out that have accomplished effectiveness criterion which is: (a ) Activity studies student increase use LKSs afters physics gets basis problem solving . (b ) Motivation study student increase use LKSs afterses physics gets basis problem solving.  (c ) student Response to learnings with use LKS physics gets basis problem solving really practical. (d. ) Result studies student increase mengunakan LKSs afters physics gets basis problem solving  , with average value brazes 82,73.Key words:  development, LKS, Problem Solving

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the effectivity of using module in Biology learning process contextual-based in “Ecosystem” for SMAN 1 Rambatan, class X. This is semu-experimental research and descriptive by Randomized Control Group Only Design. The procedure of this research divided into 3 steps; planning, actuating, and finishing. The research instrument is final test, observation paper, angket. The result of this research shows that there is the difference of mean, standar deviasi and variants between experiment-class and control-class. The study result of students that given module is better than students that taught by convensional system. So, we can conclude that the effectiveness of the module that used can be reached.Key Words : effectivity, module, contextual, ecosystem

Abstract

This study aims to determine the students mathematics learning outcomes with the application of quantum teaching learning model with mind mapping techniques in class IX MTsN Sungayang 2013-2014 school year. This is a quasi-experimental study, the design of randomized controlled group only design. Other research procedures can be divided into three stages: preparation, execution and completion. The research instrument used is the achievement test. The data analysis technique used is the t test. The results show the value of the research hypothesis was accepted with a P-Value of 0.05. The finding is due to the influence of the characteristics of the application of quantum teaching learning model with mind mapping techniques. The application of this model will lead to the learning atmosphere will be more fun and also enhance students understanding of mathematical concepts. Joyful learning will improve students understanding of the material. Research hypotheses that have been proposed in this study received. Therefore concluded, student learning outcomes in the experimental class (quantum teaching learning model with mind mapping technique) is better than the control class (conventional).Key words: quantum model of teaching, mind mapping, learning mathematics

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the result of student physics at applying of constructivism the study approach with LKS. The type of this research is guasi experiment with research device in the form of Posttest only control group design. Research procedur differentiated into three phase that is preparation, execution and solution. Analyze technique of data is used normalitas test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The Result of research, the first of result at affective aspect and  psychomotor experience improvement at each meet. Average value the result of student physics in experiment class is 79.703 while average value in control class is 70.465. The Result of research also shows raised hypothesis at this research is accepted, so that it can be concluded, the result of student in experiment class which applying of constructivism the study approach with LKS is better than of control classes.Key Words: constructivism approach, LKS, Physics Study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah media komik matematika berbasis pendidikan karakter yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model 4-D (pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran) yang pada penelitian ini dimodifikasi menjadi tiga tahapan (3-D). Tahap pendefinisian dilakukan analisis muka belakang dan analisis tugas. Tahap perancangan merupakan pembuatan prototip dan instrumen penelitian. Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan uji kualitas hasil pengembangan (uji validitas dan praktikalitas). Uji validitas dilakukan dengan mengisi lembar validasi oleh para pakar. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket respon kepada siswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media komik yang valid dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: media komik matematika, pendidikan karakter

Abstract

The aim of this research was to crate physic cartoon media which valid and pratical that can help the seventh grade students to understand the movement. This is a research and development with 4-D research design. The research procedures divide into three steps, namely defining, designing, and developing. The research instrument that used is validation sheets, observation sheets and response questionnaire sheets. The research instrument is developed by arranging the item instrument, doing the validity test, and doing try out and analyzing the practical result. The finding of the research showed that 1). The physic cartoon about movement is valid with percentage 81,16% (consist of content validity and construct validity) from physics education expert’s aspect. 2) The use of physics cartoon media about movement in learning process did not have problem, in practical meaning, it use depend on observer’s and students’ evaluation.Key words: Development, cartoon media, physics subject, movement.

Abstract

This research aim to know whether ability of mathematical conceptual understanding student which get a treatment model problem solving learning higher than which get a treatment conventional learning at VII grade in SMPN 1 Batusangkar. This kind of research is a quasi experiment with device is Randomized Control Group Only Design. Data ability of mathematical conceptual understanding obtained from final test. Hypothesis tested with MINITAB Program one way t-test. The result of this research is ability of mathematical conceptual understanding student mean experiment class 78.76, control class 68.35. Hypothesis test P-value = 0.0000, so that hypothesis this research accepted. Concluding that ability of mathematical conceptual understanding student which get a treatment model problem solving learning higher than which get a treatment conventional learning.Key words: Model Problem Solving learning, ability of mathematical conceptual understanding

Abstract

The porpuse of this research is to know the student result study in Biology subject, by giving cooperative type Game tournament assisted crossword. Kind of this research is pseudo experiment, research design is randomized control posttest only designs group. Research instruments are learning result test. Data was analysed by T test. The result show that differences of avarge value, standard deviation and variances of experiment and control classes.
