Elementary is published twice a year (every six months, i.e. January and July) as scientific communication means of academic people in the study of Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education. Editorial Board receives the articles from the educators, observers, researchers on Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education to be published after having tight selection, peer review, and serious editting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the strategy of improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education teacher candidate in STAIN Kudus. The research method used is qualitative research method. This research used observation, interview and documentation for the data collection tools and analyzed by using interactive analysis. The result of the research shows that the strategy of improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers in STAIN is divided into several strengthenings, namely strengthening of Islam, strengthening the field of PAI study, as well as the strengthening of foreign languages (English and Arabic), both through intra-curricular or co-curricular. Changes in the world of work in educational institutions should be prepared by universities preparing educators and other education personnel so that a student must be trained and trained to have the competencies described in three levels; perform, manage, and evaluate the process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of professionalism, teacher work discipline, and their interactions in improving the quality of education at SDN 04 Cipedak and MIN 08 Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The results showed, 1) there is a significant influence between teacher professionalism on the quality of education, teacher professionalism has an effect of 78.5% on the quality of education and the remaining 21.5% is caused by other factors that the authors do not observe. 2) teacher work discipline on the quality of education has an effect of 83.5% and the remaining 16.5% is caused by other factors that are not observed by the authors. 3) the results of the joint analysis between the professionalism and discipline of teacher work on improving the quality of education are positive and the effect is very strong, this is indicated by the R-value of 0.894 and the R square value of 0.799 or 79.9%. Based on the results of this study, what the principal must do is to strive to improve human resources, especially teachers as human educators to be more competent in their profession by providing opportunities to participate in various training both held by the school or from outside the school.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh profesionalisme, disiplin kerja guru serta interaksi keduanya dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SDN 04 Cipedak dan MIN 08 Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptip dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan teknik analisa data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 orang guru di SDN 04 Cipedak dan 15 orang guru di MIN 08 Jagakarsa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, 1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara profesionalisme guru terhadap mutu pendidikan, profesionalisme guru mempunyai pengaruh sebesar 78,5% terhadap mutu pendidikan dan sisanya 21,5% disebabkan oleh factor lain yang tidak diamati penulis. 2) disiplin kerja guru terhadap  mutu pendidikan mempunyai pengaruh sebesar 83,5% dan sisanya sebesar 16,5% disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diamati penulis. 3) hasil analisa secara bersama-sama antara profesionalisme dan disiplin kerja guru terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan bernilai positif dan pengaruhnya sangat kuat, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai R sebesar 0,894 dan nilai R square 0,799 atau 79,9%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, hal yang harus dilakukan kepala sekolah adalah mengupayakan peningkatan sumberdaya manusia khususnya guru selaku insan pendidik agar lebih kompeten dalam profesinya dengan memberikan kesempatan untuk mengikuti berbagai pelatihan baik yang diadakan oleh pihak sekolah atapun dari luar sekolah.

Abstract

Model baca, tulis, dan bagi adalah sebuah model untuk mengetahui kegiatan literasi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penerapan diari baca, diari menulis, dan diari berbagi. Dalam menggali data, penelitian ini menggunakan angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasilnya penerapan ketiga diari tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ada 37 orang mahasiswa. Dalam mengerapkan model baca, tulis, dan bagi pada penguatan literasi mahasiswa terdiri dari tiga tahapan: kesatu, persiapan kedua, pelaksanaan, dan ketiga adalah analisis. Dalam waktu 30 menit mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan rata-rata membaca 25 halaman. Dan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam waktu 30 menit adalah 10 paragraf. Setiap mahasiswa dalam kegiatan berbagi dapat menyampaikan pada rata-rata 3 orang.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memainkan peranan yang sangat penting dalam membentuk generasi yang siap menghadapi era globalisasi yang penuh dengan tantangan. Pendidikan Islam harus mampu menyelengarakan proses pembekalan pengetahuan, penanaman nilai, pembentukan sikap dan karakter, pengembangan bakat, kemampuan dan keterampilan, menumbuhkembangkan potensi akal, jasmani dan rohani yang optimal, seimbang  dan sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Namun pada kenyataanya, pendidikan Islam khususnya di Indonesia telah berjalan dalam lorong krisis yang panjang. Pendidikan Islam telah kehilangan pijakan filosofisnya yang hakiki, yang kemudian berdampak pada tidak jelasnya arah dan tujuan yang hendak dicapai. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, munculah gagasan Pendidikan Islam Terpadu; sebuah model pendidikan yang didesain dengan segala keterpaduan dari berbagai sisi dan aspek pendidikan yang meliputi visi, misi, kurikulum, pendidik, suasana pembelajaran dan lain sebagainya. Sekolah Islam Terpadu sebagai bentuk satuan pendidikan memiliki peran yang strategis dalam membentuk, membangun, membina dan mengarahkan siswa menjadi manusia yang seutuhnya, manusia yang berkarakter dan berkepribadian yang positif, memahami diri sendiri, terampil dan mampu berkerja sama dengan orang lain. Salah satunya adalah SD Islam Terpadu Hidayah Klaten yang menerapkan konsep rabbaniyah, integratif, stimulatif, fasilitatif, inovatif, dan motivatif dalam kurikulumnya.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is still the occurrence of rejection and disputes between regular students and students with special needs in inclusion schools. This certainly has an impact on student relationships in schools. Therefore, this study aims to describe the pattern of associative and dissociative interaction of regular students and students with special needs at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenology approach. The result of this study is a pattern of associative interaction between regular students and students with special needs classified in the form of cooperation, assimilation, and accommodation. Cooperation is seen at the activities in the school. This form of assimilation between regular students and students with special needs is the planting of a tolerance attitude. The form of accommodation between regular students and students with special needs leads to a form of arbitration and tolerance. Dissociative interaction patterns between regular students and students with special needs are classified in patterns of competition, contravention, and conflict/strife. Competition occurs in academic competition and competition to be the best student. While the contravention which leads to rejection and the onset of displeased feelings hidden by students against the companion of students with special needs(shadow teacher). The conflict is dominated by students with special needs with emotional and behavioral disorders (unsociability disorder).

Abstract

penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Clasroom Action Reserach). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SDN Sukabumi 4 Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 berjumlah 36 orang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui tentang penerapan kolaborasi Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation dalam meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI terhadap materi senangnya berakhlak terpuji di SDN Sukabumi 4 Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kolaborasi Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation terhadap peningkatan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI pada materi senangnya berakhlak terpuji di SDN Sukabumi 4 Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat kepada: 1) Guru, sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan manfaat bagi siswa. 2) Siswa, dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa serta melatih sikap social untuk saling peduli terhadap keberhasilan siswa lain dalam mencapai tujuan belajar. Hasil penelitian kolaborasi Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation di SDN Sukabumi 4 Kota Probolinggo Jawa Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada Materi tentang Senangnya berakhlak terpuji. Dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu pada siklus I mencapai 47,2 %, pada siklus II mencapai 86,1 %.   Abstract: The study is a classroom action research (Clasroom Action Reserach). Subjects in this study were students of class VI SDN Sukabumi 4 Kota Probolinggo in East Java in the academic year 2015/2016 amounted to 36 people. The purpose of this research are: 1) To find out more about the application of collaboration Problem Based Learning and Group Investigation in improving student learning activities and outcomes of sixth grade of the material have a certain delight commendable in Sukabumi SDN 4 Kota Probolinggo in East Java in the academic year 2015/2016. 2) To determine the effect of collaboration Problem Based Learning and Group Investigation to increased activity and student learning outcomes in class VI materials have a certain happy commendable in Sukabumi SDN 4 Kota Probolinggo in East Java in the academic year 2015/2016. The benefits of this research is expected to provide benefits to: 1) Teachers, as a material consideration in determining the learning model that can provide benefits for students. 2) Students, can enhance the activity and student learning outcomes and to train social attitudes to each other care for student success in achieving the learning objectives. The result of research collaboration and Problem Based Learning Group Investigation in Sukabumi SDN 4 Kota Probolinggo in East Java in the academic year 2015/2016 can improve the quality of learning in Islamic Education Material about moral good to commendable. The positive impact in improving activity and student learning outcomes in the classroom is characterized by increased mastery learning students in each cycle, in the first cycle reached 47.2% in cycle II reached 86.1%.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the reading literacy activities at MI Ma’arif Hamlet Salatiga, along with obstacles in their implementation and also the short and long term plans of these activities. This research is qualitative involved teachers in the school as well as the principal. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of the study show that literacy activities at MI Ma’arif have been carried out for all students in grades 1 through 6. They are not only asked to read but also answer questions and also retell in an effort to encourage them to comprehend the reading comprehensively. Some obstacles are still found such as lack of reading books, lack of libraries and also the low support of parents of students. As a shortterm and long-term plan for this activity, the teacher will launch a story deposit activity to the homeroom teacher. This was done not only to train their understanding, but also to train their courage to perform in front of the class AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan literasi membaca di MI Ma’arif Dukuh Salatiga, beserta hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya dan juga rencana jangka pendek dan panjang dari kegiatan tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan guru di sekolah serta kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan juga analisis dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi di MI Ma’arif ini sudah dilaksanakan bagi semua peserta didik kelas 1 sampai 6. Mereka bukan hanya diminta membaca tetapi juga menjawab pertanyaan dan juga menceritakan kembali sebagai usaha untuk mendorong mereka untuk memahami bacaan secara komprehensif. Beberapa kendala masih ditemukan seperti kurangnya sumber buku bacaan, tidak adanya perpustakaan dan juga rendahnya dukungan orang tua peserta didik. Sebagai rencana jangka pendek dan panjang dari kegiatan ini, guru akan mencanangkan kegiatan setor cerita kepada wali kelas. Ini dilakukan selain untuk melatih pemahaman mereka, juga untuk melatih keberanian mereka untuk tampil di depan kelas. Penelitian ini baru karena menggunakan literasi digital yang sebelumnya hanya menggunakan literasi manual.

Abstract

AbstractTeaching and learning can be successful and meaningful if it uses a design that is close to students, namely the cultural context.  This study aims to explore the mathematical content of the sabuk tradisional in the saboweki/traditional clothing of the Bajawa ethnic community, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The research method used descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Research object was sabuk tradisional Bajawa (keru). The data was collected through observation and documentation, while the source triangulation technique used to obtain the validity of the data. Data analysis techniques started from exposure, reduction and conclusion. The results showed that sabuk tradisional (keru) bajawa contains mathematical concepts including number patterns, multiplication as repeated addition, geometry and measurement and reflection. The findings of this study could improve the quality of learning in elementary schools through the sabuk tradisional (keru) bajawa as a mathematics learning media based culturally responsive.
