ELEMENTARY Journal (Print ISSN: 2355-0155; Online ISSN: 2503-0256) is an Islamic teacher journal published by Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI), Islamic Education (Tarbiyah) Department, State College on Islamic Studies (STAIN) Kudus. Elementary is published twice a year (every six months, i.e. January and July) as scientific communication means of academic people in the study of Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education. Editorial Board receives the articles from the educators, observers, researchers on Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education to be published after having tight selection, peer review, and serious editting.

Abstract

Pendekatan keterampilan proses penting untuk diaplikasikan pada pembelajaran IPA di Madrasah. Keunggulan pendekatan keterampilan proses di dalam proses pembelajaran antara lain, peserta didik terlibat langsung dengan objek nyata sehingga dapat mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pelajaran, peserta didik menemukan sendiri konsep-konsep yang dipelajari, melatih peserta didik untuk berpikir lebih kritis, melatih peserta didik untuk bertanya dan terlibat lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran, mendorong peserta didik untuk menemukan konsep-konsep baru, memberi kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk belajar menggunakan metode ilmiah. Guru dalam pembelajaran IPA menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses sebaiknya membuat perencanaan yang baik dan membuat LKPD agar pembelajaran lebih terarah, efektif, dan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. AbstractTHE IMPORTANCE OF PROCESS SKILL APPROACH ON SCIENCE LEARNING IN MADRASA: Process skills approach is essential to be applied to science learning in Madrasa. Excellent process skills approach in the learning process, such as students directly involved with the real object so as to facilitate students understanding of the subject matter, the students find their own concepts studies, to train students to think more critically, to train students to ask and be more active in learning, encourage students to discover new concepts, provide an opportunity for students to learn to use the scientific method. Teachers in learning science apply process skills approach should make a good planning and making worksheet for learning more targeted, effective, and positive influence on the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Children are figures that parents do the best for them.The most valuable thing given by parents to children is education.In educating and teaching children, especially elementary students,parents and teachers often find it difficult. Lack of motivation isthe reason children are always first and foremost. To increasetheir motivation, parents and teachers need to understand thepsychology of child development. Elementary school age childrenhave different developmental psychology characteristics. Thesecharacteristics are classified into four points: physical, social,language, and cognitive. By understanding the characteristics ofpsychological development of children, parents and teachers mustteach and educate children in accordance with their developmentand not do things that are unwanted by children. It was provedthat any children of different ages have different developmentalpsychology. By understanding the psychology of their development,parents and teachers can teach and educate them easily knowingwhat can make children motivated and to obtain the best results ineducation, parents and teachers or schools to work together.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha menunjukkan bahwa perilaku belajar siswa di sekolah dipengaruhi oleh cara guru dalam mengajar. Guru tidak hanya perlu cakap dalam ilmu pengetahuan saja melainkan juga harus mampu dalam menstimulasi bakat yang terdapat pada siswa. Seorang guru yang inovatif dan kreatif akan menghasilkan siswa yang kreatif pula. Fokus dari kajian ini adalah menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran oleh guru. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah beberapa literatur antara lain buku-buku dan artikel-artikel jurnal. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar atau Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Guru harus mampu melakukan perubahan-perubahan atau inovasi dalam mengajar tidak terbatas dalam mata pelajaran apapun sehingga kreativitas siswa senantiasa terasah dan berkembang.

Abstract

This study aims to create an integrative thematic learning model by interfacing religious values into general subjects in 1 theme. The type of research used is literature study with analytical descriptive method by reviewing the books related to thematic, integrative and content analysis by analyzing integrated thematic book of Curriculum 2013 which is the teacher book of SD / MI class I up to class VI. In integrative thematic learning the researcher uses Lyndon B's webbed model using the theme as a learning center material developed into various subjects and integrated in religious values. The integration of religious values in this model is done by creating a table of competency analysis with the steps: First examine the various themes in each class, in each theme there are several sub themes. Second is choosing one sub theme from class I to class VI to develop basic competence to each subject. The third determines aspects that students develop such as attitude, knowledge and skills aspects. Fourth is integrating religious values by incorporating Qur'an verses in accordance with the basic competencies in each subject.

Abstract

 Personal figure of character was not only smartphone born inward, but also has the power to execute something is right. Efforts need to implementation of character education. Character education has higher meaning than the moral education and has electrostatic formation of morals. Preschool-age children can be already given the character education by enabling the empathy toward children who already exists, which is part of conscience. In relation to the education characters need to be delicately six character value contains about the following materials: (1) teach the love of God and all His creation, (2) independence, (3) honest, (4) responsibility, (5) tolerance, (6) cooperating, etc. and that they are all the elements in the good character (akhlaqul karimah).

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar di dalamnya juga termasuk pembelajaran sastra. Pembelajaran sastra di SD/MI diharapkan siswa dapat menikmati dan memanfaatkan karya sastra untuk memperluas wawasan, memperhalus budi pekerti, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Pada akhirnya melalui karya sastra siswa juga dapat menghargai sastra Indonesia sebagai khazanah budaya dan intelektual manusia Indonesia. Proses pembelajaran bahasa (sastra) dengan pendekatan whole language, merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang komprehensif dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra di sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari pendekatan ini adalah adanya kerjasama antara siswa dan guru yang benar-benar saling mengisi. Siswa dapat aktif mengeksplorasi segala potensi yang dimiliki, sedangkan guru harus bersikap kooperatif, aktif, kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed at describing the headmaster’ leadership of Islamic Primary School Rahmah El Yunusiyyah in applying effective learning. The informants of this study were sectional leader of education, headmaster, teachers, staffs, parents and students. This study applied qualitative case study. The headmaster’s leadership of Islamic Primary School Rahmah El Yunusiyyah produced many achievements. The effective learning was done in order to produce students’ good attitude and achievement. The headmaster’s leadership was seen good, because his caring on developing teachers and students’ participation. The headmaster applied 1) technical skills; 2) human skills; and 3) conceptual skills on his leadership. The headmaster suggested the teachers to use Curriculum 2013 and School Based Curriculum by using domain approach. The domain approach tend to grow the project based character building in order to empower students’ understanding. The school was also did learning by using environment and earth. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran efektif di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah semua Kasi Pendidikan Madrasah, Kepala Madrasah, tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, orang tua siswa, dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah telah menghasilkan prestasi-prestasi gemilang. Pembelajaran efektif dilaksanakan dengan menghasilkan peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia dan berprestasi. Kepemimpinan Kepala MI REY dinilai baik, karena kepedulian Kepala MI REY dalam mengembangkan kemampuan partisipatif guru dan siswa. Kepala MI REY berusaha memenuhi sarana prasarana untuk kelancaran pembelajaran. Kepala MI REY telah menerapkan 1) technical skills; 2) human skills; dan 3) conceptual skills. Kepala MI REY mengharuskan guru menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 dan KTSP dengan Pendekatan Domain. Pendekatan domain menitikberatkan pada.penanaman nilai karakter siswa program unggulan pembelajaran efektif berbasis proyek, yang bertujuan untuk menguatkan pemahaman peserta didik dengan materi yang diberikan. Selain itu MI REY melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan lingkungan dan alam.

Abstract

This article talks about the concept of children’s educationaccording to Nasih Ulwan. Nashih Ulwan is a staunch in theIslamic movement devoted them to preaching and joins the MuslimBrotherhood. Nashih Ulwan said that the the most important andcared for responsibility by Islam is the responsibility of educatorsto children. They are eligible to receive guidance, instruction, andeducation from them. Educators are referred to here other than theparent, also including teachers in formal schools, among teachersin the education of children. Explicitly Nashih Ulwan 5 educationalmethods suggested in the book, namely: 1) Education by example,2) Education with customs (repetition). 3) Education with advice,4) education by providing care and supervision. 5) Educationthrough punishman. Ulwan emphases on children’s education;1) Attention in terms of faith in children. 2) Caution in terms ofmorals. 3) Attention children mentally and intellectually. 4). Interms of physical child’s attention. 5) The attention in terms of thepsychology of children. 6) Attention in terms of social development.

Abstract

This study discusses the Integrative Approach: Paradigmative and Implementative Review in Fikih Learning. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the integrative paradigm and its implementation in learning Fikih in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The research method used is qualitative approach with analytical descriptive method. The result of research stated that the learning of Islamic Religious Education, including Fikih need to contain approach and paradigm of integrative science, so that the learning process delivered by the teacher becomes intact, and not separating each other from one science to another. Fikih subjects are no longer just normative but also scientific. Understanding that resulted from integrative Fikih learning will lead learners to learn in totality, and make Fikih as a part of real life needed by them.
