Abstract

This paper examines the influence of banks (Conventional and Islamic) on economic growth in Indonesia during the period 2008-2012. Secondary data that were used in this research were in the form of monthly time series data during the year 2008-2012. The data were obtained based on monthly statistical banking report from Bank Indonesia (BI) and monthly statistical reports of the Monthly Industrial Production Index in the Large and Medium scale from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Indonesia. Total deposits, total loans/total financial, and total assets as variables that are representing the bank. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is the variable that representing economic growth. By using Cointegration methods and Granger Causality, the result shows that generally, Conventional and Islamic banking affects economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study aims to reveal the meaning of profit and understand the concept of profit, and the distribution of profit according to the customs, traditions, and cultures at Aisyiyah hospitals. This study uses qualitative research with ethnographic approach. This study tries to reveal the meaning of profit through customs, traditions, and rituals that has been practiced in the hospital. This study found that; first, profit is interpreted based on the physical appearance in the form of material or money. Second, the form of material profit used as a tool in order to pay for liability payment of the hospital to the external dispute. Third, material profit has a role as a tool in order to improve the welfare of employees. Fourth, the goal of material profit is using for the development of hospitals and funding a dakwah (missionary endeavour) of Muhammadiyah organization.

Abstract

The increase number of the user of oil and gas energy will lead to depletion of fossil energy resources, therefore it is important to develop renewable energy sources. Ocean currents energy is one of renewable energy sources which can be developed to fulfill problems of the highly request of energy. The economic of ocean currents study has not been known clearly in the aspect of price and feasibility. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the potential of ocean currents energy development as a power plant in Madura Strait, East Java Province. The analysis methods that were used in this study were oceanographic, technical and benefit cost. Based on the research, Madura Strait has sufficient resource potential to produce energy. Benefit cost analysis shows that ocean currents energy power plant development is financially feasible to be developed for 2 units or more.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore digger concerning to the reason of consumer's lifestyle on consuming party kebaya as a luxurious product on women consumers at Channisa Boutique Malang. This research uses Qualitative Approach with phenomenology research design in order to explore digger concerning to the the partisipats'experiences and reasons towards the lifestyle such as buying and using kebaya as a luxurious product. The data was taken by interviewing in depth of 5 informers who are customers of Channisa Boutique as partisipants. The data analysis is using coding technique in order to make easier on the meaning formulation process of the deep interview results. The result of this research shows: the reasons in which being a background of consumer's lifestyle, there are:1) the role of reference group 2) achievement motivation 3) self-confident 4) self image. The implication of the research towards marketers are they may give more attention to the customers'reference group vision, the equation of perception with the customers'fashion trend vision, customers'self confidence and self image. The originality of this research is that, it brings attention to the consumer's experiences and reasons towards a lifestyle on the consumption of Indonesian local luxury fashion product named party kebaya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between perception, satisfaction and loyalty of the users in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. This research was conducted at the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia on closed access services. The Methods of testing instruments were used SPSS Software 16.00 and hypothesis testing used structural equation modeling (SEM) by SmartPLS software. The characteristics of respondents predominantly female (68%), aged 17-25 years (82%), they are working as a student (79%) and Sarjana S1 (76%). Based on the analysis of SEM with PLS approach, we can see the relationship of the six basic elements of the library (electronic resources, printed publications, other services, technical facilities, library environment, the human side) towards the value, satisfaction and loyalty. The results of the study shows that the other services have a significant relationship with the value of the users in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. While the variables of human side, environmental and electronic library resources related to the satisfaction in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. While the value of users'variables significantly related to the loyalty in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, it can be concluded that not all of the basic elements of the library have a relationship with the value, satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study is an explanatory research which aimed to identify the model of entrepreneurial behavior of educated Minangkabau's woman in West Sumatera through investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial attitude, Subjective Norm, self evocation as endogenous variable and entrepreneurial behavior as exogenous variable. Additionally, this study employs entrepreneurial intention as intervening variable. This study contributes to enhance the university graduate in their intention to be an entrepreneur. This study utilizes stratified random sampling technique by using questionnaire that sent to allpopulation namely the IWAPI member in West Sumatera. Prior to data analysis, the data were subjected to data preparation using SPSS 20. SPSS Version 20 was employed for data screening; demographic profiling of the respondents. In addition, Smart PLS will be employed to data analysis (measurement model and structural model).

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to understands and know the description of lifestyle and consumer behaviour phenomenom in a coffeeshops Malang. The consumer behaviour phenomenom is always doing a activites in coffeeshop such as discussion, interaction, and even meeting. Consumers are able to feel relaxed in a coffeeshop atmosphere because they not restricted by a regulations or rules. Activites in a coffeeshop is a reflection of the needs that important to consumers, because encouragement of lifestyle. Type of this research is a qualitative research based on phenomenology, which takes informant from consumer and entrepreneur coffeeshop. The number of informant on this research are 7 informant. Interview, observation, and documentation as an instrument for primary data collection. Method of data collection methodes using interview is done, then the data analysis through manual qualitative analysis is the primary tool analysis on this research.

Abstract

Bangka Belitung province's economy has a very high dependence on the tin. BPS data of 2013 showed tin contributed 33.60% PDRB and expected of more than 70% if the multiplier effect applied (Megawandi, 2013). But the tin mining industry is currently facing complex problems including undeveloped downstream (Widyatmiko, 2012), environmental damage (Sapanli, 2009; Inonu, 2010; Walhi, 2013), illegal small scale mining (Elfida, 2007; Sapanli 2010), and overlap of licensing and laws (Purba, 2007; Hayati, 2011; Bastida and Paramita, 2013), social issues (Aziz and Salim, 2005; Zulkarnain et al 2005; Erman, 2007; Resosudarmo and Subiman, 2010), damage of the forest (Sidabukke, 2011) and other problems. This study aims to design a business model of tin mining industry in Bangka Belitung so the sustain able issues can be resolved. The methodology used in this study was in-depth structured interview of expertstakeholders. The results of the study showed a chart which was interrelated relationship between elements which were created and delivered value for the industry and the state. The study of tin business model is a flow chart of the mining process to the trade.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning of transparency and accountability of performancebased budgeting Central Kalimantan provincial government. This study is a qualitative research approach used transcendental phenomenology to uncover the basic meaning of transparency and accountability. The results showed that the meaning of transparency in the performance -based budget includes openness of the budget process by the Central Kalimantan provincial government involving the community with the budget as a policy delivery obligations with willingness is supported by the accessibility of the budget document as an act of open road leads to the documents necessary for the public budget. Central Kalimantan provincial government mandated budget to account for the public in the form of Budget Responsibility Reports Revenue and Expenditure. Accountability interpreted performance based budgeting of the main tasks and functions that constitute performance information in planning performance as the basis for allocation of performance-based budgeting for aid accountability budget contained in the Accountability Document Implementation budget. Evaluation of performance as a result of performance feedback on current and past as a basis and lessons to improve future performance. Performance Accountability Report Preparation Government Agencies as one of the obligations of local government agencies that still need improvement.

Abstract

The objective of this research to measure empirically the effect of service quality which consists of seven dimensions including physical evidence, responsiveness, reliability, competence, confidence, recovery of complaints and external empathy to the satisfaction and loyalty of user of industrial area. The results of this research are expected to contribute in enriching the repertoire of knowledge in the field of marketing, especially the theory of marketing services business, especially in the industrial area, which is expected to provide benefits to academics and practitioners.This research using industrial area throughout the region that extends around the right side of the road toll Jakarta-Cikampek, as the object of researchis the company's industrial estate users. The selection was randomly sampled using a systematic sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire filled out by the company's leaders industrial users, which is related to the level of director or manager. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling techniques. The results of this study found that: The quality of service on the company's industrial estate consisting of seven dimensions: physical evidence, responsiveness, reliability, competence, confidence and attention out to the strengthening of user satisfaction and loyalty of the industrial estate. Means the quality of service which consists of seven dimensions: physical evidence, responsiveness, reliability, competence, confidence, recovery of complaints, and external empathy can be carried out well and can improve user satisfaction and loyalty in the industrial estate. Quality of service on the company improve the industrial estate of satisfaction, but not to the industrial estate user loyalty. Conclusions are contained mean that although the quality of service is done well and able to improve satisfaction but not necessarily be able to increase loyalty of user of industrial estate.
