Abstract

Backgrounds: Sleep disorders can affect on decreased concentration and academic achievement, sleepy while driving, risk behavior, depression, social interaction disorder, and bad health. Obesity is closely related to sleep-related breathing disorder that can affect on declining sleep quality as well. Body mass index (BMI) and neck circumference are simple screening to determine obesity. This research aims to know the association between BMI and neck circumference with sleep quality. Methods: This was an analytic observational research with cross sectional design in Buran Village, Tasikmadu, Karanganyar. Fifty six subjects 22-50 years of age were selected by using accidental sampling. BMI and neck circumference were obtained by anthropometric measurement. Sleep quality was obtained by PSQI questionnaire. Data were statistically analyzed using Spearman test and Mann-Whitney test. Results: The Spearman analysis indicated that there was no significant association between BMI and sleep quality (p = 0.070) as well as neck circumference and the sleep quality (p = 0.781). Mann Whitney analysis indicated that there was a significant association between psychological condition and sleep quality (p < 0.001). Conclusions: There are no significant associations between BMI and sleep quality as well as neck circumference and sleep quality. Psychological condition has significant correlation with sleep quality. Keywords: BMI, neck circumference, sleep quality

Abstract

Background: Security guard often experience sleep disturbances, especially insomnia due to the changing of sleep pattern. This sleep disturbance causes a decrease sleep quality on security guard. Exercise can prevent the decrease of sleep quality. This research aimed to determine the correlation between exercise and sleep quality of banks security guard in Surakarta. Methods: This was an observational analytic research with crosssectional design, which was held on November 2014 with security guard at Surakarta as the research subjects. Sampling method used simple random sampling. The dependent variable was sleep quality which was measured by questionnaire. The independent variable was exercise. The variable was measured by time accumulation of exercise in a week. It was categorized into exercise (?150 minutes/week) and non exercise (<150 minutes/week). Thirty eight research subjects was analyzed using Spearman correlation test. Result: The Spearman correlation test analysis showed a statistically significant strong correlation between exercise and sleep quality. Exercise had contribution 44.9% to improved sleep quality (R= 0.67; R2= 0.44; p=0.000). Conclusion: Exercise has strong positive correlation with sleep quality of bank security guard. Security officers who do exercise have better sleep quality. Key Words: Security guard, Sleep quality, Exercise.

Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea occured in 72,4% women where 15,4% of them suffered severe dysmenorrhea that may hinder the person doing activity or work. Behavioral treatment of dysmenorrhea can help the person to reduce the symptoms that may hinder or inhibit a persons activity. Knowledge is an important determinant for the individual to behave. This study aims to know the relationship between knowledge level of dysmenorrhea to behavioral treatment of dysmenorrhea. Methods: This study was analytical observational with cross sectional approach, and used primary data. These sample were first, second, and third grade students of Medicine Faculty of Sebelas Maret University who suffered dysmenorrhea. Sixty four Samples taken by purpossive random sampling methods. All samples were given questionnaire to measure the knowledge level and behavioral treatment of dysmenorrhea. Data analysis using Chi Square test. Results: The result showed 53% samples kowledge level of dysmenorrhea were good and 47% were less. From behavioral treatment of dysmenorrhea samples ,we get 62% samples treated with his own and 38% went to doctor. From the analysis Chi Square test p= 0,001 and OR= 3,04. Conclusions: Based on result of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge level of dysmenorrhea to behavioral treatment of dysmenorrhea. Student with good knowledge level of dysmenorrhea has 3,04 chance to go to the doctor treating dysmenorrhea. Keywords: Knowledge Level of Dysmenorrhea, Behavioral Treatment of Dysmenorrhea

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan dengan prevalensi yang tinggi di Indonesia, yaitu 25,8%, berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2013. Di Jawa Tengah sendiri hipertensi menempati proporsi terbesar dari seluruh penyakit tidak menular yang dilaporkan sebesar 64,83% menurut Profil Kesehatan Kabupaten/Kota tahun 2017. Kejadian hipertensi berdasarkan data profil Puskesmas Eromoko I tahun 2018 didapatkan mencapai 1852, angka tertinggi pada penyakit rawat jalan. Di samping itu, didapatkan hanya sebanyak 8,81% yang berobat secara teratur. Dari data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipertensi merupakan penyakit dengan prevalensi tinggi pada pasien Puskesmas Eromoko I. Metode: Penelitian observasional tipe deskriptif, dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu dengan menggambarkan pola distribusi hipertensi berdasarkan populasi. Menggunakan data sekunder bersumber dari profil kesehatan Puskesmas Eromoko I.Hasil: Diperoleh dari data puskesmas selama tiga tahun terakhir yaitu tahun 2016,2017, dan 2018 mengenai jumlah penderita hipertensi pada pasien Puskesmas Eromoko I.Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan sebab-akibat antara hipertensi dengan jenis kelamin.Kata Kunci: hypertension; simpus; essential; gender

Abstract

Background: One of the symptoms in males with andropause is mood depression. Andropauses occurrence in a man may increase the incidence of depression. This research aimed to know the influence of andropause on incidence of depression in males at Subdistrict Jebres, Surakarta. Method: This observational analytic which used cross sectional method was held in June-July 2014. The subjects were males 45 years old or older who lived at Subdistrict Jebres, Surakarta. Sixty males who were chosen by purposive random sampling method as the subjects consisted of 30 males with andropause and 30 males without andropause. Data collected through questionarie were analyzed with Chi-Square and Odds Ratio. Result: The analysis showed that 20 out of 30 males with andropause had depression. But, only 7 out of 30 males without andropause had depression. The data analysis with ? = 0.05 showed p = 0.001 (p < 0.05); Odds Ratio = 6.571. There was a significant difference of depressions occurrence between males with andropause and males without andropause at Subdistrict Jebres, Surakarta. Conclusion: There is influence of andropause on incidence of depression in males at Subdistrict Jebres, Surakarta which the number of depression prevalence is bigger at andropauses group. Abstract

Background: Noise is one of the most often encountered stressor to human being. Aircraft noise is considered to be the most annoying transportation noise, due to its noise level and intermittent nature. Noise will interfere with the working of the brain, especially in its endocrine regulation. It is estimated that in 2020 depression will be the problem and will be the second global burden after ischemic heart disease. The most common cause of depression is dysregulation of Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis. The aim of this research is to compare depression case incidence on Adi Sumarmo Boyolali airport employees between apron and non-apron region employees. Methods: This research is an analytical cross-sectional study, conducted in Adi Sumarmo Airport Boyolali. The research was conducted in November 2014. The independent variable was workplace noise that divided into 2: apron area (81.3 WECPNL noise level) and non-apron area (64.14 WECPNL noise level). While the dependent variable was depression measured by Beck Depression Inventory II questionnaire. Samples were Adi Sumarmo Airport Boyolali employees with at least a year of the working time, no having psychiatric disorders, no having both chronic dieases and congenital diseases, no having hearing loss, no wearing ear model of personal protective equipment, no experiencing death of sib in last 3 months, LMMPI score with no answers < 10, and were willing to be respondents and approved informed consent. Total of 86 samples were obtained by consecutive sampling after selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. It divided into 2 groups. Each consists of 43 employees. The data were analyzed by chi-square test. Result: The prevalence of depression was 46.5% in the apron area and 20.9% in the non-apron area. Chi-square test showed that there was a statistically significant difference in depression score among two groups (p = 0.012; p<0.05). Conclusion: There was significant difference of depression case incidence on Adi Sumarmo Boyolali Airport employees between apron and non-apron employees. Abstract

Pendahuluan : Dilaporkan bahwa 1 dari 3 orang di dunia terdiagnosis hipertensi. Penyakit ini juga menempati posisi ke-6 pada 10 besar penyakit yang terdapat di Puskesmas Andong. Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh kombinasi banyak faktor risiko. Hal tersebut menandakan bahwa hipertensi memiliki urgensi untuk segera diatasi, salah satunya dengan menganalisis faktor-faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi timbulnya hipertensi. Metode : Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional di Puskesmas Andong, Kecamatan Andong, Kabupaten Boyolali, Jawa Tengah pada bulan Maret April 2019. Data didapatkan dari pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dan penghitungan antropometri ke pasien poli umum dan rawat inap serta pengumpulan data sekunder dari data pasien yang mengikuti PROLANIS Puskesmas Andong. Hubungan antar variabel dianalisis dengan menggunakan Chi-Square. Regresi logistik dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor resiko dari hipertensi. Hasil : Ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara faktor usia, IMT, aktivitas fisik, tingkat edukasi tentang hipertensi, dan penyakit penyerta Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Hanya usia dan IMT yang berpengaruh parsial secara signifikan sebagai faktor risko kejadian hipertensi di Puskesmas Andong. Kesimpulan : Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu adanya perhatian lebih pada penjagaan berat badan secara dan pengukuran tekanan darah secara teratur untuk mencegah peningkatan risiko hipertensi.Kata Kunci : Hypertension, Risk Factor, BMI, Age, Andong

Abstract

Backgrounds : Cervical cancer is a cancer that occurred at cervical region of female reproduction organs and occupies the top level for causing women mortality in the world compared to other type of cancer. Cervical cancer is caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection. HPV cervical cancer vaccination is one method to decrease cervical cancer occurrence. Good knowledge and perception are supposed to arise high motivation in conducting HPV cervical cancer vaccination. This research aims to know the relationships between level of knowledge and perception with motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination in female senior high school students with HPV cervical cancer vaccination program and non program in Badung regency 2014. Methods : This research is an analytical observation. Sample of this research are 100 female Senior High School students in Badung regency which are chosen by simple random sampling. The data are collected by questionnaire related with knowledge, perception, and motivation, then analyzed with Double Logistic Regression. Results : This research results show that knowledge has significant positive relationship with motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination (p = 0.001 CI 95% = 2.123-22.412). Perception also has significant positive relationship with motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination (p = 0.011 CI 95% = 1.404-13.733). Knowledge and perception relationships with motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination are 28.80% (Negelkerkel Rsquare = 0.288). Conclusions : There are positive relationships between level of knowledge and perception concerning motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination in female senior high school students with HPV cervical cancer vaccination program and non program in Badung regency 2014, higher level of knowledge and better perception are related with higher motivation to conduct HPV cervical cancer vaccination in female senior high school students with HPV cervical cancer vaccination program and non program in Badung regency 2014. Abstract

Background: Adolescent in Indonesia are currently undergoing social changes from traditional society to modern society. This condition may trigger adolescent to develop a bad behavior, for example bad sexual behavior if accompanied by bad influences such as permissive environment or mass media. There are multiple factors that can influence adolescent behavior. Family, in this case parents educational degree and family economy status are thought to have great influence in adolescent behavior. Methods: This research was analytic observational research using survey methods with cross sectional design. Stratified cluster random sampling was used for sampling methods. The samples are 103 students from class X, XI, and XII. Data were obtained from questionnaire that has already validated. The data were analyzed using Spearman statistical analysis with Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 17 for Windows. There are two variables, parents educational degree (low, middle and high category) and family economy status (low, middle, high). Results: There are 103 respondents which consist of 81 good sexual activity respondent and 22 bad sexual activity respondent. Spearman and Kendall-tau show that correlation coefficients between adolescent sexual activity with parents educational degree are 0.442 and 0.431, respectively (p value <0.001), whereas correlation coefficients between adolescent sexual activity with family economy status are 0.338 and 0.329, respectively (p value <0.001). Conclusions: It can be concluded that there is significant association between parents educational degree and family economy status with adolescents sexual behavior.Correlation coefficient are positive, that is the higher educational degree or family economy status, the higher possibility the adolescent to do a bad sexual activity. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit yang disebabka noleh virus Dengue yang ditularkan ke manusia melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Demam Berdarah Dengue dipilih sebagai topik dikarenakan tingginya kasus tersebut pada Puskesmas Tanon II dan berharap dapat membantu mengurangi insidensi kasus dan meningkatkan kewaspadaan masyarakat terhadap penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional.Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan kenaikan signifikan pada tahun 2019 dibanding tahun-tahun sebelumnya.Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa factor risiko terjadinya Demam Berdarah Dengue meliputi aspek lingkungan dan aspek masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Fever; Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever; Risk Factors
