Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning of TGT type viewed by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was grade 7th students of junior high school state of 8 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014. The samples of this research were students of VII-E and VII-F class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of TGT type was ineffective viewed by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of grade 7th students of junior high school state of 8 Bandarlampung in academic years of 2013/2014.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-E dan VII F yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Kata kunci: efektivitas, pemahaman konsep,TGT

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of inquiry learning method towards students understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th students at SMP Negeri 4 Bandarlampung in the academic year of 2014/2015 which consist of twelve classes, then it was chosen as samples two classes by purposive random sampling technique. The data of this research were obtained by test of mathematical understanding concepts. Based on the result of research, it could be concluded that inquiry learning method has a positive influence towards stundents understanding of mathematical concepts.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui metode inquiry learning terhadap pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari dua belas kelas, kemudian diambil dua kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa metode inquiry learning berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: inquiry learning, pemahaman konsep, siswa SMP

Abstract

This quasi experimental research was intended to find out the effectiveness of Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) learning in terms of students understanding mathematical concept ability. The design of this research was posttest only control design. The populations of this research were all students of IX class at SMP IT Ar-Raihan Bandarlampung in academic year 2016/2017. The samples of the research were the students of class IX C and IX D that determined by purposive sampling technique. The data of the research was obtained through the best in form of description test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using Mann Whitney U test, it showed that the Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) was not effective in terms of students understanding mathematical concept ability. However in classes that used ATM learning, the students understanding mathematical concept ability was increased from previous learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP IT Ar- Raihan Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/ 2017. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX C dan IX D yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes berupa tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U, menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Namun, pada kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran ATM, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa meningkat dari pembelajaran sebelumnya.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, Alqurun Teaching Model.

Abstract

This research is a quasi experiment that aimed to know the influence of implementation cooperative learning method type RTE towards student’s understanding of mathematical concept. The research design was posttest onlycontrol group design. The research population were all students of 8th grade class of Junior High School State five Bandar Lampung academic year 2012/2013. The sample of this research was gotten by Perposive Random Sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was got that student’s mathematical understanding concept used cooperative learning method type RTE was higher than konventional learning. However, student’s learning  completeness using cooperative learning method type RTE wasn’t achieved the target. Thus, the implementation of cooperative learning method type RTE wasn’t influenced toward student’s understanding of mathematical concept.Keyword: Influence, RTE, Mathematical Concept

Abstract

Classroom action research is aimed to increase activities and mathematics’ learning outcomes by applying cooperative learning model of STAD type. This research done in 3 cycles, which in every cycle, the percentage of activities and mathematics’ learning outcomes are increased. The research has used observation and test as the data collection techniques. For the instruments that were needed during the research, it has used observation papers, field notes and test papers. The activities shown increase for each cycle, 50%, 69 % and 81 % for cycle I, II and III respectively. Also for mathematics’ leraning outcomes, it shown 50%, 68.75% and 75% for cycle I, II and III respectively. It means that applying the cooperative learning model of STAD type increased the activities and mathematics’learning outcomes for students of VIII B class in Pelita Bangsa Junior High School Bandar Lampung.  Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan selama penelitian berlangsung adalah lembar observasi, catatan lapangan dan perangkat tes. Penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga siklus, dimana pada setiap siklusnya terlihat kenaikan persentase aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Aktivitas meningkat pada setiap siklus, yaitu 50%, 69% dan 81 % untuk siklus I, II dan III. Begitu juga untuk hasil belajar matematika meningkat pada setiap siklusnya, yaitu 50%, 68.75% dan 75% untuk siklus I, II dan III. Hal ini berarti bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berhasil meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMP Pelita Bangsa Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar matematika, pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the difference of students mathematical conceptual understanding which used cooperative learning model of TSTS and TPS type. This research population was all students of grade 10th of SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into fifteen classes, then it was chosen 2 classes as samples by purposive sampling technique. This research data were obtained by test of understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the result of research, it could be concluded that there was the difference of students mathematical conceptual understanding, that was students mathematical conceptual understanding which followed cooperative learning model of TSTS type was higher than TPS.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS dan TPS. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam lima belas kelas, kemudian diambil dua kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, yaitu pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS lebih tinggi dari TPS.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, TPS, TSTS

Abstract

This research aimed to develop teaching materials of sets and find out the student conceptual understanding and disposition of mathematical concept understanding. This research type was Research and Development which was according to Borg and Gall. This research began with a preliminary study in the form of a needs analysis, learning development, product design and instruments. The subject of this research was VII A class students of SMP Muhammdiyah 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 who have medium to low-level thinking. The preliminary study results indicated that there had been no teaching materials of teacher in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung. The results of research showed that teaching material able to fasilitate of mathematical concepts understanding and disposition of mathematical concepts understanding.Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar himpunan dan mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Borg and Gall. Penelitian diawali dari studi pendahuluan berupa analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan pembelajaran, desain produk dan instrumen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang memiliki level berpikir menengah ke bawah. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa belum ada bahan ajar dari hasil karya guru di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, disposisi, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in terms of students mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was studentsofgrade VIII in SMP Negeri 5 Bandarlampung in academic year 2016/2017 wich weredistributed into twenty classes. The sampling was done by purposive random sampling technique and it was chosen student of VIII O and VIII P. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument of this research was essay test of mathematical representation skill. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the result and discussion, itwas concluded that guided inquiry learning model was not effective in terms of studentsmathematical representation skills. But, the increasing of students mathematical representation skills which was taught byguided inquiry learning model was better than conventional learning.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam dua puluh kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling dan terpilihlah siswa kelas VIII O dan VIII P. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis yang berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Mann-Whitney U. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis. Namun, peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: efektivitas, inkuiri terbimbing, representasi matematis

Abstract

This qualitative research aimed to describe the learning and indicators which were shown by student in mathematical disposition used PQ4R learning method. Subject of this research was student VII-G grade SMP N 20 Bandar Lampung. The qualitative research data was shown in description which explain student mathematical disposition that shown in learning process. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that mathematical disposition which was frequent shown in learning process are confidence and curiosity.Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran dan indikator yang ditunjukkan siswa dalam disposisi matematis dengan menggunakan metode PQ4R. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-G SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung. Data penelitian merupakan data kualitatif dalam bentuk uraian yang menjelaskan disposisi matematis siswa yang muncul selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa disposisi matematis yang dominan muncul selama pembelajaran adalah percaya diri dan rasa ingin tahu.Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, kualitatif, preview, question, read, reflect, recite, and review

Abstract

This quasi experiment research withposttest only control design is aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning model of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type towards student’s activity and result of mathematical study. Research population is all of eight-grade students in second semester of State Junior High School 2of Terbanggi Besar in academic year of 2012/2013 as many as 220 students that distributed into six classes. This samples are students of VIII E and VIII F class that chosen by purposive sampling technique.  The data is obtained by observation by sheet of activity observation and test by result of mathematical study. According to the data analysis result, it concluded that cooperative learning model of TGT type has an influence towards student’s activity of mathematical, but no an influence towards student’s result of mathematical study of eight-grade students in second semester of State Junior High School 2 of Terbanggi Besar in academic year of 2012/201.Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan posttest only control design ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran  kooperatif  tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 di SMP Negeri 2 Terbanggi Besar sebanyak 220 siswa yang terdistribusi pada enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII E dan VIII F yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas dan tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar matematika siswa.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh ke­simpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 2 Terbanggi Besar tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran koopertif tipe TGT, pengaruh
