Abstract

Abstract: The Influence Of Learning Models And Media On Students' Activities And Learning Outcomes On Acid Base Materials In High School. This research aims to determine the influence of learning models, media, and the interaction between learning models and media on student learning activities and outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 17 Medan, namely 6 classes. The sample for this research was taken randomly from 4 classes and the student sample was taken purposively, 10 people per class based on the homogeneity of their status. This research uses a 2 x 2 factorial design. Two factors are tested, namely factor A: Learning Model which consists of two levels, namely A1 = Discovery learning A2 = Guided inquiry, and factor B: learning media which consists of two levels, namely B1 = Video, B2 = PowerPoint. Learning acid-base material in high school which combines the guided inquiry learning model and video media provides higher activity and learning outcomes compared to the activities and learning outcomes of students who are taught by combining the guided inquiry + PowerPoint model, the combination of discovery learning + PowerPoint or a combination Discovery Learning model with video.Keywords: Discovery Learning, Guided Inquiry, Video, PowerPoint, Learning Results and Activities, Acids and Bases DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v13i1.29998

Abstract

Analysis of Student Learning Outcomes in View of Mathematical Ability and Ability Chemistry Class XI Science Students at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Proyek Univa Medan on Buffer Solution Material.The aim of this research is to determine the mathematical abilities and analytical abilities of students in class XI IPA Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Proyek Univa Medan on Buffer Solutions material. This type of research is cause and effect research. The data collected was in the form of mathematical ability test instruments, chemical analysis ability tests and student learning outcomes tests based on Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The results of the analysis show that students have an average mathematical ability of 64.00 and an average student analytical ability of 63.24. Student chemistry learning outcomes in buffer solution material have an average of 47.00. Analysis of students' answer sheets on learning outcomes tests shows that students do not have good mathematical skills and analytical skills, shown by a percentage of 57%. This data also shows that students' difficulties with buffer solution material are due to students not understanding chemical concepts. DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v12.i3.23.13

Abstract

Abstract : Developing an e-module based on scientific literacy integrated with Islamic values in chemical equilibrium material is a significant effort to improve students' scientific literacy skills and increase students' awareness of the spiritual aspect. Study This aims to develop an e-module based on scientific literacy integrated with Islamic values in chemical equilibrium material and analyze the quality and response of participants towards modules that were developed. Study This study uses the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages: analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, in the study, This is limited until on-stage development. Research data was obtained from a validation sheet media expert, sheet validation expert material, chemistry teacher assessment sheet, and response education the e-module being developed. Validation was carried out by two expert lecturers, material experts, and media experts. The quality of the e-module was obtained through an assessment carried out by three chemistry teachers, and a result of 93.3% was obtained in the excellent category. Then, a trial was carried out on 30 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta to determine the students' responses to the e-module being developed. The test results received a percentage score of 96% in the very positive category. Abstract

Abstract:The Effect of Using Interactive E-module on Student Motivation and Learning Outcomes on Acid-Base Solution Material . The problem in this study is the low motivation and learning outcomes of chemistry students on acid-base solution material. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning (PjBL) model assisted by interactive e-module media on student motivation and learning outcomes at SMAN 7 Medan. The research sample was taken 2 classes with random sampling technique and taught with PjBL model. The treatment in the experimental class was assisted by interactive e-module while the control class was assisted by student packet books. Data collection used test instruments and questionnaires. The results showed that the average learning outcomes of experimental class students were 84.43 with a gain of 68.64% and the control class was 78.71 with a gain of 53.68%. Student learning motivation in the experimental class was 81.71 while in the control class it was 75.29. There is a significant correlation with a medium category between motivation and student learning outcomes of 19.36%. The hyphoteses of this study were accepted, namely there is an effect of the PjBL model assisted by interactive e-module media on student chemistry learning outcomes, student chemistry learning motivation, and there is a correlation between learning motivation and student learning outcomes.Keywords: E-module, Project Based Learning (Pjbl),Learning Outcomes ,Student Motivation,Acid-Base Solution.DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v12.i3.23.04

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Android Learning Media to Increase High School Students' HOTS on Redox Reaction Material. This study aims to describe the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by Android learning media to increase students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) on redox reaction material. The method used in this study is the quasi-experimental design method, with the type of research design used being a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample selected is X MIA 2 as a control class and X MIA 3 as an experimental class. The research will be conducted at SMA Negeri 2, Tanjung Morawa, in August 2023. Data collection techniques use HOTS-laden essay tests and observation sheets on learning implementation. Data analysis techniques used to measure student success and improvement of HOTS use independent sample t-tests and N-gains, while for the implementation of learning and student response, they use a Likert scale. The results of the study were obtained where there was a significant influence in the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by android learning media in increasing students' HOTS on redox reaction material with an independent test of t-test samples at α= 0.05 obtained sig. 2-tailed by 0.000 from the post-test value of the control class and experiment, the N-gain value of 0.55 in the medium category. In addition, the implementation of learning gets an average percentage of 88.19%. Abstract

This research aims to develop and determine the results of a feasibility test for student worksheets based on probing prompting in science learning for class VIII students at SMP N 06, Bengkulu City. The method developed in this research is (Research & Development or R&D). The research method used in this development is the research method used to produce a particular product. Research and development according to Sugiyono consists of 10 general steps, of which the researcher will limit these 10 steps to 7 steps only up to the product revision stage. The subjects in this research were 3 expert lecturers as validation, responses from 10 class VIII students and 1 science teacher at SMP N 06 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques in this research include initial observations to determine whether or not student worksheets are needed, interviews, and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results of this research are that the percentage of language experts is 86.66% (very feasible), the results of the material expert assessment are 83.75% (very feasible) and the results of the media expert assessment are 86.66% (very feasible). Meanwhile, data from questionnaire analysis of responses from 10 students scored a percentage of 84.64% (very practical), and 1 teacher respondent had a percentage of 89.09% (very practical). From these data, it can be concluded that the student worksheets based on probing prompting in science learning for class VIII students at SMP N 06 Bengkulu City are suitable for use as learning media to support the learning process.Keywords: Student Worksheets, Probing PromptingDOI : 10.23960/jppk.v13.i1.2024.02

Abstract

Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Diagnostik Four-Tier Untuk Mengidentifikasi Model Mental Peserta Didik pada Materi Hidrolisis Garam. Model mental merupakan konsep pemikiran yang mewakili ide-ide digunakan untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan suatu fenomena. Model mental penting untuk diketahui agar guru dapat mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kesulitan dan miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh peserta didik. Instrumen tes diagnostik merupakan salah satu instrumen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui model mental peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes diagnostik four-tier untuk mengetahui model mental peserta didik pada materi hidrolisis garam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Treagust. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validitas logis diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata Aiken’s V sebesar 0.87 kategori valid. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba soal diperoleh bahwa hasil analisis validitas empiris pada first-tier dan third-tier terdapat beberapa soal tergolong valid dengan jumlah 18 soal dan 16 soal berturut-turut.  Nilai reliabilitas pada first-tier dan third-tier sebesar 0,78 dan 0,75 berturut-turut dengan kategori tinggi DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v12.i3.2023.10

Abstract

The Influence Of The Discovery Learning Model Assisted With Power Point Media On Students' Activities And Learning Outcomes On The Subject Of Colloids. This research aims to determine the influence of learning outcomes and student activities. The population and sample in this study were two classes of class XI high school students in the city of Medan, namely class XI4 as the experimental class and XI1 as the control class. The data taken in this research are test instruments in objective form and scores on student learning activity observation sheets. The research results show that there is a difference between the experimental class taught using the Discovery Learning model assisted by Power Point media compared to the control class which only uses conventional methods. This can be proven from the posttest average score for experimental class learning outcomes which is higher than the control class. Likewise, the learning activity of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. From the results of the posttest hypothesis test using the t-test, it was found that tcount>ttable = 5,457 > 2.04. The results of students' learning activities in the experimental class obtained an average of 75.3 and the control class 52.7. Abstract

Development of Problem Solving Based E-LKPD on Acid and Base Materials to Train Students' Critical Thinking Skills. This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of problem solving-based e-LKPD on acid and base materials to train students' critical thinking skills. The method used uses the development model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel with restrictions only on the third stage, namely (1) Define Stage, (2) Design Stage, (3) Development Stage, (4) Disseminate Stage. The research was conducted at SMAN Jogoroto Jombang with the research subject of class XI students who had insufficient critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is to determine the mode of validation results, calculate the percentage of student response questionnaire sheets, calculate the percentage of student activity observation sheets, and through the calculation of N-gain scores. The results of this study indicate that 1) content validity gets a mode number 5 with a very good category, 2) the average learner response questionnaire is 95% practical category, 3) the relevant activity of students is 93.32% and 96.65% practical category, 4) the average N-gain is 0.91 in the high category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the developed e-LKPD is feasible to use because it meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.Keywords: e-LKPD, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking Skills, Acids and Bases. DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v12.i3.2023.01

Abstract

 The research carried out was research and development to obtain instruments for HOTS-based reaction rates. The development of this item instrument is carried out first by following the steps for preparing HOTS questions which of course also pay attention to the characteristics of the HOTS questions. The next step is to analyze the item items based on the response pattern of the answers given by the students using the Rasch model assisted by the WINSTEPS 3.73 application. In this study the results of student answers were analyzed based on eight (8) types of output tables. Based on the analysis using the Rasch model, the following results are obtained: 1) Results of the Output tables item fit order obtained Outfit values: MNSQ (0.70 – 1.61); ZSTD (-1.3 – 2.0) and Pt Measure Corr (0.29 – 0.64). 2) Summary statistics: Person Reliability (0.74 & 0.76) enough category; Item Reliability (0.71 & 0.73) is sufficient category, and Cronbach Alpha Reliability (0.81) is very good category. The final result is concluded, as many as 1 question out of 20 questions developed (5%) fall into the misfit category. Keywords: Reaction Rate Question Instrument, HOTS, Rasch Model.
