Abstract

This research aimed to produce interactive learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that are effective to learn particle waves dualism concept for students and aimed to identify students response about the attractiveness of the product. This research used research and development (RD) method with implementation procedure referenced on the research procedure according to Suyanto and Sartinem that were consisted of seven steps, that is: (1) analysis of the needs; (2) identification of resources; (3) identification of product specifications; (4) product development; (5) internal test; (6) external test; and (7) production. This research produced interactive learning media in the concept of particle waves dualism as a source of independent learning for students grade XII IPA SMA Islam Terpadu Baitul Muslim Way Jepara. The media was declared effective based on the success of students reached the minimum completeness criteria (is called KKM) and it was declared attractive based on questionnaire analysis results.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang efektif dalam membelajarkan konsep dualisme gelombang partikel pada siswa serta untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap kemenarikan dari produk yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RD) dengan prosedurpelaksanaan mengacu pada prosedur penelitian menurut Suyanto dan Sartinem yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan;(2) identifikasi sumberdaya;(3) identifikasi spesifikasi produk; (4) pengembangan produk;(5) uji internal; (6) uji eksternal;dan(7) produksi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada konsep dualisme gelombang partikel sebagai sumber belajar mandiri bagi siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Islam Terpadu Baitul Muslim Way Jepara. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to produce science learning video in divinity and loving environment value contents for SMP/MTs students, to see the effectiveness of the product and to know the student’s responses about the product. The method of this research used research and development (RD) method. The trial of the product consisted of one on one test and field test. This research produced the learning video “Perubahan di Sekitar Kita” in divinity and loving environment value contents which is containing physics changes, chemical changes, pollution, and global warming. The results of this research indicated that video were very interesting, very easy to use, and very useful. This learning video was declared effective to use as a multimedia learning based on N-gain average of 0,57 (medium category) and 80 % of students completed KKM result study from the test with average 78,67.Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah: (1) menghasilkan video pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan bagi siswa SMP/MTs, (2) melihat efektivitas produk, dan (3) mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan atau research and development. Uji coba terdiri dari uji coba satu lawan satu dan uji lapangan. Dalam pengembangan ini, dihasilkan video pembelajaran “Perubahan di Sekitar Kita” bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, yang mencakup materi perubahan fisika, perubahan kimia, pencemaran, dan pemanasan global. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran sangat menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Video pembelajaran dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,57 (kategori sedang) dan 80% siswa uji tuntas KKM dengan hasil belajar rata-rata 78,67.Kata kunci: nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pembelajaran sains, pengembangan, video.

Abstract

One example of video as a interactive learning resources (ILR) is Video On Demand (VOD), can be modified as desired editor and learning purposes. Video already many downloaded or accessed online, there are even video designed very interesting and interactive, but not entirely represent indicators of learning. This study uses a Research and Development’s model, instructional media development procedures according to Suyanto as a reference. The purpose of the research is to produce an interactive learning resource in the form of VOD with expansion resources of learning based on information comunication Technology (ICT). Internal test results stated that ILR has decent quality and in accordance with the theory. External test results has very attractive quality, very easy to use, and very useful. Field tests results was declared effective multimedia is used as source of learning media as well, 83.77% of students completed KKM.Salah satu video sebagai sumber belajar interaktif (SBI) adalah Video On Demand (VOD), yang mampu dimodifikasi sesuai keinginan editor dan keperluan pembelajaran. Video saat ini banyak diunduh dan diakses secara online, bahkan terdapat video pembelajaran yang didesain sangat menarik dan interaktif, tetapi belum seluruhnya merepresentasikan indikator pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan mengadaptasi prosedur pengembangan media instruksional menurut Suyanto sebagai acuan. Tujuan penelitian adalalah menghasilkan sumber belajar interaktif berupa VOD dengan perluasan sumber belajar berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Hasil uji internal menyatakan SBI memiliki kualitas layak dan sesuai teori. Hasil uji eksternal memiliki kualitas sangat menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Hasil uji lapangan, multimedia ini dinyatakan efektif, sedangkan berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 83,77 % siswa tuntas KKM.Kata kunci: VOD, SBI, perluasan sumber belajar

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out the increasing of learning result in the cognitive domain, to grow skill of science process, to develop activities, to form characters and to grow students’ learning attitudes by using ICT simulation media as an experimental supplement in learning the measuring devices. This research was conducted in Junior High School 1 Way Kenanga, Tulang Bawang Barat. The research population was all students of Grade VII meanwhile the sample was class VII A. The sampling technique was taken using cluster random sampling. Based on the results of the research by using ICT simulation media as an experimental supplement in learning the measuring devices showed that there were improvements in cognitive domain learning results, growth of students’ science process skills, development of students’ learning activities, form of students’ learning characters and growth students’ learning attitudes.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains, mengembangkan aktivitas, membentuk karakter dan menumbuhkan sikap belajar siswa dari pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai suplemen eksperimen dalam pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Way Kenanga, Tulang Bawang Barat. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII sedangkan sampel yaitu kelas VII A. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan memanfaatkan media TIK simulasi sebagai suplemen eksperimen dalam pembelajaran alat ukur menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, tumbuhnya keterampilan proeses sains siswa, berkembangnya aktivitas belajar siswa, terbentuknya karakter belajar siswa dan tumbuhnya sikap belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, karakter, keterampilan proses sains, media TIK simulasi, suplemen eksperimen

Abstract

According to the writer’s observation in the school by using interview with the students and science teacher in the SMPN Bina Bhakti Way Pangubuan, it is given that the teacher has not use the school facilities maximally such as teaching laboratory. In the basic competence states of matter, students can not receivethat material clearly, exactly in investigate the physical properties based on its states and its application in the students’ daily life. Considering these problems, therefore the writer develops the worksheet as a learning media. The worksheet is developed based on KPS. KPS is the directly investigate by students thatcontains the questions (doing and predicting observation, rouping, predicting, communicating, and hypothesizing an event), the activity of science ability process (pre-laboratory and laboratory activity), summarizing, doing the exercises, and evaluating. There is a key answer of this worksheet. The designconsists of seven steps development procedure and product test, they are:analysis necessity, identification resources to meet a need, identificationspecifications intended products users, product development, test internal proper test products, test external test expedience products by users and the laststage production. The result of internal test shows that the media has been developed satisfies theory criteria and fit for use as one of the media of learning. The result of external test shows that the quality of this media is very interesting, very easy to use, and very useful and effective to use as a learningmedia. It can be seen from the students’ enthusiastic and the students’ ability to answer worksheet’s questions. So, we can conclude this worksheet learning media based KPS has been tested and proper to use with the quality is very interesting, very easy to use, and very useful, and it is called effective as alearning media. Keywords: Worksheet Students Based Skill Process Science

Abstract

The Purpose of development is to make worksheet based guided discovery, knowing learning outcomes and responses’s students on the worksheet. The Development procedures that used are: 1) identification of needs, 2) the development design formulation and tool for measuring success, 3) product development, 4) product trials, 5) revision and product ready. The research’s result is worksheet shaped practical instructions for PhET simulation’s program of Ohm's law and Kirchoff's law 1 experiments. Worksheet effective because 84.2% students completed the test. The average of students’s learning outcomes is 87 with standard deviation of 11. Student performance is very good with a percentage of 93.02%. Attitude of students during learning process using worksheet is very positive with percentage of 82.83%. Based on test result got attractiveness score is 3,17 and easiness score is 3,05 so worksheets attractive and easy used by students.Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah membuat LKS berbasis penemuan terbimbing, mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan siswa terhadap LKS tersebut. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan antara lain: 1) identifikasi kebutuhan, 2) perumusan desain pengembangan dan alat ukur keberhasilan, 3) pengembangan produk, 4) uji coba produk, 5) revisi dan produk siap. Hasil penelitian berupa LKS berbentuk petunjuk praktikum sebagai panduan program simulasi PhET, percobaan hukum Ohm dan hukum 1 Kirchoff. LKS efektif karena 84,2 % siswa tuntas. Rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 87 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 11. Keterampilan siswa sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 93,02 %. Sikap siswa selama pembelajaran menggunakan LKS sangat positif dengan persentase sebesar 82,83 %. Berdasarkan hasil uji diperoleh skor kemenarikan 3,17 dan skor kemudahan 3,05 sehingga LKS menarik dan mudah digunakan oleh siswa.Kata kunci: pengembangan, lembar kerja siswa, penemuan terbimbing

Abstract

A module is a lesson material presented systematically with understandablelanguage for students according to their ability and knowledge levels, so that thestudents will be able to learn autonomously with or without teacher assistances.However, there is no module in State Junior High School 20 in Bandar Lampungthat is in accordance with grade-based curriculum (or KTSP) 2006. Therefore, amodule that is able to improve student’s autonomous learning is required todevelop. The learning media development design of printed-based physic module(or MFBC) is adapted from instructional media development process by Sadiman(2008) as the reference that consists of need analysis of development program,development design, product development, and product evaluation, producttesting and product printing. This evaluation consists of formative evaluation I,formative evaluation II, formative evaluation III. In material test by experts, thescore was 2,8 and this belonged to good category. The second evaluation, thedesign test by experts, the score was 2,9. This score belonged to good categoryand was in accordance with BSNP standard. The third evaluation was on-on-onetest that was conducted to three students from different classrooms (classroomVIID, VIIE and VIIG) and the score was 3,63. It belonged to good category. The lasttest was field test to find out the effectiveness and attractiveness of the module.Field test was conducted to 36 students in VIIE classroom in State Junior HighSchool 20 in Bandar Lampung. The effectiveness test result showed 77,7%student accomplished the material and they got average marks of 74,07, and itwas above the minimum criteria of accomplishment (or KKM). Attractiveness,easiness, and benefit tests were conducted to students who experienced learningusing developed module by giving them questionnaires. The results showed thatthe developed module was very interesting, very easy and very beneficial.Keywords: development research, learning media, printed-based media, module

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the multimedia learning in science that consist of devinity and love of the environment that validated and to know the attractiveness, easiness, and usefulness, along with effectiveness of the product. The development of multimedia was began with informed analysis and formulated the purpose, collected basic materials, made the synopsis and initial manuscripts to produce prototype I. The prototype I was evaluated by the material and media experts, limited test and revised to the end of the manuscript. Then a product tested in the field before produced the final products. This research applied one group pretest. The result of internal test by expert is stated that the product is suitable as a learning media. The result of external test by user stated that using multimedia has excellent of attractiveness quality, excellent of ease quality, and excellent of expediency quality and multimedia effectiveness in learning with student’s percentages result of learning more than 80% of KKM from knowledge, affective, and skilled.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan yang divalidasi, mengetahui kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kemanfaatan serta keefektifan produk. Pengembangan produk diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan dan merumuskan tujuan, mengumpulkan pokok materi, membuat sinopsis dan naskah awal untuk memproduksi prototipe I. Prototipe I dievaluasi oleh ahli, uji terbatas dan direvisi menjadi naskah akhir. Sebelum dihasilkan produk final produk diuji di lapangan. Hasil uji internal dinyatakan bahwa produk layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji lapangan oleh pengguna, dinyatakan bahwa multimedia yang digunakan memiliki kualitas kemenarikan, kemudahan dan kemanfaatan sangat baik, serta produk efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan presentase hasil belajar siswa lebih dari 80% tuntas KKM dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan.Kata kunci: multimedia, nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pembelajaran sains

Abstract

Assessment is an important learning aspect. This research was intended in order to know is there any positive influence and significany e-portofolio assessment through facebook group by using ARIAS model on learning achievement. The research population was all of the students of XI class of 1 Tanjung Bintang Senior High School, South Lampung in even semester of 2012-2013 academic.The sample class was XI IPA 1 , chosen by using purposive sampling. This reaseaech used one shot case study design. The result showed there were positive influences and a significant e-portofolio assessment through facebook group by using ARIAS model. The students’ average assessment scores were 72. Meanwhile, average scores of students’ learning achievement were 18.9% very high category, 51.3% high category,and 16.2 % enough category.Asesmen adalah aspek yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan asesmen e-portofolio melalui group facebook menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar. Pada penelitian ini, popilasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Bintang, Lampung Selatan, semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013, Pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu XI IPA1. Penelitian menggunakan desain one shot case study. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan asesmen e-portofolio melalui group facebook menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA. Rata-rata nilai asesmen e-portofolio siswa adalah 72. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa adalah sebesar 18,9% dengan kriteria baik sekali, 64,8% dengan kategori tinggi, dan 16,2% dengan kategori sedang.Kata kunci: asesmen, e-portofolio, facebook, hasil belajar

Abstract

The goals of this research were to determine the differences in cognitive learning outcomes, describe the Science Process Skills (SPS), the character, the activities and students’ attitudes toward the use of media ICT simulation as a complement demonstration in the learning measuring instruments. The research has been done in the first semester of 2013/2014 in SMPN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The sample of this research was class VIIA of SMPN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah randomly. The data was analyzed by using Paired Sample T-Test. The researcher concludes by the use of media ICT simulation as complement demonstration improve that cognitive learning outcomes, to foster character, increase the activity of students and to foster positive attitudes of students toward the use of ICT media simulation as a complement demonstration in the learning measuring instruments.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar ranah kognitif, mendeskripsikan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS), karakter, aktivitas dan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai komplemen demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester ganjil di SMPN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VIIA SMPN 3 Tulang Bawang Tengah menggunakan teknik random. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Kesimpulan penelitian setelah pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai komplemen demonstrasi terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas siswa serta menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai komplemen demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur.Kata kunci : aktivitas siswa, karakter siswa, keterampilan proses sains, komplemen demonstrasi, media TIK simulasi
