Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu kompetensi yang paling penting adalah literasi matematis, namun peserta didik masih memiliki tingkat kemampuan yang rendah, terutama dalam materi terkait statistik. Penggunaan LKPD elektronik berbasis discovery learning merupakan solusi alternatif untuk masalah ini. Pengembangan LKPD elektronik berbasis discovery learning yang valid dan praktis menjadi tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design research tipe development studies, yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, dan assessment phase. Dokumen, walkthrough, dan lembar penilaian merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 20 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru berpartisipasi dalam penelitian selaku subjek penelitian untuk menghasilkan LKPD elektronik berbasis model discovery learning pada materi statistika yang valid dan praktis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan LKPD elektronik sudah valid dari segi face validity, content validity, dan construct validity berdasarkan keterangan yang dibuat oleh para ahli selama expert review dan sudah melewati uji keterbacaan pada tahap one-to-one. Penerapan LKPD elektronik pada tahap small group menunjukkan kepraktisan dengan kriteria baik berdasarkan dari angket respon  peserta didik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa LKPD elektronik yang dikembangkan sangat baik atau praktis dan layak dipakai dalam proses pembelajaran serta memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. AbstractOne of the most necessary competencies is mathematical literacy, but students still have a low level of aptitude, especially in statistics material. An additional solution to this issue is the usage of digital worksheets built on discovery learning. The development of electronic worksheets based on valid and practical discovery learning is the aim of this research. The research method used is design research of the type of development studies, which consists of three stages, name preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Documents, walkthroughs, and the study’s methods for collecting data include assessment sheets. As many as 20 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru participated in the research as research subjects to produce electronic worksheets based on discovery learning models on valid and practical statistical material. The research findings show that electronic worksheets are valid in terms of face validity, content validity, and construct validity based on information made by experts during the expert review and have passed the readability test at the one-to-one stage. The application of electronic LKPD at the small group stage shows practicality with good criteria based on student response questionnaires. it come to an end that the developed electronic LKPD was very good or practical and ideal for use in the educational process and may enhance students' literacy in mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis RME dengan konteks kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain yang menggunakan model pengembangan yaitu model Gravemeijer & Cobb. Desain penelitian ini mempunyai tiga fase yaitu (1) mempersiapkan percobaan; (2) melaksanakan percobaan; dan (3) analisis retrospektif. Dalam artikel ini akan dibahas  tahap mempersiapkan percobaan, yaitu 1) analisis kebutuhan dan kurikulum, (2) analisis dan penyusunan konsep RME, (3) analisis dan eksplorasi kearifan lokal suku sunda di sukabumi sebagai sumber belajar matematika, (4) Pengembangan bahan ajar matematika berbasis RME dan (5) Validasi. hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar matematika berbasis RME dengan konteks kearifan lokal telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Desain pembelajaran matematika berbasis RME dengan konten kearifan lokal merupakan desain pembelajaran yang mengeksplorasi fenomena atau kejadian yang dapat dibayangkan siswa, memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengalami proses penemuan kembali konsep matematika dengan cara melakukan kegiatan yang memungkinkan melalui bimbingan guru serta memberikan ruang kreasi yang luas kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan model matematika terhadap masalah matematika yang dihadapi.

Abstract

Masalah pada penelitian ini masih terdapat kecenderungan siswa yang terfokus pada contoh soal, siswa bingung ketika diberikan soal dengan bentuk dan konsep yang berbeda , mengakibatkan siswa kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikirnya. Untuk itu dengan diterapkannnya pendekatan  contextual teaching and learning diharapkan dapat memberikan pengaruh positif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, kemampuan komunikasi dan kberpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan contextual teaching and learning  terhadap hasil belajar , kemampuan komunikasi dan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dan diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukan bahwa pendekatan contextual teaching and learning memberikan peningkatan pada hasil belajar, kemampuan komunikasi serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, berdasarkan dari hasil uji data nilai pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa bahwa pendekatan contextual teaching and learning berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa, kemampuan komunikasi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis, kolaborasi dan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang esensial dan perlu dimiliki siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, namun kenyataannya di lapangan kemampuan tersebut masih tergolong rendah dan belum optimal. Untuk itu diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis, kolaborasi dan berpikir kritis siswa. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI ( Group Investigation ) dengan pendekatan saintifk yang digunakan bertujuan untuk: 1) menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI (Group Investigation) terhadap hasil belajar siswa; 2) menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe GI ( Group Investigation).) terhadap keterampilan komunikasi matematis, kolaborasi, dan berpikir kritis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII 2 di salah satu MTs kabupaten Rokan Hulu sebanyak 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, angket, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan . Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI ( Group Investigation ) meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa; 2) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI ( Group Investigation). ) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi matematis, kolaborasi, dan berpikir kritis siswa. Mathematical communication skills, collaboration and critical thinking are essential abilities and need to be possessed by students in learning mathematics, but in reality, these abilities are still relatively low and not optimal. For this reason, a learning model is needed that can facilitate students' mathematical communication skills, collaboration and critical thinking. The GI (Group Investigation) type of cooperative learning with a scientific approach used aims to: 1) analyze the effect of learning using the GI (Group Investigation) type of cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes; 2) analyze the effect of learning using the GI (Group Investigation) cooperative model on students' mathematical communication skills, collaboration, and critical thinking. This type of research is an experiment with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were class VIII 2 in one of the MTs in Rokan Hulu district, consisting of 35 students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, questionnaires, and observations. The data analysis technique used was hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test. The results of this study are as follows: 1) the application of the GI cooperative learning model (Group Investigation) improves students' mathematics learning outcomes; 2) the application of the cooperative learning model type GI (Group Investigation) can improve students' mathematical communication skills, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Abstract

Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari materi perkuliahan menjadikan prestasi belajar dan daya juang mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi Pendidikan Matematika menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kemampuan mathematical resilience dan menganalisis efektivitas teknik biblioterapi dalam mengembangkan mathematical resilience pada calon guru matematika. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode pre-experiment design. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika di Universitas PGRI Adi Buana dengan jumlah 84 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala mathematical resilience dan soal ujian matematika yang disajikan dalam 3 paket soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji komparasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan matematik calon guru matematika dalam kategori sedang dan tingkat kemampuan mathematical resilience pada kategori sedang juga dengan persentase 50%. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa teknik biblioterapi dapat mengembangkan mathematical resilience calon guru matematika secara signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian teknik biblioterapi dapat meningkatkan mathematical resilience 17,8% dan diharapkan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menambah rekomendasi teknik konseling lainnya dalam mengembangkan mathematical resilience pada calon guru matematika.The students learning difficulty in the course material makes the learning achievement and fighting power of final year students of the Mathematics Education program decrease. The purpose of this study to identify the ability of mathematical resilience and analyze the effectiveness of bibliotherapy techniques in developing mathematical resilience in prospective mathematics teachers. The research approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive with pre-experiment design method. The subjects of the study were students of the mathematics education program at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana with a total of 84 students. The research instruments used are the mathematical resilience scale and mathematics exam questions presented in 3 question packages. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with comparative tests. The results showed the level of mathematical ability of prospective mathematics teachers in the medium category and the level of mathematical resilience in the medium category also with a percentage of 50%. This study also proved that bibliotherapy techniques can significantly develop the mathematical resilience of prospective mathematics teachers. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of bibliotherapy techniques can increase mathematical resilience by 17.8% and it is expected that further researchers can add recommendations for other counseling techniques in developing mathematical resilience in prospective mathematics teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran e-komik berbasis etnomatematika dan berpikir kreatif materi geometri untuk siswa kelas VII MTs/SMP. Jenis penelitiannya adalah pengembangan mengacu pada desain ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Media ini dikembangkan dengan mendesain gambar melalui aplikasi Canva untuk  meningkatkan  motivasi dan berpikir kreatif siswa. Uji keefektivan media e-komik berbasis etnomatematika dan berpikir kreatif materi geometri dianalisis melalui uji-t dan N-Gain berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui angket motivasi dan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas VII di MTs Askhabul Kahfi Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor uji kevalidan oleh ahli sebesar 3,38 sehingga masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid, 95% peserta uji kepraktisan menyatakan media dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, e-komik efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan skor n-gain sebesar 0,363 sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar karena penggunaan e-komik dalam kriteria sedang dan media e-komik efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Sehingga media e-komik berbasis etnomatematika dan berpikir kreatif pada materi geometri dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan karena valid, praktis dan efektif. Indikator originalitas mendapatkan rata-ratan skor terendah dari indikator lainnya sehingga perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematical understanding in solving mathematical problems from the perspective of Skemp's theory of understanding which consists of instrumental understanding and relational understanding. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in which students' mathematical understanding in solving exponential problems is described based on the results of mathematical understanding tests and interviews. This research was conducted in class X SMA Darul Faqih Indonesia and the research subjects were taken from students with high, medium, and low mathematical abilities, each of which was represented by two subjects from each category.The results of this study indicate that students with high mathematical abilities are able to find mathematical relationships, apply them, and explain the reasons, which include relational understanding. Students with moderate mathematical ability are able to apply memorized procedures in finding solutions to problems but are unable to explain the reasons, which include instrumental understanding. Meanwhile, students with low mathematical ability have low mathematical understanding because they are unable to meet the indicators of relational understanding and instrumental understanding. This study recommends that students with low mathematics abilities are trained to apply mathematical theory to increase their understanding into instrumental understanding while students with moderate mathematical abilities are trained to find mathematical theory to increase their understanding into relational understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase of improving in The Mathematical Creative  Thinking Ability and Soft skills of chemical analysts school students in the Bogor City through  Videoscribe Multimedia Teaching Materials. This research uses the Research & Development (R & D) method by researching and developing multimedia videoscribe learning materials in mathematics learning. The instruments use in this study are videoscribe teaching materials, RPP, pretest and posttest, and soft skills scale questionnaire. The tests use the essay test because they are used to measure high-level abilities. The attitude scale use the Likert Model soft skills scale. The research use two different classes. The first class is an experimental group that obtains learning using videoscribe, while the second class is a control group that does not use videoscribe. The results showed that students who obtained learning using videoscribe media has an increase in creative thinking ability and soft skills better than students who use conventional learning. Data analysis of the increase in the creative thinking ability using 2-way analysis of varians statistical test with interaction, while data analysis for the improvement of soft skills uses the U-Mann Whitney Non-Parametric Test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektivitas pembelajaran teknik jarimatika dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa kelas III SDIT Fatahillah. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan teknik jarimatika. (2) mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa  yang diajar menggunakan teknik jarimatika. (3) mengetahui keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran teknik jarimatika dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDIT Fatahillah. Jumlah sampel 30 siswa, dimana 15 siswa kelas kontrol dan 15 siswa kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa pada kelas tanpa mengguakan teknik jarimatika termasuk dalam kategori rendah. 2) tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa termasuk dalam ketegori baik. 3) penggunaan pembelajaran teknik jarimatika efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa.This study discusses the effectiveness of learning the jarimatics technique in improving the math skills of third grade students at SDIT Fatahillah. This study aims (1) to determine the level of students' mathematical numeracy skills who are taught without using the jarimatics technique. (2) knowing the level of students' math skills taught using the jarimatics technique. (3) find out the effectiveness of the application of learning techniques jarimatika in improving students' math skills. This type of research is experimental research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this study were third grade students at SDIT Fatahillah. The number of samples is 30 students, of which 15 students are in the control class and 15 are in the experimental class. The results of the study show that 1) the level of students' math skills in the class without using the jarimatics technique is in the low category. 2) the level of students' math skills is included in the good category. 3) the use of learning effective learning techniques in improving students' mathematical numeracy skills.

Abstract

Mathematical logic is a mandatory course offered in a range of educational settings. Mathematical logic is a kind of particular understanding. Students must understand the concept of mathematical logic before they can apply it to solve problems. On the other hand, students are divided into two major personality types: extroverts and introverts. Students' personality types influenced their study process. This study was carried out to examine the impact of students' personality types on their conceptual understanding abilities. Where questionnaires for personality examinations and tests for understanding concepts were employed as research instruments. According to research findings, in using the peer teaching flipped classroom model, students' conceptual understanding in math logic courses is strongly affected by personality category. The results of experiments such as peer teaching flipped classrooms exhibit that extrovert students have better conceptual understanding skills than introvert students. On the other hand, students who use the PTFC model are better than students who learn using the conventional models. Creating videos and organizing class discussions has a big impact on students who are outgoing. They can improve their skills while also sharing their knowledge and information with their classmates.
