Abstract

This research aims to produce big book learning media for students' literacy skills in the material of recognizing the syllables "ga-, gi-, gu-, ge-, go-, gem-, gar-, and gim-" in class I Indonesian language learning SD Negeri 139 Palembang which is valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process. The quality of the products developed is assessed from the aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research method is an R&D research and development method using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative data analysis for validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results of this research show that this research produces a valid, practical and effective product. Valid based on the results of the validity assessment of 90.44%, practical based on the results of student and teacher assessments of 89.25%, and effective based on the results of the effectiveness assessment of 83 %. So it can be concluded that the big book media on students' literacy skills in learning Indonesian is valid, practical, and effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

The research aims to develop an augmented reality-based comic book environment to improve literacy in elementary school students. This research used the ADDIE development model and was conducted on 22 grade 2 students at SDN Sumberingin 04. Data collection techniques used include observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis includes analysis of validity, effectiveness and media attractiveness. The validation results illustrate that the augmented reality-based picture storybook media is very valid, with a percentage of 89.5% for media expert validation, 91% for material expert validation, and 90% for language expert validation. In the effectiveness test, the teacher's response showed a percentage of 100%, which means it was very effective. Meanwhile, the attractiveness test through student responses also showed a percentage of 100%, which is included in the very attractive category. The reliability of student responses was calculated using SPSS with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.773. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the augmented reality-based picture story book media developed is suitable for use as a learning medium to increase the desire for reading literacy in elementary school students. It is hoped that this media development will be able to provide positive assistance in efforts to improve the quality of learning and students' literacy skills.

Abstract

Difficulty in listening is a difficulty in understanding what they are listening to and this difficulty in listening can be an obstacle during learning in class, because students can miscapture information or perceptions. This study aims to find out the difficulties of listening experienced by students using audio visual learning media. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The subjects studied were grade III students of SDN Tanah Tinggi 7 Tangerang. The data collection technique uses test sheets, observation sheets, and interview sheets. The results showed that the causes of students' difficulty listening were students feeling bored, having difficulty concentrating, experiencing visual impairment problems, lack of understanding of listening vocabulary, students being noisy and unsettled when approaching the time to go home, lack of interest in fairy tales, dark room conditions and class hours that started too early. This is based on the internal factors of the student, namely from within the student himself and external factors, namely from the physical and social environment around the student.

Abstract

Developing effective and interesting learning media is very important in the educational process, especially at the elementary school level. This article discusses the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora video editing software at Cinta Rakyat Elementary School 104208. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the model proposed by Borg and Gall. Research steps include initial research and information gathering, planning, product draft development, initial field trials, product revisions, main field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The research results show that the use of Filmora in art learning is effective in increasing students' interest, understanding and art skills. Students are more enthusiastic and creative in taking art lessons using Filmora-assisted learning media compared to conventional methods. Teachers also find it easy to convey art material in a more interactive and interesting way. This learning media helps students learn more practically and contextually, which in turn increases their understanding of the material being taught. Thus, the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of art learning in elementary schools. It is hoped that this article can be a reference for educators in utilizing technology to create a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

The world of education continues to develop rapidly after the pandemic and presents various solutions. With the increasing number of learning methods available, and with increasingly varied learning. This article aims to provide an overview for teachers so they can use the Blended Learning learning method well and effectively. It is hoped that Blended Learning can be a solution for more interactive learning in learning. Both interactive between students and between teachers and students. The research method used in this article is literature study from various sources, both journals or results of previous researchers, as well as supporting books. The results of previous research are used in building conclusions.

Abstract

Speaking skills are an essential component of school learning that needs to be learned. In the same way, to support learning activities, students need to develop their social emotional skills. But in reality, some students still have a tough time in speaking also not able to manage their social emotional skills. This study aims to see the effectiveness of show and tell method in speaking also social emotiona skillsl. The method used was experiments with a pre-experimental research design, also used one-shot case study, one sample t-test to test the achievability of learning with minimum completion criteria and independent sample t-test to evaluate a different in speaking skills of male and female students. Fourth grade students in Bandung Regency were the subjects of this study. Based on the results of the study, the average score of students' practical speaking skills was 84.1 seen from the assessment indicators. Show and tell method was effectively used with variations in students' performance.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in unit length conversion is still a problem that must be solved at SDN Ganeas I and II. The students still can't understand the concept of unit length conversion correctly. Therefore, in the learning activities, need a new innovations learning models. This research purpose to determine AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model on the concept of length unit conversion for students grade IV of elementary school.The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design. Data collection with observation and tests.The tests used are pretest and posttest, the sample was grade IV students SDN Ganeas II as the experimental class and grade IV students of SDN Ganeas I as the control class.Data processing techniques using normality tests, homogenenity, t-tests, Mann withney tests, normalized gain tests, with the help of SPSS 26.The results of the study, with using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.000<0.005,then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it is concluded that there is an improvement in students' abilities with the AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model.

Abstract

Storytelling  has become a significant approach in Indonesian language learning, focusing on developing students' speaking skills. In this context, research and literature analysis show that storytelling  is not just a tool for delivering stories but also an effective means of training students to communicate effectively. The various benefits of using storytelling  methods in the context of Indonesian language learning. These findings indicate that storytelling  methods can improve students' speaking abilities in various ways, including improving vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, increasing emotional engagement, dynamic interaction between teachers and students, developing critical and creative thinking, and boosting students' confidence. Therefore, implementing storytelling  methods in Indonesian language learning is an important and beneficial step in developing students' speaking skills comprehensively. This underscores the importance of innovative approaches and student-oriented experiences in improving language learning outcomes. Thus, further research and practice in using storytelling  methods in the context of Indonesian language learning are expected to make a meaningful contribution to enhancing the quality of language education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool to make learning and teaching activities easier, so that students understand lessons more easily, while interactive media is the use of computers to combine text, graphics, audio, moving images (video and animation) into one unit with links and tools. appropriate so that it allows multimedia users to navigate, interact, create and communicate. And literacy skills are the ability to master knowledge in a particular field when someone uses reading and writing skills to deepen their understanding of a subject or topic. This research aims to determine the effect of interactive learning media on students' literacy skills. The research method used is quantitative experiment. The subjects studied were class III students at SDS Tunas Harapan, Tangerang Regency. Data collection instruments use observation, tests and documentation. The research results show that the average results of the pre-test and post-test are different, thereby indicating the influence of interactive media on literacy skills. The pre-test score before being given treatment in the form of interactive media, the score obtained by the control class was 69.5 and the experimental class was 73.7. Meanwhile, the value obtained in the post-test using interactive learning media, the value obtained by the control class was 84.9 and the experimental class was 88.9.
