Abstract

The results of this research indicate an increase in student learning outcomes in class IV mathematics lessons at SD Negeri 097802 Tumbukan Dalig, Simalungun Regency. This is proven by the results of research on the pretest (initial test) where 6 students (31.57%) got a complete score, while 13 students (68.42%) got an incomplete score, with an average learning result of 59.15. In the first cycle posttest, it increased to 11 students (57.89%) who completed while 8 students (42.10%) did not, with an average learning outcome of 66.73. In the second cycle posttest, completeness of learning outcomes increased to 16 students (84.21%) who completed and 3 students (15.78%) received an incomplete score, with an average learning outcome of 75.78. Furthermore, from the results of observations of teacher activities in implementing cycle I learning, an average of 52% (sufficient) was obtained and observations of student activities were obtained with an average of 50 (sufficient). In cycle II the results of teacher observations increased to 84% (very good) and the results of observations of student activities also increased to 86 (very good) thus it was found that by implementing the edutainment method there was an increase in the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 097802 Tumbukan Dalig , Simalungun Regency.

Abstract

Mathematics learning aims to develop students' abilities in solving problems. Mathematics learning is expected to provide students with experience, both in solving mathematical problems and everyday life problems. This article aims to reveal the power of lidimatics, an innovation in mathematics learning using sticks with a qualitative approach using literature studies and a neuroscience approach. By analyzing the results of previous research contained in the article search engine or Google Scholar. With linguistic media, students can easily understand the concept of multiplication through direct experience, reducing the need for memorization and increasing their understanding. As an effective alternative, the linguistic multiplication method illustrates that a creative approach can help students overcome mathematical difficulties better. Through a neuroscience approach in learning mathematics, it provides deep insight into the cognitive processes involved in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of learning media, namely web-based learning media with Google Sites as a site creation tool. A validation test was carried out to assess the feasibility and quality of the Google Sites web-based learning media for grade V elementary school science learning. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques involve observation or observations, and questionnaires. The results of the validation test by two validators, namely the media expert validator obtained an average percentage value of 67.5%, interpreted into the feasible category, and the material expert validator obtained an average percentage value of 100% in the very feasible category. Students' responses to the media achieved 100% results in the very appropriate category. And the teacher's response to learning media received a percentage score of 100% in the very appropriate category. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the Google Sites web-based learning media for grade V elementary school science learning is suitable for use in learning activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the feasibility, usefulness and efficacy of Teachmint-based learning resources in the Unimed PGSD Department of Educational Materials Management course using classroom management strategies. The ADDIE model”analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation”was used in this research and development project. In terms of product validity, the results of data revision and validation from media experts obtained a percentage of 84.35 in the very feasible category, while data validation findings from material experts obtained a percentage of 73.21% which was included in the feasible category. In terms of beauty, 91.60% of the results met the very attractive criteria. In terms of efficacy, students scored an average of 57.6 before the test and an average of 88.8 after the test. The results of the average value show that there are factors that influence the use of Teachmint-based learning resources.

Abstract

The developmental phase of students in Primary School is a period where the desire for freedom emerges within their surroundings. A positive environment has a positive impact on student behavior, while a negative environment can encourage problematic behavior. Problematic behavior can lead to issues both for the students themselves and those around them. Teachers play a crucial role in addressing problematic behavior with a managerial approach, but the use of punishment tends to have negative consequences. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' problematic behavior and analyze the implementation of positive discipline at SD Negeri 02 Pecakaran. This research is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach, involving students from grades IV, V, and VI. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and checklist sheets. The results of this study indicate that problematic student behavior is identified in four situations, influenced by internal and external factors. The family environment is dominant as a trigger for problematic behavior. Positive discipline is considered an effective alternative solution. Through this approach, the school environment can build a culture that motivates students to behave positively without relying on negatively impactful punishments.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the BeSTRA program at SD Kristen Lentera Ambarawa using a goal-free evaluation model. This research uses a qualitative approach with an evaluation method. Data collection techniques use document studies, observations, and interviews. The subjects of the study data included the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, three teachers, and fifteen students in grades 4, 5, and 6. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the planning and implementation of the BeSTRA program were by the BeSTRA cultural guidelines at Lentera Ambarawa Christian Elementary School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The supporting factors of the BeSTRA program are cooperation between school residents and the habituation of the BeSTRA program implementation schedule. The positive impact of the BeSTRA program is to form a clean, polite, orderly, neat, and safe character in students as a habit or habit in everyday life, and create a clean and comfortable environment to live in. However, on the other hand, there are inhibiting factors that become obstacles to the BeSTRA program, namely the lack of time and responsibility of students in implementing the BeSTRA program in schools.
