Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender telah berjalan secara efektif sebagaimana penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Ika Arifah tahun 2019 di Bogor, serta penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Zainan Abidin dan Asep Rohmatullah tahun 2023 di Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, analisis dokumen, dan triangulasi dengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan deduktif ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender belum terlaksana secara optimal (35,90%). Tujuan pemisahan gender adalah untuk mencegah terjadinya percampuran gender di dalam kelas yang dikhawatirkan melanggar syariat Islam. Semakin terstruktur kebijakan kelas berbasis gender maka pengelolaannya akan semakin baik. Selain itu, semakin optimal pelaksanaan kebijakan kelas berbasis gender maka kinerja kepemimpinannya pun akan semakin optimal . Abstrak Penelitian ini ingin menjawab permasalahan tentang kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan apakah kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender telah dilakukan dengan baik sebagaimana yang diteliti oleh Ika Arifah tahun 2019 di Bogor dan Zainan Abidin serta Asep Rohmatullah tahun 2023 di Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara tidak berstruktur, telaah dokumentasi dan triangulasi dengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan deduktif diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender belum maksimal dilaksanakan (35,90%). Tujuan ringkasan gender, agar tidak terjadi percampuran gender dalam pembelajaran di kelas yang dikuatirkan dapat melanggar syariat Islam. Semakin terprogram kebijakan pengelolaan kelas berbasis gender, semakin baik pula pengelolaannya. Semakin optimal penerapan kebijakan kelas berbasis gender, semakin optimal pula kinerja kepemimpinannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Development of Human Resource Quality at SD 46 Banda Aceh. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with school principals and non-participant observation. The results of the study indicate that human resource Development at SD 46 Banda Aceh can be carried out effectively through an inservice training program that is integrated with the specific needs of teachers and staff. schools can improve the quality of education and prepare future generations to face global challenges. Also carried out through four steps (1) needs analysis, (2) compiling a development program, implementing training, evaluating the program and follow-up.

Abstract

The leadership of the madrasah principal is very central in creating changes that can influence group activities towards setting and achieving goals, can be seen as a person who uses applicable structures and procedures to achieve the goals of the madrasah organization. As time goes by, culture or customs are rarely used as a reference or foundation in implementing life values. In the educational environment itself, due to technological developments, advances in the era and even due to the pandemic that is currently hitting the world, it can have an impact on the loss of cultural order or customs that apply in the community that are applied in the school environment, moral decadence is inevitable, education is only focused on transferring knowledge and seems no longer on instilling educational values ​​in the form of character, morals and national personality that loves culture. The management of the Madrasah Principal in implementing the Sumang Opat culture in the environment of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Aceh Tengah begins with planning, organizing, implementing, supervising and evaluating management is the entire process of thinking, grouping all tasks, responsibilities, authorities, in determining all activities carried out in order to achieve the goals of the madrasah. The management of the madrasah principal in developing the Sumang Opat culture, where the madrasah principal seeks to improve the implementation of the Sumang culture, organizes tasks to each personnel according to educational qualifications, in this case the madrasah principal takes action with planning and paying attention to discipline and responsibility in acting. The madrasah principal also supervises and evaluates teachers and students in implementing the Sumang Opat culture in the environment of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Aceh Tengah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of public relations in higher education through a bibliometric analysis approach. The research gap identified in this study is the limited comprehensive study that specifically links the results of bibliometric analysis with the strategic role of public relations in building an image, reputation, and institutional communication in the higher education environment. This study uses a bibliometric analysis method based on Google Scholar indexed article data collected through the Publish or Perish (PoP) software in the period 2020–2025, with a maximum of 1000 relevant articles. Data processing is done using Microsoft Excel and visual mapping is done through the VOSviewer application. Analysis was carried out on publication trends, keyword distribution, and thematic linkages through overlay and density visualization. The results of the study show that the main themes that dominate the literature on the role of public relations in higher education are "public relations", "higher education", and "public relations". There are several main clusters on the keyword map, but topics such as public relations digitization, social media, communication innovation, and relationships with external and internal stakeholders have not emerged dominantly, so there are still research opportunities in this area. The overlay visualization marks the emergence of new issues in the 2022–2023 period, while the density visualization shows three main density centers with the core theme of public relations and higher education, and the low-density area as new research opportunities. Therefore, this study emphasizes that the role of public relations in universities is in a strategic position to build the image, reputation, and competitiveness of institutions in the digital era and increasingly dynamic global competition. The research recommends the need to develop research on the relationship between the role of public relations and digitalization, innovation, social responsibility, and broader relationships with stakeholders to support adaptive and professional public relations management in the modern higher education environment

Abstract

Character education plays an important role in shaping a child's personality, especially in instilling the value of honesty which is a major aspect in a child's moral development until they are adults. The success of teachers in instilling the value of honesty in early childhood can be seen through changes in behavior that are reflected in their daily activities. Children who are accustomed to being honest from an early age tend to grow into trustworthy and responsible individuals. TK IT Al-Azhar Cairo Banda Aceh has implemented character education, especially the character of honesty, but there are several factors that influence the process of instilling honesty values ​​in children, both from the teacher's personal side and external factors related to the child's environment. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of children's honesty character in TK IT Al-Azhar Cairo Banda Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the principal, curriculum representative, student representative and teacher. Data were obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study indicate that 1. Character education planning at TK IT Al-Azhar Cairo Banda Aceh includes a). determining character education goals that are in accordance with the school's vision and mission, b). preparing rules that support honest behavior, c). integrating honesty values ​​into the curriculum, d). establishing cooperation between schools and parents. 2. The implementation of character education at TK IT Al-Azhar Cairo Banda Aceh, teachers provide real examples through honest attitudes and give appreciation to children who show honesty. 3. Evaluation of character education at TK IT Al-Azhar Cairo Banda Aceh is carried out through direct observation of children's behavior and direct coaching for children as well as recording children's social emotional development in report cards and anecdotal notes.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning (SRL) merupakan aspek penting dalam mendorong kemandirian mahasiswa dalam proses belajar. Mahasiswa sering menunjukkan keterbatasan dalam mempersiapkan materi dan menyelesaikan tugas di luar kelas, khususnya pada mata kuliah Elektronika Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat SRL mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika di UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup kepada 30 mahasiswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden (100%) memiliki tingkat SRL pada kategori tinggi, dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 67,71. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu merencanakan, memonitor, dan mengevaluasi pembelajarannya secara mandiri. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan strategi SRL dalam pembelajaran Elektronika Dasar, sebagai upaya peningkatan efektivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The strategy of the madrasah principal is an important step in managing and developing the relationship between the school and the community. Public Relations (PR) plays a strategic role in building a positive image of the madrasah and establishing effective communication between the madrasah and its external environment. However, the role of PR has not been fully optimized in many educational institutions. This study aims to identify the strategies employed by the principal of MAN 4 Aceh Besar to enhance the role of PR and to explore the challenges encountered during the process. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principal applies integration and intensive strategies, which serve to strengthen communication with parents, disseminate information via social media, manage public opinion, and increase community participation. However, these strategies face challenges such as limited human resources, lack of training, and restricted access to information. Enhancing PR capacity and managerial support is necessary to optimize the PR function. This study suggests that the madrasah principal should continue strengthening strategies to improve the role of PR.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the principal manages the integration of character education values in SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the principal at SD Negeri 46 applies a comprehensive management strategy, involving the entire school community, including teachers, students, and parents, in the character development process. Extracurricular programs and social activities held at the school serve as a means to instill positive values, such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. In addition, continuous evaluation of the character education program is carried out to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the activities implemented. The results of the study in the school show that: the principal's management has been running effectively, this can be seen from the principal's habits in creating a learning environment that supports the development of student character, which produces a superior generation in academic aspects. This study is expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of character education management practices in other elementary schools, while still upholding integrity and strong moral value

Abstract

This study investigates the students’ perceptions of using English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) in English for Islamic studies courses. Using a mixed-methods design, the research involved 50 students from the English language education department as survey participants, and 10 students were randomly selected for follow-up interviews. The findings reveal that EMI contributes positively to students’ comprehension of the subject and significantly enhance their English language proficiency. Students also reported that their confidence and motivation in taking the course improved. These insights can inform future policy and pedagogical strategies, such as implementing translanguaging practices, improving language support, and incorporating Islamic values into EMI.

Abstract

Nowadays, the phenomenon shows that promiscuity is not only engaged in by teenagers, even children whose status is still in elementary school feel how promiscuity is enjoyed. This is a concern for the public, academics, and most importantly parents. Parents feel uneasy when on social media they present photos and even videos of elementary school children who fall into promiscuity and this goes viral freely. One of the consequences of this promiscuity is the lack of religious education, one of which starts from compulsory prayer. Prayer is the initial religious foundation for children. If this is not handled quickly and appropriately, then the concern is that the morals of the nation's successors will be threatened. This article tries to present how the hadith talks about the commandment of prayer and the perspective of sex education for children and its impact on moral education.
