Jurnal EDUKASI (Media Kajian Bimbingan Konseling) is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly journal managed and published by Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The journal publishes various researches and literary reviews in the field of Education science and Educational Counceling providing reviewed scholarly articles that suggest new concepts and best practices for teachers, lecturers, researchers, and education counceling practitioners in various places. This journal was established and initiated by a group of experts in Education Science and Education Counceling in Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. This journal is published biannually in January and July.

<![CDATA[Academic procrastination is the habit of delaying work or work without any clear reason. This habit can adversely affect students. So researchers want to help this problem by giving treatment through Islamic group guidance services. This study uses a quasi experimental design with testing carried out pre-post design. The population in this study were 116 students who found 57% or about 70 students procrastinated. The sample in this study were 8 students taken by purposive sampling. The analysis was carried out through the Wilcoxon test, the result of which was obtained z-score of -2,366 and a significance level of 0,018. This means proving that Islamic group guidance services are effective in reducing Student academic procrastination. ]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan remaja untuk dapat diterima oleh lingkungannya. Salah satunya adalah yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal. Kecerdasan interpersonal menjadi penting karena pada dasarnya remaja tidak dapat hidup sendiri. Banyak kegiatan dalam hidup terkait dengan orang lain. Remaja yang gagal mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal akan banyak mengalami hambatan dalam dunia sosial. Akibatnya mereka mudah tersisihkan secara sosial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran kecerdasan interpersonal melalui penerapan pendekatan konseling islami terhadap peserta didik SMA Negeri 15 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen, dengan sampel sebanyak 31 peserta didik. Penerapan konseling islami terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur skala kecerdasan interpersonal (SKI) yang dikembangkan peneliti dan terdiri dari 54 butir soal dengan empat jawaban pilihan. Indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,947  sehingga dapat dikatakan instrumen tersebut reliabel yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai alat ukur. Secara umum kecerdasan interpersonal peserta didik 69% pada sempel penelitian berada pada katagori sedang.]]>

<![CDATA[Counseling services are a process of assistance in order to assist individuals to find their way to goodness. The counselor as the organizer (subject) who provides assistance to the counselee in the form of counseling services, the gift is able to first bring himself first to goodness. The goodness is in relation to the people around, and their relationship with Allah SWT. To accompany counselees towards goodness, counselors need to have good expectancy, so that they can bring counselee thinking toward goodness. Good thinking skills, based on a good heart condition. Heart as the center of all elements of human beings. The heart must be maintained by various tips such as those delivered by Sunan Bonang (Islamic Ulama), namely; 1) reading the Qur'an and its meanings, 2) establishing night prayers (tahajjud) 3) gathering with pious people, 4) multiplying fasting 5) remembrance night.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of applying group guidance with a positive behavior support approach to improve student discipline. The method used is true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The experimental group received group guidance for 9 sessions and in the control group did not receive training. The population in this research were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 229 Jakarta. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, the sample in this study amounted to 20 people who had a low discipline category and were divided into two groups namely 10 experimental group students and 10 control group students. While the technique of analyzing data using descriptive statistics using empirical mean to see the average pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group and the control group. Can be seen from the comparison of the pretest score 274 and posttest 392 in the experimental group and get a score of 118 which means an increase of 69.8%. The results of testing the hypothesis with the Wilcoxson test, a signed ranking test indicates that the value of Asymp. Sig of 0.005 <0.05 (Significant) which means that through the results of the calculation can be interpreted as a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group and can prove what is meant by the guidance group that requires positive behavioral support to increase student discipline]]>

<![CDATA[Through a preliminary study with High School Counseling Teacher from High School 01 Jatisrono, Wonogiri, Central Java that obedience to school rules is still in the low category. On the other hand, students in their teens have the characteristics to conform with high peers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer conformity in terms of gender with obedience to school rules. This research is a type of correlational quantitative research. Sampling using simple random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 151 students spread throughout class XI. Measuring instruments used are the psychological scale of peer conformity and psychological scale of obedience to school rules. Analysis of the data used in the hypothesis test is the Carl Pearson product moment correlational test. The results showed that with the level of peer conformity in male and female students who were in the moderate category and found a positive and significant relationship between peer conformity in terms of gender with obedience to school rules with a low degree of correlation. Obtained correlation results of 0.261 with a significance of 0.001. From these results it can be understood that the higher the peer conformity, the higher obedience to school rules.]]>

The implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation at SMAN 1 Arongan Lambalek aims to see the progress and obstacles experienced in the implementation of counseling programs such as the lack of additional knowledge obtained by guidance and counseling teachers from year to year, such as training, seminars and so on, and availability rooms that are not ideal so that when doing archives on the archive guidance and counseling activities are quickly broken. <![CDATA[This study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and empathy for altruism in class XI of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in SMA N 3 Demak, Central Java. The method used is quantitative. Where the source of the initial research researchers conducted interviews with BK teachers in schools, which was followed up with the distribution of psychological scales in the second study and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was performed using quantitative data analysis. Data validity test is carried out with the application of SPSS 21. The results of the data test results in this study can be useful for BK teachers where it can be a means of making new breakthroughs in providing counseling services in the private and social fields that can be applied both with classical services, group guidance or counseling group.]]>
