Abstract

The process of batik tulis (hand-waxed batik) dying in Kalinyamat Wetan, Tegal Municipality is performed in stooping and squatting working postures. Workers’ both hands hold a cloth and dip the cloth into a bucket containing colorants. When this dip dyeing process proceeds continuously for an enormous number of cloths, it will eventually result in musculoskeletal complaint, particularly in the such parts of body as the back, neck, leg, upper arm, lower arm and wrist. This research aims at designing an ergonomic batik dying machine to enable a natural body posture at work. The research anthropometry data and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method. The research on batik craftswomen’s working posture during the traditional dip dyeing process found that the stooping and squatting worker’s posture scores are 4-8 with medium to high musculoskeletal levels (needs to needs to be immediately corrected). Meanwhile, the machine dip dyeing work position with standing body posture scores are 2-4 with safe to low musculoskeletal level (maybe need to be corrected in longer term). As for the specification of batik dyeing machine, it uses driving force of 0.190 HP, machine rotation of 72.5 rpm.

Abstract

Indonesia electrical energy consumption growth that reached 9.2% per year requires every plant to always pursue consistent and sustainable improvement to be able to cope with the growth. Maninjau Hydropower is one of the assets of strategic energy resources to meet the electrical energy supply, especially for the southern Sumatera region. Risk management in Maninjau hydropower take place without any standard of measurement standards, so management and risk management actors do not have an overview and guide to improve the performance of the risk management activities. In this study, a standard measure used is to measure the level of maturity of the risk management implementation using the framework of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Measurements carried out for the realization of the value and the expected value of risk management implementation in Maninjau hydropower, as well as designing the evaluation chart implementation of risk management by integrating Key Risk Indicators (KRI) from the expected value. Based on the results of the measurements made, it was found that the actual implementation of risk management in Maninjau hydropower located on the third level (repeatable), while the implementation of the expectation value is found to be at the highest level (leadership), and the percentage achieving overall expectation value has reached 62%. The draft also raises the risk evaluation chart 15 Key Risk Indicators to be achieved by Maninjau hydropower to achieve the expected value at the leadership level.Keywords: Risk Management, RIMS for ERM, KRI

Abstract

A ventilator machine is a medical device that plays an important role in handling Covid-19 cases during a pandemic. Covid 19 patients are arriving at a referral hospital in Jakarta, meaning that the hospital must prepare its medical equipment, including a ventilator machine. The ventilator machine experienced problems because the efficiency of the machine decreased so many patients waited in the ICU room. Machine effectiveness has an average value of 62.26% so it has an impact on disrupting patient services at home. The purpose of this research is to look for factors that cause the lack of effective value of ventilator machines and find effective solutions to increase the effectiveness of ventilator machines so that they can serve Covid-19 patients during a pandemic. This research method combines Focus Group Discussion in determining 5W+1H and implementing the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance to improve the Overall Effectiveness of Equipment on Ventilator machines. This study found a breakdown factor of 54.10%, idle and minor loss of 41.20%, and others of 4.70%. The effect of overall improvement has been able to increase the average effectiveness value by 85.00% from Sep 2021-Feb 2022, so this is supported by the hospital's program in terms of increasing the effectiveness of machines in patient care.

Abstract

This paper tries to model agile supply chain management performance indicators in the palm oil industry. The interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) method is used to find the relationship between these indicators. The ISM stages begin with identifying indicators, compiling contextual relationships, compiling reachability matrices, compiling level partitions, compiling digraphs, and compiling ISM models. Then MICMAC analysis is used to group each of these indicators into four categories based on their driving power and dependence power. In this study, 16 hands of agile supply chain management in the palm oil industry were obtained, of which the four-level ISM model could be constructed. Two indicators are at level 4, six hands are at level 3, three indicators are at level 2, and five indicators are at level 1. Meanwhile, through MICMAC analysis, five indicators are found in the independent indicators category, six hands are in the linkage indicator category, four indicators are included in the dependent indicator category, and one indicator is in the autonomous indicator category. This research can be used by managers in the palm oil industry who want to increase agility in their supply chain. In general, indicators at level 4 can affect indicators at level 3, and so on. So that management can start fixing the indicators at level 4 first. In addition, indicators that have a driving power value in MICMAC analysis can be prioritized to improve their performance.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical services at the hospital are an integral part of the hospital's service system. The quality of the pharmacy service affects the hospital's performance as a service company. Pharmacy Installation of Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital based on data from Public Relation and Public Complaint Installation of Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital get complaint report on pharmacy service as many as 28 complaint reports in 2015 and 42 complaint reports in 2016. A decrease in the quality of care is indicated by the decrease in the number of in-patients in the period of 2013-2015 reaching an average of 2.89%, while the level of complaints on the quality of in-patient pharmacy service remains high with 31 complaints by years. This study aims to analyze the effect of hospital pharmacy service quality on patient satisfaction at pharmacy depo Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital. The measurements of all constructs and research indicators used questionnaires distributed to 320 in-patients as respondents. Path analysis used with software application of SPSS 17 to analyze the data. The result concluded that service quality consisting of service speed, attitude, and empathy of officer, drug availability, pharmacy depot location, and drug information simultaneously, influence on patient's satisfaction with a contribution of 74.10%. However, the partial attitude and empathy of the officers have no effect on the satisfaction of patients. Abstract

This study uses a machine learning algorithm which is the extreme model one of the new learning method of neural networks. Determining the value of forecasting based on actual value. Output generated more quickly in this process, because the learning done in a fast speed and better accuracy rate than conventional forecasting methods. Epoch using the parameter changes and changes in the range of accuracy of test results demonstrate the value of error is quite good during the system testing.Keywords: neural networks, epoch, value of error.

Abstract

PT APCB is an electronics company that produces electronic device components called Narrow Shaft. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the maintenance activity in a pre-turning machine by measuring the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) level. The OEE level is obtained based on the Availability, Performance, and Quality Rate of the pre-turning machine maintenance activities. In addition, the purpose of this study is to identify the causes of the ineffectiveness of pre-turning machine maintenance activities and provide improvement suggestions for maintenance effectiveness at PT APCB. Based on the results of the calculation of the OEE value it is known that the PT APCB company still has not reached the world standard of 85%. This shows that the company still has to improve maintenance activities in the pre-turning process. The calculation of OEE value shows that the lowest OEE level in February 2016 was 48.31%, while the highest OEE level in September 2016 was 83.23%. The low performance of the pre-turning machine process was due to the ineffectiveness of maintenance activities which were caused by 14 factors. The primary causal factor with the highest value is the bar feeder problem with the highest request frequency value of 250.

Abstract

PT Abaisiat Raya is one of the manufacturers of rubber crumb (crumb rubber) in the city of Padang. Latex inventory management system at PT Abaisiat Kingdom basically signinfikan still need improvement. It is based on the planning activities in the warehouse inventory of raw materials firms irregular, thus causing excess stock (over stock) at a time and shortage of stock (stock out) at other times. Process optimization is done with latex inventory system involving factors such as demand forecasting production planning or latex needs during the period of next 12 (in 2012), the costs involved, the waiting time (lead time), the implementation of forecasting methods, determination of size lots (lot sizing), the determination of safety stock (safety stock), and re-ordering time (reorder point), so the output will get a number of requests are for 12 periods ahead, the size of each reservation period, the total cost is required, when re-ordering will be done , as well as how much inventory to latex in the warehouse. Based on these results, it was found that the optimal size of the book is the same as the demand for each period (reservation is made each period) due to a cyclical pattern of demand and decreases throughout the planning period. Value of the stock or safety stock is located in Kg 114,282.20, and re-ordering time (reorder point) to cope with fluctuations do when the stock has reached a level of 333,130.95 kg.Keywords: Forecasting, Time Wait, Lot Size, Safety Supplies, Reorder

Abstract

Distribution process at PT XYZ is identical to one of the variants of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) which there are several vehicles with different capacities and operation cost, called as Heterogeneous Fleet Vehicle Routing Problem (HFVRP). There are two kinds of vehicle that have been used, namely, vehicle As and vehicle Bs. Vehicle As has the higher operation cost than vehicle Bs. Currently, the company implements policies where vehicle Bs is used if all vehicle As have been used. This policy may lead the distribution cost is so expensive and its equal with the operation cost of vehicle As that also high. Routing aims to combine the use of available vehicles to generate minimal distribution costs in servicing the customers. This research uses mathematical model according to the description of the distribution system in the company. The model is verified and tested using the optimization software. Then the constraints of the verifiable mathematical model are used as the basis for developing Insertion Heuristic (IH) algorithm. Comparison of model solutions with developed algorithm solutions showed a difference of 11.6%. This implies that the algorithm generated solution is quite good as one of the heuristic approaches that result in optimal local solutions. Implementation of IH algorithm provides cost savings of 5.97% towards the actual distribution system in the company.

Abstract

Efisiensi menjadi salah satu faktor pencapaian produktivitas suatu perusahaan, baik dari segi bahan baku, kualitas, peralatan, serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Sebagai perusahaan satu-satunya yang menjalankan proses pembotolan dan distribusi produk minuman ringan ternama di bagian Sumatera Tengah, PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Sumatera selalu berupaya meningkatkan produktivitas produksi, sehingga kinerja perusahaan dapat terus dipertahankan. Melalui penelitian ini, dilakukan audit dan evaluasi terhadap kinerja efisiensi proses produksi minuman ringan di PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Sumatera dengan tahapan melakukan pengukuran terhadap efisiensi proses produksi dengan menggunakan 12 indikator Barbiroli secara teknis dan ekonomis. Selain itu, juga dilakukan penentuan status efisiensi proses produksi berdasarkan penilaian pakar secara kualitatif. Sebagai upaya peningkatan efisiensi, direkomendasikan beberapa alternatif perbaikan melalui penentuan prioritas dengan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process.Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa efisiensi teknis proses produksi minuman ringan Frestea Jasmine adalah sebesar 91.58 % yang digolongkan pada tingkatan tinggi sedangkan efisiensi ekonomis adalah sebesar 24.33 % yang digolongkan pada tingkatan sedang. Namun, berdasarkan penilaian tiga orang pakar secara kualitatif, status tingkat efisiensi proses produksi secara teknis berada pada tingkat sedang (medium) dan secara ekonomis berada pada tingkat rendah. Pemilihan alternatif perbaikan dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process menunjukkan bahwa prioritas perbaikan untuk peningkatan efisiensi adalah memperbaiki sistem perawatan mesin produksi dengan bobot 0.476, memperbaiki metode inspeksi proses pembotolan produk dengan bobot 0.293, dan memaksimalkan penggunaan bahan baku produksi dengan bobot 0.231. Dengan demikian, perbaikan terhadap sistem perawatan mesin produksi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia, khususnya untuk minuman jenis Frestea Jasmine, karena penanganan sistem perawatan mesin yang baik berkaitan dengan optimalisasi penggunaan bahan baku, kapasitas produksi, kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, serta biaya produksi.Keywords: Efisiensi teknis dan ekonomis, Analytical Hierarchy Process, prioritas perbaikan
