Abstract

Rumah Sehat adalah bangunan rumah tinggal yang memenuhi syarat kesehatan, yaitu rumah yang memiliki jamban yang sehat, sarana air bersih, tempat pembuangan sampah, sarana pembuangan air limbah, ventilasi rumah yang baik, kepadatan hunian rumah yang sesuai dan lantai rumah yang tidak terbuat dari tanah. Rumah pada dasarnya merupakan tempat hunian yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan setiap orang. Rumah tidak sekedar sebagai tempat untuk melepas lelah setelah bekerja seharian, namun didalamnya terkandung arti yang penting sebagai tempat untuk membangu kehidupan keluarga sehat dan sejahtera. Rumah yang sehat dan layak huni tidak harus berwujud rumah mewah dan besar namun rumah yang sederhana dapat juga menjadi rumah yang sehat dan layak dihuni Rumah sehat adalah kondisi fisik, kimia, biologi didalam rumah dan perumahan sehingga memungkinkan penghuni atau masyarakat memperoleh derajat kesehatan yang optimal.

Abstract

Persaingan yang semakin tinggi menuntut perusahaan untuk bisa beroperasi dengan produktivitas yang maksimal melalui penerapan berbagai strategi optimasi produksi diantaranya adalah TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). TPM sendiri menurut Ahuja (2008) merupakan kunci kesuksesan dari setiap manufacturing optimization strategies karena tanpa mesin yang andal semua program optimasi produksi/manufaktur tidak akan bisa berjalan dengan sempurna. Salah satu metode mengukur tingkat keberhasilan penerapan TPM adalah melalui pengikuran nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). PT. TES merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pangan yaitu produk susu sereal. Permasalahan terbesar yang dihadapi perusahaan saat ini ialah tingginya downtime mesin wrapping. Efek dari downtime tersebut adalah menurunnya kecepatan dan performa mesin sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya OEE. Untuk itulah penelitian ini dilakukan. Data dikumpulkan langsung di lapangan selama 12 minggu (3 bulan). Langkah selanjutnya adalah menghitung nilai OEE diikuti dengan analisa six big losses serta dianalisa dengan menggunakan pareto chart, fishbone diagram dan regresi berganda. Dari pengolahan data diperoleh nilai OEE tertinggi yaitu terdapat pada periode minggu ke-8 dengan persentase sebesar 70,70%, sedangkan nilai OEE terendah terdapat pada periode minggu ke-8 yaitu sebesar 58,50% dengan OEE rata-rata 68.31%. Faktor six big losses yang paling berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya OEE mesin Wrapping High Speed Line 4 diketahui dengan analisa korelasi berganda adalah variabel X2 yaitu Breakdown loss dengan R sebesar -0,46.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to generate a mapping the level of internal customer internalization of the PTS brands based on intellectual commitment and emotional commitment, as well as its influence on the power of WOM. The sample used is PTS' lecturer in Jakarta area as internal customer. Measurement of brand internalization in this research through the assessment of intellectual commitment, and emotional commitment of lecturers to PTS' brand. Data were collected through answers from questionnaires containing sample opinions on research variables. While the model of the influence of intellectual commitment and emotional commitment to WOM is done by using the model of Structural Equation Model (SEM) processed using the PLS program. The result of this research concludes that the lecturer is in the segment of brand activist. Another result of this research is intellectual commitment and emotional commitment are statistically significant influence on WOM. So that the WOM strength of the lecturer, can be built through the improvement of brand understanding, brand trust and brand delivery lecturers.

Abstract

In this global era where the level of competition is higher, in addition to the influence of the suitable marketing strategy is also required strategy from the side of production/productivity. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the manufacturing of snacks especially biscuits. The problem that often occurs in this company is the number of biscuits that are not in accordance with the standard and the production does not reach the target set because the machine suddenly breaks down frequently. To overcome the problems PT. XYZ then choose to implement the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of 8 TPM Pillars and measure the effects on manufacturing performance in the form of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Waste. This study uses questionnaire-based survey method. The number of samples distributed is 40 units. Which returned and filled 33 questionnaires and which is worth to be processed as many as 30 samples. Then tested the validity and reliability of data using SPSS program. Validity critical value R = 0.361 for n = 30 and error rate 5%. For reliability test, R value = 0.60 was selected. From the validity test, there are 7 items of questions that are not valid so it is not included in the next process. For the reliability test of the questionnaire is quite reliable with the value of Cronbach's alpha of 0.811. From the CFA analysis, only 6 of 8 TPM pillars are significant while for manufacturing performance only OEE variable is significant. Correlation between 8 Pillars of TPM and manufacturing performance is Strong enough with a value of R = 0.862, which also means 74.3% (R2) variable manufacturing performance can be explained/influenced by variable 8 Pillar TPM and 26.7% the rest by other variables.

Abstract

It is obvious to harness the intermittent renewable energy resources, energy storage applications, such as a lithium-ion battery, are very important. α‒type MnO2 is considered as an attractive cathode material for lithium-ion battery due to its relatively large (2 × 2) tunnel structure, remarkable discharge capacity, low cost, and environmental benignity. However, low intrinsic electronic conductivity of α‒type MnO2 limits its full utilization as a cathode for a lithium-ion battery. Therefore, studies to enhance the α‒type MnO2 properties are undoubted of great interest. While previous computational studies have been focused on pristine α‒type MnO2, in the present report, we present the theoretical research on potassium-intercalated α‒type MnO2 using first principle Density Functional Theory calculations for the first time. Our results showed that potassium-intercalated α‒type MnO2 improved the electronic conductivity which beneficial for energy storage application. The structural transformation of potassium-intercalated α‒type MnO2 upon lithium insertion are also discussed. Our results may open the avenue for further utilization of potassium-intercalated α‒type MnO2 materials for not only the lithium-ion battery but also other type energy storage systems.

Abstract

Wirausaha berperan penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi dan mengurangi angka pengangguran.  Penerapan metode lean di perusahaan termasuk wirausaha mampu meningkatkan efisiensi melalui waste elimination. Namun terdapat kendala dalam proses perubahan dari non lean company menuju lean company yaitu sikap resistance to change  di sebagian besar karyawan yang merasa puas dengan kondisi yang ada dan keengganan untuk mencoba cara-cara yang baru (continuous improvement). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini antara lain adalah meningkatkan pemahaman pihak manajemen wirausaha terhadap identifikasi  enablers dan barriers penerapan lean agar bisa memimpin untuk menghilangkan barriers dan mendorong enablers, serta meningkatkan pemahaman karyawan tentang pentingnya penerapan lean strategy, mengurangi resistance for change dari sebagian karyawan,  serta memotivasi peserta dalam menerapkannya. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan cara penyampaian materi (ceramah) dengan mengutamakan interaksi antara pemateri dan peserta. Hasil dari ceramah dan diskusi peserta menyadari bahwa masih banyak terjadi waste dari finished goods yang berlebihan (waste of inventory) yang belum bisa tertangani dengan baik, sehingga muncul antusias untuk menerapkan lean strategy. Hal ini dibuktikan bahwa ada ada peningkatan yang signifikan secara statistik terhadap pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya penerapan lean strategy sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an innovative propeller turbine design to facilitate easy manufacturing and maintenance processes, leading to a reduction in costs. Furthermore, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was employed to identify the most optimal model and design for the propeller turbine. Problem-solving within the AHP framework was guided by three fundamental principles, namely decomposition, Comparative Judgment, and Logical Consistency. The procedure included problem decomposition, assessment/ weighting to compare elements, matrix preparation and consistency testing, setting priorities for each hierarchy, priority synthesis, and decision-making. To establish a benchmark, three types of propeller turbines currently available in the market served as references. Meanwhile, the selection criteria for the model were based on several factors, including power factor, time efficiency, ease of manufacture, as well as production and maintenance costs. Considering the criteria, modifications were made to these reference models, resulting in the development of alternatives, denoted as A, B, and C. The results showed that alternative type A as the most suitable choice for further development. Therefore, this particular design was granted foremost priority to develop a low-head generator that possessed ease of manufacturing and surpassed alternative models in terms of feasibility.

DOI: 10.25077/josi.v22.n1.p52-60.2023 A ventilator machine is a medical device that plays an important role in handling Covid-19 cases during a pandemic. Covid 19 patients are arriving at a referral hospital in Jakarta, meaning that the hospital must prepare its medical equipment, including a ventilator machine. The ventilator machine experienced problems because the efficiency of the machine decreased so many patients waited in the ICU room. Machine effectiveness has an average value of 62.26% so it has an impact on disrupting patient services at home. The purpose of this research is to look for factors that cause the lack of effective value of ventilator machines and find effective solutions to increase the effectiveness of ventilator machines so that they can serve Covid-19 patients during a pandemic. This research method combines Focus Group Discussion in determining 5W+1H and implementing the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance to improve the Overall Effectiveness of Equipment on Ventilator machines. This study found a breakdown factor of 54.10%, idle and minor loss of 41.20%, and others of 4.70%. The effect of overall improvement has been able to increase the average effectiveness value by 85.00% from Sep 2021-Feb 2022, so this is supported by the hospital's program in terms of increasing the effectiveness of machines in patient care.

Abstract

According to Permendiknas No. 19 of 2005, cultural arts and skills education is given in schools because it is unique, meaningful, and beneficial to the development needs of pupils, and lies in the provision of experience through expressive, creative, and appreciative activities. This statement suggests that learning cultural arts and skills not only focuses on mastering the teaching material but also on enhancing students' creativity by improving their craftsmanship skills. Strategies are needed to encourage students to be creative while learning cultural skills and arts because of the importance of creativity. Approaches, methods, and learning models are crucial in the art learning process at school. By using the right target approach, learning will become more meaningful as it brings us closer to the goal. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance students' ability to create creative products as well as help them find business opportunities. The students of SMK 10 November Jakarta are the target audience of this community service program. This method of community service is training. The lecturers and students of the study program of Industrial Engineering of Mercu Buana University who have experience in hand craft making with resin materials act as instructors and sources in this activity.
