Abstract

The application of lesson study is to improve the quality of student interaction in group discussions in English classes, it is carried out with the aim of improving the quality of communication and collaboration between students in solving problems or instructions given by the teacher. Furthermore, by having good communication and collaboration, it shows that the quality of interaction between students in discussions is also good. The Lesson Study was carried out in three stages, namely (1) Planning (Plan), (2) Implementation (Do) and (3) Reflection (See) with the object of observation of 8F grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah 01 Purbalingga with the total number of 36 students. The process of implementing lesson study is carried out in 2 cycles. The results of observation showed that in the learning process there was an improvement in the quality of student interaction in working in groups. This is indicated by the involvement of 3 groups of 6 groups that can complete the tasks given by the teacher with good communication and cooperation. Furthermore, in the second cycle the improvement in the quality of student interaction in discussion is getting better, this is indicated by the existence of 7 groups of 9 groups that can complete the task given by the teacher with good communication and collaboration between group members. As a percentage seen an improvement in the quality of student interaction in discussions by 27.7% of the percentage in the first cycle which only showed 50% and in the second cycle increased to 77.7%.Keywords: communication, collaboration, lesson study

Abstract

Corruption is our national problem that we have to overcome this attitude start from little things in our clayly activity, project citizen model in every school could have our society especially for our senior high school to understand the habit of corruption with civic education in school.This research conducted with quantitative research by quasi experiment method. Analysis of this research consist of : 1) Seen that Project citizen in Civic education promoted Significant face with anti corruption values, 2) thus there are significant differences between students anti corruption values that use the project citizen model and without treatment. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe learning of environmental history developed in Ketapang District can be utilizedas an education for natural disaster risk reduction. This study aims to determine andexplore the history of the environment and the potential contained in oral history to bemade as a disaster risk reduction education in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan.This study uses qualitative research methods with a form of embedded case studystrategies. Data sources used are informants, places and events, and documents. Datacollection techniques using direct observation techniques, in-depth interviews, anddocument studies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data validityuses triangulation and data analysis techniques use interactive analysis techniques. ThePotential of Environmental History as Disaster Risk Reduction Education (PPRB) inKetapang Regency, West Kalimantan is very large. Utilization of history known to thecommunity from its environment will form its own memory. Disaster Risk ReductionEducation (PPRB) is oriented to the development of a community and is active, creative,innovative, effective. Through learning the history of the environment will form thecharacter of people who have environmental concerns so that the risk of naturaldisasters due to environmental damage can be overcome and minimized.Keywords: Environmental history, Disaster Risk Reduction

Abstract

Moral crisis that hit the Indonesian nation in recent years, not only experienced by the non-educated, even now many intellectuals struck. One reason is the education process has not integrate the knowledge and values. So far, the role of knowledge including mathematics no more left brain only serve that only requires logical thinking skills that equip students only smart but do not equip students are smart. This is because mathematics is the cornerstone of scientific thinking which is separated from the value, but it affects the attitudes and behavior of people in decisions and actions. If early planting religiosity values elaborated with knowledge of Mathematics, it will give birth to light pious people who can bring change to glory. The purpose of this study was decrypt the prototype model of a religious character education based on knowledge of school mathematics. This study uses a model of the 4D development Thiagarajan consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate. The subject of the study was mathematics schools and Instructional Materials Development (PBA), which developed into a religious character-based educational materials school math knowledge. While the test subjects are mathematics education students who have taken the PBA in the year 2013/2014. Expected results of research are educational teaching materials produced prototypes built religious character of the school of mathematical knowledge. Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) The teacher can apply STAD cooperative learning strategies to improve the quality of learning Indonesian. (2) Through a cooperative learning model STAD, able to increase the value of National Examination in subjects Indonesian. To measure the achievement of these objectives is done by setting the achievement indicators of learning that is at least 80% of students scored above the value of completeness. (3) School strives to develop innovative learning programs, improving the quality of school more conducive and filled with the power of innovation and creativity. Class Action Research was conducted in two cycles, with research subjects learners class XII AK 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banyumas totaling 31 students consisting of one male and 30 female. From the data analysis can be concluded: (1) The teacher can apply the strategy of "STAD" so as to improve the quality of learning Indonesian. (2) Through the "STAD, able to increase the value of National Examination in subjects Indonesian. Indicators of goal achievement can be seen from the target set at the value of completeness (3) class action research is expected to develop innovative learning programs, improving the quality of school more conducive and filled with the power of innovation and creativity. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe main problem in this study is that students often experience difficulties inwriting thesis, thus affecting the accuracy in completing the study. Among theobstacles is that students do not understand the problems to be studied, and arenot accustomed to writing scientific papers, this is seen in the tendency ofstudents who will write a thesis to look for research titles, not looking forproblems to be studied. This study aims to: First, find out the relationshipbetween the achievements of learning basics of research with the quality of thesis.Second, knowing the relationship between the achievement of statistical learningand the quality of the thesis. Third, knowing the relationship between learningachievement of research basics and achievement of statistical learning with thequality of thesis. The research method is a survey with a correlational form, witha population of STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor students in semester VIII (eight)of 2016/2017 academic year totaling 126 people, with a sample of 40 people. Theconclusion of this study are: First, there is a positive influence between thevariables of learning achievement of research basics (X1) with the quality ofthesis (Y). Second, there is a positive influence between the variables of theachievement of statistical learning (X2) with the quality of the thesis (Y). Third,there is a positive relationship between the variables of learning achievement ofresearch basics (X1) and achievement of statistical learning (X2) with the qualityof thesis (Y).Keywords: learning achievement, research basics, statistics, and thesis quality.

Abstract

This classroom action reasearch was aimed at improving student’s achievement and participation in following the topic of algebraic operation. There were two cycles each which consisted of four stages (palnning, acting, observation, and reflection). The result showed that cooperative learning gradually improved achievement from 70.87 at pre-cycle stage and 78.12 cycle I which then became 86.67 in cycle II. Besides that, student’s participation also improved from 12 students (33.33 %) at pre-cycle stage to 25 969.40 %in cycle I and 33 (83.33 %) in cycle II. Abstract

Group field tour methode by Brain Symphoni Technique Investigate how the advantages of implementation. To get the goal the reseacher used Quasi experiment by giving pre test and post test to two different classes as experiment and control class. In experiment class is given the reatment but control class is not. Based on that fact, the problems as follow (1) Is there any difference between creative student used group field tour methode by Brain Symphony technique and not? (2) Is the usage group field tour methode significant by Brain Symphoni thechnique in Creative Literature Writing. The technique is using Quasi experiment methode. Student used this methode is increasing the competence in short story. It showed by pre test and post test comparasion. In post test the score is significant comparated to control class. The control class is increasing too but it is not as big as experiment class. Key word: group field tour, literature learning.

Abstract

Media is a tool that is used to convey informatiabson from the sender of the message to the recipient of the message. Learning media is defined as a tool used by teachers to convey learning material to students, and a means of communication between students and students. There are problems such as the use of learning media at MI Muhammadiyah Kedungwuluh Lor is not optimal. This activity seeks to provide assistance in creating and using learning media, especially in exact subjects so that student learning outcomes are getting better.

Abstract

Being parents who can take care their children are actually can be done by anyone as long as they are patient and willing to study. The wise parents will give significant effect toward the kids’ growth and development. In the future, they will be “someone” that is affected by their parenting. Normally, there are no parents who wish their children to have miserable and unhappy future. Unfortunately, the parents are not rarely found to make mistakes and it affects badly to them. It happened because of the parents’ lack of knowledge and understanding. Parenting plays a significant role for early childhood, when the parents educate their children very well, the parents educate them from the family environment, and parenting emphasizes the big role of family to them and gave the lesson to know themselves, as well as to know the family environment to form the kids’ character firstly. Parenting also helps children to find out their position based on their sex in the environment of family, society, and country. Parenting helps children to know the values or rules to make them follow the rules so that they can be accepted by the surrounding. Parenting also encourages children in search of worldly or hereafter science which is beneficial for their life. Parents also need to be on the watch for their intercommunication with mates or surrounding because there must be either positive or negative impact in it. Parents also need to give sincerely love to their children so that they never feel alone and lonely. Parenting should be given accordingly with the children’s ability to make them not in a force feeling with the parenting. Therefore, parenting has a significant role in educating early childhood.
