Abstract

Teaching Arabic in Indonesia continues to develop over time. This development can be through the establishment of institutes, schools, universities, and institutions specialized in teaching Arabic. Therefore, to run and develop learning the Arabic language requires proper management. The objectives of this research are to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Management of Arabic Education at the Abdul Rahman Bin Auf Institute, Muhammadiyah Malang University. The methodology of this research is the qualitative approach in the case study method—data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Research topics were chosen using targeted sampling. The results of this research are that the process Management of Arabic Language Teaching at the Abdul Rahman Bin Auf Institute, Muhammadiyah Malang University has been fulfilled dan goes well, which consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. From the planning, the researcher obtains: the educational curriculum, writing the teaching plan, teaching materials and student registration, and from the implementation: the teaching plan, the teaching method and the teaching aids, and from the evaluation side: the evaluation process, the test, the success criteria, and the evaluation at the end of the month.

Abstract

Grammar is important in student's behavior when learning the language. Education must be nice and right. Education in the institutes continues in traditional methods, the method used to read and translate, as well as the educational book does not have the objectives of education, teaching methods and testing. The researcher should therefore design the textbook in grammar mainly to the agro-complementary book. So researcher develope book in light of the structural theory to make students active in learning. This research aims to: (1) the development of the agro-complementary book in the light of structural theory, (2) knowledge of the effectiveness of the developed book. After the researcher researched, the results of the research appeared: (1) the developed book was designed and called the researcher by the rules and applied."" The book was printed to teach grammar in the classroom. (2) The result of both experts, students and a grammar teacher indicates that this developed book is decent and valid for its use in education, as well as the test result between the group and the experience has a difference

Abstract

As a modern Islamic educational institution, Madrasa (Islamic boarding school) has shifted into a public school that has Islamic identity and the issue of restructuring its curriculum is assumed as a deteriorating factor in religious aspects for its graduates. Related to this, Madrasa have responded by carrying out a curriculum program development through the integration of Madrasa curriculum program and Ma’had education (Islamic dormitory). This article aims to describe the background of the integration of Madrasa curriculum program and the education in Ma’had as well as the activities and literacy that determine the success of the curriculum program integration. The data obtained from the observation, interview, and documentation were then analyzed through reduction, display, and verification phases. Afterward, the data triangulation was also conducted. It led to several findings. First, the integrated curriculum program was carried out based on the vision and mission of both Madrasa and Ma’had, and the advance of religious study and science. Second, taklim madrasy and taklim Ma’hady (learning activity conducted in Madrasa and Ma’had) have become the determining factors for the successful implementation of the integrated curriculum program. Moreover, all guests ranging from the officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, visitors from other cities and overseas, the Madrasa committee, and all tutors in the Madrasa have also affected the information literacy, digital, and collaboration levels. This sudy provides suggestions to conduct the integration of the school, Madrasa curriculum program and Ma’had program in one location to develop the students’ religious behavior, tolerance, empathy, spirituality knowledge, and literacy skill.

Abstract

The spirit of Islamic education will not be understood without understanding its position in the context of the concept of Islamism itself. The issue of education is the decisive factor for the development of the nation. It is a top priority to implement it because, until now, Muslims have been very late in the field of education. Therefore, some of the parents, teachers, and members of the Indonesian community, many of them complain and warn that the content of religious education has not received sufficient attention from the government. The type of this research is descriptive research with a desk study approach. Based on the topic, explanation, and analysis, as mentioned in the conclusion of this research, the researcher provides a summary, which is on the following pillars: The concept of Islamic education is the formation and formation of an integrated Muslim human being in all its various aspects. The goals of Islamic education are to build a complete human being by developing the intellectual, spiritual, physical, avoid, cognitive, and behavioral issues. Education reaches the goal successfully, provided that the teacher and learner take into account descriptions, etiquette, and effort. HRD Indonesia, especially for the Muslim Ummah, is the correct answer. Islamic education is one of the possible development paths and is necessary because it is understood that education is an essential component in the development of human resources.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the level of compatibility of Arabic language textbooks at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with the general purpose of learning Arabic. This research is a descriptive  and non-interactive study. The research method used is the content analysis, because in this study the contents of the textbooks in Arabic was analyzed The results of the study show that in general the books evaluated have been good and decent enough to be used as book dars, except that there needs to be an adjustment in terms of material content. In terms of the completeness, breadth and depth of the material, it appears that the book al-arabiyyah bi annamadziz, al-arabiyyah li tullabil jamiah, and the Arabic language of the Quran, make Arabic material complete, detailed, and profound which is gradually adjusted to the level of marhalah. In terms of material accuracy, these books contain grammatical and accurate terms In terms of the latest material, the book a al-arabiyyah bi annamadziz is considered not up-to-date.

Abstract

Integrative mathematics learning is needed in the study of science and religion, especially in the madrassa and the Islamic University, to improve morality for all students in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the hadith regarding integers and integer operations in integrative mathematics learning. Mathematical learning is expected to increase students' religious knowledge and mathematical knowledge. The method used in this research is literature study. In the hadith, some integers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and integer operations, namely addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The hadiths related to numbers and number operations are HR. Bukhari 40; 71; 15; 33; 1334; 1761; 1109, HR. Muslim 19; 1984; 1513; 1991, HR. Darmini 3174, HR. Ibnu Khuzaimah 301, and HR. Tirmidhi 565.

Abstract

Arabic language actually contains sexism. Therefore, learning Arabic with a gender neutral perspective is absolutely necessary so that the alignments towards the Adam and the marginalization of the Eve can be straightened out. Research learning Arabic language with gender neutral insight at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang is a library research. In addition, this also includes the type of qualitative research. The documentary method was chosen for data collection techniques. The contribution of learning gender-oriented Arabic language at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was explored through interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with data validity methods in the form of participation, perseverance of observation, triangulation and adequacy of references. Gender-based Arabic learning in the Special Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) and Arabic education department includes: Learning planning process, Teaching and learning interactions, Class management and the use of gender responsive language and Arabic learning with gender-neutral insight in the Special Program for Arabic Language Development (PPBA) and the Arabic Education majors as a whole have a positive impact.

Abstract

This study aims to describe intrinsic motivation and factors that influence student motivation in learning Arabic. This research is a case study developed using qualitative descriptive research methods. The sample in this study is students at the Faculty of Economics in Learning Arabic, Special Program for Arabic Language Development, Universitas Negeri of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The result shows that the intrinsic motivation of students to learn Arabic well is because Arabic is the language of the Moslems, Al-Qur’an language. Another motivation is the need to understand Islam and the hope of getting good grades and proficiency in Arabic. The results also show that the extrinsic motivation of students who liked learning Arabic was due to the excellent and pleasant environment in learning. Also, another extrinsic motivation is due to the fun activities in learning Arabic and the appreciation from lecturers or the Special Programs for Arabic Language Development. Diverse and fun teaching methods and the existence of learning activities outside the classroom and the reality of advice given by the instructor to students are also the factors that motivate students to learn Arabic
