Abstract

This study aims to understand the differences between the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum, to compare the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum at the junior high school level, and to analyze some of the difficulties experienced in implementing the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Bringin. This research uses qualitative research methods with observation and interview data collection techniques. The subject of this research is the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Mrs. Tri Retnaningtyas, S.Pd. The results of the research show that the 2013 curriculum has a fairly good concept in every educational process. however, the application of the independent curriculum in some driving schools is carried out in the first year with a fairly good implementation. which has been developed in various schools this year. some schools are still carrying out a design agenda related to formulas that are in accordance with the implementation of the independent curriculum concept. poisonous in the description that has been mentioned, the application of the Easter independent curriculum is carried out in an analysis that is better and quite in accordance with the existing educational culture in Indonesia compared to the 2013 curriculum. Therefore, there are some things that must be taken into consideration by a policymaker as well as an implementer in the world of education, where the Merdeka curriculum can be applied in a targeted manner or improve some of the previously implemented curricula. not just a program whose implementation is carried out by force in all education or junior high schools in Indonesia, especially those in Ngawi Regency.

Abstract

Education is an important part of the national development process which also determines the economic growth of a country. The teacher is one component that occupies a central and very strategic position in the education system. Therefore, to achieve good quality education, teacher performance is very necessary. Teacher performance is a determinant of the high and low quality of education. To improve the performance of a teacher, of course, something is needed, something that is often referred to as motivation. Motivation is closely related to ways of directing the power and potential of subordinates so that they can work productively and achieve predetermined goals. In addition, the factor that can affect teacher performance is the leadership style of the school principal. The leadership role of the principal determines the success of an educational institution. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of junior high school teachers in Sentajo Raya District. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive and verification approaches. The teachers who were respondents in this study were 84 teachers in seven junior high schools in Sentajo Raya District. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to junior high school teachers in Sentajo Raya District. Data collection was carried out offline, namely by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents because researchers could meet directly with respondents so that they could convince respondents about the seriousness of this research. Data analysis in this study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach with smart PLS 3.0 software. The results showed that leadership style and work motivation had a significant effect on teacher performance at junior high schools in Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

Abstract

Islamic-based educational institutions must be able to produce graduates and academics community who have good and commendable morals. the use of strategic management theory is seen as capable of realizing this. UMY uses this theory as an effort to shape the morals of its graduates and all of its academic community so that they become better and uphold Islamic values. This research article aims to reveal the implementation of strategic management used by UMY in shaping the character of the academic community in accordance with Islamic teachings as stated in the PHIWK. This type of research is qualitative with an analytical descriptive approach. The methods used in this research article are data collection, interviews, documentation and participant observation. To analyze used methods: data presentation, data reduction, and description of phenomena. The findings in this research article are: first, the implementation of PHIWK in the academic community has not gone according to the strategic management flow, this is because there are still several activities that have not been carried out. Second, the program evaluation has not been carried out, due to the absence of an Ad Hoc Team who is fully responsible for the process of implementing the PHIWK program, as in the flow in strategic management.

Abstract

Humans are social beings who need interaction and communication between them. Social media is the most effective tool, but, unfortunately, there are still many social media that are identified as sites for spreading fake news. The world of education is also not spared from the spread of fake news filled with hostility. The same thing happened at the time of the Prophet Muhammad, which was enshrined in the Qur'an as a defense against the accusation of adultery against Aisha. This research article aims to find out the conflict management that was applied by the Prophet Muhammad when facing slander in the hadithul ifki story as stated in the interpretation of Ath Tabari and the Qur'an and its Tafsir. This type of research uses qualitative research with library research data sources. The method used in this research article is by examining and studying various related literature. The researcher used descriptive and content analysis to analyze the data. The research findings are in the form of conflict management applied by the Prophet Muhammad in the story of hadithul ifki or fake news to Aisyah. The steps for conflict management carried out by the Prophet Muhammad were: first, collecting as much information as possible from the community that triggers the emergence of conflict and a neutral society. Second, to confirm some of the scattered information. Third, affirm the person who is the source of the conflict.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of religion and the development of children's character in the localization of Dolly Alley. Then to find out the learning process that is suitable for children in the location and find out how parents model good character and religious education in the location. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The main techniques for collecting data are observation and in-depth interviews. The respondent of this research is the Religious Teacher at SDN Putat Jaya 1. The closure of the area had an impact on the local community who lost their jobs. Including children who are affected, for example, children dropping out of school because their parents do not have jobs, even though the local government helps with MSME businesses but does not last long. This phenomenon results in children dropping out of school and low motivation to learn and eventually becoming undirected. These children have deviant behavior and bad character. Therefore, the author raised this title, able to provide solutions to the problems of character education and religious education for children in Gang Dolly by reducing school dropout rates and increasing learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to be able to provide knowledge for the problem of the Development of Islamic Religious Teachers. The development of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in the Era of Society 5.0 "This research aims to find out the development of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the era of society 5.0 Then to find out what application processes will be carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the 5.0 era. In this research, researchers used qualitative research methods. This research is qualitative because it is conducted to understand the meaning behind a phenomenon that occurs by describing it in the form of words. The main technique in collecting data is a literature study, researchers will search for data in accordance with the discussion regarding the development of Islamic religious education teachers in the era of Society 5.0. The era of society 5.0 is a revolution from the industrial era 4.0 that we have faced today. In the era of society, 5.0 has a different concept from the industrial era 4.0. If the industrial era 4.0 makes AI and artificial intelligence its main components, while society 5.0 uses AI and modern technology, it just makes humans the main component. And if the era of Society 5.0 is applied in the world of education, then teaching staff or teachers here are the main components. Therefore, professional and qualified teachers are needed in order to produce a quality education world in line with the era of Society 5.0. The development of PAI teachers in facing the era of society 5.0 must also be more significant because the result or measure of the success of PAI teachers is the formation of "Insān Kāmil" (Plenary Human).

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an is Kalamullah, which requires careful attention to the rules of Tajwid science when reading it to avoid misunderstandings. Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta is one of the Islamic tertiary institutions that requires every student to have a certificate for the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing program as a graduation requirement. The purpose of this research article is to reveal the history and role of My Qiraah application as a support for students' Al-Qur'an learning activities at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive analytics with a qualitative approach. This method serves to describe an object under study. It begins with observing the Al-Qur'an Reading Guidance activities, followed by collecting data through interviews with primary sources and analyzing the data obtained by strengthening secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that My Qiraah is an application for learning the Qur'an, which was adopted from the 10-hour Al-Qur'an learning method by Muhammad Chirzin. My Qiraah application was implemented in the 2021-2022 school year, and improvements are still being made to continue supporting Al-Qur'an learning activities for students at UMY. The presence of My Qiraah application dramatically helps in the learning process of Al-Qur'an Reading Guidance for the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta students. This is evidenced by a 3.3% increase in student BTA graduation in the 2022/2023 school year.

Abstract

Differentiated learning activities prioritize the willingness and comfort of students. With the implementation of differentiated learning through the independent curriculum, it is hoped that the education system will be able to produce students who think critically, creatively, and innovatively so that they can work in teams and compete in the 4.0 era towards the 5.0 revolution. Differentiated Learning Activities to adjust students' learning interests in the learning process. Learners are free to choose and express ideas and information that match their interests in the learning process. This diversity of learning interests is one of the important elements that educators need to observe so that the needs of individual learners will be met and produce high learning outcome goals through this differentiated learning activity. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. This method not only illustrates events that have occurred but also analyzes the meaning of the phenomena that occur so that it rests on a complete understanding. The types of data analysis used are Data reduction, Data display, and Conclusion/verification. Triangulation of participants, member checking, and extended observation were carried out to check the validity of the data. After the application of differentiated learning activities, it is known what are the challenges and obstacles to differentiated learning activities at SMAN 7 Binjai.

Abstract

Need analysis is the first step in building a course or creating learning materials. It collects information from the research participants regarding their educational needs. This study investigated the students' need for Translation and Islamic contents in Translation class. The method of research was descriptive and quantitative The study participants were 105 sixth-semester students from four classes at the English Education Study Program of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, who had passed the Translation Subject. A survey technique was used to collect the data. The researcher also interviewed eight students to uncover why they tended to choose some more needed content than the other contents in terms of translation and Islamic contents. The quantitative data obtained through questionnaires was analyzed using the Likert scale. Then, the result was put in the form of a percentage, which was arranged from very needed to not needed at all. The findings showed that first, for translation contents, in terms of the topics of texts to be translated in Translation Subject that are highly needed, are the ones in the field of language skills (55.2%); second, in terms of the language texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones written in English (41.9%); third, in terms of the level of texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones with high level (41.9%); and fourth, in terms of the genre of texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones with the genre of job application letter (42.9%); While, for Islamic contents, first, in terms of aqidah contents of texts to be translated in Translation Subject that are highly needed, are the ones consisting of rukun Islam (32.4%); second, in terms of akhlak contents of texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones comprised of the influence of socialization in life (35.2%); third, in terms of Al-Qur’an contents of texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones consisting of the privileges of the Qur’an (49.5%); and fourth, in terms of fiqih and muammalah contents of texts to be translated that are highly needed, are the ones consisting of rukun of prayer (27.6%).

Abstract

The development of the world of work that is in great demand is the world of business/trade in percentage terms based on the main job business fields in 2021-2022, the highest percentage is in trade, business. In the development of business activities from the past until now, it is important to know that Islamic business ethics in the perspective of the Qur'an encourages entrepreneurs and business people to operate with integrity, honesty, and social responsibility while prioritizing blessings and mutual benefit based on the verses of the Qur'an. This observation or research aims to analyze, explain, and describe the implementation of Islamic business ethics from the Qur'anic perspective can provide a strong moral foundation for the inclusion of students in running their business. This helps them become responsible and ethical business leaders in society. This observation or research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. This observation or research aims to analyze, explain, and describe the implementation of Islamic business ethics from the perspective of the Qur'an can provide a strong moral foundation for the inclusion of students in running their business. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. The research technique is carried out in the form of data collection through observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results of the study can be described as follows based on the presentation of theoretical studies, research results, and analysis, which previously had been held observations made by the author at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta. By understanding and applying Qur'anic principles in their business, inclusion students can contribute positively to the business world while living a life that is in accordance with their religious teachings.
