Abstract

The digital transformation in education requires an adaptive and innovative pedagogical architecture to effectively manage teaching methods. Traditional learning systems often fail to adjust instructional strategies to individual learners’ needs. Therefore, this study developed the Adaptive Innovative Pedagogical Architecture (AIPA–SIM), a multi-agent simulation model designed to analyze the dynamics of adaptive teaching method management. This study employed a simulation-based experimental design with three learning system scenarios: non-adaptive, semi-adaptive, and fully adaptive. The model was developed using NetLogo 6.3.0 and Python Mesa Framework, incorporating teacher, student, and system agents. Key parameters included Learning Performance, Adaptivity Rate, Engagement Index, and System Efficiency. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey HSD tests to compare system performance. Simulation results revealed that the fully adaptive system (AIPA–SIM) significantly improved learning performance (+29.5%) compared to the non-adaptive system (p < 0.01). The Engagement Index reached 0.92 and System Efficiency achieved 93.7, indicating high responsiveness to students’ behavioral changes. A strong positive correlation (r = 0.88) was observed between adaptivity level and learning performance. The AIPA–SIM model proved effective as an adaptive pedagogical architecture capable of enhancing learning outcomes through automated, agent-based decision-making mechanisms. This research provides both conceptual and practical contributions to the development of smart adaptive learning systems and data-driven educational policies in the digital era.

Abstract

The Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is one of the school's strategic efforts to improve the ability to memorize the Qur'an while instilling religious values in students. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tahfidz program and its impact on improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an of students at Al Islam Kartasura Junior High School, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, while the validity of the data is obtained through triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the Tahfidz program is carried out in a structured manner through the deposit and muroja'ah methods with a target of memorization of at least three lines per meeting and one juz every year. This program has been proven to be able to improve students' Qur'an memorization skills, although they are still faced with the constraints of differences in basic Qur'an reading skills and lack of parental support. Efforts made by the school to overcome these obstacles include intensive mentoring by Tahfidz teachers, the application of methods adapted to the student's conditions, and cooperation with parents to support the success of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) as a new policy of the Ministry of Education in 2025 which is applied to grade XII students, focusing on its implementation in SMAN 1 Palangka Raya and SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. TKA is designed to measure students' critical, logical, and analytical thinking skills, as well as being an instrument for mapping the quality of education and the basis for decision-making for students, schools, and the government. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the PRISMA 2020 protocol, and is strengthened with a literature review to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concepts, objectives, benefits, and challenges of TKA. Field findings show that the implementation of TKA in both schools runs in an orderly manner, but presents diverse experiences for students. Subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and English (reading section) are the most difficult, while Indonesian and basic English are considered more relevant to the learning material. Processing time is the main obstacle, especially for questions that require in-depth analysis. In addition, some students feel that some questions do not fully fit the grid, and their preparation is hampered by the school's heavy academic load. Overall, TKA has an important role in mapping students' academic abilities, but improvements are needed in terms of exam duration, student readiness, and instrument suitability so that this policy can run more effectively and support the improvement of the quality of education at the high school level.

Abstract

Among the problems faced by Qur'an memorizers is the ability to memorize quickly, but memorization is often weak or difficult to maintain due to the lack of precise methods that are adapted to the character of the students. This study aims to analyze and describe the process of implementing the independent and group muroja'ah method to improve the memorization of the Qur'an at the Tahfidz House of Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah Medan. The descriptive qualitative method is used through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, with interactive data analysis through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results showed that independent muroja'ah fostered independence, discipline, and self-correction skills, effective for long-term memorization retention, while group muroja'ah increased social motivation, tajweed accuracy, and letter makhraj through direct tasmi'. The muroja'ah group excelled in the quality of reading, while the independent muroja'ah was better in the quantity and consistency of the daily. This study concludes that the optimal improvement in memorization is obtained through the integration of the two methods according to the character and phase of student development.

Abstract

Education plays a fundamental role in shaping human personality, especially character development through a planned and continuous process. This study aims to analyze the role of character education and parenting in shaping the personality of students in a pesantren environment. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation for 3 months, in-depth interviews with 15 santri, 5 caregivers, and 3 kyai, as well as analysis of curriculum documents and daily records. The findings show that consistent parenting patterns through the example set by the clerics (80% of students imitate positive behavior), the habit of worship such as daily tahajud and weekly muhadharah, and hirz discipline (strict supervision) contribute significantly to student character. Specifically, religious attitudes increased from 65% to 92% (behavioral observation), morals were nurtured with a 40% decrease in violations in 6 months, and social behavior improved through tahfidz group collaboration (75% active participation). These results confirm the integration of character education with systematic parenting as the key to optimizing students' personalities. The study's conclusion recommends replicating this model in other Islamic boarding schools to strengthen Islamic-based character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical role of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in instilling friendly character through greeting activities at SMP Negeri 10 Palembang, amid increasing bullying, declining empathy, and weakening face-to-face interactions among students in the digital era. Using a qualitative method with a sociological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation of the “Morning Greeting” activity and greeting practices in the classroom, as well as visual documentation and school documents. Informants were determined through purposive and snowball sampling until data saturation was reached, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation verification of sources, methods, and time. The results of the study show that greeting activities function as social rituals that build positive interactions and strengthen emotional closeness among students. PAI teachers play a role through exemplifying the correct greeting, integrating the value of greeting into learning, habituating greetings before and after lessons, and reinforcing behavior through rewards. Consistent practice of greeting fosters empathy, social awareness, inclusive attitudes, and students' ability to cooperate and show solidarity. Additionally, greeting activities effectively reduce dependence on gadgets and restore the quality of face-to-face interactions, making them an important strategy for overcoming adolescent individualism in the digital age. This study confirms that greetings are a simple yet significant pedagogical intervention in shaping friendly character and creating a harmonious and inclusive school culture.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) affects students' morals, attitudes, and understanding. The pedagogic ability of teachers to supervise the learning process has an impact on the effectiveness of PAI teaching. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in managing learning and its impact on students' religious understanding and development. This research uses phenomenological, qualitative, and field research methodologies. Teachers of Islamic Cultural History (SKI), Al-Qur'an Hadith, Fiqih, and Aqidah Akhlak acted as supporting informants. Observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation are the methods used to collect data. Technical triangulation is used to assess the validity of the data, while data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at MA Al-Islam Jamsaren Surakarta have successfully applied their pedagogic skills. This is evidenced by the ability of teachers to prepare lessons, choose various contextual strategies and techniques, use dialogical learning, and conduct continuous evaluation and learning exercises. Students' understanding in the cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor realms is positively influenced by the teacher's pedagogic competence. The pedagogic competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is supported by a number of elements, including educational background, teaching experience, support from school policies, and the availability of learning infrastructure and facilities. On the other hand, limited time for learning activities and variations in students' motivation and learning capacity are limiting factors.

Abstract

This study explores the role of transformational leadership in enhancing educational quality. As ongoing educational reforms call for improved learning outcomes, school leadership becomes a critical driver of meaningful change. The research examines how the four dimensions of transformational leadership idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration contribute to teacher motivation, commitment, and professional growth. Using a systematic literature review that integrates national and international studies, the findings indicate that transformational leadership positively shapes teacher engagement and overall school climate. Idealized influence and inspirational motivation are particularly effective in fostering a supportive environment, whereas intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration show stronger effects when reinforced by adequate organizational structures and resources. The study concludes that effective school leadership requires not only the practice of transformational behaviors but also the cultivation of an organizational culture that promotes innovation and continuous professional development, highlighting the importance of proper training and resources for school leaders.
