Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas I (satu) sampai dengan kelas VI (enam), guru olahraga, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, beberapa siswa kelas V (lima) dan siswa kelas VI (enam). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin II cenderung kepada gaya kepemimpinan yang demokratis. Hal ini terlihat dari cara kepala sekolah dalam memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan. Dalam memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan selalu dilakukan dengan rapat, diskusi dan musyawarah kepada staf dan guru-guru. Kepala sekolah selalu menerima pendapat, kritik dan saran dari bawahan dengan baik, lapang dada dan iklas serta berpartisipasi aktif dalam setiap kegiatan yang ada di sekolah. Selain itu, kepala sekolah selalu mengembangkan dan mengutamakan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan seperti kebersamaan dan kekompakan.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the management model of multicultural education in traditional and modern boarding school in maintaining harmony heterogeneity students. This type of research is a qualitative study using a naturalistic approach. Subjects in this study were caregivers, teachers, traditional and modern pesantren students at two boarding schools are boarding Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta and modern cottage Al-barakah Nganjuk East Java. namely data collection techniques interviews, observations and document research. The results of this study: first, the model of multicultural education in the form of a traditional boarding school, namely a) the use of Indonesian as the unifying language students in learning activities and daily activities; b) intermingling of students as a vehicle to learn to live in diversity, to build mutual trust, mutual understanding  and mutual respec; c) the appreciation of multicultural education in a variety of activities: the use of batik regional origin of students; activities miss the archipelago and fashion show

Abstract

The topic of this study was the managerial competence of principle of madrasahat MTs Al-Hikmah Palembang. The undelying rationale was the role of madrasah princplein an educational institution was very important, MTs Al-Hikmah which was located in adensely populated society, demanded the principle to be able to manage his institution inachieving educational goals. The scope ranging from the preparation of school plans,school organizations to supervision of the i school activities implimentation. This researchwas field research that was qualitative naturalistic. and the sources of the data wereprimary data and secondary data. the technique for collcting the data was using fieldobservations regarding the implementation of madrasah chief managerial competencies,then the documentation also dealt with managerial competence activities. While thisinterview was carried out to the Head of Madrasah, Educators, Administrative Staff, andseveral other respondents. Data analysis started from reduction, data presentation andverification. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was known that the managerialcompetence of the priciple had been going well, because the scope of the manager'smadrasah managerial competencies had been ranging from planning, organizing tosupervision of the madrasah activities implimntaion. it had been going well and wassupported by educators and education staff including the condusive madrasah climate. itwas just that the budget was still a problem in supporting the education process and that hadan impact in school facilities.

Abstract

Vision and mission are the ultimate goals that serve as guidelines for the activity of study programs and can be used as a basis for the strength of services. However, many study programs only make the vision and mission only available, but do not become meaningful guidelines for the implementation of education. This study aims to describe and analyze the leadership of students in achieving their vision and mission. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection methods used were interviews, field observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that leadership is full of openness so that the relationships that are established are very harmonious, harmonious and mutually supportive. The leadership of the study program in an effort to achieve the vision and mission of the study program is carried out by building individual expectations into a shared vision, making development priorities with indicators of achievement, building achievement motivation, increasing participation, and building partnerships with various parties.

Abstract

Public relations or public relations is needed in a company to build a positive image. But not just in a company, at a social institution such as an educational institution that is a place to to channel science to the next generation of the nation also requires the function of public relations management. Public Relations in an educational institution role to market and build a good image, so that people are able to believe in the educational institution. In addition public relations in educational institutions also play a role to foster and manage good relationships with internal public such as among employees because good relationships in the internal public is needed to build and maintain the institution itself. In addition to the internal public, public relations in educational institutions also play a role to foster and maintain good relationships with external public yati with the community. To gain the trust of the public relations community should be able to maintain such good relations. Public Relations should also be able to hear the wishes and opinions of the community

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between organizational communication and organizational culture with the work climate in MTsN (Islamic junior high school) Bone 1 South Sulawesi both partially and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with correlational research design. The instrument used to measure the variables of this study is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using product moment correlation analysis and multiple correlation with the help of SPSS version 21 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational communication and organizational culture with a work climate in MTsN (Islamic junior high school) 1 Bone Sulawesi Selatan, both partial or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of school climate on the teacher’s performance at Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. It aims to: 1) Describe the actual school climate; 2) Describe the actual teacher’s performance ; 3) examine the influence of school climate on teacher’s performance at Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. This research uses quantitative methodology with ex post facto. the samples of this research are 29 teachers of Public Junior High School 1 Ulaweng, Bone Regency. The data were collected using questionnaires and visual documentations, and then were analysed using product moment correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, as well correlation. The data analysis indicates that: 1) the actual school climate is in conducive category with score of 73% ; 2) the favourable score of the actual teacher’s performance with 70% score; 3) a positive influence of school climate on teachers’ performance, signified by 20% score with coefficient correlation value of 0,0447 and regression equation value of Y=60,734 + 0,156X.

Abstract

Work effectiveness is the degree of accuracy of the organization in achieving the objectives seen from the activities carried out. Many factors that influence work success, such as internal communication, office layout, work motivation and others. This article will discuss the influence of internal communication on improving work. The purpose of this article is to understand the presence or absence of internal communication and most internal communication is related to cooperation both simultaneously and partially. The population to collect article data is employees at universities in Palembang-Indonesia City. The total population is 90 people with the data collection method used is a questionnaire and documentation. Obtained data obtained were analyzed using descriptive contributions and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS for windows release 16. Based on the descriptive analysis obtained by the level of internal communication of 86% including the excellent category, while the level of work requirements amounted to 78.78% including the good category. Based on the calculation of multiple linear regression analysis also obtained Fcount of 17,234 with a significance of 0,000. Conclusion that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is there is internal communication motivation towards work effectiveness. The amount is 28.4% while it is partial 16% for leadership variables and 5.29% for internal communication.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the leadership role of the headmaster in building aconducive madrasah culture in the MAN Bone District. This research is a field study with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observations. The subject of this study is the headmaster, deputy chief of madrasah, teachers, administration staff, and students. Data is analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the headmaster performs its role in developing cultures in terms of values, such as initiative, togetherness, responsibility, sense of existence, commitment, cooperation, mutual understanding, spirit of unity, obedience azas, guiding and motivating, innovative, hard-working, caring, discipline and honesty, clean culture, good relationships, knowledgeable, and so on. The obstacles in the development of madrasah culture are more dominant in difficulty in applying discipline perfectly. Discipline will be difficult to manifest without awareness of each individual. Therefore, the headmaster always seeks to have discipline always enforced and forward through the consciousness of the residents of the madrasah for his responsibilities in carrying out duties in the madrasah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and examine the influence of learning management and learning motivation to learning outcomes of students in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah Borongganjeng, Bulukumba Regency. This research is classified as quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this study as many as 38 learners taken randomly from 127 students. The data collection techniques used are polls and documentation, whereas the analytical techniques used to examine hypotheses are inferential statistics through regression analysis. The results of this study show that partially, the management of learning has a positive and significant impact on student’s learning outcomes of 10.8% and 89.2% is determined by other factors, as well as the motivation to learn positive influences and of student learning outcomes of 14.2% and 85.8% is determined by other factors. However, the learning management and learning motivation jointly positively affects the student's learning outcomes of 14.9%, but not significant.
