Abstract

The relationship between parents and children will influence the communication of children with parents, if children and parents are less familiar, it will automatically have an impact with passive communication, so it will make parents difficult to control the development of the child. The study aims to determine the social attitudes of children, parental communication with children, and factors that influence the problem of parental communication on the social attitudes of children in the Jakabaring OPI Palembang Complex. Research Subjects were Parents and Children in the Jakabaring OPI Complex. The research method is qualitative with the design of research phenomena with methods of structured observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis Using descriptive includes reduction, display and verification. The results of the study are as follows: The attitudes and social behavior of children in the housing complex environment are still well controlled, only when observed from the side of the relationship with parents and their families tend to be passive and rather arrogant. Children sometimes argue and differ opinions that give rise to the attitude of avoiding the anger of parents, so some of them choose to go out of the house. The pattern of parental communication with children is not consistent with what the parents themselves want. Especially their treatment of children who tend to be authoritarian and too dictating, so children feel depressed and feel completely wrong in doing. Factors that affect the problem of parents communication with children; Psychological atmosphere of communication, parent leadership, language used in communicating with children by parents, children's living environment, and school environment where children spend almost seven hours one day at school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and examine the effect of leadership style of headmaster to teacher discipline at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. This research is a quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this study as much as 92 teachers, taken at random. The data collection techniques used is a questionnaire then analyzed by using regression analysis to examine the hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style of headmaster influential positive and significant to teacher discipline with determinants coefficient of 0,305. So, teacher discipline 30,5% influenced by the leadership style of headmaster and 869,5% determined by another factor.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of teacher professionalism is in the spotlight of today's world. This is due to the changing paradigm of education as a consequence of the development of the times and challenges of education. This paper aims to provide an overview and understanding of the importance of changing old patterns in developing a teacher's professional. Monotonous and centralistic coaching and training is no longer relevant to use for the present. One of the new methods that deserve to be practiced as a form of teacher professional development is through in-house training. A method that puts forward collaborative, contextual and constructivist approaches so that the value of its benefits is more clearly felt by teachers.

Abstract

This article discusses the teachers’ professionalism of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through the Teachers Working Group at Gantarang District of Bulukumba Regency. The approach used is qualitative which is reviewed based on the phenomenological. Informan in this article is a supervisor, head of Madrasah and teachers of Ibtidaiyah Madrasah who are involved in the activities of KKG. The data collection techniques used are observations and interviews. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. KKG Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Gantarang District has been conducted and is very helpful teachers in developing and improving their competence as well as a place to share teaching experience. Through the activities of the KKG, teachers are given learning guidance and given opportunities to share experiences, teaching techniques, and scientific references so as to make it easier for teachers to perform the learning tasks in the Madrasah.

Abstract

This article discusses the internalization of character formation in the learning process at SMP Negeri 37 Bulukumba. The approach used is qualitative which is reviewed based on a phenomenological. The informant in this article is the head of Madrasah and teacher of Islamic religious education. The data collection techniques used are observations and interviews. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. This article shows that the implementation of character education in students at SMP Negeri 37 Bulukumba is implemented by prioritizing the creation of 8 characters, namely responsible, love of homeland, social care, tolerance, discipline, Independent, democratic, and avid reading. The character education implementation is integrated with all subjects, especially the subjects of Islamic religious education conducted in the form of intrurricular and extracurricular, both in learning and beyond learning. The strategies pursued by teachers of Islamic education in the establishment of students' character at SMP Negeri 37 Bulukumba is done through the development of students and the improvement of the religious knowledge of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen kurikulum dalam pengembangan pembelajaran di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Kindang, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Penelitian ini merupakan field research dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah dan guru-guru yang mengimplementasikan manajemen kurikulum dalam pengembangan pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen kurikulum di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Kindang diterapkan dalam tiga kegiatan utama dalam pengembangan pembelajaran, yaitu dalam perencanaan pengembangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pengembangan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pengembangan pembelajaran. Hambatan penerapan manajemen kurikulum yang ditemukan adalah masih terdapatnya guru yang belum mengetahui secara jelas terkait implementasi kurikulum 2013, terutama guru-guru yang senior karena kurang mengikuti pelatihan. Oleh karena itu, guru-guru yang mengikuti pelatihan seharusnya menyampaikan juga kepada guru-guru yang tidak sempat mengikuti pelatihan ketika kembali ke sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kinerja tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dengan keberhasilan pembelajaran di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Bulukumba, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 orang tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang diambil secara keseluruhan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Bulukumba berhubungan positif dengan keberhasilan pembelajaran, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,505 yang berada pada tingkat hubungan sedang. Hal ini menandakan bahwa berhasil atau tidaknya proses pembelajaran di madrasah sangat ditentukan oleh kinerja tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang berada pada lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

This article discusses "The Charismatic leadership of K.H. Muhammad Djunaid Sulaiman in developing Islamic education in Bone regency". This type of research is used qualitatively with historical, sociological, and phenomenological approaches. The data source of this research is scholars literacy (biography of K.H. Muhammad Djunaid Sulaiman), family, students of K.H. Muhammad Djunaid Sulaiman and head master of Islamic schoul. Further, the method of data collection is historical observation, interview, and dicumentation. Then, the technique of data processing and analizing is done through three stages, they are data reduction, data presentation and conclude. The fidings slows that the charismatic leadership value of K.H. Muhammada Djunaid Sulaiaman in developing Islamic Education in Bone Regency, like that value of Ada Tongeng, Getteng, Sabbara, Siri, and Lempu. Has ingrained in himself as Pattola Palallo generation of royal and religious descent. Starting from establishing an boarding schools, presenting citation, his way to criticize the government, until motivating people, cannot be separated from his charismatic value. Ethis and aesfhetics in this movement presents polaritation of Ada na Gau (according to words and deeds) which is become as strong foundation in building collective awareness of Bone people. The efforts to develop Islamic education in Bone makes him work without expecting a penny.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kompetensi profesional guru terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Bulukumba, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 orang peserta didik yang diambil 15% secara proportional stratified random dari 251 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik inferensial melalui analisis regresi linear sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan madrasah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 18,3%, begitu pula kompetensi profesional guru juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 25,1%. Secara simultan, kualitas layanan madrasah dan kompetensi profesional guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 27,4%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa prestasi belajar peserta didik di MTs Negeri 6 Bulukumba ditentukan oleh kualitas layanan madrasah dan kompetensi profesional guru.
