Abstract

Learning strategies are essential in learning. On the other hand, learning styles are also an essential step in learning activities that have a positive relationship with learning outcomes. this study aims to uncover various student strategies in learning Arabic based on their learning styles. This research is qualitative research, with the research subjects being 20 students of UPB Group 22 in 2019. The data collection instruments in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The data processing techniques in this descriptive analysis research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study indicates that students' learning strategy with a visual learning style tendency is that they need to see things visually to make it easier to understand and understand so that they are more comfortable learning with the use of colors, lines, and shapes. Students with visual tendencies remember what they see more than what they hear and prefer reading rather than being read. The learning strategy of auditory students is to rely more on hearing to receive information and knowledge so that students in this type will find it easier to remember what they hear than what they see, prefer to read with sound, and find it difficult to do tasks involve visuals. Finally, the learning strategy of students with a kinesthetic learning style is learning by involving movement. They find it easier to learn something, not just reading, but also practicing it by doing it or touching particular objects.

Abstract

Writing is one of the language skills, but the majority of students think writing is a difficult activity so they experience errors, especially in terms of imla'. This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of writing errors  in student writing, factors affecting the writing errors, and the implications of writing errors in learning writing skills for students in al-Nasyiin al-Islami Pesantren Pamekasan Madura. This research uses qualitative research. To achieve these objectives, researcher uses the Glesser and Strauss model to analyze data called the fixed comparison model consisting of four steps, it is data reduction, data categorization, coding, and preparing working hypotheses. The results of this study are: Writing errors in the writing of the students at al-Nasyiin al-Islami Pesantren, is errors in adding letters, subtracting letters, writing letters that sound alike, changing letters or words, separating letters or words, writing hamzah on alif, connecting letters or words, writing hamzah qatha', writing hamzah on wawu; The Factors that influence writing errors in the writing of students al-Nasyiin al-Islami Pesantren come from the student side and the teacher side; The implications of this writing error are the number of errors in writing perfect sentences, changes in the meaning of vocabulary from the original meaning, some students are not able to write sentences perfectly, and the number of errors in the application of Arabic rules. Therefore, teachers must pay attention to these errors through student writing analysis so that they can find solutions to problems faced by teachers and students to improve learning writing skills.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) are growing in the world of education. Pesantren also has various programs proclaimed to develop the Arabic language, so many programs aim to improve Arabic language skills at the As-Salam Kampar Islamic boarding school. As for the program's implementation, namely communication, leadership, and supervision. This study aims to analyze and find a model for implementing language programs in Pondok Pesantren Assalam Kampar. This research used descriptive qualitative, where the instrument is the researchers as a human instrument. At the same time, the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and validity techniques using triangulation. The researchers have interviews with the principal related to the management of the implementation of the Arabic language program at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Kampar; communication, leadership, and supervision that the principal had carried out in running the Arabic language program.  The results showed; 1) the communication is input and output in the program management process, where communication is identical with social interaction; in this case, the communication process carried out by the chairman is bottom-up communication; 2) The leadership is intended to influence a group. Towards the achievement of goals, it is also implemented in the form of participatory leadership. 3) At the same time, supervision which implies looking very carefully at work as a whole, is also carried out in this Pesantren, the form of democratic supervision.

Abstract

أن المعجم يلعب دور هام للغاية، على كل المعلمين والطلبة من جميع المستويات الذين يحتجون إلى وجود واستخدام المعجم، حيث تساعدهم في فهم كلمة أو مصطلح التي يحتوي على جميع الكلمات في لغة معينة. من ثم اختار الباحث معجم المصطلحات لأن هذا المعجم  يتعامل مع المصطلحات العلمية العربية، وكانت معرفة لهذه المصطلحات من أمر صعب لدي متعلمي اللغة المبتدئين. فاختار الباحث طريقة تحليل المنهج والمحتوى لمعرفة مدى استخدام القواعد العلمية لكتابة المعجم فيه، وفي أي المجالات يمكن استخدام المعجم. مدخل هذا البحث هو المدخل الكيفي، ومنهجه المنهج الوثائقي. وأسلوب جمع البيانات المتستخدم تحليل الوثائق. والمصادر البيانات من معجم المصطلحات كتابة المقالة العلمية عند ساه خالد ناسوتيون. ونتائج البحث تشتمل على أن معجم المصطلحات في كتابة المقالة العلمية الدكتور، ساه خالد ناسوتيون، الماجستير، قد يناسب بالأسلوب والمعايير كتابة المعجم ، من ناحية تصميم وتقويم المعجم، الذي ينطوي من المقدمة، أهداف، توضيحات، ورسومات للمعنى. وأما من ناحية تقويمه التي تتكون من التكامل، الإيجاز، تركيز محتويات، موضوعية في عرض معلوماته مطابق على طريقة كتابة المعجم. وظهرت نتيجة أن هذا المعجم من المعجم الجيد. ويعتبر هذا المعجم يلائم في الاستخدام. مهما كان فيه النقصان، مثل لا توفر أصل الكلمات أي المفردات المستخدمة فيه.

Abstract

AbstractThe linguistic corpus is an old study in language learning that has been carried out by experts in their fields and continues to experience significant development along with the use of digital technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. In linguistic analysis in Indonesia, the use of the linguistic corpus is still low. Corpus linguistic applications such as Sketch Engine, Lunchbox, AntConc, WordSmith, and other linguistic corpus applications have been developed. There is a lot of studies that using the linguistic corpus, and one of the linguistic studies is the study of the collocation. The study of collocation is an important study in language education to develop speaking skill and fluency. Accordingly, the researcher studied the collocation using the lorpus linguistic, and the researcher chose the Sketch Engine website as a data collection tool, so that it would be easier for the researcher to study the collocation of the word Al Hubb (love) in the novel Al Hubbul Maktum. The method this article uses a qualitative descriptive method, and the researcher conducted a library research to explain the forms of the word Al Hubb (love), the number of its appearance, and the forms of its collocations in the novel Al Hubbul Maktum. From this paper, the researcher found that the analysis of the collocations of the word Al Hubb (love) in the novel Al Hubbul Maktum using Corpus Linguistic can be done optimally and produce the forms of the word love and its collocations in the novel and then analyze it easily and faster. Accordingly, the researcher suggests that linguistic analysis for upgrading language skills using the Corpus Linguistic in Indonesia can be improved and developed so that it can turn into a new approach to teaching and learning Arabic.Keyword: Linguistic Corpus, study of collocations, language learning, Al Hubbul Maktum.

Abstract

الألفاظ المشتركة هي تحمل أكثر من معنى. واختار الباحث في هذا البحث لفظة الحكمة، لأن الباحث وجد اختلاف معنى الحكمة في القرآن الكريم بين آية واحدة وآية أخرى. و باختلاف المعنى في سياق مختلف يدل على أنه من الألفاظ المشتركة التي لها معان متعددة. وهذا على أساس تحليل البيانات من المعاجم اللغوية وتفاسير القرآن. ومن أهم نتائج هذه الدراسة هي أن لفظة الحكمة من المشترك اللفظي في القرآن الكريم، لأن لها معان متعددة. ووردت لفظة الحكمة في القرآن الكريم بأشكل مختلفة في 210 آيات، وأما لفظة الحكمة ذكرت 20 مرة في 19 آية وفي 12 سورة. وبالنظر إلى أصل الاشتقاق، أن لفظة الحكمة مشتقة من (حكم) وهو المنع، وبالنظر إلى وجوه اشتراكها، وجد الباحث اختلافا في وجوهها، قال بعضهم ستة أوجه، والآخر خمسة أوجه، ووجوه لفظة الحكمة هي: الموعظة، والسنة، والنبوة، والفهم، والقرآن، وعلوم القرآن أو تفسيره. اتفقوا في الخمسة واختلفوا في الواحد وهي السنة .

Abstract

Repetition is a style of language that beautifies the language itself. The existence of repetition in the Qur'an becomes a miracle that can soften anyone who reads or listens to it. Therefore, the study of repetition in the Qur'an becomes important in terms of linguistics, literature, and religion. This study aims to explore the types of repetitions in both Madaniyah surahs, Al-Ahzab, through a qualitative-descriptive approach that utilizes grounded research to analyze the data. The results of the study are found as follows. There are phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic repetitions and their types in surah Al-Ahzab, except for sentence repetition. There are 7 types of repetitions in surah Al-Ahzab, namely: mesodiplosis, tautotes, epizeuxis, anaphora, epiphora, simploke, and epanalepsis. There are one theme repetition in surah Al-Ahzab namely Asmaul Husna Allah, Most Forgiving, and Most Merciful.

Abstract

A Muslim should firmly hold Qur’an and Sunnah at all times in their lives and understanding them is a must. Qur'an has many verses explaining aqeedah and theology, Muslims dedicatedly learn it to limit the error and mistaken things on the content. Meanwhile, in the Qur’an Balaghah idioms are detailly characteristics with high vocabulary enrichment, even Uslub Ilmi or Uslub Adabi. Thus, researchers employe to conduct research Tahlilu-l-Asalib Al-Balaghiyyah Fi Surati-l-Fath as an object that has many idioms describing maghfiroh of Allah, Muslimin Independence on unbelievers, socialization, attitude, ibadah, and advice. Understanding Alqur’an with the Arabic Language needs comprehensive learning, and understanding the Arabic Language itself needs three bits of knowledge; Nahwu, Sharaf, and Balaghah. The researchers limit  Balaghah as a focused matter; it delineates idioms. Qur'an consists of many idioms that must be understood well by a Muslim who expects to master Alqur’an. Based on the aforementioned last point, the researchers apply a qualitative method to reach the goals. The data is collected by books and documentation to investigate the finding. The result of the finding many Uslub in there, they are Al-Isti’arah Almakniyah, Isti’arah Tashrihiyah, Tasybih Tamtsili, Kinayah, Iltifat, Ithnab, Shiyagul Mubalaghah, Iijazul Qashri, Thibaqu Iijabi, Thibaqu Sulbi, Saja’ dan Muqabalah. For the meaning in it, they are Al-Mubaya’ah, Al-mubadalah, Ad-diin, Atta’dziim, Aliltifat, Attakriir, Almubalaghah, Attasyriif, Attarghiib, Attadhad, Attashdiiq dan Almuqabalah. To develop the current issues within this research, the researchers suggest to the further scholars to find out the other sides of the chapter such as use of Balaghah in idioms of Surah al-Fath and some other uniques within this surah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readability level of the Durusullughah Al-Arabiyyah book and determine the percentage of common words in the Durusullughah Al-Arabiyyah book and its relationship with the readability level of the book. This study uses a mix-method approach (qualitativequantitative), with a descriptive presentation. The primary sources of this research are the result of the Cloze Test against the Durusulluguhah AlArabiyyah book and the Al-Munawwir Dictionary, with secondary sources in the form of books, articles, and other reliable references. The results showed that 235 sample people answered 100 points of the Cloze Test with a truth level of 75%, this level indicates the intermediate level or teaching level. The comparison of words in the Cloze test text with words in the AlMunawwir dictionary shows 96%. This figure shows that 96% percent of the words in the Cloze test text that represent the book Durusullughah, are in al-Munawwir’s dictionary. The high percentage of common words in a book indicates a high level of readability of the book. It can be concluded, that the book Durusullughah Al-Arabiyyah is a textbook that is easy to learn by students who use the Al-Munawwir Dictionary for daily learning.
