Al-Ta'rib : Jurnal Ilmiah Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab UIN Palangka Raya
Al Tarib is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes original research and critical scholarship on Arabic Language Education and Applied Arabic Linguistics with a particular emphasis on Arabic as a Foreign Language and Arabic as a Second Language. The journal aims to advance theoretically informed, methodologically rigorous, and globally relevant studies that address contemporary challenges and innovations in Arabic language teaching, learning, and assessment. The journal prioritizes contributions on pedagogy and curriculum innovation in Arabic language education, technology enhanced learning, digital pedagogy, artificial intelligence, and computational approaches to Arabic language teaching and learning. It also welcomes research on the development and assessment of Arabic language skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, translation, and communicative competence. Other areas include learner cognition, motivation, identity, self regulated learning, psychological and sociocultural dimensions of Arabic learning, teacher education, professional development, teacher agency, instructional design, Arabic language assessment and evaluation, multilingualism, language environments, intercultural communication, Arabic language policy, Arabic for Specific Purposes, and interdisciplinary applications of Arabic. The journal also welcomes emerging studies in Arabic linguistics, educational technology, digital humanities, and natural language processing that contribute to the advancement of Arabic language education. Particular consideration is given to studies employing robust empirical methods, systematic reviews, meta analyses, design based research, experimental approaches, mixed methods approaches, and interdisciplinary perspectives that generate transferable knowledge and contribute to the international development of Arabic language education and applied Arabic studies.

<![CDATA[The learning model is an essential element in the learning process. Many studies state that the Numbered Heads Together is a learning model that has proven effective in increasing student interest and learning outcomes in various materials. However, not much research has revealed the effectiveness of NHT in language learning, especially in Arabic. Therefore, the researchers want to explore the efficacy of the NHT learning model in improving Arabic learning outcomes on nahwu material. This study aims to explain the effectiveness of using the Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model in enhancing learning outcomes of nahwu material. The research design used was the Experiment posttest-only control design. The sample divided into two classes was all second-grade students of KMI PP Khadimul Ummah Riau. The data collection method used tests, while the data analysis method used the t-test and SPSS 16. The results of the data analysis in this study were: (1) posttest on experimental class students with minimum value of 65, maximum value of 100, and mean of 83.00. The minimum posttest results for control class students were 53, the top score was 90, and the mean was 74.26. (2) The results of this study indicated that Sig. (2-tailed) from the Mann-Whitney Test was 0.003 <0.05. From these data, NHT cooperative learning significantly influences the learning outcomes of second-grade students at Khodimul Ummah Riau Islamic Boarding School.]]>

<![CDATA[Writing is an essential skill taught in learning Arabic. Learning Arabic writing skills online often seems monotonous, so students feel bored. It will impact the mastery of the material the lecturer presents and the skills in writing Arabic. Therefore, it takes a medium from an image so that students can express ideas to compose an article that fits the specified theme. This study aims to determine the effect of flashcards in online-based Maharah Kitabah learning on student learning outcomes at IAIN Palangka Raya. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects were 23 students of IAIN Palangka Raya. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The data collected was then analyzed using SPSS. The study results indicated that there was an influence of flashcards in online-based Maharah Kitabah learning on student learning outcomes at IAIN Palangka Raya. Students are invited to master the material using this media, both in theory and practice, since flashcards emphasize practicing rather than just delivering material. Consequently, using this media effectively increases interest in Maharah Kitabah learning.]]>

<![CDATA[There have been various discussions on the use of TikTok in Arabic learning today, and they indicate that it has the potential as an interactive learning media. However, using TikTok in Audiolingual-based Arabic learning needs more attention. Therefore, this research aims to fill the gap by describing the utilization, stages, and supporting and inhibiting factors in using TikTok in Arabic learning based on an Audiolingual approach at an Islamic Junior High School in Indonesia. This study used descriptive qualitative research. The researcher carried out observations and interviews to obtain research data. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of this study report that 1) the use of TikTok in learning Arabic is based on media support, teaching skills, and variations in delivery. 2) There are three stages in the learning process: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. 3) Supporting factors found are students' ability to understand lessons and adequate school facilities. The inhibiting factor is the limited time available for applying the audiolingual method, which takes quite a long time and makes students feel bored. This study recommends research on the effectiveness of TikTok on interest, motivation, and achievement in learning Arabic.]]>

<![CDATA[The international class in the Islamic Education study program establishes Arabic as a language of instruction in its implementation of learning, yet not all students have good competences in Arabic. Therefore, Arabic learning is an additional program that is taught outside of regular class hours to practice Arabic skills. Thus, this study explained the implementation of the Arabic learning process in the Islamic Education Study Program in the international class carried out for the first semester students. This study used descriptive qualitative. Collecting data in this study was done by conducting observation and documentation based on Miles and Huberman's theory. Data analysis used in this study was based on the process of collecting data, data reduction, and conclusion. The study result shows that Arabic learning becomes one of the programs that helps students to master Arabic. The implementation of learning using Arabic as the language of instruction can be understood by the students and it even facilitates the communication between the students and the teacher to create a more active learning atmosphere.]]>
