Abstract

This study investigates and analyzes learning phenomena related to moral values in the contextof problem-based learning activities, the process of moral values internalization in relation toproblem-based learning situations, conditions that relate to the enhancement of comprehensionas well as internalization of the values, and their impact to the tendency of actualizing thevalues into better student behaviour. This research was conducted with participation of thestudents of the Arabic Department, Faculty of Language and Arts Education, IndonesiaUniversity of Education in the academic years 2009, 2010, and 2011. The data to be analysedin this research comprises of the students’ written responses (initial responses, group workresponses, and written reflection), classroom observation, and in-depth interviews. The dataused was analyzed by considering the principles of credibility, dependability, transferability,and confirmability. Data analysis, using principles of qualitative approach, reveals phenomenarelating to the students’ comprehension, feelings, and behavior regarding the moral values, as aresult of learning stages designed based on the theoretical framework. In addition to this result,an instructional theory and a learning theory can be formulated.Key words: internalization, akhlak (moral) values, problem-based learning

Abstract

Learning the Arabic language at Mts Muallimin NW pancor using the standard textbooks without any improvisation in presenting Arabic language learning materials, the author tries to develop Arabic language learning media with comic media aimed at presenting new media that are more attractive to students Mts Muallimin NW Pancor, the methodology used in this research is the research method of development R&D ( Research and Development) Borg and Gell. One media expert lecturer and one material expert lecturer reviewed product feasibility and responded by 30 students of grade VII MTS Muallimin NW Pancor; the instrument in this research is a questionnaire to see the quality of products and students' responses media. The assessment results from both experts obtained a value of 52 for the assessment of material experts in the range of 44.16 < X_(<) 54.48, which means comic media can be said to be valid and 65 for the assessment of media experts and is in the range of 54.36 < X_(<) 67.08. It means comic media can be said to be valid. Moreover, the questionnaire's response with respondents who answered 'Yes' in the school MTS Muallimin NW Pancor was about 94.8% compared to students who answered "no," namely 5.2%. The comic media product developed is worthy of being used to learn the Arabic language from the research. Keywords: Development, Arabic language learning, Comic media. Abstrak Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTS Muallimin Nw pancor menggunakan buku pelajaran yang biasa tanpa ada imvropisasi dalam menyajikan materi pembelajaran bahasa Arab, penulis mencoba untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan media komik yang bertujuan untuk memeberikan media baru yang lebih menarik bagi siswa Mts muallimin nw Pancor, metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan R&D ( Research And Depelopement) Borg and Gell. Kelayakan produk ditinjau oleh satu dosen ahli media, dan satu dosen ahli materi,. Dan direspon oleh 30 peserta didik kelas VII Mts Muallimin NW Pancor, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument berupa angket untuk melihat kualitas produk dan respon siswa terhadap media. Hasil penilaian dari kedua ahli diperoleh nilai 52 untuk penilaian ahli materi yang berada pada rentang 44,16 < X 54,48 yang berarti media komik dapat dikatakan valid dan 65 untuk penilian ahli media dan berada pada rentang 54,36 < X 67,08. Yang berarti media komik dapat dikatakan valid. Dan respon angket siswa dengan hasil responden yang menjawab ‘Ya’ di sekolah Mts Muallimin NW Pancor, sekitar 94,8% dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menjawab “tidak”yaitu 5,2%.dari hasi penelitian tersebut maka produk media komik yang dikembangkan layak untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Arab . Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, Media Komik.

Abstract

البلاغة علم يدرس جمال لغة القرآن. كما قال تيسير محمد الزيادات، أن علم البلاغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها ليس أمرا سهلا. هذه الصعوبات لعدة أسباب، أولاً: يناقش البلاغة علاقة الكلمات والتعبيرات بالمواقف والبيئات والمعاني، ففي البلاغة يوجد معنى للحقيقي والمجازي (المعنى الضمني)، وهناك علاقة بين التعبيرات والمشاعر، الجمال والخيال. ثانيًا، الأمثلة الواردة في كتب البلاغة مأخوذة من الشعر العربي، الذي تشعر لغته بأنها غريبة على الطلاب، وكيفية فهمها لا يشبه فهم الجمل العادية. لذلك يجب أن يكون هناك حل للمساعدة في تسهيل الأمر، بما في ذلك تغيير أساليب التدريس وتجميع كتب البلاغة بطريقة سهلة، أو باستخدام طرق التدريس المناسبة. وفي هذا البحث، أرادت الباحثة البحث عن طرق وتكنولوجيا التعليم في علم البلاغة. منها طريقة النهج الأدبي، الطريقة القياسية، الطريقة الاستقرائية، طريقة التعلم المختلط، التحليل التقابلي، وبعض الوسائل السامحة لنستخدمها في تعليم البلاغة كالخرائط الذهنية الألكترونية ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والوسيلة التعليمية بالصورة. لكل من هذه الطريقة والوسائل مزايا وعيوب. أشرح في هذا البحث بحيث يمكن أن يكون مصدر في اختيار وسائل التعليم والوسائل. لأن لكل الطريقة والوسائل في التعليم مزايا وعيوب. فللمدرس لا يمكن أن يركز على طريقة أو وسيلة واحدة فقط. والمناقشة هذه المرة يمكن أن تكون مرجعا إضافيا لمعلم البلاغة في تنفيذ تعليم البلاغة.

Abstract

This study examines the characteristics of teaching materials that can lead to moral feeling conflict; a classroom activity model that can reinforce moral feeling conflict, followed by a change of moral feeling until the occurrence of an imbalance of moral feeling; and the characteristics of lecture assignments that can encourage the process of internalization of character values and enable the occurrence of the values actualization in student life. The subjects of the study are Arabic Language Education students who take Tahdzibul Akhlaq course in the even semester of 2013/2014. Based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation of students’ muhasabah report, it can be concluded that teaching material with contextual material which is related to the students’ life experience has great potential to create moral feeling conflict. The process of reflection in class discussions about the material can create an imbalance of students' moral feelings that triggered the internalization process. Meanwhile, lecture assignments that are able to create internalization of character values productively are field tasks, they are observation of real life from the surrounding environment according to the teaching material and also observation that is related to the life experience of the students so that there is a change of moral feeling.

Abstract

The fact of student’s enthusiasm in participating in learning Arabic in educational units, especially formal education which tends to be monotonous and lacking in designing the learning process so that the material can be conveyed properly and clearly so that the expected goals can be achieved optimally is a problem that is often heard. Considering that in arousing the enthusiasm of students so that they are happy in following Arabic lessons, one of the efforts that can be done is to teach Arabic by preparing a learning plan and teaching Arabic that is good and fun. Therefore researchers conducted further research on these matters. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of learning Arabic in non-formal institutions that prioritize aspects of language proficiency through the Shar'i program at the Pare Markaz Arabiyah Institute starting from planning, implementation, evaluation and constraints that occur in learning activities. The method used in this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach using data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The sample of this study is Arabic teachers and Syarqi class students 1. The results of the study show that: (1) The planning of learning conducted by the teacher in preparing and improving the quality of Arabic skills learning is in accordance with the guidelines for the preparation of a typical Markaz Arabiyah curriculum design. (2) The series of processes in the implementation of Arabic skills learning in terms of teaching and learning activities carried out by teachers consists of 3 series of activities, namely initial activities as preliminary, core activities and closing activities, as a whole can be assessed as good. (3) Evaluation of Arabic learning conducted by teachers is well implemented and the achievement of student evaluation results is quite satisfying. by carrying out three evaluations namely daily evaluation, weekly evaluation and final evaluation of the program, the evaluation forms that teachers use are in the form of oral tests and written tests. (4) the obstacles that occur in the process of learning Arabic are first from students who have different cognitive abilities, and from Arabic teachers who still need variations in using various learning methods, then the obstacles that arise are the lack of availability of language laboratory facilities for listening subjects.

Abstract

Today the dissemination of information is very easy to obtain, this much information is often related to problems of daily life so it is often used as a reference to address or solve a problem, maybe even in deciding something. In the context of today's life, there are many cases related to this information issue. This research is to examine more deeply through research on how the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an are related to this information problem in the context we are facing today. This study uses qualitative research related to the process of obtaining correct and accountable information both in relation to humans and to God. Abstract

ABSTRACT SQ3R is a learning method consisting of: Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review. SQ3R is often used to help students' reading skills. Mastering language vocabulary is the main capital to achieve aspects of language skills which include listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills students need to master the vocabulary of the language learned. The research that will be carried out at MTS Al-Inayah in class VIII aims to find out: the influence of SQ3R in mastering Arabic vocabulary in grade VIII students of MTS Al-Inayah Bandung and the difference in student learning outcomes between the application of the SQ3R method and those who do not use SQ3R. This study used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. By using the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design scheme. In this design is divided into two, namely the control class and the experimental class is selected without going through randomly. Data collection using test and non-test. The test includes a pre-test and post-test to determine the level of Arabic vocabulary mastery. For non-test data collection using observation and documentation. The results of this study were (1) the SQ3R learning method had an impact on the Arabic language vocabulary mastery of Grade VIII students of MTS Al-Inayah with an increase of 28.85 from an average of 52.30 to 81.15. This is associated with a significance value of 0.00 which is less than the value of 0.05 which means there are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental class using SQ3R.

Abstract

The existence of the Multicultural class is an attraction, because not all schools dare to carry out the Multicultural class program in overcoming social inequalities that often occur. Cultural conflicts and violence in Papua, the assessment of the term dividing individuals through religion, riots, and intolerance are not new discourses that appear in the highlights of the mass media. The multicultural class bridges teaching related to these issues to the nation's children so as not to repeat the same case, realizes the value of Pancasila that we are one, and also interprets the country's motto, namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Religion is not necessarily taught to individuals for free, various media and methods are carried out for this teaching collaboration. It is not a taboo subject, Islam teaches the diversity of multicultural education implicitly in the Qur'anic text. So it is not impossible, religion and multicultural education become a harmonious blend in learning. In a society, religion is one of the factors that support life, especially in spiritual life. Therefore, the researcher considers it necessary to do community service based on these social phenomena, with the aim of strengthening the cultivation of religious and social character values for the community by contamination of the existence of various cultures of immigrants who settled with the intention of school students from outside the area.

Abstract

This study aims to identify difficulties and factors experienced by tenth-grade students and educators in implementing hiwar (dialogue) learning in a Senior High School located in Bandung City. The research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Techniques of data collection through test and non-test instruments. The test instrument is conducted through Arabic dialogue and non-tests through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions from existing data. The results of the study revealed the difficulties encountered in hiwar learning are students feel incapable of understanding the hiwar learning materials provided by the teacher, students can not pronounce Arabic words, and can not express intonations correctly in Arabic dialogue. The difficulty factors are educational backgrounds, methods of learning, learning media, student ignorance of Arabic speech along with intonation, do not have textbooks and limited time, lack of student interest and motivation in learning hiwar, and student self-confidence.

Abstract

This study examines the learning outcomes of Arabic language learning during and after the COVID-19 pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Inayah in Bandung City, Indonesia. Qualitative research methods, including interviews, observations and documentation, were used to analyze the effectiveness of learning methods and factors influencing student learning outcomes. Purposive sampling was employed to select 15 ninth-grade students studying Arabic. The findings of the study reveal several important points. First, there were differences in the learning situation between home and school. Students must help understand Arabic material during online learning and catch up when returning to face-to-face classes. Second, students preferred to learn at school due to a more engaging and interactive environment, while online learning was associated with distractions and reduced motivation. Third, students perceived online methods as monotonous and less effective than post-pandemic methods. Fourth, various learning media were utilized during online learning. Additionally, students reported that even the online platforms couldn't help them study the Arabic language. The study emphasizes the importance of interactive and engaging methods to enhance student learning outcomes. The results contribute to a broader understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Education and provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers. Keywords: Arabic Language Learning, COVID-19, Post-Pandemic, Learning Outcomes   Abstrak Studi ini menguji hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab selama dan setelah pandemi COVID-19 di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Inayah di Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Metode penelitian kualitatif, termasuk wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, digunakan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive dilakukan untuk memilih 15 siswa kelas 9 yang sedang mempelajari bahasa Arab. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa poin penting. Yang pertama, terdapat perbedaan dalam situasi pembelajaran antara di rumah dan di sekolah. Siswa menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami materi bahasa Arab selama pembelajaran daring dan kesulitan mengejar ketertinggalan ketika ke pembelajaran tatap muka. Kedua, siswa lebih memilih pembelajaran di sekolah karena lingkungan yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, sedangkan pembelajaran daring dikaitkan dengan gangguan dan motivasi yang menurun. Ketiga, siswa menganggap metode pembelajaran daring lebih monoton dan kurang efektif dibandingkan dengan metode pasca pandemi. Keempat, berbagai media pembelajaran digunakan selama pembelajaran daring, akan tetapi siswa mengaku bahwa platform daring pun tidak dapat membantu mereka dalam memahami pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya metode yang interaktif dan menarik untuk meningkatkan hasil belaja siswa. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih luas tentang dampak pandemic COVID-19 pada penddikan dan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan.
