Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji dinamika sejarah pendidikan diniyah dalam kebijakan pemerintah di Indonesia serta implikasinya terhadap eksistensi dan peran lembaga pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan diniyah tumbuh dari tradisi pesantren dan berkembang sebagai respons atas kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pendidikan yang menyeimbangkan aspek keilmuan dan moral. Dalam perjalanan sejarahnya, pendidikan diniyah mengalami berbagai dinamika kebijakan sejak masa kolonial, Orde Lama, Orde Baru, hingga era Reformasi. Kebijakan pemerintah yang tertulis dalam Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, peraturan menteri, serta peraturan pemerintah memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap arah pengembangan pendidikan diniyah, baik dalam aspek kelembagaan, kurikulum, maupun pengakuan legal formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan historis-kualitatif dengan menelaah berbagai regulasi, kebijakan pendidikan, serta perkembangan institusional pendidikan diniyah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan diniyah mengalami transformasi dari lembaga pendidikan keagamaan nonformal menuju sistem pendidikan yang diakui secara nasional. Penerbitan UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 dan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 55 Tahun 2007 menjadi titik penting dalam memperkuat posisi pendidikan diniyah sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional. Kebijakan tersebut membuka peluang bagi lulusan pendidikan diniyah untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dan memperoleh kesempatan kerja yang setara dengan lulusan sekolah umum. Namun demikian, dinamika kebijakan juga menghadirkan tantangan, seperti penyesuaian kurikulum, keterbatasan sumber daya pendidik, dan perubahan orientasi pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang lebih komprehensif dan berkelanjutan agar pendidikan diniyah tetap mampu mempertahankan karakter keislamannya sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas akademik. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan Islam yang lebih adaptif, inklusif, dan berorientasi pada penguatan mutu pendidikan nasional

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of school climate and teacher pedagogical competence to the quality of learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Employing a qualitative literature review method with content analysis, this research synthesizes academic literature to develop a conceptual understanding of how both factors influence learning quality. The findings reveal that school climate contributes through positive interpersonal relationships, principal support, clear rules, academic culture, inclusive atmosphere, and physical and psychological safety. Pedagogical competence contributes through understanding student characteristics, effective instructional design and implementation, mastery of subject matter, communication skills, classroom management, comprehensive evaluation, learning difficulty diagnosis, student potential development, meaningful learning creation, reflective practice, adaptation to change, collaboration, and commitment to continuous professional development. Optimal learning quality is achieved when positive school climate and strong pedagogical competence exist simultaneously and reinforce each other. The study implies that efforts to improve learning quality must address both factors in an integrated manner. Future research is recommended to conduct empirical studies testing the relationship among these variables, while madrasah managers are advised to regularly evaluate school climate and map teacher competence as a basis for designing targeted improvement programs

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of character-based English language learning in enhancing the competence of students at Muhammadiyah Kwala Madu Islamic Boarding School. The research is grounded in the importance of integrating character education values into language learning to foster not only linguistic proficiency but also positive attitudes and moral development among students. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of character-based English learning is carried out through the integration of character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and respect within teaching activities. Teachers incorporate these values through interactive methods, including group discussions, role-plays, and daily English communication practices. The results indicate that this approach contributes significantly to improving students’ English competence, particularly in speaking and listening skills, while also strengthening their character development. n conclusion, character-based English language learning is effective in enhancing both students’ language competence and character formation. Therefore, it is recommended that educators consistently integrate character values into English language instruction, especially in Islamic boarding school contexts.

Abstract

This literature study aims to analyze the interaction between learning models, learning motivation, learning styles, and learning facilities in determining the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used is qualitative library research with a thematic synthesis approach following systematic literature review procedures. The results indicate that varied and student-centered learning models can arouse intrinsic motivation through experiences of competence, autonomy, and social relatedness. Learning motivation functions as the driving energy that determines the level of effort students expend in engaging with the learning process. Diverse learning styles require teachers to present material through multiple modalities so that each student can access information through the pathway most suitable for them. Adequate learning facilities provide the material infrastructure that supports the optimization of the learning process and enables teachers to implement differentiated instruction. The synergy between these four factors creates a conducive learning ecosystem for achieving optimal learning outcomes. This study contributes theoretically to enriching the ecological perspective on elementary education and practically provides reflective foundations for teachers, principals, and policymakers in optimizing learning processes and facilities.

Abstract

Educational leadership is a key factor in determining the quality and success of an educational institution. In the context of increasingly complex modern devlopments, educational leaders are required to demonstrate a high level of professional quality in understanding and implementing their roles and functions effectively. This study aims to analyza the professional quality of educational leadership in understanding the roles and functions of institutional leaders and its implications for improving educational quality. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study method by examining various academic sources such as book, journals, and relevant documents related to educational leadership and management. The data were analyzed systematically to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the concept of professional educational leadership quality. The reults indicate that professional quality in educational leadership encompasses various competencies, including managerial, personal, social, and professional competencies. Educational leaders serve multiple roles, such as leaders, managers, educators, administrators, and supervisors, which must be carried out in an integrated manner. In addition, leadders perform key management functions, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. Professional quality in leadership is not only oriented toward technical abilities but also toward integrity, responsibility, and exemplary behavior. In conclusion, the professional quality of educational leadership significantly influences the effectiveness of institutional management and the overall improvement of educational quality. Therefore, educational leaders need to continuously develop their competencies and personal qualities to face the challenges of modern education..

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing conflicts in educational institutions caused by differences in perception, interests, and ineffective communication. This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership in managing conflicts through organizational communication. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach by analyzing relevant scientific literature. The results show that organizational communication plays a significant role in reducing conflict, improving working relationships, and creating a harmonious environment. Effective communication, especially open and two-way communication, can minimize misunderstandings and accelerate conflict resolution. In conclusion, communicative and participatory leadership is the key to effective conflict management in educational institutions. The implication of this study highlights the importance of strengthening organizational communication as a strategy to create stability and effectiveness in educational organizations.

Abstract

This study examines Islamic Religious Education learning management based on the Sunnah values of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in shaping Islamic school identity at Alhazen School Bintaro. The background of this study lies in the challenge faced by modern Islamic schools in preserving prophetic values amid the influence of popular culture, secular learning orientations, and formalistic religious instruction. Islamic education should not only transmit religious knowledge, but also manage adab, worship habituation, teacher exemplary conduct, and school culture as an integrated learning system. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with school leaders and teachers, and documentation of learning activities and school culture. The findings show that Islamic Religious Education learning management at Alhazen School Bintaro integrates Sunnah values through teacher and student adab, morning dhikr, Qur’anic muraja’ah, worship habituation, Islamic verbal expressions, teacher role modelling, classroom discipline, and a spiritually oriented learning environment. The internalization process is implemented through habituation, exemplary conduct, Islamic environmental culture, cultural filtering, and collective religious activities. This study concludes that Sunnah-based Islamic Religious Education learning management strengthens Islamic school identity by connecting knowledge, worship, adab, character formation, and institutional culture into daily educational practices.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Qur'an learning strategy using the Ummi Method and analyze its effectiveness in improving the Qur'an reading skills of santri at Islamic Boarding School At Tauhid Surabaya. The Ummi Method is a Qur'an learning method that emphasizes the direct method, repetition, and affection with the principles of being easy, enjoyable, and touching the heart.This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included Ummi Method teachers and santri of Islamic Boarding School At Tauhid Surabaya. The results showed that the Ummi Method Qur'an learning strategy is implemented through 7 basic stages: opening, apperception, concept planting, understanding, drill/skill, evaluation, and closing.The implementation of the Ummi Method has proven to improve santri's Qur'an reading skills, marked by: 1) Improved reading fluency according to tajwid rules, 2) Improved accuracy of makhraj and letter characteristics, 3) Increased motivation and enjoyment of santri in learning the Qur'an. Supporting factors for success include certified teacher competence, the Ummi Foundation quality management system, and consistency in using the jilid books. The inhibiting factors are the differences in santri's initial abilities and limited learning time.Keywords: Learning Strategy, Ummi Method, Qur'an Reading Skills

Abstract

Medan City, as the capital of North Sumatra, is highly susceptible to perennial flood disasters that pose significant fiscal risks and economic disruption. This study examines the strategic role of public sector accounting in mitigating economic impacts and facilitating post-disaster recovery in Medan. Adopting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, the research synthesizes academic journals and official reports published between 2020 and 2025. The analytical framework incorporates the Value for Money (VFM) principle, economic vulnerability analysis, and emergency fund effectiveness models. The findings reveal that the economic causes of flood impacts are rooted in high vulnerability within MSME clusters and inadequate asset impairment records. Strategic management through the optimization of Unexpected Expenditures, simplified bureaucratic accounting for aid distribution, and the implementation of disaster-risk-based budgeting is essential. This study concludes that disaster accounting acts as a vital pillar for regional fiscal resilience and public accountability, ensuring sustainable economic recovery for the people of Medan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public relations management courses on the communication competence of Islamic Education Management students of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. A quantitative approach is used by collecting data through a questionnaire through a Google Form that has been validated by experts. The sample consisted of 92 students of the class of 2023 from a population of 125, determined based on the Krejcie and Morgan tables for proportional representation. The analysis was performed with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS, including convergent validity tests (outer loading >0.70, AVE >0.50), reliability (Cronbach's Alpha >0.70), and bootstrapping for path coefficients, T-statistics, and R-squares. The results of the data analysis found that the Public Relations Management and Public Relations course had a positive and significant effect on communication competence with a path coefficient of 0.817, T-statistics of 19.319 (p<0.001), and R-square of 0.668. Therefore, this course is effective in shaping students' communication competencies through applied learning.
