Abstract

Keliki Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, has a TPS3R which was initially considered less attractive by the local community because it was considered to interfere with tourism. This background encouraged the implementation of green infrastructure in the TPS3R of Keliki Village as an effort to improve the quality of the environment and the aesthetics of the area. The problems faced were the low public awareness of sustainable environmental management and the lack of skills of local craftsmen in implementing green infrastructure principles. The purpose of this activity was to rearrange the TPS3R according to green infrastructure standards, while providing training to local craftsmen so that they are able to work on infrastructure projects properly. The method used involved collaboration between the Bali State Polytechnic, the Keliki Village Government, and the Yowana Bakti Keliki BUMDES, with training in installing environmentally friendly geotextile-based paving as the main focus. The Village Government provided the facilities, infrastructure, and materials needed, while the BUMDES facilitated labor from local banjars. The results of this activity showed an increase in the skills of local craftsmen and the arrangement of the TPS3R which was more visually attractive, in accordance with the concept of green infrastructure. In conclusion, the implementation of green infrastructure in TPS3R has not only succeeded in improving environmental quality, but also changed the image of TPS3R into an environmentally friendly area and more attractive to the community and tourists.

Abstract

The higher the mobility, the higher the volume of traffic on the road, this causes quite significant congestion, then the higher the mobility, the higher the queues and delays at an intersection. Therefore, there is a need for study or research regarding the continuous and ongoing performance of intersections. continuously every year. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of unsignalized intersections using the PKJI 2023 method using quantitative descriptive methods, data collection is carried out through traffic surveys to obtain intersection performance in the form of traffic flow volume (V), capacity (C), degree of saturation. (DJ), delay (T), and queue probability (PA). The analysis method is in accordance with the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023) as a reference in research. The results of the intersection analysis showed that the highest traffic volume occurred on Monday 19 February 2024 at 06.30-07.30 WIB with a traffic flow volume (V) = 1,401 cur/hour, with a capacity value (C) = 3,512.05 cur/hour, degree of saturation (DJ) = 0.40, Delay (T) = 9.62 sec/cur, and queue probability (PA) upper limit = 18.75% and lower limit = 7.58%. Meanwhile, there is an intersection performance engineering for the next five years with traffic flow volume (V) = 1800 cur/hour and degree of saturation (DJ) = 0.51.

Abstract

Assessment using the International Roughness Index (IRI) is an important indicator in evaluating the quality of road surfaces, which affects the comfort and safety of users. This study aims to map road conditions in Tembalang District, Semarang City, using the IRI value as a reference for determining maintenance budget needs. IRI data was collected using the RoadLabPro application on a smartphone installed in a four-wheeled vehicle, with measurements taken on various roads in Tembalang District to obtain a representation of overall road conditions. The collected data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to classify road conditions into categories of Good (IRI ≤ 4.0), Moderate (4.1 ≤ IRI ≤ 8.0), Lightly Damaged (8.1 ≤ IRI ≤ 12), and Severely Damaged (IRI ≥ 12). The analysis results show that 80.65% of the road sections are in good condition, with an average IRI of 2.98 m/km, while the other 19.35% are in moderate condition with an average IRI of 4.32 m/km. Mapping data using QGIS facilitates the identification of areas that require further maintenance. The results of this study are expected to support more appropriate decision-making regarding road maintenance planning and budgeting in Tembalang District.

Abstract

Human resources (man) as the main construction resource must be professional, competent and certified. Certificates for construction workers are clearly stated in Government Regulation Number 14 of 2021 concerning construction services. The Government Regulation requires workers in the construction sector to have a work competency certificate and construction service actors to employ construction workers who have a work competency certificate. Construction service actors are expected to have a work competency certificate (SKK) in accordance with job qualifications and education levels.   The phenomenon is that some SKK ownership is not in accordance with the level requirements stipulated in the Perpres No. 8/2012 regulation. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of education for the 4-5 level work competency certification process in Semarang City. The research method used is qualitative with data collection of test results from TUK. The data analysis method used is coding analysis. The results of competency tests at levels 4-5 show that more than 50% of competency test participants have the latest education that is not in accordance with the requirements of Perpres No. 8/2012.

Abstract

The threat of flood disasters when the rainy season arrives is a big problem currently being faced by the city of Jakarta. The city of Jakarta, which is the nation's capital, has made this city a business center and metropolitan city, so that development of both structures and infrastructure is growing rapidly, as a result of this large amount of development, this will automatically reduce the availability of open land, resulting in less and less rainwater infiltration over time. In addition, rainwater as a source of clean water has been considered wastewater which can cause gloves and must be channeled downstream as quickly as possible so that rainwater is not given the opportunity to seep into the soil through infiltration and percolation processes which are conditions This will have an impact on the availability of water on land becoming less. Based on the problems above, a method is needed to optimize drainage performance in order to overcome flooding and the scarcity of water sources. One of them is using a sustainable drainage concept. This concept aims to reduce inundation due to surface flow and conserve water. The research method used was a survey, data analysis using hydrological and hydraulic analysis. The research case study was carried out at the Central Jakarta State Secretariat housing complex with the results of the analysis of the implementation of 30 infiltration wells with a diameter of 0.8 meters and a well depth of 2.4 meters. From the research results, it was found that one infiltration well can hold 1.2063 m3 of water and the well filling time is 51 seconds. So for 30 wells the reduced rainwater discharge is 36.189 m3 during 51 seconds of rain, while the planned flood discharge during 51 seconds of rain is 38.25 m3 and if the percentage is calculated, the reduced rainwater reaches 94.61%.

Abstract

The establishment of the Sempulur Asri Waste Bank began with the establishment of the Sempulur Asri Waste Bank located in RW 5, Gedawang Village, which was pioneered in 2014. The increase in the number of customers made management overwhelmed the management with the problems experienced, there were three main problems in the form of conventional customer account management, suboptimal marketing of the Sempulur waste bank, and incomplete and conventional production equipment. The solution to the problem of conventional customer account management is to digitize the management of the Sempulur Waste Bank account. Solutions for managers who do not master information technology, training and assistance in digitizing the management of the Sempulur Asri waste bank are absolutely necessary. Solutions for customers who are still unfamiliar with the use of information technology, training and assistance in digitizing for customer accessibility related to mutations. The implementation of empowerment is carried out by creating a system utilizing Google Drive for data and file storage. Then for Google Spreadsheet to recap each customer's account mutations and adding customers. In the implementation, it was later found that it was easy for customers to access the balance. This is because the implementation using email is considered less understandable by the customer. Then checking the account by the customer can use the website. This website is used for free using facilities from google sites
