Abstract

The teacher's effort is an activity that must be carried out by a teacher in guiding, honing abilities, and shaping the character potential of students. In the teacher's effort, there is a problem experienced by class teachers in increasing interest in social studies learning, namely how the class teacher implements in increasing interest in social studies learning in high grade students. In addition to efforts, what are the obstacles experienced by classroom teachers in increasing interest in learning social studies in high-grade students? Therefore, researchers want to conduct research at SD Negeri Lamtheun to find out about the efforts of classroom teachers in increasing interest in learning social studies in high-grade students and to find out what obstacles are experienced by teachers who are carried out at SD Negeri Lamtheun Aceh Besar which is the goal of the problem in this research. By using a qualitative approach in a descriptive way. Sources of information were obtained from teachers in grades IV V through observations and interviews about how educators increase students' interest in social studies learning in their classrooms. Based on the results of observational data analysis, the teacher applies learning methods that can develop an increasing interest in learning social studies in high school as a whole, and run well. While the results of the interview with Mrs. Aniyat Mrs. Rasyhida got good results in increasing interest in learning social studies, it's just that there must be follow-up in adding learning media and teaching materials from schools in order to achieve the goals of the vision mission. Therefore, good communication must be established between teachers and schools in order to achieve better learning goals and achieve goals in increasing student interest in learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the activities and improvement of student learning outcomes by using interactive PowerPoint on Single and Mixed Substances topic in 5th grade of SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh. The hypothesis that the researcher proposes is that the use of interactive PowerPoint can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students on Single and Mixed Substances topics. The approach used is a qualitative approach with classroom action research. Data collection methods, namely observation, and test. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher explained thoroughly the conditions in the field and the result of the cycle evaluation. The results showed that the activity of students in the first cycle was in sufficient criteria while the second cycle was in very good criteria. The average value of pre-cycle students is 54,1 with classical completion of 20%. Cycle I became 67,4 with classical completion of 51% and cycle II an average value of 82,9 with classical completion of 92%. The conclusion of the study is that the use of interactive power point-based multimedia can improve learning outcomes for Theme ( Sub-theme 1 with Single and Mixed Substances in 5th grade of SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh

Abstract

Pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan bahan alam yang terdapat di lingkungan sekitar, peserta didik jadi lebih aktif, kreatif serta termotivasi dalam belajar. Kemudian melalui penggunaan bahan alam sebagai sumber belajar bisa memberikan kesempatan terhadap peserta didik agar lebih mencintai, peduli serta tanggap pada lingkungan.Pendekatan pada penelitian ini kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian guru kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Lambheu Aceh Besar. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data penyajian data, kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian berikut ialah strategi yang digunakan oleh guru untuk mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik melalui pembuatan kolase dari bahan kulit jagung adalah menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yaitu melalui langkah mengamati contoh kolase yang sudah jadi, memberikan kesempatan bertanya bagi peserta didik, mangajak peserta didik mencoba membuat kolase, membimbing peserta didik dalam proses pembuatan kolase, dan  meminta peserta didik mempresentasikan hasil karyanya. Melalui penerapan langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik guru dapat mengembangkan karakteristik peserta didik agar memiliki ciri-ciri kreativitas.

Abstract

This study aims to see the significant impact of using the scramble-type cooperative model on students’ learning achievement in Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in my Country, Sub-theme 2, especially in social studies subjects regarding the diversity of traditional houses and traditional clothing in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach of the Pre-Experimental type with the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. This research was carried out at the 71 Banda Aceh State Elementary School on Jalan Mesjid Al-Qurban, Mibo Village, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City. Sampling using saturated sampling technique, the sample used is all students in fourth grade totaling 26 people. The data collection technique used tests in the form of multiple choice pretest and posttest, totaling 20 questions. The data analysis technique used hypothesis testing with t-test statistics at a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the t-test hypothesis research obtained tcount of 15.04 table of 1.71 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact in the use of the scramble type cooperative model on student learning achievement in Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in My Country, Sub-theme 2 in grade IV SDN 71 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

In learning science it requires a concept discovery process in understanding the lesson, such as using learning media. During observations in class V SD Negeri 1 Calang the teacher found that the teacher only used pictures in the book on the water cycle material. This study aims to see the effect of audio-visual media on student learning outcomes on the water cycle material. The approach used is a quantitative and experimental approach, namely the type of research with a one group pretest and posttest design model. The place where this research was carried out was at SD Negeri 1 Calang on Jalan Attorney No. 10, Happy Village, Krueng Sabee District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The population for this study were all students of class V SD Negeri 1 Calang, Aceh Jaya Regency, amounting to 21 people because the population was not enough 30, therefore the entire population was sampled. The data collection technique used a pretest and posttest made of multiple choices. SPSS statistics version 25 is the data analysis technique used. To prove the hypothesis used is a paired sample test t test which obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05. The results of the criteria for these values are H₀ rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect audio-visual media on student learning outcomes on the water cycle material in class V SD Negeri 1 Calang, Aceh Jaya Regency.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model on student learning outcomes in building materials in Class V SD Negeri Garot Kec. Darul Imarah Kab. Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is experimental with the design used being One group pretest-posttest. In this study, the population will be all fifth graders in SD Negeri Garot, Kec. Darul Imarah Kab. Aceh Besar while the sample in this study is all students of class Va, the number of students in class Va is 30. The study was carried out for 4 days. The data collection technique was carried out by giving pre-test questions and also post-test questions. The data analysis technique used the average value of the pre-test and also the post-test, and also the hypothesis testing using the t-test statistic. The results showed that count = 6.628 while table = 1.70 so it can be seen that if count table, it is 6.628 1.70. Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so the hypothesis in this study states that "there is a significant effect of the Snowball Throwing model on student learning outcomes in the material of building space in Class V SD Negeri Garot Kec. Darul Imarah Kab. Aceh Besar” is acceptable.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the efforts of teachers in dealing with slow learner children at SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were the fourth and fifth-grade teachers of SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar. Information collection is done by using the method of perception and interviews. Furthermore, all information from perceptions and encounters is handled during the information inquiry stage, specifically information reduction, information display, and final withdrawal. The results of the research conducted at SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar showed that the efforts made by teachers in dealing with slow learner children were, first; to take an individual approach to children. Second; using a variety of learning methods to attract children's attention and interest. Third; collaborate with parents. Fourth; always motivate children. Fifth; to familiarize the Indonesian language with children. Sixth; conduct group approaches and provide advice.

Abstract

Abstract The material for spatial networks is considered material that is challenging for understudies to comprehend. How understudies might interpret the material of spatial structure nets is still low, so a learning model methodology is required to have been ready to work on’s how understudies might interpret the material or mathematical nets. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to increase the activities of teacher, students, and student learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the material of building space nets in class V SDN Lamsayuen Aceh Besar. This study aims to increase the activities of teachers, students, and to find out student learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the material of building space nets at SDN Lamsayuen Aceh Besar. The subjects in this study were 29 students, 15 male students adn 14 female students. The data analysis technique used is observation and test. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis using the percentage formula. The results of observations showed that there was an increase in teacher activity in the first cycle the average value was 3,25 (enough), in the second cycle the avarage value was 4,25 (good) and in the third cycle the average value was 4,75 (very good). the student activity in the first cycle has an average score or 2,95 (enough), in the secon cycle the average value is 3,85 (good) and in the third cycle the avarage value is 4,32 (good). Learning outcomes in the first cycle the average value is 65,8 with 31% classical completeness, in the second cycle the average value is 75,3 with 72,4% classical completeness and the third cycle the average value is 81 with 86% classical completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Picture and Picture Interactive Learning on students' learning motivation in the Sub-theme I and My Goals in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Lampeuneurut. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was grade 4 students, totaling 61 students. The method of data collection was carried out by tests and motivation scales, the results of the research used hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 22. Previously, hypothesis testing, homogeneity and normality were tested with homogeneity of 0.000 below 0.05, meaning the data is homogeneous. While the results of the normality test are 0.200 0.05, the information is normal. The results of hypothesis testing from the test with an R value of 0.729. While the value of R Square is 0.729, which means that students' learning motivation has an effect of 0.532% on learning outcomes using the Picture and Picture Interactive learning model. Because the value of sig 0.05, it tends to be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is recognized. Thus, it is stated that there is an effect of the Endless Picture Intelligent learning model on students' learning motivation in the Sub-theme I and My Goals for the fourth grade of SD Negeri Lampeuneurut.
