Recently the involvement of women in terrorism has increased through their various roles, from facilitators, recruiters, nurses, couriers to suicide bombers and frontline fighters in acts of terrorism. Even though jihad limit the involvement of women in action, the rising of ISIS in 2014 has increased their involvement in terrorism as jihadists. Women are given various passive and active roles such as being the perpetrators of suicide bombers. Violent behavior by women is said to be a deviation because of gender stereotypes that exist in society and shift the view that women are victims. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study to describe the identity and role that women have in terrorism. Furthermore, this study used a theoretical analysis of Sheldon Stryker's Identity Theory (1980) with the salience identity to find out how to counter women involvement in terrorism in profiling practice to decide the methods to hadling it. The results of the study showed that the salience identity of women is still not considered as the main character in terrorism so that women are often considered as victims. The involvement of women in the role is marked by the roles they carry that affect their social behavior according to the role they play as terrorists. There are various identities of women that will have an impact on policies to deal with terrorism aimed at women, they must look at the roles and identities they have in accordance with the proportions of their salience identities.

The decision for being migrant domestic workers among Indonesian mothers often creates a dilemmatic situation for them. On the one hand, they really want to secure and save their family’s economy and support their children’s education. However, on the other hand, leaving their children in the home country for a long period of time produces a guilty feeling; in fact, they are stigmatized as irresponsible and bad mothers. This article discusses how the experiences of transnational migration among Indonesian mothers for being domestic workers abroad contribute to diversify the meanings and practices of motherhood, including mother-child relations. In this study, ten participants were interviewed and asked how the transnational migration enables them to reconstruct the traditional norms, structures, patterns, and arrangements of motherhood. The studies on new motherhood among migrant mothers reveal two distinctive conceptualizations of motherhood and parenthood that center in the role of sending money and gifts, which are the emotionalization of money and the commodification of love. This article elaborates dynamic and heterogenous reasons of being engaged in the commodification and commercialization of love and care among transnational mothers. I argue that through their consumption practices and behavior, Indonesian migrant domestic workers re(produce), negotiate and maintain their personal, familial, and social relationships with their children and their society to fit their motherhood role into accepted social expectations due to their physical absence.

Studies on women who file for divorce in Aceh still need to be carried out to get an overview of the current problems and issues related to women who are filing for divorce. The problems experienced by women include conflicts in the household that encourage them to file a lawsuit to the Syar'iyah Court/Mahkamah until they get a permanent decision and have legal force from the judiciary. Even after divorce, women still face various obstacles to achieve happiness. This study aims to provide an overview of the current issues of women seeking divorce in Aceh. The research data are from observations and practical experience of researchers as professionals in women's and child protection service institutions and psychological service institutions. This study focuses on the psychological aspects experienced by women in stressful situations due to the end of the marital relationship. The results of the thematic data analysis show that the important issues related to women who file for divorce are; an increase in the divorce rate which requires the attention of the parties in an effort to reduce the divorce rate; the legal process in the Religious Courts/Syar'iyah Courts with therapeutic nuances; psychological dynamics of women who are suing for divorce which have an impact on the order of their lives so that they require intervention efforts, including empowerment in economic, psychological, and social aspects. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for all parties, including the government, village officials, private institutions, the general public and philanthropy, to seriously pay attention to women who file for divorce so as to minimize the negative impact of divorce on women and children.

Freeport Indonesia's mission is to be committed to being creative in processing the transformation of natural resources to provide prosperity and contribute to aspects of sustainable development through various mining practices by prioritizing the welfare and peace of employees and communities, human resource development, social and environmental responsibility, as well as safety and welfare in the operating area. The paper aims at identifying the Education Diplomacy of PT. Freeport Indonesia with AMINEF in improving gender equality in Papua and to analyze the barriers faced by women especially Papuan Women in taking part of the AMINEF scholarship specifically the Community College Initiative Program. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, by selecting interview techniques and literature study in data collection, as well as using the theory of Education Diplomacy, Multinational Corporation, and Gender Equality as theoretical framework on the whole process of implementing the AMINEF program in facing obstacles in achieving gender equality in Papua. The result of the research reveals that there has been no gender equality policy among three actors: the government, Freeport, and AMINEF which leads to low capability of developing Papuan people. Freeport itself merely concentrates on its production without paying attention on gender equality.

Cases of sexual violence are increasingly occurring in Indonesia, including in Aceh. Therefore, the existence of a safe house is seen very necessary and doing research on it is very important. However, in the context of Aceh, it becomes more important and interesting in relation to the regulation of the implementation of Islamic law. This paper discusses the existence of a safe house for victims of sexual violence in a sharia country, what if it is associated with the perspective of legal politics and maqasid al-syariah. This study used qualitative research using empirical juridical research methods, namely a field research that examines the applicable legal provisions and what happens in reality in society. The result of the study showed that the existence of safe houses in Aceh was very crucial. However, until then, Aceh only had two safe houses, although actually not too worthy to be called a definitive safe house. Normatively, there were many laws and qanuns having been made, but it seems that there was little political will and commitment from the authorities, even though in a syar'i perspective, the existence of safe houses in the perspective of maqasid al-syariah as dharuriyyah side is very important from Islamic perspective.

The existence of plastic waste has long been a conversation that never ends. Although there have been many movements and solutions for handling it, in fact Indonesia is still the largest waste contributor after China. The lack of awareness, concern and ability of our society in managing waste are considered as the causes of the increase of our waste every year. So it is considered necessary to prepare a better generation by providing stimulation and good habituation to the younger generation so that they can become the next generation that will be more environmentally literate. This study aims to see how the impact of the project-based learning approach in developing naturalist intelligence in early childhood. The research used quantitative method (a quasi-experimental design). The sample in this study was 24 early childhood children, with details of the experimental class 10 children, and the control class 14 children. Data collection was performed by using observation sheets and documentation and consequently the data was analyzed statistically using the T-test. As the result, the study found that the project approach increased the naturalist intelligence score of early childhood by 64%. The highest percentage of changes in children's value is in recycling activities: children are very enthusiastic about being directly involved in the process and can channel their ideas and energy in producing works. It can be concluded that the project-based learning approach affects children's naturalist intelligence and can be used as a learning approach in developing children's naturalist intelligence.

Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting (PPRG) is an instrument to overcome the gap in access, participation, control and benefits between women and men in the implementation of development to realize a more equitable budget. The implementation of the PPRG policy in every Banda Aceh City Apparatus Work Unit (SKPK) is still lacking in scope so that development from a gender perspective cannot be realized properly. This study aims to examine how the process and mechanism of PPRG and to find out the inhibiting factors in the Banda Aceh SKPK based on the Banda Aceh Mayor Regulations No. 18 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of PPRG for SKPKs. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to examine primary data obtained by interview and observation techniques and secondary data by literature. The results show that the process of implementing the PPRG in the Banda Aceh SKPK only began with the issuance of policies as the legal regulation for implementation, provision of disaggregated data and technical guidelines. Then the stage of socialization and assistance in the preparation of the PPRG which produces examples of GAP and GBS where these two things are tools for integrating gender in planning documents. The inhibiting factors are the limitations of human resources and budget, there is no strong pressure in leadership, employee transfers to changes in nomenclature.

Over the last two decades, the government has paid much more attention through imposing laws to minimize sexual violence against children. This mostly has been perpetrated by people close to them or extended family members. Accordingly, detrimental effects of such an immoral act case lead to physical problem and psychological disorder in children. Many cases are just the tip of the iceberg whereby disclosure has not been made because perpetrators fully know victims who always face threat in their lives. The interview was conducted with three counselors and key person or supervisor in the Regional Child Protection Commission (KPAD) to raise a concern about victims and to investigate the contribution of the KPAD in dealing with children victims of sexual violence. This study is undertaken as a result of the phenomena of sexual violence occurring in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Field research with qualitative descriptive-analysis method was employed in this study, and technique for data analysis applied a model of Miles et al. (2014). The findings showed that the contribution of KPAD in handling with victims of sexual violence against children includes providing assistance and advocacy, recovering trauma, boosting motivation, offering counseling, and giving assistance for legal justice technically and substantively. With the treatment, the KPAD of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province also provide the opportunity to assist the provincial government in facilitating the needs of the community who are able to contribute considerably to deal with the issues of sexual violence against children.
