Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a financial perspective, 2) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a customer perspective, 3) describe the performance of the SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from an internal business perspective , and 4) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from the perspective of learning and growth. This research is quantitative descriptive research type. Research data obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research sample was taken from the population of teachers and parents/guardians of students as many as 20 teachers and 130 parents/students guardians. The results showed that 1) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on Balanced Scorecard approach from a financial perspective by 60% in the good category, 2) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from the customer perspective by 80% in the good category, 3) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from an internal business perspective by 82% in the excellent category, 4) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a learning and growth perspective by 80% in the good category.

Abstract

This research aimed at increasing the teacher’s ability in making a lesson plan and conducting a learning process in the class. Type of this research is an Action Research. This research was conducted in 5 school areas of Gugus V Nakula of Serengan Sub-district, Surakarta. The location selection of this research was because the schools are under the guidance of the researcher, because from the results of observation, there were still many teachers who had not understood the main task and functions of a professional teacher. This research was conducted for three months from July 2011 to September 2011, starting from the preparation up to the reporting. Basically, the data which became the analysis materials were primary data that were through a direct observation obtained from the respondents by using the Instrument of Observation. The data consisted of data on the teachers’ ability in composing a syllabus and lesson plan (RPP), as well as   implementing a learning in the class. The results of the research conclusion and discussion were as follows: 1) The giving of guidance in the beginning of composing the syllabus, the lesson plan, and the implementation of learning can optimize the results of supervision that was increasing the teachers’ professionalism. It could be viewed from the increase in the teachers’ ability from the early condition, cycle I and cycle II based on the data obtained by the researcher; 2) The Academic Supervision could increase the teachers’ ability in becoming professional teachers. From 13 teachers who became the researcher’ partners, their professional ability was increased significantly. In composing the lesson plan in the cycle I, from 13 teachers, all of them (100%) obtained scores under 90. Nevertheless, in cycle II, the scores of all teachers increased, therefore, only one teacher whose score was under 90 (7.69%). Similarly, in their ability of implementing the learning, in cycle I, only 2 teachers whose scores were above 80 (15%). Nevertheless, in cycle II, the teachers’ scores increased totally, only one teacher whose score was under 90.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan kaidah tentang perencanaan,pelaksanaan dan penilain pembelajaran matematika kelas X di SMK Negeri 6Surakarta.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yangterjadi di SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. Informan penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah,guru matematika kelas X dan siswa kelas X. Sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah,guru matematika kelas X, siswa kelas X Akuntansi dan dokumen kurikulum. Teknikpengumpulan data berasal dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data mengunakan model mengalir/interaktif.Hasil peneletian ada tiga: 1) Perencanaanpembelajaran sangat memperhatikan apek-aspek pembelajaran, diantaranya denganmanajemen pembelajaran yang efektif dan pengelolaan kelas. Rencana pelaksanaanpembelajaran mengacu pada kurikulum 2013 antara lain memuat: materi pokok danalokasi waktu, tujuan pembelajaran, metode/model pembelajaran, langkah-langkahpembelajaran dan penilaian hasil belajar; 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran selaludiawali dengan pembiasaan pembentukan karakter siswa, diantaranya dengan caraberdoa dan menyanyikan lagu Kebangsaan Indonesia Raya ketika pembelajaran jampertama dan motivasi serta menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran. Guru menyuruhsiswa untuk diskusi kelompok dan mempresentasikan hasil diskusi di depan kelas.Akhir pembelajaran, siswa diminta membuat kesimpulan dan tugas mandiri; 3) Hasilpenilaian pengetahuan diperoleh dari seberapa jauh pemahaman materi, penilaianketerampilan diperoleh dari hasil pekerjaan siswa yang berupa proyek dan aktivitassiswa, sedangkan penilaian sikap menggunakan jurnal. Guru menggunakan penilaianautentik (authentic assessment) dalam menilai seluruh aktivitas siswa dalam prosespembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of male employee performance with female employee performance at Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Bone Regency. This research is a field study with a quantitative approach through the causal comparative. Respondents in this research as many as 46 employees were taken through proportionate random sampling technique from 85 employees at the Ministry of Religion Bone Regency. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire then analyzed by using nonparametric statistics through the Wicoxon test paired samples. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Bone Regency, both men and women didn’t show a significant difference.  Therefore, employee performance does not have a significant difference when compared in terms of gender.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the counseling teacher effort in addressing juvenile delinquency anddescribe the efforts of religious education teachers in addressing juvenile delinquency in SMAN 1 Ngadirojo. This study is a qualitative type. The main subject of research is the principal, teachers, and students. The method of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Teachers Counseling made various efforts to address juvenile delinquency. Such efforts include preventive activities and curative activities. Measures include preventive activities include making personal guidance, coordination with parents, daily monitoring, and also the provision of coaching programs in Monday. Measures include curative activities include cooperation with the police and health centers, conduct home visits, provide spiritual guidance and direction of talent and interest. (2) The teacher of religious education made  various efforts in addressing juvenile delinquency. teachers packed learning activities using the media and methods as well integrates the values  when the national character of the material conveying religious. efforts outside the organized program of learning is habituation, approaching students in private, in coordination with parents, ask students active in Rohis credible form, as well as perform the operation order.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, execution, and follow-up of the academic supervision by the principal at SDN 6 Putatsari Grobogan. This research is qualitative. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques to the analysis of the groove. The process of collecting data through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data using triangulation, triangulation method, and triangulation of researchers. The results of the research, academic supervision 1. Planning in SD Negeri 6 Putatsari produce, a. Preparation of supervision schedule, b. Preparation of Instrument, c. Compile a list of teachers who would be supervised. 2. Implementation of Academic Supervision in SD Negeri 6 Putatsari, supervisor came to the class with the instruments that have been prepared to make observations of learning while noting the incident in accordance with the instrument. 3. Follow-Up Supervision Academic SD Negeri 6 Putatsari, principal with the teachers held discussions break time in the principal’s office, teachers are given the opportunity to express their opinions about the learning process has been implemented. The headmaster shows the results of further observations provide opportunities for teachers to observe and analyze it.

Abstract

This study is conducted to identify the students’ creativity improvement in writingrecount text in which mind-mapping is implemented in the writing class at the tenth grade of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015. By implementing mind-mapping, the students are actively involved in the teaching learning process. With the involvement, the students have more opportunities in conveying their ideas. The opportunities given improve their critical thinking and innovation. The research was conducted from July to December 2014. The method used in this research was classroom action research. There are two cycles conducted. Every research cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. These phases are cyclical so that the researcher can refer back to the first phase after completing the last phase. There are qualitative and quantitative data collected in this research. The qualitative data were collected by observing while the quantitative data were collected by designing tests. The findings showed that the implementation of mind-mapping could improve students’ creativity in writing recount text. The critical thinking (from 57.89% to 86.84%), innovation (from 39.47% to 76.31%), and the learning outcome improved. Based on the improvement, it can be concluded that the result of mindmapping implementation is positive.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of professional competence and teachers’ discipline to teachers’ performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Gantarang District of Bulukumba Regency, both partial and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research with the ex post facto method. Respondents in this research are 41 teachers, taken purposive from 196 teachers. The data collection methods used are questionnaire and documentation then analyzed by using regression analysis to examine the hypothesis. The results of this research indicate that: 1) professional competence affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 40,2% and effective contribution of 17,2%; 2) teachers’ discipline affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 59,8% and effective contribution of 25,6%; 3) professional competence and teachers’ discipline together affect to teachers’ performance with relative contribution of 100% and effective contribution of 42,8%.

Abstract

The background of this research has not managed with maximum visual arts training, duties of the demands of teachers and kindergarten teachers are required to be creative in developing and making learning. The purpose of this study is to design a conceptual model development forms management valid  art training at the kindergarten teachers, include; (a) the development of a model management plan for the training of kindergarten teachers of art, which consists of identifying needs, the goal of training and preparation of training packages; (b) the development of management training for the implementation of the model that consists of a kindergarten teacher competence standard, basic competence, guidelines and training modules; (c) the development of evaluation model of management training for kindergarten teachers of art, covering the reaction and impact of training. The research method is the Research and Development (R D). The respondents were a kindergarten teacher in the city of Semarang. This MPSR model design through stages namely; (1) analyze the empirical models MPSR kindergarten art teacher Semarang (2) to analyze the needs of kindergarten teachers MPSR Semarang; MPSR model design is influenced by three factors; (1) training materials; (2) instructor competence, and (3) management training. MPSR model was designed using MPSR training support package consisting of; MPSR mananajemen guidebook and training module contains material MPSR art. Model MPSR refers manajamen function (planning 3 steps, namely: identification of training needs, setting training objectives and setting up training programs, (2) implementation consists of two steps, namely: the realization of the model, art competence training, and evaluation of training consists of; 2 steps namely, monitoring and evaluation of the reaction and the impact of training.

Abstract

This research aim to description about improvement of domination of matter comprehends   democracy  and  goverment  system  in  Indonesia  through  understanding   of concept at class student VIII F in State Junior High School Three Teras Region Boyolali even semester  of school  year 2013/2014.  Subject  and research  data source  is 24 students.  Data collecting method applies observation,  questionnaire,  documentation,  and test. Data analysis applies critical analysis and comparability. Indicator success of using minimal limit criteria 75 and complete target of 100%. Research procedure applies cycle. Result of inferential research and solution  as follows  : obtained  progress  of achievement  of student  learning  in study of Education   Citizenship   with  matter  comprehends   democracy   and  goverment   system  in Indonesia , at precycle average of 71,6 and cycle I average of 76,2 and cycle II average of 84,8. From this data, seems to explain that happened increase of average of value from precycle to cycle I 4,6 numbers (6,4%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase 8,6 numbers (11,3%), from pasiklus  to cycle II happened  increase  13,2 numbers  (18,4%).  Highest  value of phase precycle 80 and cycle I 86 and cycle II 92. Seems to explain that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 6 number (7,5%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 6 number (7%), and from precycle to cycle II happened increase 12 numbers (15%). Low value of phase precycle is obtained by 66 and cycle I 72 and cycle II 76. thereby, can be affirmed that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 6 number (6,1%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 4 number (5,6%), and from precycle to cycle II happened increase  10 numbers  (15,2%).  Complete  percentage  learnt  starts  from precycle  is obtained equal to 21% and cycle I is obtained  equal to 50% and cycle II equal to 100%.  Seems to explain that from phase precycle to cycle I happened  increase equal to 29%, from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 50%, and from precycle to cycle II happened increase equal to 79%.
