Abstract

 This research aims to describe the implementation of madrasah-based management in enhancing students’ achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Boarding School Nurul Falah Borongganjeng of Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. This research is a qualitative study through a phenomenological approach. The informants in this study are the headmaster, teachers, education personnel, and learners. The data collection technique used are observations, interviews, and documentation. The information obtained is processed and analyzed through several stages including data reduction, data display, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Falah Borongganjeng can improve students’ achievement. Teachers as spearhead education can act autonomously through the application of madrasah-based management by developing approaches, methods, strategies, techniques, media to be used in accordance with the subject matter to be delivered making it easier for learners to understand and ultimately impact on their learning achievements.

Abstract

Academic supervision is series activity assist teachers to develop their abilities to organize learning process for reach the goal. Headmaster must arrange academic supervision at school as wellas implementation of Permendiknas No. 13 Tahun 2007. The problem ist facton the field which shows many headmasters feel reluctant to do it. So,it was held research at SMP Negeri 4 Pacitan with the goal to gain illustrations: (1) characteristic of academic supervision preparation at SMPN 4 P Pacitan, (2) Characteristic of academic supervision implementation at SMPN 4, (3) characteristic of the advantageous academic supervision implementationat SMPN 4 Pacitan.The research method was used of is qualitatif research with etnografi study approach by naturalistic paradigm. The data source an resource person were administration document, teacher, and headmaster. The techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was descriptife qualitatif with the data validity, Examination used triangulation technique.Based on the research, was gained descriptif results: (1) characteristic of academic supervision preparation, (2) characteristic of academic supervision was done when teacher was doing learning proces in calss, (3) characteristic of advantageousacademic supervision implementation at SMPN 4 between: increasingteacher and headmaster competence, so the would more professional and increasing students achievement.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation process of digital transformation in the archive system at SMAN 1 Takengon. The approach use in this research is descriptive quantitative by using survey techniques that support the results of this research. The unit of analysis in this study are staff and teacher with 57 population. Based on the results of the study, there was an implementation of digital transformation that was still not stable and there was a combination system between an archival system that was still manual and digital. This was done because the digital archiving system at SMAN 1 Takengon worked as a data backup on the manual archived system. Based on the results of research in the field, it could be guaranteed that the implementation of digital transformation in the archival system at SMAN 1 Takengon has not been implemented completely from the process in the archive system at SMAN 1 Takengon.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the impact of academic supervision and pedagogic competence on teacher performance at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency. This type of research is ex-post facto research with a positivistic-quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 56 teachers at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency as a whole through a saturated sample. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents and then analyzed through inferential statistics using multiple linear regression. The results of this study prove that: Academic supervision partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 12.8%. Pedagogic competence partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 10.9%. Simultaneously, academic supervision and pedagogic competence have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance by 23.7% at State Junior High Schools in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency. This indicates that the better the implementation of academic supervision and pedagogic competence, the higher the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Ulaweng District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the results of research on graduate satisfaction from a Postgraduate School under the auspices of one of the private universities in Jakarta. The various components explored are in the form of graduate satisfaction with leaders, lecturers, education staff, employees, infrastructure, and the impact of the studies they have taken on career advancement. This study uses a survey method through instruments developed and distributed to respondents using the google form media. The number of respondents in this study was 222. The results showed that most of the alumni or graduates of the 2019/2020 academic year were very satisfied with the service, provision of facilities and infrastructure and the impact of studies on career advancement. The average level of alumni satisfaction is 90.1. The results of this study can be used as a part of evaluating, controlling, and improving the quality of institution services to users or students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the governance of the school literacy movement program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The approach of this study is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this study is the management process of the school literacy movement. The source of data in this study is the document and the process of implementing the school literacy program. The data in this study were collected using the methods of documentation, interviews, and observations. Analysis of the research data using an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the governance of the literacy movement program in Madrasahs is as follows (1) First, the planning of the school literacy program has been carried out by setting the objectives of the school literacy movement program. However, the planning has not been based on needs analysis (2) the organization of the school literacy program has been carried out by organizing human resources and literacy reading materials. However, the organization carried out has not included every task and responsibility of each manager (3) the implementation of the school literacy movement program has been carried out in accordance with the plan. However, evaluation has not been carried out for each activity implementation and (4) the control carried out is still limited to ensuring that the Saturday reading program is carried out or not. Control to improve the quality of the program has not been carried out. The management of the school literacy movement program needs to be managed properly, starting from the strategic planning process, organizing by providing task descriptions, implementing the program in accordance with strategic planning, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic since April 2020 in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia No. 4 of 2020 caused a paradigm shift in learning activities from conventional to online systems. SMKN 1 Jember is one of the schools that implement the system, especially in accounting subjects. This study aims to determine the perception of class X Accounting students on the use of Google Classroom in online accounting learning with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. This type of research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Data collection methods used are questionnaires, interviews, documents and observations. The data analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS version 3.3.2 data measurement. The results showed that H1: perceived ease of use on perceptions of usefulness in the use of Google Classroom had a significant effect of 69.5%, H2: perceived usefulness on attitudes to using Google Classroom had a significant effect of 88.8%, H3: perceived ease of use on Attitude to use Google Classroom has no significant effect at 7%, H4: Attitude to use Google Classroom has a significant effect at 71.7% and H5: intention to use Google Classroom has a significant effect at 84.2%. Of all the hypothesis testing has a significant effect. However, there is one hypothesis that does not provide usefulness and benefits in its use, then H3 shows a negative result. Therefore, further research is needed regarding the perception of ease of use on usage attitudes in the use of Google Classroom.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and test the relationship between transparency, accountability, and community participation. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 26 Bone using a quantitative approach through a correlational study. Respondents in this study found 87 people, consisting of 28 teachers who were taken as a whole, 53 parents of students, and 6 school committee members. The data collection technique used is to distribute research respondent questionnaires. The data obtained through the questionnaire were then analyzed using product moment correlation analysis and multiple correlations. The results of this study have proven that: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between transparency and community participation; and 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between accountability and community participation. Thus, the application of transparency in education management will encourage public awareness to participate in helping to improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of digital literacy skills on the performance of Vocational High School teachers.  The population in this study were all teachers who were civil servants at the State Vocational High School in Gowa Regency, totaling 238 teachers. The proportional random sampling technique was carried out in obtaining a research sample of 70 teachers who had previously used the slovin formula in determining the minimum number of research samples. questionnaire is an instrument in this research which in its development process is tested for content validity using the Gregory formula, construct validity using a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) technique with a maximum likelihood approach,  as well as testing the reliability of the instrument using the Cronbach alpha formula which produces a reliability coefficient value of 0.98 for the teacher's digital literacy skill instrument and a reliability coefficient value of 0.95 for the teacher's performance instrument. Simple linear regression technique was used to analyze the data obtained. The results of the study reveal that there is a positive and significant effect of digital literacy skills on the performance of Vocational High School teachers, and the contribution or influence of digital literacy skills on teacher performance is 39%.

Abstract

Learning from homeapplied in East Sumba is a distance learning Shift. This Shift learning system is done by dividing class levels. This research is R and D research, that focus on application of implementation, the application of the results of previous studies which is the development of the ideal distance learning model in East Sumba by using Addie model. The implementation of the Shift Research Results Guidelines was carried out in Kambera Public Middle School with quesioners, interview and FGD as data collection technique. The results of this study indicate that in: 1) preparation stage, the principal, parents and regional government has conducted a distance learning shift in accordance with the guidelines, while students and teachers have not implemented the preparation according to the guidelines because many students do not prepare health protocol devices while many teachers do not prepare props and video learning; 2) Implementation stage, students, teachers, principals and regional governments have conducted a distance learning Shift in accordance with the guidelines, while parents are not in accordance with the guidelines because parents do not accompany students in carrying out Shift learning at school; 3) Evaluation stage, students, teacher, principals, and local government has conducted a distance learning Shift in accordance with the guidelines, while parents are not in accordance with the guidelines because parents do not accompany students in taking the results of the evaluation of children in school and do not provide feedback to the assessment results.
