Abstract

Semarang is one of the major cities in Indonesia with a population that continues to increase every year. The policy on urban density is not a transportation policy, but this policy has an impact, directly and indirectly, on the city's transportation system. The existence of public transportation facilities serving various urban areas is currently of poor quality, causing various impacts on the community. As a result, many people underutilize these modes and prefer to use private vehicles. The research method that will be used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a rationalistic approach. The ratio used is a simple statistical method. The data used for the assessment of effectiveness and efficiency is seen from the ratio of Accessibility, Capacity, Punctuality, Ticket Prices, Organizational Characteristics, Environmental Characteristics, Worker Characteristics and Management Practices. The results of this study can be concluded that the pattern of movement of public transport users in the Penggaron-Kalibanteng route area of Semarang City (Trans Semarang Corridor 1) falls into the category of evenly accessible to public transport users easily and effectively by meeting all indicators of the effectiveness and efficiency of public transportation. The effectiveness level of the Penggaron-Kalibanteng route in Semarang City (Trans Semarang Corridor 1) has an average percentage value of 96.23% and is classified as very effective. Easy accessibility, bus capacity is in accordance with the number of passengers, and ticket prices are in accordance with the facilities. SPSS calculation of the effectiveness of public transportation services where what is considered effective is from the assessment characteristics of the elements of Capacity, Ticket prices, Organizational characteristics, Environmental characteristics, Worker characteristics and Management characteristics. Meanwhile, the efficiency level has an average percentage value of 94.50% (Vehicle Utility and Load Factor) which is classified as good and efficient. The results of the SPSS calculation of the efficiency of public transportation services where what is considered efficient consists of assessing accessibility, ticket prices, environmental characteristics and management characteristics.

Abstract

Provinsi Sumatera Selatan merupakan salah satu provinsi yang ditunjuk menjadi Lumbung energi Nasional karena memiliki potensi besar terutama dalam segi sumberdaya batubara. Area tambang yang melalui sungai aktif namun cadangan batu bara dibawahnya harus tetap dikelola, agar tidak mengganggu sungai dan tetap mengalir secara alami sehingga berkaitan dengan hal tersebut perlu dilakukan kajian teknis pemindahan sungai agar batubara yang terdapat dibawah ruas sungai saat ini dapat diambil dan dimanfaatkan, maka dilakukan analisis perkuatan lereng akibat pemindahan arus sungai di sekitar area tambang. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kestabilan lereng menggunakan metode mohr columb dan bantuan software plaxis 2D v.22. Data-data yang digunakan antara lain pengujian data tanah yang diuji dilaboratorium, data lapangan yang diambil dari hasil CPT (Cone Penetration Test) dan data tambahan berupa kontur serta data-data pendukung lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, rekomendasi untuk pengaman tebing sungai adalah menggunakan geomembran dan bronjong karena perkuatan yang diperlukan bersifat sementara, dari perkuatan tersebut memenuhi kriteria desain dengan nilai safety factor sebesar 1.636 Untuk kondisi normal dan 1.357 Untuk kondisi gempa.

Abstract

Puskesmas merupakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang sering dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat. Terdapat berbagai persyaratan mengenai puskesmas di dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 43 Tahun 2019 tentang Puskesmas. Namun berdasarkan observasi pendahuluan, terdapat lima puskesmas di Kabupaten Bandung yang belum memenuhi persyaratan-persyaratan pada peraturan tersebut, yakni Puskemas Margahayu Selatan, Puskesmas Rahayu, Puskesmas Rancamanyar, Puskesmas Katapang, dan Puskesmas Cangkuang. Maka, perlu dilakukan evaluasi kinerja gedung pada kelima puskesmas tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja aset gedung kelima puskesmas dengan menggunakan Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) untuk bangunan fasilitas kesehatan berdasarkan tiga dimensi, yakni: teknis, fungsional, dan perilaku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan survei pengunjung menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kinerja dimensi teknis di kelima puskesmas adalah 68% sehingga berkategori “Baik”, rata-rata dimensi fungsional adalah 60% sehingga berkategori “Cukup”, dan rata-rata dimensi perilaku adalah 76% sehingga berkategori “Baik”

Abstract

The inconsistency in the quality of paving blocks can result in uneven road surfaces, thereby increasing the risk of traffic accidents. This study aims to determine the compressive strength quality of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in the city of Semarang, both those made manually and by machine, as well as to understand the reasons behind the dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from various producers in the city. The research samples were taken from four paving block producers located in Semarang. The test results show that all paving block products from the four different producers meet or exceed the minimum compressive strength values set in SNI 03-0691-1998. This indicates that the products are theoretically capable of withstanding the applied compressive loads. The compressive strength test shows the lowest average value from producer AB at 17.21 MPa, while the highest average value was achieved by producer ADS at 19.3369 MPa. The dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in Semarang can be attributed to various factors, including differences in production processes between producers, variations in the raw materials used, and differences in the settings of machines or production equipment.

Abstract

Transportation is an important means to support the success of development and to facilitate economic activities in the community. Economic growth in Tegal Regency has resulted in increased mobility, which requires efforts to improve service quality and add effective transportation infrastructure. In order to improve transportation in Tegal Regency, the government has implemented a policy to relocate and build a representative Type C transport terminal with the aim of solving traffic problems in the Central Business District (CBD) area of Tegal Regency. Relocating the Type C transport terminal in Tegal Regency is necessary to improve the effectiveness of terminal relocation. Therefore, a study was conducted on the Optimization of Type C Terminal Relocation Utilization in Tegal Regency (Case Study: Dukuhsalam Village, Slawi District, Tegal Regency) using a quantitative descriptive research method to find out the effectiveness of terminal relocation. The analysis conducted includes technical analysis, economic analysis, traffic analysis, and environmental analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that terminal relocation is considered effective. The technical analysis shows that the infrastructure and facilities of the new terminal are more complete compared to the revitalization of the old terminal. Economic analysis shows that the return on investment for the new terminal can be achieved 2 years faster compared to revitalizing the old terminal. Relocating the new terminal can reduce congestion costs by IDR 1,158,096.00 per day and reduce environmental damage costs by IDR 1,414,088.93. Therefore, optimizing the Type C terminal in Tegal Regency can be achieved by relocating it to a new location.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze road users' perceptions of pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor (Lawang Sewu – Mall Paragon), Semarang City. Variables such as safety, comfort, accessibility, and infrastructure quality are the focus of this research. Data were collected through questionnaires with a sample of 400 people, field observations, and interviews. Field study results indicate that despite many positive aspects of the current pedestrian pathways in the Pemuda Corridor, there are still deficiencies that need improvement. Certain areas require additional zebra crossings and traffic lights to enhance safety. Furthermore, cleanliness and maintenance of the sidewalks in some spots are still suboptimal. Accessibility for people with disabilities also needs enhancement, as there are still obstacles such as vehicles and vendors occupying the pedestrian paths. The physical condition of the pedestrian pathways is generally good, but some areas require upgrades. These findings imply the need for municipal government intervention to improve the safety, comfort, and accessibility of pedestrian pathways through the addition of safety facilities, stricter enforcement of regulations, and regular maintenance programs. Involving the local community in the planning and management process of pedestrian pathways is also recommended to identify problems more effectively and develop solutions that meet community needs. With these steps, it is expected that pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor and other areas in Semarang City can be improved to create a safer, more comfortable, and inclusive environment for all pedestrians.

Abstract

One of the main indicators of the development progress of a region or city is transportation; Cities that have good transportation services will become developed. The aim of this research is to measure intersection performance based on the degree of saturation, delays and queue length, as well as to find out how the intersection functions during peak hours.The 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual is used as a reference for assessing intersection performance. This study uses a quantitative methodology with direct research in the field. CCTV cameras and Go-Pro cameras are used as analytical tools in the field.According to research conducted at Simpang Jalan Cinde, the value of the degree of saturation at the Jalan Army Student - Kedung Mundu intersection is 0.61 for the southern approach, 0.51 for the western approach, and 0.51 for the eastern approach.

Abstract

One of the Green Open Spaces (RTH) managed by the Sumedang District Forestry and Environment Service is the Gunung Kunci Grand Forest Park. Tahura Gunung Kunci is utilized as a green open space for recreation. The physical condition of the facility assets in Tahura Gunung Kunci is currently in a sub-optimal condition. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of green open space assets in Tahura Gunung Kunci using criteria Urban Green Space which consists of size of area, amenities, the transportation’s park and security network, and focal point. The research method used is a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Research data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show the score or performance value of green open space assets in Tahura Gunung Kunci with the interpretation of "enough".

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe sloping land in Kampung Pelangi Semarang has unique characteristics, with gradients ranging from gentle to steep, posing challenges for creating residential areas that are safe from landslides.   This research aims to understand how housing forms adapt to occupy sloping land with gradients from gentle to steep in Kampung Pelangi. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with samples consisting of residential buildings on the slopes of Kampung Pelangi. The findings of this research show that the spatial arrangement of housing in Kampung Pelangi adapts to the slope conditions, resulting in both wide and narrow flat spaces. The boundaries of the residential areas use retaining walls to enhance land stability and serve as the foundation for the outer walls of the buildings. There are private spaces such as terraces that are utilized as circulation paths between residences in Kampung Pelangi.Key words: Residential, sloping land, adaptation, structureABSTRAKLahan berlereng di Kampung Pelangi Semarang memiliki karakteristik  yang unik,   dengan kemiringan lahan dari landai sampai curam  akan menjadi tantangan menjadi area hunian, yang aman dari longsor.  Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui bagaimana adaptasi bentuk hunian dalam menempati lahan lerengan dengan kemiringan yang landai sampai curam di Kampung Pelangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini menggunakan  pendekatan  kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel adalah  bangunan hunian dilerengan Kampung Pelangi.  Temuan dari penelitian ini tata ruang hunian di Kampung Pelangi beradaptasi dengan kondisi lerengan sehingga ada yang memiliki ruang datar yang lebar maupun yang sempit. Batas lahan hunian menggunakan talud atau dinding penahan tanah dipakai untuk memperkuat stabilitas lahan sekaligus dipakai sebagai pondasi bangunan pada dinding luar bangunan. Terdapat ruang yang bersifat privat seperti teras dimanfaatkan sebagai jalur sirkulasi jalan antar hunian di Kampung Pelangi.Kata kunci: Hunian, adaptasi, lerengan, struktur

Abstract

Economic growth in a country, especially in big cities such as Semarang Indonesia, has an impact to an increase in the number of vehicles passing through the area. This issue logically correlates to why the existing transportation facilities and infrastructure need to continuously improve. Semarang Public Works Department of Bina Marga as an extension of the central government has been continuously making efforts, including improving the quality and quantity of road sections in the areas deemed to need handling. These aim to expediting and accelerating traffic activities among regions. Using quantitative methods supported by SPSS V26 software, this study aimed (1) to investigate factors influenced the success of Sidodadi Sabara project, (2) to find out factors which most influenced the success of the project, and (3) to find out how successful the project was. From results of the analysis, it was recognized that the work management be the most dominant factor among the other factors. By anticipating this variable, the success rate of Sidodadi Sabara road project development would potentially increase. This research was expected to be an empirical input for related parties, especially the implementing agencies of the project.
